14. Surah Ibrahim

1. الر ۚ كِتَابٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ النَّاسَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ
‘Alif-Lām-Rā Kitābun Anzalnāhu Ilayka Litukhrija An-Nāsa Mina Až-Žulumāti ‘Ilá An-Nūr Bi’idhni Rabbihim ‘Ilá Şirāţi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥamīdi
14:1  Alif Laam Ra. A Book which We have revealed to you, so that you may bring out the mankind from the darkness[es] to the light by the permission (of) their Lord, to the Path (of) the All-Mighty, the Praiseworthy.
1. Alif-Laaam-Raa; Kitaabun anzalnaahu ilaika litukhrijan-naasa minaz zulumaati ilan noori bi-izni Rabbihim ilaa siraatil ‘Azeezil Hameed
2. اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَوَيْلٌ لِلْكَافِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ
Al-Lahi Al-Ladhī Lahu  As-Samāwāti Wa Mā  Al-‘Arđi Wa Waylun Lilkāfirīna Min `Adhābin Shadīdin
14:2  Allah (is) the One to Him (belongs) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth. And woe to the disbelievers from the punishment severe.
2. Allaahil lazee lahoo maa fis samaawaati wa maa fill ard; wa wailul lilkaafireena min ‘azaabin shadeed
3. الَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الْآخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ فِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ
Al-Ladhīna Yastaĥibbūna Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā `Alá Al-‘Ākhirati Wa Yaşuddūna `An Sabīli Al-Lahi Wa Yabghūnahā `Iwajāan ‘Ūlā’ika Đalālin Ba`īdin
14:3  Those who love more the life (of) the world than the Hereafter, and hinder from (the) Path (of) Allah, and seek in it crookedness, those [in] (are) astray far.
3. Allazeena yastahibboo nal hayaatad dunyaa ‘alal aakhirati wa yasuddoona ‘ansabeelil laahi wa yabghoonahaa ‘iwajaa; ulaaa ‘ika fee dalaalin ba’eed
4. وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ ۖ فَيُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Wa Mā ‘Arsalnā Min Rasūlin Illā Bilisāni Qawmihi Liyubayyina Lahum Fayuđillu Al-Lahu Man Yashā’u Wa Yahdī Man Yashā’u Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu
14:4  And not We sent any Messenger except with the language (of) his people so that he might make clear for them. Then lets go astray Allah whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He (is) the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
4. Wa maaa arsalnaa mir Rasoolin illaa bilisaani qawmihee liyubaiyina lahum fa yudillul laahu mai yashaaa’u wa yahdee mai yashaaa’; wa Huwal ‘Azeezul Hakeem
5. وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِآيَاتِنَا أَنْ أَخْرِجْ قَوْمَكَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَذَكِّرْهُمْ بِأَيَّامِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ
Wa Laqad ‘Arsalnā Mūsá Bi’āyātinā ‘An Akhrij Qawmaka Mina Až-Žulumāti Ilá An-Nūri Wa Dhakkirhum Bi’ayyāmi Al-Lahi ‘Inna  Dhālika La’āyātin Likulli Şabbārin Shakūrin
14:5  And verily We sent Musa with Our Signs, that Bring out your people from the darkness[es] to the light. And remind them of the days (of) Allah.” Indeed, in that surely (are) the signs for everyone patient and thankful.
5. Wa laqad arsalnaa Moosaa bi Aayaatinaa an akhrij qawmaka minaz zulumaati ilan noori wa zak kirhum bi ayyaamil laah; inna fee zaalika la aayaatil likulli sabbaarin shakoor
6. وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ أَنْجَاكُمْ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ وَيُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُمْ بَلَاءٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ
Wa ‘Idh Qāla Mūsá Liqawmihi Adhkurū Ni`mata Al-Lahi `Alaykum Idh Anjākum Min Āli Fir`awna Yasūmūnakum Sū’a Al-`Adhābi Wa Yudhabbiĥūna ‘Abnā’akum Wa Yastaĥyūna Nisā’akum Wa Fī Dhālikum Balā’un Min Rabbikum `Ažīmun
14:6  And when said Musa to his people, “Remember (the) Favor (of) Allah upon you, when He saved you from (the) people (of) Firaun, they were afflicting you (with) evil torment and were slaughtering your sons and letting live your women. And in that (was) a trial from your Lord great.”
