16. Surah Nahl part 1

1. أَتَىٰ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
Atá Amru Al-Lahi Falā Tasta`jilūhu Subĥānahu Wa Ta`ālá `Ammā Yushrikūna
16:1  The command of Allah Will come/ is at hand/ has come so do not be impatient/hasten for it. Glorified is He and Exalted is He above what they associate ˹with Him in worship˺!
1. Ataaa amrullaahi falaa tasta’jilooh; Subhaanahoo wa Ta’aalaa ‘ammaa yushrikoon
2. يُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ بِالرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ عَلَىٰ مَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ أَنْ أَنْذِرُوا أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاتَّقُونِ
Yunazzilu Al-Malā’ikata Bir-Rūĥi Min Amrihi `Alá Man Yashā’u Min `Ibādihi An Andhirū Annahu  ‘Ilāha Illā Anā Fa Attaqūni
16:2  He sends down the Angels with the inspiration of His Command, upon whom He wills of His servants, ˹stating˺ that Warn that there is no god except Me, so fear Me/ so be mindful of Me.”
2. Yunazzilul malaaa ‘ikata birroohi min amrihee ‘alaa mai yashaaa’u min ‘ibaadiheee an anzirooo annahoo laaa ilaaha illaaa ana fattaqoon
3. خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ تَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđa Bil-Ĥaqqi Ta`ālá `Ammā Yushrikūna
16:3  He created the heavens and the earth, in truth/ for a purpose. Exalted is He above what they associate ˹in worship˺! 
3. Khalaqas samaawaati wal arda bilhaqq; Ta’aalaa ‘ammaa yushrikoon
4. خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُبِينٌ
Khalaqa Al-‘Insāna Min Nuţfatin Fa’idhā Huwa Khaşīmun Mubīnun
16:4  He created the human kind from a sperm-drop then behold/suddenly/yet, he (i.e., human) is a clear opponent (i.e., disputer).
4. Khalaqal insaana min nutfatin fa izaa huwa khaseemum mubeen
5. وَالْأَنْعَامَ خَلَقَهَا ۗ لَكُمْ فِيهَا دِفْءٌ وَمَنَافِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ
Wa Al-‘An`āma Khalaqahā Lakum Fīhā Dif’un Wa Manāfi`u Wa Minhā Ta’kulūna
16:5  And the cattle, He created them for you, in them is warmth and ˹many other˺ benefits and from them you eat.
5. Wal an ‘amaa khalaqahaa; lakum feehaa dif’unw wa manaafi’u wa minhaa taakuloon
6. وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ
Wa Lakum Fīhā Jamālun Ĥīna Turīĥūna Wa Ĥīna Tasraĥūna
16:6 And for you in them is beauty when you bring them in (i.e., back to home) and when you take them out (i.e., to graze).
6. Wa lakum feehaa jamaalun heena tureehoona wa heena tasrahoon
7. وَتَحْمِلُ أَثْقَالَكُمْ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ لَمْ تَكُونُوا بَالِغِيهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ الْأَنْفُسِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ
Wa TaĥmiluAthqālakum Ilá Baladin Lam Takūnū Bālighīhi Illā Bishiqqi Al-‘AnfusiInna Rabbakum Lara’ūfun Raĥīmun
16:7 And they carry your loads (i.e., things) to a ˹distant˺ land which you could not reach except with great trouble to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord surely is Most Kind, Most Merciful.
7. Wa tahmilu asqaalakum ilaa baladil lam takoonoo baaligheehi illaa bishiqqil anfus; inna Rabbakum la Ra’oofur Raheem
8. وَالْخَيْلَ وَالْبِغَالَ وَالْحَمِيرَ لِتَرْكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةً ۚ وَيَخْلُقُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Al-Khayla Wa Al-Bighāla Wa Al-Ĥamīra Litarkabūhā Wa Zīnatan Wa Yakhluqu Ta`lamūna
16:8  And ˹He also created˺ horses and mules and donkeys for you to ride them and as adornment (i.e., decoration). And He creates what you do not know.
8. Walkhaila wal bighaala wal hameera litarkaboohaa wa zeenah; wa yakhluqu maa laa ta’lamoon
9. وَعَلَى اللَّهِ قَصْدُ السَّبِيلِ وَمِنْهَا جَائِرٌ ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَهَدَاكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Wa `Alá Al-Lahi Qaşdu As-Sabīli Wa Minhā Jā’irun Wa Law Shā’a Lahadākum ‘Ajma`īna
16:9 And upon Allah is the straight way, and among them ˹others ways are˺ crooked/deviant. And if He willed, surely He would have guided you all.
9. Wa ‘alal laahi qasdus sabeeli wa minhaa jaaa’ir; wa law shaaa’a lahadaakum ajma’een (section 1)
10. هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً ۖ لَكُمْ مِنْهُ شَرَابٌ وَمِنْهُ شَجَرٌ فِيهِ تُسِيمُونَ
Huwa Al-Ladhī ‘Anzala Mina As-Samā’i Mā’an Lakum Minhu Sharābun Wa Minhu Shajarun Fīhi Tusīmūna
16:10 He is the One Who sends down water from the sky for you, from which you drink, and from which plants grow in which you graze your cattle.
