Steps to Memorize The Holy Quran Ayah by Ayah:

Step 1: Play Each Ayah     Step 2: Repeat After or With It     Step 3: Memorize Each Ayah     Step 4: Then Proceed with Next Ayah & Repeat Step 1 to 3 For All Ayahs.

Play Each Ayah & Repeat (as many times as needed) After or With it in a similar tone (qiraat) and pronunciation (tajweed) until you have Memorized the Ayah, after you have memorized the Ayah, play and repeat the Next Ayah, do this until you have In Sha Allah memorized all the Ayahs (i.e., verses) in the entire Surah. Make sure to also Read, Understand and Learn the Translation of the Surah inorder to get a better understanding of the Surah you are Memorizing or Reading.

Memorize & Understand Ayah by Ayah

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Ayah 1: Play | Listen | Repeat Memorize

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ

Ayah 1: qul a’ūzu birabbi l-falaqi
Meaning: Say:I seek refuge (i.e., protection) in the Lord of the dawn (i.e., daybreak)

[Qul a’oozu bi rabbil-falaq]

Ayah 2: Play | Listen | Repeat Memorize

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

Ayah 2: min sharri khalaqa
Meaning: from the evil (i.e., evil-effect of mischief caused by the creation) of what He ˹Allâh˺ has created

[Min sharri maa khalaq]

Ayah 3: Play | Listen | Repeat Memorize

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ

Ayah 3: wa min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqaba
Meaning: and from the evil of darkness when it (i.e., darkness) spreads

[Wa min sharri ghaasiqin izaa waqab]

Ayah 4: Play | Listen | Repeat Memorize

وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ

Ayah 4: wa min sharri l-naffā-sāti fi l-‘uqadi
Meaning: and from the evil of the blowers (i.e., blackmagic performers blow) in the knots (i.e., of their blackmagic practices)

[Wa min sharrin-naffaa-saati fil ‘uqad]

Ayah 5: Play | Listen | Repeat Memorize

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍإِذَا حَسَدَ

Ayah 5: wa min sharri hāsidin idhā hasada
Meaning: and from the evil of an envier (i.e., one who is jealous) when he envies (i.e., when jealous)

[Wa min sharri haasidin izaa hasad]