6. Wa iz qaala Moosaa liqawmihiz kuroo ni’matal laahi ‘alaikum iz anjaakum min Aali Fir’awna yasoomoo nakum sooo’al ‘azaabi wa yuzabbihoona abnaaa’akum wa yastahyoona nisaaa’akum; wa fee zaalikum balaaa’un mir Rabbikum ‘azeem (section 1)
7. وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ ۖ وَلَئِنْ كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ
Wa ‘Idh Ta’adhdhana Rabbukum La’in Shakartum La’azīdannakum Wa La’in Kafartum Inna `Adhābī Lashadīdun
14:7  And when proclaimed your Lord, “If you are thankful, surely I will increase you; but if you are ungrateful indeed, My punishment (is) surely severe.”
7. Wa iz ta azzana Rabbukum la’in shakartum la azeedannakum wa la’in kafartum inna ‘azaabee lashadeed
8. وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ إِنْ تَكْفُرُوا أَنْتُمْ وَمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ
Wa Qāla Mūsá ‘In Takfurū Antum Wa Man  Al-‘Arđi Jamī`āan Fa’inna Al-Laha Laghanīyun Ĥamīdun
14:8  And said Musa, “If you disbelieve, you and whoever (is) in the earth all, then indeed, Allah certainly (is) Free of need, Praiseworthy.”
8. Wa qaala Moosaaa in takfurooo antum wa man fil ardi jamee’an fa innal laaha la Ghaniyyun Hameed
9. أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ ۛ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ ۛ لَا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۚ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَرَدُّوا أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَقَالُوا إِنَّا كَفَرْنَا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ وَإِنَّا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِمَّا تَدْعُونَنَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ
‘Alam Ya’tikum Naba’u Al-Ladhīna Min Qablikum Qawmi Nūĥin Wa `Ādin Wa Thamūda Wa Al-Ladhīna Min Ba`dihim Ya`lamuhumIllā Al-Lahu Jā’at/hum Rusuluhum Bil-Bayyināti Faraddū Aydiyahum  ‘Afwāhihim Wa Qālū ‘Innā Kafarnā Bimā Ursiltum Bihi Wa ‘Innā Lafī Shakkin Mimmā Tad`ūnanā ‘Ilayhi Murībin
14:9  Has not come to you (the) news (of) those who (were) from before you, the people of Nuh, and Aad and Thamud and those who (were) from after them? None knows them except Allah. Came to them their Messengers with clear proofs but they returned their hands in their mouths and they said,Indeed we [we] disbelieve in what you have been sent with [it], and indeed, we (are) surely in doubt about what you invite us to it suspicious.”
9. Alam ya’tikum naba’ul lazeena min qablikum qawmi Noohinw wa ‘Aadinw wa Samood, wallazeena mim ba’dihim; laa ya’lamuhum illallaah; jaaa’at hum Rusuluhum bilbaiyinaati faraddooo aydiyahum feee afwaahihim wa qaalooo innaa kafarnaa bimaaa ursiltum bihee wa innaa lafee shakkim mimmaa tad’oonanaaa ilaihi mureeb
10. قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِي اللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُمْ مِنْ ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ قَالُوا إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ
Qālat Rusuluhum Afī Al-Lahi Shakkun Fāţiri As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđi Yad`ūkum Liyaghfira Lakum Min Dhunūbikum Wa Yu’uakhkhirakum ‘Ilá ‘Ajalin Musammáan Qālū ‘InAntum Illā Basharun Mithlunā Turīdūna An Taşuddūnā `Ammā Kāna Ya`budu ‘Ābā’uunā Fa’tūnā Bisulţānin Mubīnin
14:10  Said their Messengers, “Can (there) be about Allah any doubt, (the) Creator (of) the heavens and the earth? He invites you, so that He may forgive for you [of] your sins, and give you respite for a term appointed.” They said,Not you (are) but a human like us, you wish to hinder us from what used to worship our forefathers. So bring us an authority clear.”
10. Qaalat Rusuluhum afillaahi shakkun faatiris samaawaati wal ardi yad’ookum liyaghfira lakum min zunoobikum wa yu’akhirakum ilaaa ajalin musammaa; qaaloo in antum illaa basharum mislunaa tureedoona an tasuddoonaa ‘ammaa kaana ya’budu aabaaa’unaa fa’toonaa bi sultaanin mubeen
11. قَالَتْ لَهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ إِنْ نَحْنُ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ يَمُنُّ عَلَىٰ مَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا أَنْ نَأْتِيَكُمْ بِسُلْطَانٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Qālat Lahum Rusuluhum ‘In Naĥnu Illā Basharun Mithlukum Wa Lakinna Al-Laha Yamunnu `Alá Man Yashā’u Min `Ibādihi Wa Mā Kāna Lanā An Na’tiyakum Bisulţānin Illā Bi’idhni Al-Lahi Wa `Alá Al-Lahi Falyatawakkali Al-Mu’uminūna
14:11  Said to them their Messengers,Not we (are) but a human like you, but Allah bestows His Grace on whom He wills of His slaves. And not is for us that we bring you an authority except by the permission (of) Allah. And upon Allah so let put (their) trust the believers.