10. Huwal lazeee anzala minas samaaa’i maaa’al lakum minhu sharaabunw wa minhu shajarun feehi tuseemoon
11. يُنْبِتُ لَكُمْ بِهِ الزَّرْعَ وَالزَّيْتُونَ وَالنَّخِيلَ وَالْأَعْنَابَ وَمِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
Yunbitu Lakum Bihi Az-Zar`a Wa Az-Zaytūna Wa An-Nakhīla Wa Al-‘A`nāba Wa Min Kulli Ath-Thamarāti Inna Fī Dhālika La’āyatan Liqawmin Yatafakkarūna
16:11 With it He produces for you the crops and the olives and the date-palms and the grapes and of every kind of fruits. Indeed, in that surely is a sign for a people who reflect.
11. Yumbitu lakum bihiz zar’a wazzaitoona wanna kheela wal-a’naaba wa min kullis samaraat, inna fee zaalika la Aayatal liqawminy yatafakkaroon
12. وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ وَالنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَاتٌ بِأَمْرِهِ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-Layla Wa An-Nahāra Wa Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Wa An-Nujūmu Musakhkharātun Bi’amrihi Inna  Dhālika La’āyātin Liqawmin Ya`qilūna
16:12  And He has subjected ˹to benefit˺ for you the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. And the stars are/have been subjected by His command. Indeed, in that surely are  signs for a people who understand/ use reason.
12. Wa sakkhkhara lakumul laila wannahaara wash shamsa walqamara wannujoomu musakhkharaatum bi amrih; inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil liqawminy ya’qiloon
13. وَمَا ذَرَأَ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهُ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
Wa Mā Dhara’a Lakum Fī Al-‘Arđi MukhtalifāanAlwānuhu Inna  Dhālika La’āyatan Liqawmin Yadhdhakkarūna
16:13  And ˹He subjected˺ whatever He produced for you in the earth of varying colors. Indeed, in that surely is a sign for a people who remember/ are mindful.
13. Wa maa zara a lakum fil ardi mukhtalifan alwaanuh; inna fee zaalika la Aayatal liqawminy yazakkaroon
14. وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُوا مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Sakhkhara Al-Baĥra Lita’kulū Minhu Laĥmāan Ţarīyāan Wa Tastakhrijū Minhu Ĥilyatan Talbasūnahā Wa Tará Al-Fulka Mawākhira Fīhi Wa Litabtaghū Min Fađlihi Wa La`allakum Tashkurūna
16:14 And He is the One Who subjected the sea for you to eat fresh meat from it and that you bring forth/extract/ bring out ornaments/jewelery from it that you wear them. And you see the ships ploughing/piercing through it, so that you may seek/search of/for His Bounty, and that you may be grateful/thankful.
14. Wa Huwal lazee sakhkharal bahra litaakuloo minhu lahman tariyyanw wa tastakhrijoo minhu hilyatan talbasoonahaa wa taral fulka mawaakhira feehi wa litabtaghoo min fadlihee wa la’allakum tashkuroon
15. وَأَلْقَىٰ فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَنْ تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَأَنْهَارًا وَسُبُلًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
Wa ‘Alqá Fī Al-‘Arđi Rawāsiya An Tamīda Bikum Wa ‘Anhārāan Wa Subulāan Lla`allakum Tahtadūna
16:15 And He has placed in the earth firm mountains, lest/so it does not shake with you, and rivers and roads/ pathways so that you may be guided,
15. Wa alqaa fil ardi rawaasiya an tameeda bikum wa anhaaranw wa sublulal la ‘allakum tahtadoon
16. وَعَلَامَاتٍ ۚ وَبِالنَّجْمِ هُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ
Wa `Alāmātin Wa Bin-Najmi Hum Yahtadūna
16:16  and landmarks. And by the stars they guide themselves/ find their ways.
16. Wa ‘alaamaat; wa bin najmi hum yahtadoon
17. أَفَمَنْ يَخْلُقُ كَمَنْ لَا يَخْلُقُ ۗ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Afaman Yakhluqu Kaman  Yakhluqu Afalā Tadhakkarūna
16:17 Then is He Who creates be like one who does not create? Then will you not remember/ be mindful?
17. Afamany yakhluqu kamallaa yakhluq; afalaa tazak karoon
18. وَإِنْ تَعُدُّوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
Wa ‘In Ta`uddū Ni`mata Al-Lahi Tuĥşūhā Inna Al-Laha Laghafūrun Raĥīmun
16:18  And if you should/tried to count the Favors of Allah you could/would not enumerate/number them. Indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
18. Wa in ta’uddoo ni’matal laahi laa tuhsoohaa; innal laaha la Ghafoorur Raheem
19. وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ
Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu Tusirrūna Wa Mā Tu`linūna
16:19  And Allah knows what you conceal and what you reveal.