11. Qaalat lahum Rusuluhum in nahnu illaa basharum mislukum wa laakinnal laaha yamunnu ‘alaa mai yashaaa’u min ‘ibaadihee wa maa kaana lanaaa an na’tiyakum bisul taanin illaa bi iznil laah; wa ‘alal laahi falyatawakkalil mu’minoon
12. وَمَا لَنَا أَلَّا نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَانَا سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَلَنَصْبِرَنَّ عَلَىٰ مَا آذَيْتُمُونَا ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
Wa Mā Lanā Allā Natawakkala `Alá Al-Lahi Wa Qad Hadānā Subulanā Wa Lanaşbiranna `Alá Mā Ādhaytumūnā Wa `Alá Al-Lahi Falyatawakkali Al-Mutawakkilūna
14:12  And what (is) for us that not we put our trust upon Allah, while certainly He has guided us to our ways? And surely we will bear with patience on what harm you may cause us. And upon Allah so let put (their) trust the ones who put (their) trust.”
12. Wa maa lanaa allaa natawakkala ‘alal laahi wa qad hadaanaa subulanaa; wa lanasbiranna ‘alaa maaa aazaitumoonaa; wa ‘alal laahi falyatawakkalil mutawakkiloon (section 2)
13. وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِرُسُلِهِمْ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكُمْ مِنْ أَرْضِنَا أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا ۖ فَأَوْحَىٰ إِلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ لَنُهْلِكَنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lirusulihim Lanukhrijannakum Min Arđinā Aw Lata`ūdunna Millatinā Fa’awĥá Ilayhim Rabbuhum Lanuhlikanna Až-Žālimīna
14:13  And said those who disbelieved to their Messengers, Surely we will drive you out of our land or surely you should return to our religion.So inspired to them their Lord, “We will surely destroy the wrongdoers.
13. Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo li Rusulihim lanukhrijanna kum min aardinaaa aw la ta’oodunna fee millatinaa fa awhaaa ilaihim Rabbuhum lanuhlikannaz zaalimeen
14. وَلَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامِي وَخَافَ وَعِيدِ
Wa Lanuskinannakumu Al-‘Arđa Min Ba`dihim Dhālika Liman Khāfa Maqāmī Wa Khāfa Wa`īdi
14:14  And surely We will make you dwell (in) the land from after them. That (is) for whoever fears standing before Me and fears My Threat.”
14. Wa lanuskinan nakumul arda min ba’dihim; zaalika liman khaafa maqaamee wa khaafa wa’eed
15. وَاسْتَفْتَحُوا وَخَابَ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ
Wa Astaftaĥū Wa Khāba Kullu Jabbārin `Anīdin
14:15  And they sought victory and disappointed every tyrant obstinate.
15. Wastaftahoo wa khaaba kullu jabbaarin ‘aneed
16. مِنْ وَرَائِهِ جَهَنَّمُ وَيُسْقَىٰ مِنْ مَاءٍ صَدِيدٍ
Min Warā’ihi Jahannamu Wa Yusqá Min Mā’in Şadīdin
14:16  From ahead of him (is) Hell, and he will be made to drink of water purulent.
16. Minw waraaa’ihee jahannamu wa yusqaa min maaa’in sadeed
17. يَتَجَرَّعُهُ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُسِيغُهُ وَيَأْتِيهِ الْمَوْتُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمَيِّتٍ ۖ وَمِنْ وَرَائِهِ عَذَابٌ غَلِيظٌ
Yatajarra`uhu Wa Lā Yakādu Yusīghuhu Wa Ya’tīhi Al-Mawtu Min Kulli Makānin Wa Mā Huwa Bimayyitin Wa Min Warā’ihi `Adhābun Ghalīžun
14:17  He will sip it but not he will be near (to) swallowing it. And will come to him the death from every side, but not he will die. And from ahead of him (is) a punishment harsh.
17. Yatajarra’uhoo wa laa yakaadu yuseeghuhoo wa ya’teehil mawtu min kulli makaaninw wa maa huwa bimaiyitinw wa minw waraaa’ihee ‘azaabun ghaleez
18. مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖ أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَرَمَادٍ اشْتَدَّتْ بِهِ الرِّيحُ فِي يَوْمٍ عَاصِفٍ ۖ لَا يَقْدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلَالُ الْبَعِيدُ
Mathalu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Birabbihim ‘A`māluhum Karamādin Ashtaddat Bihi Ar-Rīĥu Yawmin `Āşifin  Yaqdirūna Mimmā Kasabū `Alá Shay’in Dhālika Huwa Ađ-Đalālu Al-Ba`īdu
14:18  (The) example (of) those who disbelieve in their Lord, their deeds (are) like ashes blows furiously on it the wind in a day stormy. No control (they have) of what they have earned on anything. That, [it] (is) the straying far.
18. Masalul lazeena kafaroo bi Rabbihim; a’maaluhum karamaadinish taddat bihir reehu fee yawmin ‘aasifin; laa yaqdiroona mimmaa kasaboo ‘alaa shai’; zaalika huwad dalaalul ba’eed
19. أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِنْ يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ
Alam Tará Anna Al-Laha Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđa Bil-Ĥaqqi ‘In Yasha Yudh/hibkum Wa Ya’ti Bikhalqin Jadīdin
14:19  Do not you see, that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth? If He wills, He can remove you and bring a creation new.
19. Alam tara annal laaha khalaqas samaawaati wal arda bilhaqq; iny yasha yuzhibkum wa ya’ti bikhalqin jadeed
20. وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍ
Wa Mā Dhālika `Alá Al-Lahi Bi`azīzin
14:20  And not (is) that on Allah great.
20. Wa maa zaalika ‘alal laahi bi ‘azeez
21. وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ قَالُوا لَوْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ ۖ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَا أَجَزِعْنَا أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِنْ مَحِيصٍ
Wa Barazū Lillahi Jamī`āan Faqāla Ađ-Đu`afā’u Lilladhīna Astakbarū Innā Kunnā Lakum Taba`āan Fahal Antum Mughnūna `Annā Min `Adhābi Al-Lahi Min Shay’in Qālū Law Hadānā Al-Lahu Lahadaynākum Sawā’un `Alaynā ‘Ajazi`nā ‘Am Şabarnā Lanā Min Maĥīşin
14:21  And they will come forth before Allah all together, then will say the weak to those who were arrogant,Indeed we, we were your followers, so can you (be) the one who avails us from (the) punishment (of) Allah from anything?” They will say, “If had guided us Allah surely we would have guided (It is) same for us whether we show intolerance or we are patient, not (is) for us any place of escape.”
21. Wa barazoo lillaahi jamee’an faqaalad du’afaaa’u lil lazeenas takbarooo innaa kunnaa lakum taba’an fahal antum mughnoona ‘annaa min ‘azaabil laahi min shai’; qaaloo law hadaanal laahu la hadaynaakum sawaaa’un ‘alainaaa ajazi’naa am sabarnaa maa lanaa min mahees (section 3)
22. وَقَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَمَّا قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ الْحَقِّ وَوَعَدْتُكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُكُمْ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ سُلْطَانٍ إِلَّا أَنْ دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَاسْتَجَبْتُمْ لِي ۖ فَلَا تَلُومُونِي وَلُومُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ ۖ مَا أَنَا بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ وَمَا أَنْتُمْ بِمُصْرِخِيَّ ۖ إِنِّي كَفَرْتُ بِمَا أَشْرَكْتُمُونِ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۗ إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Wa Qāla Ash-Shayţānu Lammā Quđiya Al-‘AmruInna Al-Laha Wa`adakum Wa`da Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Wa`adtukum Fa’akhlaftukum Wa Mā Kāna `Alaykum Min Sulţānin Illā An Da`awtukum Fāstajabtum Falā Talūmūnī Wa Lūmū ‘Anfusakum Mā Anā Bimuşrikhikum Wa Mā Antum Bimuşrikhīya Innī Kafartu Bimā Ashraktumūnī Min Qablu Inna Až-Žālimīna Lahum `Adhābun Alīmun
14:22  And will say the Shaitaan, when has been decided the matter,Indeed, Allah promised you a promise (of) truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But not had I over you any authority except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So (do) not blame me, but blame yourselves. Not (can) I (be) your helper and not you (can) (be) my helper. Indeed, I deny [of what] your association of me (with Allah) from before. Indeed, the wrongdoers, for them (is) a punishment painful.”