19. Wallaahu ya’lamu maa tusirroona wa maa tu’linoon
20. وَالَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ لَا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yad`ūna Min Dūni Al-Lahi Yakhluqūna Shay’āan Wa Hum Yukhlaqūna
16:20  And those whom they invoke/call from besides Allah can not create anything, but they ˹themselves˺ are created.
20. Wallazeena yad’oona min doonil laahi laa yakhluqoona shai’anw wa hum yukhlaqoon
21. أَمْوَاتٌ غَيْرُ أَحْيَاءٍ ۖ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ
Amwātun Ghayru Aĥyā’in Wa Mā Yash`urūna Ayyāna Yub`athūna
16:21 ˹They are˺ dead not alive. And they do not know when they will be resurrected.
21. Amwaatun ghairu ahyaaa’inw wa maa yash’uroona aiyaana yub’asoon (section 2)
22. إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۚ فَالَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ مُنْكِرَةٌ وَهُمْ مُسْتَكْبِرُونَ
Ilahukum Ilahun Wāĥidun Fa-Al-Ladhīna Yu’uminūna Bil-‘Ākhirati Qulūbuhum Munkiratun Wa Hum Mustakbirūna
16:22 Your god is ˹only˺ One God. But those who do not believe in the Hereafter, their hearts refuse/ are in denial, and they are arrogant/ too proud.
22. Illahukum Ilaahunw Waahid; fallazeena laa yu’minoona bil Aakhirati quloobuhum munkiratunw wa hum mustakbiroon
23. لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ
Jarama Anna Al-Laha Ya`lamu Yusirrūna Wa Mā Yu`linūnaInnahu Yuĥibbu Al-Mustakbirīna
16:23 No doubt that Allah knows what they conceal and what they reveal. Indeed, He does not love the arrogant ones/ those who are too proud.
23. Laa jarama annal laaha ya’lamu maa yusirrona wa ma yu’linoon; innahoo laa yuhibbul mustakbireen
24. وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ مَاذَا أَنْزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ ۙ قَالُوا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
Wa ‘Idhā Qīla Lahum Mādhā Anzala Rabbukum Qālū Asāţīru Al-‘Awwalīna
16:24  And when it is said to them, “What has your Lord sent down/ revealed? They say, “Tales/Stories of the ancient.
24. Wa izaa qeela lahum maazaaa anzala Rabbukum qaaloo asaateerul awwaleen
25. لِيَحْمِلُوا أَوْزَارَهُمْ كَامِلَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۙ وَمِنْ أَوْزَارِ الَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ أَلَا سَاءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ
Liyaĥmilū Awzārahum Kāmilatan Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Wa MinAwzāri Al-Ladhīna Yuđillūnahum Bighayri `Ilmin Alā Sā’a Yazirūna
16:25 so that they may bear their own burdens in full on the Day of the Resurrection/Judgment, and of the burdens of those whom they misled without knowledge. Unquestionably, evil is what they will bear.
25. Liyahmilooo awzaarahum kaamilatany Yawmal Qiyaamati wa min awzaaril lazeena yudilloonahum bighairi ‘ilm; alaa saaa’a maa yaziroon (section 3)
26. قَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَى اللَّهُ بُنْيَانَهُمْ مِنَ الْقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّقْفُ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَأَتَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Qad Makara Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Fa’atá Al-Lahu Bunyānahum Mina Al-Qawā`idi Fakharra `Alayhimu As-Saqfu Min Fawqihim Wa ‘Atāhumu Al-`Adhābu Min Ĥaythu Yash`urūna
16:26  Verily, those who were from before them had plotted, but Allah came/struck (i.e., struck) at their building from the foundations, so the roof fell on them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive/expect/realize.
26. Qad makaral lazeena min qablihim fa atal laahu bunyaa nahum minal qawaa’idi fakharra ‘alaihimus saqfu min fawqihim wa ataahumul ‘azaabu min haisu laa yash’uroon
27. ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُخْزِيهِمْ وَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنْتُمْ تُشَاقُّونَ فِيهِمْ ۚ قَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ إِنَّ الْخِزْيَ الْيَوْمَ وَالسُّوءَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
Thumma Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Yukhzīhim Wa YaqūluAyna Shurakā’iya Al-Ladhīna Kuntum Tushāqqūna Fīhim Qāla Al-LadhīnaŪtū Al-`IlmaInna Al-Khizya Al-Yawma Wa As-Sū’a `Alá Al-Kāfirīna
16:27  Then on the Day of the Resurrection/Judgment, He will humiliate them and say,Where are My ˹so-called˺ partners for whom you used to oppose [in them]?” Those who were given the knowledge will say,Indeed, the disgrace/humiliation, this Day and evil are upon the disbelievers

Where are My ˹so-called˺ partners for whom you used to oppose with them?”

Where are My ˹so-called˺ partners for whom you used to oppose [in them]?”
27. Summa Yawmal Qiyaamati yukhzeehim wa yaqoolu aina shurakaaa’iyal lazeena kuntum tushaaaqqoona feehim; qaalal lazeena ootul ‘ilma innal khizyal Yawma wassooo’a ‘alal kaafireen
28. الَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ ۖ فَأَلْقَوُا السَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ مِنْ سُوءٍ ۚ بَلَىٰ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Al-Ladhīna Tatawaffāhumu Al-Malā’ikatu Žālimī Anfusihim Fa’alqaw As-Salama Kunnā Na`malu Min Sū’in Balá Inna Al-Laha `Alīmun Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna
16:28  Those whose souls the Angels take ˹while they are˺ wronging themselves, then they would offer submission, ˹and say˺ “We were not doing any evil.” ˹They will be said/answered/replied˺ But, indeed, Allah is All-Knower of what you used to do.

16:28  Those whose – the Angels take them in death ˹while they are˺ wronging themselves, then they would offer submission, ˹and say˺ “We were not doing any evil.” But, indeed, Allah is All-Knower of what you used to do.
28. Allazeena tatawaf faahu mul malaaa’ikatu zaalimeee anfusihim fa alqawus salama maa kunnaa na’malu min sooo’; balaaa innal laaha ‘aleemum bimaa kuntum ta’maloon
29. فَادْخُلُوا أَبْوَابَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ فَلَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
Fādkhulū Abwāba Jahannama Khālidīna Fīhā Falabi’sa Mathwá Al-Mutakabbirīna
16:29  So enter the gates of Hell to stay forever in it. Surely, evil is the home of the arrogant.
29. Fadkhulooo abwaaba jahannama khaalideena feeha falabi’sa maswal mutakab bireen
30. وَقِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا مَاذَا أَنْزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ ۚ قَالُوا خَيْرًا ۗ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ ۚ وَلَدَارُ الْآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ ۚ وَلَنِعْمَ دَارُ الْمُتَّقِينَ
Wa Qīla Lilladhīna Attaqaw Mādhā Anzala Rabbukum Qālū Khayrāan Lilladhīna Aĥsanū Hadhihi Ad-Dunyā Ĥasanatun Wa Ladāru Al-‘Ākhirati Khayrun Wa Lani`ma Dāru Al-Muttaqīna
16:30  And it will be said to those who fear Allah,What has your Lord sent down?” They will say,Good.” For those who do good in this world is a good, and the home of the Hereafter is better. And surely excellent is the home of the righteous.
30. Wa qeela lillazeenat taqaw maazaaa anzala Rabbukum; qaaloo khairaa; lillazeena ahsanoo fee haazihid dunyaa hasanah; wa la Daarul Aakhirati khair; wa lani’ma daarul muttaqeen

16. Surah Nahl part 2 31-50 ayahs

31. جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۖ لَهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَاءُونَ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْزِي اللَّهُ الْمُتَّقِينَ
Jannātu `Adnin Yadkhulūnahā Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-‘Anhāru Lahum Fīhā Yashā’ūna Kadhālika Yajzī Al-Lahu Al-Muttaqīna
16:31  Gardens of Eden/Eternity which they will enter, from underneath which the rivers flows. For them in it will be whatever they wish/desire. Thus ˹this is how˺ Allah rewards the righteous,

16:31  Gardens (of) Eden which they will enter, flows from underneath them the rivers. For them therein (will be) whatever they wish. Thus rewards Allah the righteous,
31. Jannaatu ‘Adniny yadkhuloonahaa tajree min tahtihal anhaaru lahum feehaa maa yashaaa’oon; kazaalika yajzil laahul muttaqeen
32. الَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ ۙ يَقُولُونَ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Al-Ladhīna Tatawaffāhumu Al-Malā’ikatu Ţayyibīna Yaqūlūna Salāmun `Alaykumu Adkhulū Al-Jannata Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna
16:32 Those whose souls the Angels take ˹while they are˺ good (i.e., righteous and virtuous) saying ˹to them˺, “Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used to do.”

16:32  Those whom take them in death the Angels (when they are) pure saying, “Peace (be) upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used (to) do.”
32. Allazeena tatawaf faahumul malaaa’ikatu taiyibeena yaqooloona salaamun ‘alai kumud khulul Jannata bimaa kuntum ta’maloon
33. هَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
Hal Yanžurūna Illā An Ta’tiyahumu Al-Malā’ikatu Aw Ya’tiya Amru Rabbika Kadhālika Fa`ala Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Wa Mā Žalamahumu Al-Lahu Wa Lakin Kānū Anfusahum Yažlimūna
16:33  Are they waiting except that the Angels should come to them or the Command of your Lord should come? Thus did those who were from before them, And Allah never wronged them but they used to wrong themselves.