22. Wa qaalash Shaitaanu lammaa qudiyal amru innal laaha wa’adakum wa’dal haqqi wa wa’attukum fa akhlaftukum wa maa kaana liya ‘alaikum min sultaanin illaaa an da’awtukum fastajabtum lee falaa taloomoonee wa loomooo anfusakum maaa ana bimusrikhikum wa maaa antum bimusrikhiyya innee kafartu bimaaa ashraktumooni min qabl; innaz zaalimeena lahum azaabun aleem
23. وَأُدْخِلَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَامٌ
Wa ‘Udkhila Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-‘Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Bi’idhni Rabbihim Taĥīyatuhum Fīhā Salāmun
14:23  And will be admitted, those who believed and did righteous deeds (to) Gardens flows from underneath it the rivers (will) abide forever in it by the permission (of) their Lord; their greetings therein (will be) peace.
23. Wa udkhilal lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa bi izni Rabbihim tahiyyatuhum feeha salaam
24. أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا كَلِمَةً طَيِّبَةً كَشَجَرَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصْلُهَا ثَابِتٌ وَفَرْعُهَا فِي السَّمَاءِ
Alam Tará Kayfa Đaraba Al-Lahu Mathalāan Kalimatan Ţayyibatan Kashajaratin Ţayyibatin Aşluhā Thābitun Wa Far`uhā Fī As-Samā’i
14:24  Do not you see how sets forth Allah the example, a word good (is) like a tree good, its root (is) firm and its branches (are) in the sky?
24. Alam tara kaifa darabal laahu masalan kalimatan taiyibatan kashajaratin taiyibatin asluhaa saabitunw wa far’uhaa fis samaaa’
25. تُؤْتِي أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينٍ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهَا ۗ وَيَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
Tu’utī Ukulahā Kulla Ĥīnin Bi’idhni Rabbihā Wa Yađribu Al-Lahu Al-‘Amthāla Lilnnāsi La`allahum Yatadhakkarūna
14:25  Giving its fruit all time by the permission of its Lord. And sets forth Allah the examples for mankind so that they may remember.
25. Tu’teee ukulahaa kulla heenim bi izni Rabbihaa; wa yadribul laahul amsaala linnaasi la’allahum yatazak karoon
26. وَمَثَلُ كَلِمَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ كَشَجَرَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ اجْتُثَّتْ مِنْ فَوْقِ الْأَرْضِ مَا لَهَا مِنْ قَرَارٍ
Wa Mathalu Kalimatin Khabīthatin Kashajaratin Khabīthatin Ajtuththat Min Fawqi Al-‘Arđi Lahā Min Qarārin
14:26  And (the) example (of) a word evil (is) like a tree evil, uprooted from the surface (of) the earth, not for it (is) any stability.
26. Wa masalu kalimatin khabeesatin kashajaratin khabee satinij tussat min fawqil ardi maa lahaa min qaraar
27. يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَيُضِلُّ اللَّهُ الظَّالِمِينَ ۚ وَيَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ
Yuthabbitu Al-Lahu Al-Ladhīna Āmanū Bil-Qawli Ath-Thābiti Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Fī Al-‘Ākhirati Wa Yuđillu Al-Lahu Až-Žālimīna Wa Yaf`alu Al-Lahu Yashā’u
14:27  keeps firm Allah those who believe with word the firm in the life (of) the world and in the Hereafter. And lets go astray Allah the wrongdoers. And does Allah what He wills.
27. Yusabbitul laahul lazeena aamanoo bilqawlis saabiti fil hayaatid dunyaa wa fil Aakhirati wa yudillul laahuz zaalimeen; wa yaf’alul laahu maa yashaaa’ (section 4)
28. أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّوا قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ
Alam Tará Ilá Al-Ladhīna Baddalū Ni`mata Al-Lahi Kufrāan Wa ‘Aĥallū Qawmahum Dāra Al-Bawāri
14:28  Have not you seen [to] those who (have) changed (the) Favor (of) Allah (for) disbelief and they led their people (to the) house (of) destruction?
28. Alam tara ilal lazeena baddaloo ni’matal laahi kufranw wa ahalloo qawmahum daaral bawaar
29. جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْقَرَارُ
Jahannama Yaşlawnahā Wa Bi’sa Al-Qarāru
14:29  Hell, (in) it they will burn and a wretched place to settle.
29. Jahannama yaslawnahaa wa bi’sal qaraar
30. وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ أَنْدَادًا لِيُضِلُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ ۗ قُلْ تَمَتَّعُوا فَإِنَّ مَصِيرَكُمْ إِلَى النَّارِ
Wa Ja`alū Lillahi Andādāan Liyuđillū `An Sabīlihi Qul Tamatta`ū Fa’inna Maşīrakum Ilá An-Nāri
14:30  And they set up to Allah equals so that they mislead from His Path. Say, “Enjoy, but indeed, your destination (is) to the Fire.”