16:33  Do they wait except that (should) come to them the Angels or (should) come (the) Command (of) your Lord? Thus did those who (were) from before them, And not wronged them Allah but they were themselves wronging.
33. Hal yanzuroona illaaa an taatiyahumul malaaa’ikatu aw yaatiya amru Rabbik; kazaalika fa’alal lazeena min qablihim; wa maa zalamahumul laahu wa laakin kaanoo anfusahum yazlimoon
34. فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا وَحَاقَ بِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
Fa’aşābahum Sayyi’ātu `Amilū Wa Ĥāqa Bihim  Kānū Bihi Yastahzi’ūn
16:34  Then the evil ˹consequences˺ of what they did struck them, and what they used to mock of it surrounded them.
34. Fa asaabahum saiyi aatu maa ‘amiloo wa haaqa bihim maa kaano bihee yastahzi’oon (section 4)
35. وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا لَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا عَبَدْنَا مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ نَحْنُ وَلَا آبَاؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمْنَا مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ فَهَلْ عَلَى الرُّسُلِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ
Wa Qāla Al-LadhīnaAshrakū Law Shā’a Al-Lahu `Abadnā Min Dūnihi Min Shay’in Naĥnu Wa Lā ‘Ābā’uunā Wa Lā Ĥarramnā Min Dūnihi Min Shay’in Kadhālika Fa`ala Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Fahal `Alá Ar-Rusuli Illā Al-Balāghu Al-Mubīnu
16:35 And those who associate partners ˹with Allah˺ said, “If Allah had willed we would not have worshipped any thing from other than Him, we and nor our forefathers and nor we would have forbidden any thing from other than Him.” Thus did those who were from before them, Then is there on/upon the messengers except to deliver/communicate ˹the message˺ clearly?

Then is there on the messengers except the ˹duty to˺ deliver/communicate ˹the message˺ clearly?

35. Wa qaalal lazeena ashrakoo law shaaa’al laahu ma ‘abadnaa min doonihee min shai’in nahnu wa laaa aabaaa’unaa wa laa harramnaa min doonihee min shai’; kazaalika fa’alal lazeena min qablihim fahal ‘alar Rusuli illal balaaghul mubeen
36. وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَسُولًا أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ هَدَى اللَّهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الضَّلَالَةُ ۚ فَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Wa Laqad Ba`athnā Kulli Ummatin Rasūlāan Ani Au`budū Al-Laha Wa Ajtanibū Aţ-Ţāghūta Faminhum Man Hadá Al-Lahu Wa Minhum Man Ĥaqqat `Alayhi Ađ-Đalālatu Fasīrū  Al-‘Arđi Fānžurū Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Mukadhdhibīna
16:36  And certainly, We sent a Messenger into every nation, ˹saying˺ that, “Worship Allah, and avoid the false gods.Then among them were some whom Allah guided, and among them were some who deserved the straying/misguidance on them. So travel in the earth and see how was the end of the deniers.

and among them were some who deserved the straying on them.

and among them were some whom the straying was justified on them.

16:36  And certainly, We sent into every nation a Messenger, that, “Worship Allah, and avoid the false deities.Then among them (were some) whom guided, Allah and among them (were) some was justified on them the straying. So travel in the earth and see how was the end (of) the deniers.
36. Wa laqad ba’asnaa fee kulli ummatir Rasoolan ani’budul laaha wajtanibut Taaghoota faminhum man hadal laahu wa minhum man haqqat ‘alaihid dalaalah; faseeroo fil ardi fanzuroo kaifa kaana ‘aaqibatul mukazzibeen
37. إِنْ تَحْرِصْ عَلَىٰ هُدَاهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي مَنْ يُضِلُّ ۖ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ
In Taĥriş `Alá Hudāhum Fa’inna Al-Laha Yahdī Man Yuđillu Wa Mā Lahum Min Nāşirīna
16:37 Even if you ˹O Prophet˺ desire/strive/ may be eager to guide them, then indeed, Allah will not guide whom He leaves to stray, and nor will they have any helpers.

37. In tahris ‘alaa hudaahum fa innal laaha laa yahdee mai yudillu wa maa lahum min naasireen
38. وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ ۙ لَا يَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَمُوتُ ۚ بَلَىٰ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa ‘Aqsamū Bil-Lahi Jahda Aymānihim Yab`athu Al-Lahu Man Yamūtu Balá Wa`dāan `Alayhi Ĥaqqāan Wa LakinnaAkthara An-Nāsi Ya`lamūna
16:38 And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths, that Allah will not resurrect/raise one who dies. Yes ˹He will˺, it is a true promise ˹binding˺ upon Him, but most of the humankind do not know.

38. Wa aqsamoo billaahi jahda aimaanihim laa yab’asul laahu mai yamoot; balaa wa’dan ‘alaihi haqqanw wa laakinna aksaran naasi laa ya’lamoon
39. لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ الَّذِي يَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا كَاذِبِينَ
Liyubayyina Lahumu Al-Ladhī Yakhtalifūna Fīhi Wa Liya`lama Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Annahum Kānū Kādhibīna
16:39  ˹He will do that˺ to make clear to them that which/what they disagreed about it, and so that those who disbelieved may know that they were liars.

16:39  That He will make clear to them that they differ wherein, and that may know those who disbelieved that they were liars.
39. Liyubaiyina lahumul lazee yakhtalifoona feehi wa liya’lamal lazeena kafarooo annahum kaanoo kaazibeen
40. إِنَّمَا قَوْلُنَا لِشَيْءٍ إِذَا أَرَدْنَاهُ أَنْ نَقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ
Innamā Qawlunā Lishay’in Idhā Aradnāhu An Naqūla Lahu Kun Fayakūnu
16:40 Our Word When we intend it to a thing is that We only say to it, Be and it is (i.e., it becomes).