30. Wa ja’aloo lillaahi andaadal liyudilloo ‘an sabeelih; qul tamatta’oo fa innaa maseerakum ilan Naar
31. قُلْ لِعِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَا بَيْعٌ فِيهِ وَلَا خِلَالٌ
Qul Li`ibādiya Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Yuqīmū Aş-Şalāata Wa Yunfiqū Mimmā Razaqnāhum Sirrāan Wa `Alāniyatan Min Qabli An Ya’tiya Yawmun  Bay`un Fīhi Wa Lā Khilālun
14:31  Say to My slaves those who believe (to) establish the prayers, and (to) spend from what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, from before [that] comes a Day not any trade in it and not any friendship.
31. Qul li’ibaadiyal lazeena aamanoo yuqeemus Salaata wa yunfiqoo mimmaa razaqnaahum sirranw wa ‘alaaniyatam min qabli any yaatiya Yawmul laa bai’un feehi wa laa khilaal
32. اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَأَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ رِزْقًا لَكُمْ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْفُلْكَ لِتَجْرِيَ فِي الْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْأَنْهَارَ
Al-Lahu Al-Ladhī Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđa Wa ‘Anzala Mina As-Samā’i Mā’an Fa’akhraja Bihi Mina Ath-Thamarāti Rizqāan Lakum Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-Fulka Litajriya  Al-Baĥri Bi’amrihi Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-‘Anhāra
14:32  Allah (is) the One Who created the heavens and the earth, and sent down from the sky water, then brought forth from it of the fruits (as) a provision for you, and subjected for you the ships, so that they may sail in the sea by His command, and subjected for you the rivers.
32. Allaahul lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda wa anzala minas samaaa’i maaa’an faakhraja bihee minas samaraati rizqal lakum wa sakhkhara lakumul fulka litajriya fil bahri bi amrihee wa sakhkhara lakumul anhaar
33. وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ دَائِبَيْنِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ
Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Dā’ibayni Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-Layla Wa An-Nahār
14:33  And He subjected for you the sun and the moon, both constantly pursuing their courses, and subjected for you the night and the day.
33. Wa sakhkhara lakumush shamsa walqamara daaa’ibaini wa sakhkhara lakumul laila wannahaar
34. وَآتَاكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ مَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُ ۚ وَإِنْ تَعُدُّوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَا ۗ إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَظَلُومٌ كَفَّارٌ
Wa ‘Ātākum Min Kulli Sa’altumūhu Wa ‘In Ta`uddū Ni`mata Al-Lahi Tuĥşūhā Inna Al-‘Insāna Lažalūmun Kaffārun
14:34  And He gave you of all what you asked of Him. And if you count (the) Favor (of) Allah not you will (be able to) count them. Indeed, the mankind (is) surely unjust (and) ungrateful.
34. Wa aataakum min kulli maa sa altumooh; wa in ta’uddoo ni’matal laahi laa tuhsoohaa; innal insaana lazaloo mun kaffaar (section 5)
35. وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَٰذَا الْبَلَدَ آمِنًا وَاجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَنْ نَعْبُدَ الْأَصْنَامَ
Wa ‘Idh Qāla Ibrāhīmu Rabbi Aj`al Hādhā Al-BaladaĀmināan Wa Ajnubnī Wa Banīya ‘An Na`buda Al-‘Aşnāma
14:35  And when said Ibrahim, “My Lord! Make this city safe, and keep me away and my sons that we worship the idols.
35. Wa iz qaala Ibraaheemu Rabbij ‘al haazal balada aaminanw wajnubnee wa baniyya an na’budal asnaam
36. رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرًا مِنَ النَّاسِ ۖ فَمَنْ تَبِعَنِي فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي ۖ وَمَنْ عَصَانِي فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
Rabbi Innahunna Ađlalna Kathīrāan Mina An-Nāsi Faman Tabi`anī Fa’innahu Minnī Wa Man `Aşānī Fa’innaka Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
14:36  My Lord! Indeed, they have led astray many among the mankind. So whoever follows me then indeed, he (is) of me, and whoever disobeys me, then indeed, You (are) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
36. Rabbi innahunna adlalna kaseeram minan naasi faman tabi’anee fa innahoo minnee wa man ‘asaanee fa innaka Ghafoorur Raheem
37. رَبَّنَا إِنِّي أَسْكَنْتُ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِي زَرْعٍ عِنْدَ بَيْتِكَ الْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ فَاجْعَلْ أَفْئِدَةً مِنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَارْزُقْهُمْ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ
Rabbanā Innī Askantu Min Dhurrīyatī Biwādin Ghayri Dhī Zar`in `Inda Baytika Al-Muĥarrami Rabbanā Liyuqīmū Aş-Şalāata Fāj`al ‘Af’idatan Mina An-Nāsi Tahwī Ilayhim Wa Arzuqhum Mina Ath-Thamarāti La`allahum Yashkurūna
14:37  Our Lord! Indeed, I [I] have settled (some) of my offsprings in a valley not with cultivation near Your House, Sacred. our Lord! That they may establish the prayers. So make hearts of the men incline towards them, and provide them with the fruits so that they may be grateful.