40. Innamaa qawlunaa lishay’in izaa aradnaahu an naqoola lahoo kun fa yakoon (section 5)
41. وَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا فِي اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً ۖ وَلَأَجْرُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Hājarū Fī Al-Lahi Min Ba`di Žulimū Lanubawwi’annahum Fī Ad-Dunyā Ĥasanatan Wa La’ajru Al-‘ĀkhiratiAkbaru Law Kānū Ya`lamūna
16:41 And those who emigrated in ˹the cause of˺ Allah from after what they were wronged, surely We will give them good position/place/ in the world, but surely the reward of the Hereafter is greater, if they know.
41. Wallazeena haajaroo fil laahi mim ba’di maa zulimoo lanubawwi’ annahum fiddunyaa hasanatanw wa la ajrul Aakhirati akbar; law kaanoo ya’lamoon
42. الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
Al-Ladhīna Şabarū Wa `Alá Rabbihim Yatawakkalūna
16:42 ˹It is˺ those who are patient and on their Lord they put their trust.
42. Allazeena sabaroo wa ‘alaa Rabbihim yatawak kaloon
43. وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Mā Arsalnā Min Qablika Illā Rijālāan Nūĥī Ilayhim Fās’alū Ahla Adh-Dhikri ‘In Kuntum Ta`lamūna
16:43  And We did not sent ˹messengers˺ from before you ˹O Prophet˺ except men to them We revealed ˹Our message˺, so ask the people of the Reminder if you do not know.

43. Wa maaa arsalnaa min qablika illaa rijaalan nooheee ilaihim; fas’alooo ahlaz zikri in kuntum laa ta’lamoon
44. بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ ۗ وَأَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
Bil-Bayyināti Wa Az-Zuburi Wa ‘Anzalnā ‘Ilayka Adh-Dhikra Litubayyina Lilnnāsi Nuzzila Ilayhim Wa La`allahum Yatafakkarūna
16:44 ˹We sent them˺ with the clear proofs and the Books. And We sent down/revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Reminder, so that you make clear/explain to the humankind, what has been sent down to them and that they may reflect/think/ give thought.
44. Bilbaiyinaati waz Zubur; wa anzalnaaa ilaikaz Zikra litubaiyina linnaasi maa nuzzila ilaihim wa la’allahum yatafakkaroon
45. أَفَأَمِنَ الَّذِينَ مَكَرُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ أَنْ يَخْسِفَ اللَّهُ بِهِمُ الْأَرْضَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
‘Afa’amina Al-Ladhīna Makarū As-Sayyi’āti An Yakhsifa Al-Lahu Bihimu Al-‘ArđaAw Ya’tiyahumu Al-`Adhābu Min Ĥaythu Yash`urūna
16:45 Do then those who plotted/plot the evil deeds feel secure that Allah will ˹not˺ cause the earth to swallow them up or the punishment will ˹not˺ come to them from where they do not comprehend?

16:45  Do then feel secure those who plotted the evil deeds that will cave Allah with them the earth or the punishment will come not to them from where they perceive?
45. Afa aminal lazeena makarus saiyi aati ai yakhsifal laahu bihimul arda aw yaaa tiyahumul ‘azaabu min haisu laa yash’uroon
46. أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ فِي تَقَلُّبِهِمْ فَمَا هُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ
‘Aw Ya’khudhahum Taqallubihim Famā Hum Bimu`jizīna
16:46  Or that He will ˹not˺ grab them in their going to and from / their going and coming/ the middle of their going on and about/ the middle of their comings and goings then they will not be able to escape?
46. Aw yaakhuzahum fee taqallubihim famaa hum bi mu’jizeen
47. أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ عَلَىٰ تَخَوُّفٍ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ
‘Aw Ya’khudhahum `Alá Takhawwufin Fa’inna Rabbakum Lara’ūfun Raĥīmun
16:47  Or that He will ˹not˺ grab them in a state of fear. But indeed, your Lord is surely Full of Kindness, Most Merciful.

47. Aw yaakhuzahum ‘alaa takhawwuf; fa inna Rabbakum la Ra’oofur Raheem
48. أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَىٰ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ يَتَفَيَّأُ ظِلَالُهُ عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَالشَّمَائِلِ سُجَّدًا لِلَّهِ وَهُمْ دَاخِرُونَ
Awalam Yaraw Ilá Mā Khalaqa Al-Lahu Min Shay’in Yatafayya’u Žilāluhu `Ani Al-Yamīni Wa Ash-Shamā’ili Sujjadāan Lillahi Wa Hum Dākhirūna
16:48  Have they not seen towards what Allah has created among things, their shadows incline to the right and to the left, prostrating to Allah while they are humble?

48. Awa lam yaraw ilaa maa khalaqal laahu min shai’iny-yatafaiya’u zilaaluhoo ‘anil yameeni washshamaaa’ ili sujjadal lillaahi wa hum daakhiroon
49. وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مِنْ دَابَّةٍ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
Wa Lillahi Yasjudu  As-Samāwāti Wa Mā  Al-‘Arđi Min Dābbatin Wa Al-Malā’ikatu Wa Hum Yastakbirūna
16:49  And to Allah prostrate/bows down ˹in submission˺ whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth of moving creatures and the Angels, and they are not arrogant/ too proud.
49. Wa lillaahi yasjudu maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi min daaabbatinw walma laaa’ikatu wa hum laa yastakbiroon
50. يَخَافُونَ رَبَّهُمْ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ ۩
Yakhāfūna Rabbahum Min Fawqihim Wa Yaf`alūna Yu’umarūna
16:50  They fear their Lord from above them, and they do what they are commanded.
50. yakhaafoona Rabbahum min fawqihim wa yaf’aloona maa yu’maroon (section 6) (make sajda)

16. Surah Nahl part 3 51 to 70 ayahs

51. وَقَالَ اللَّهُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا إِلَٰهَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ ۖ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ فَإِيَّايَ فَارْهَبُونِ
Wa Qāla Al-Lahu Tattakhidhū Ilahayni Athnayni Innamā Huwa Ilahun Wāĥidun Fa’īyāya Fārhabūni
16:51 And Allah has said, “Do not take two gods, He is only One God, so fear only Me ˹alone˺.”
51. Wa qaalal laahu laa tatta khizooo ilaahainis naini innamaa Huwa Ilaahunw Waahid; fa iyyaaya farhaboon
52. وَلَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ الدِّينُ وَاصِبًا ۚ أَفَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ تَتَّقُونَ
Wa Lahu Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđi Wa Lahu Ad-Dīnu Wa AşibāanAfaghayra Al-Lahi Tattaqūna
16:52  And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth and to Him ˹alone˺ is the everlasting worship/religion. Then is it other than Allah you fear?
52. Wa lahoo maa fis samaawaati wal ardi wa lahud deenu waasibaa; afaghairal laahi tattaqoon
53. وَمَا بِكُمْ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنَ اللَّهِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِذَا مَسَّكُمُ الضُّرُّ فَإِلَيْهِ تَجْأَرُونَ
Wa Mā Bikum Min Ni`matin Famina Al-Lahi Thumma Idhā Massakumu Ađ-Đurru Fa’ilayhi Taj’arūna
16:53  And whatever of blessing you have is from Allah. Then when the hardship touches you,then to Him ˹alone˺ you cry ˹for help˺. 
53. Wa maa bikum minni’matin faminal laahi summa izaa massakumud durru fa ilaihi taj’aroon
54. ثُمَّ إِذَا كَشَفَ الضُّرَّ عَنْكُمْ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِنْكُمْ بِرَبِّهِمْ يُشْرِكُونَ
Thumma Idhā Kashafa Ađ-Đurra `Ankum Idhā Farīqun Minkum Birabbihim Yushrikūna
16:54 Then when He removes the hardship from you, Then! A group of you associate others/partners with their Lord ˹in worship˺, 
54. Summaa izaa kashafad durra ‘ankum izaa fareequm minkum bi Rabbihim yushrikoon
55. لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ ۚ فَتَمَتَّعُوا ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
Liyakfurū Bimā Ātaynāhum Fatamatta`ū Fasawfa Ta`lamūna
16:55  So as to deny/ So let them deny that which (i.e., blessing) We have given them. Then enjoy yourselves, for soon you will know.
55. Liyakfuroo bimaa aatainaahum; fatamatta’oo, fasawfa ta’lamoon
56. وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ نَصِيبًا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ ۗ تَاللَّهِ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنْتُمْ تَفْتَرُونَ
Wa Yaj`alūna Limā Ya`lamūna Naşībāan Mimmā Razaqnāhum Ta-Allāhi Latus’alunna `Ammā Kuntum Taftarūna
16:56 And they assign to ˹idols˺ what they do not knowa portion of what We have provided them. By Allah surely you will be asked about what ˹lies˺ you used to invent/fabricate ˹against Allah˺.
56. Wa yaj’aloona limaa laa ya’lamoona naseebam mimmaa razaqnnaahum; tallaahi latus’alunaa ‘ammaa kuntum taftaroon
57. وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ الْبَنَاتِ سُبْحَانَهُ ۙ وَلَهُمْ مَا يَشْتَهُونَ
Wa Yaj`alūna Lillahi Al-Banāti Subĥānahu Wa Lahum  Yashtahūna
16:57  And they assign/attribute daughters to Allah. Glory be to Him! and for them/themselves ˹they choose/assign/prefer˺ what they desire.