37. Rabbanaaa inneee askantu min zurriyyatee biwaadin ghairi zee zar’in ‘inda Baitikal Muharrami Rabbanaa liyuqeemus Salaata faj’al af’idatam minan naasi tahweee ilaihim warzuqhum minas samaraati la’allahum yashkuroon
38. رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِي وَمَا نُعْلِنُ ۗ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ
Rabbanā Innaka Ta`lamu Nukhfī Wa Mā Nu`linu Wa Mā Yakhfá `Alá Al-Lahi Min Shay’in  Al-‘Arđi Wa Lā Fī As-Samā’i
14:38  Our Lord! Indeed, You You know what we conceal and what we proclaim. And not (is) hidden from Allah any thing in the earth and not in the heaven.
38. Rabbanaaa innaka ta’lamu maa nukhfee wa maa nu’lin; wa maa yakhfaa ‘alal laahi min shai’in fil ardi wa laa fis samaaa’
39. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي وَهَبَ لِي عَلَى الْكِبَرِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
Al-Ĥamdu Lillahi Al-Ladhī Wahaba `Alá Al-Kibari ‘Ismā`īla Wa ‘IsĥāqaInna Rabbī Lasamī`u Ad-Du`ā’i
14:39  All the Praise (is) for Allah the One Who has granted me in the old age Ismail and Ishaq. Indeed, my Lord (is) All-Hearer (of) the prayer.
39. Alhamdu lillaahil lazee wahaba lee ‘alal kibari Ismaa’eela wa Ishaaq; inna Rabbee lasamee’ud du’aaa
40. رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ
Rabbi Aj`alnī Muqīma Aş-Şalāati Wa Min Dhurrīyatī Rabbanā Wa Taqabbal Du`ā’i
14:40  My Lord! Make me an establisher (of) the prayer, and from my offsprings. Our Lord! and accept my prayer.
40. Rabbij ‘alnee muqeemas Salaati wa min zurriyyatee Rabbanaa wa taqabbal du’aaa’
41. رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Rabbanā Aghfir Wa Liwālidayya Wa Lilmu’uminīna Yawma Yaqūmu Al-Ĥisābu
14:41  Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents and the believers (on) the Day will (be) established the account.
41. Rabbanagh fir lee wa liwaalidaiya wa lilmu’mineena Yawma yaqoomul hisaab (section 6)
42. وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَارُ
Wa Lā Taĥsabanna Al-Laha Ghāfilāan `Ammā Ya`malu Až-ŽālimūnaInnamā Yu’uakhkhiruhum Liyawmin Tashkhaşu Fīhi Al-‘Abşāru
14:42  And (do) not think (that) Allah (is) unaware of what do the wrongdoers. Only He gives them respite to a Day will stare in it the eyes.
42. Wa laa tahsabannal laaha ghaafilan ‘ammaa ya’maluz zaalimoon; innamaa yu’akh khiruhum li Yawmin tashkhasu feehil absaar
43. مُهْطِعِينَ مُقْنِعِي رُءُوسِهِمْ لَا يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَرْفُهُمْ ۖ وَأَفْئِدَتُهُمْ هَوَاءٌ
Muhţi`īna Muqni`ī Ru’ūsihim Yartaddu Ilayhim Ţarfuhum Wa ‘Af’idatuhum Hawā’un
14:43  Racing ahead, raised up their heads, not returning towards them their gaze, and their hearts (are) empty.
43. Muhti’eena muqni’ee ru’oosihim laa yartaddu ilaihim tarfuhum wa af’idatuhum hawaaa’
44. وَأَنْذِرِ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ الْعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا رَبَّنَا أَخِّرْنَا إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ نُجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ الرُّسُلَ ۗ أَوَلَمْ تَكُونُوا أَقْسَمْتُمْ مِنْ قَبْلُ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ زَوَالٍ
Wa ‘Andhiri An-Nāsa Yawma Ya’tīhimu Al-`Adhābu Fayaqūlu Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Rabbanā Akhkhirnā Ilá Ajalin Qarībin Nujib Da`wataka Wa Nattabi`i Ar-RusulaAwalam Takūnū Aqsamtum Min Qablu Lakum Min Zawālin
14:44  And warn the mankind (of) a Day (when) will come to them the punishment, then will say those who did wrong,Our Lord! Respite us for a term short; we will answer Your call and we will follow the Messengers.” “Had not you sworn from before not for you any end?
44. Wa anzirin naasa Yawma yaateehimul ‘azaabu fa yaqoolul lazeena zalamoo Rabbanaaa akhkhirnaaa ilaaa ajalin qareebin nujib da’wataka wa nattabi ‘ir Rusul; awalam takoonooo aqsamtum min qablu maa lakum min zawaal
45. وَسَكَنْتُمْ فِي مَسَاكِنِ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ كَيْفَ فَعَلْنَا بِهِمْ وَضَرَبْنَا لَكُمُ الْأَمْثَالَ
Wa Sakantum Masākini Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Anfusahum Wa Tabayyana Lakum Kayfa Fa`alnā Bihim Wa Đarabnā Lakumu Al-‘Amthāla
14:45  And you dwelt in the dwellings (of) those who wronged themselves, and it had become clear to you how We dealt with them, and We put forth for you the examples.
45. Wa sakantum fee masaakinil lazeena zalamooo anfusahum wa tabaiyana lakum kaifa fa’alnaa bihim wa darabnaa lakumul amsaal
46. وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِنْدَ اللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِنْ كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ الْجِبَالُ
Wa Qad Makarū Makrahum Wa `Inda Al-Lahi Makruhum Wa ‘In Kāna Makruhum Litazūla Minhu Al-Jibālu
14:46  And indeed they planned their plan, but with Allah (was) their plan, even if was their plan that should be moved by it the mountains.
46. Wa qad makaroo makrahum wa ‘indal laahi makruhum wa in kaana makruhum litazoola minhul jibaal
47. فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ مُخْلِفَ وَعْدِهِ رُسُلَهُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ
Falā Taĥsabanna Al-Laha Mukhlifa Wa`dihi Rusulahu Inna Al-Laha `Azīzun Dhū Antiqāmin
14:47  So (do) not think (that) Allah will fail (to) keep His Promise (to) His Messengers. Indeed, Allah (is) All-Mighty, Owner (of) Retribution.
47. Falaa tahsabannal laaha mukhlifa wa’dihee Rusulah; innal laaha ‘azeezun zuntiqaam
48. يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ ۖ وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ
Yawma Tubaddalu Al-‘Arđu Ghayra Al-‘Arđi Wa As-Samāwātu Wa Barazū Lillahi Al-Wāĥidi Al-Qahhāri
14:48  (On the) Day will be changed the earth (to) other (than) the earth, and the heavens, and they will come forth before Allah, the One, the Irresistible.
48. Yawma tubaddalul ardu ghairal ardi wassamaawaatu wa barazoo lillaahil Waahidil Qahhaar
49. وَتَرَى الْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِي الْأَصْفَادِ
Wa Tará Al-Mujrimīna Yawma’idhin Muqarranīna  Al-‘Aşfādi
14:49  And you will see the criminals, (on) that Day bound together in the chains,
49. Wa taral mujrimeena Yawma ‘izim muqarraneena filasfaad
50. سَرَابِيلُهُمْ مِنْ قَطِرَانٍ وَتَغْشَىٰ وُجُوهَهُمُ النَّارُ
Sarābīluhum Min Qaţirānin Wa Taghshá Wujūhahumu An-Nāru
14:50  Their garments of tar, and will cover their faces the Fire.
50. Saraabeeluhum min qatiraaninw wa taghshaa wujoohahumun Naar
51. لِيَجْزِيَ اللَّهُ كُلَّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
Liyajziya Al-Lahu Kulla Nafsin  Kasabat Inna Al-Laha Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi
14:51  So that may recompense Allah each soul (for) what it earned. Indeed, Allah (is) Swift (in) the reckoning.
51. Liyajziyal laahu kulla nafsim maa kasabat; innal laaha saree’ul hisaab
52. هَٰذَا بَلَاغٌ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيُنْذَرُوا بِهِ وَلِيَعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
Hādhā Balāghun Lilnnāsi Wa Liyundharū Bihi Wa Liya`lamū ‘Annamā Huwa Ilahun Wāĥidun Wa LiyadhdhakkaraŪlū Al-‘Albābi
14:52  This (is) a Message for the mankind, that they may be warned with it, and that they may know that only He God (is) One. and that may take heed men (of) understanding.
52. Haaza balaaghul linnaasi wa liyunzaroo bihee wa liya’lamooo annamaa Huwa Illaahunw Waahidunw wa liyaz zakkara ulul albaab (section 7) (End Juz 13)