57. Wa yaj’aloona lillaahil banaati Subhaanahoo wa lahum maa yashtahoon
58. وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُمْ بِالْأُنْثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
Wa ‘Idhā Bushshira Aĥaduhum Bil-‘Unthá Žalla Wajhuhu Muswaddāan Wa Huwa Kažīmun
16:58 And when one of them is given the good news of a female/baby girl, his face turns dark and he suppresses his rage/ grief/ anger.
58. Wa izaa bushshira ahaduhum bil unsaa zalla wajhuhoo muswaddanw wa huwa kazeem
59. يَتَوَارَىٰ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ مِنْ سُوءِ مَا بُشِّرَ بِهِ ۚ أَيُمْسِكُهُ عَلَىٰ هُونٍ أَمْ يَدُسُّهُ فِي التُّرَابِ ۗ أَلَا سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ
Yatawārá Mina Al-Qawmi Min Sū’i Bushshira Bihi Ayumsikuhu `Alá Hūnin Am Yadussuhu Fī At-Turābi Alā Sā’a Yaĥkumūna
16:59 He hides himself from the people because/out of the evil/evilness of what good news (i.e., birth of baby girl) he has been given about. Should he keep it/her (i.e., baby girl) in humiliation or bury it/her (i.e., baby girl) ˹alive˺ in the dust? Unquestionably, evil is what they judge.

59. yatawaaraa minal qawmimin sooo’i maa bushshira bih; a-yumsikuhoo ‘alaa hoonin am yadussuhoo fit turaab; alaa saaa’a maa yahkumoon
60. لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ مَثَلُ السَّوْءِ ۖ وَلِلَّهِ الْمَثَلُ الْأَعْلَىٰ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Lilladhīna Yu’uminūna Bil-‘Ākhirati Mathalu As-Saw’i Wa Lillahi Al-Mathalu Al-‘A`lá Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu
16:60 For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is an evil example, and for Allah is the Highest example/attribute. And He is the All-Mighty, All-Wise.
60. Lillazeena laa yu’minoona bil Aakhirati masalus saw’i wa lillaahil masalul a’laa; wa Huwal ‘Azeezul Hakeem (section 7)
61. وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِمْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ وَلَٰكِنْ يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ
Wa Law Yu’uākhidhu Al-Lahu An-Nāsa Bižulmihim  Taraka `Alayhā Min Dābbatin Wa Lakin Yu’uakhkhiruhum Ilá Ajalin Musammáan Fa’idhā Jā’a ‘Ajaluhum Yasta’khirūna Sā`atan Wa Lā Yastaqdimūna
16:61 And if Allah were to grab/punish the mankind ˹immediately˺ for their wrongdoing, He would not have left any moving/living creature upon it (i.e., earth), but He defers/delays them for an appointed term. Then when their terms/time comes they will not remain behind an hour and nor can they advance it.
61. Wa law yu’aakhizul laahun naasa bizulminhim maa taraka ‘alaihaa min daaabbatinw wa laakiny yu’akhkhiruhum ilaaa ajalim musamman fa izaa jaaa’a ajaluhum laa yastaakhiroona saa’atanw wa laa yastaqdimoon
62. وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ مَا يَكْرَهُونَ وَتَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُهُمُ الْكَذِبَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ الْحُسْنَىٰ ۖ لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ النَّارَ وَأَنَّهُمْ مُفْرَطُونَ
Wa Yaj`alūna Lillahi Yakrahūna Wa TaşifuAlsinatuhumu Al-KadhibaAnna Lahumu Al-Ĥusná Jarama Anna Lahumu An-Nāra Wa ‘Annahum Mufraţūna
16:62  And they attribute to Allah what they dislike/hate ˹for themselves˺ and their tongues assert/utter the lie that for them is the best ˹reward˺. No doubt that for them is the Fire and that they will be abandoned/left there neglected.
62. Wa yaj’aloona lillaahi maa yakrahoona wa tasifu alsinatuhumul kaziba anna lahumul husnaa laa jarama anna lahumun Naara wa annahum mufratoon
63. تَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَىٰ أُمَمٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Ta-Allāhi Laqad Arsalnā Ilá Umamin Min Qablika Fazayyana Lahumu Ash-Shayţānu ‘A`mālahum Fahuwa Walīyuhumu Al-Yawma Wa Lahum `Adhābun Alīmun
16:63  By Allah, We have certainly sent ˹messengers˺ to nations from before you ˹O Prophet˺, but the Satan made their deeds fair-seeming/ appealing/ attractive to them. So he is their ally/patron (i.e., ally) today, and for them is a painful punishment.
63. Tallaahi laqad arsalnaaa ilaaa umamim min qablika fazayyana lahumush Shaitaanu a’maalahum fahuwa waliyyuhumul yawma wa lahum ‘azaabun aleem
64. وَمَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا لِتُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ الَّذِي اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ ۙ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa Mā ‘Anzalnā `Alayka Al-KitābaIllā Litubayyina Lahumu Al-Ladhī Akhtalafū Fīhi Wa Hudáan Wa Raĥmatan Liqawmin Yu’uminūna
16:64 And We did not revealed to you the Book except that you make clear/ to make clear to them that which they differed about it, and as a guidance and mercy for a people who believe.
64. Wa maaa anzalnaa ‘alaikal Kitaaba illaa litubaiyina lahumul lazikh talafoo feehi wa hudanw wa rahmatal liqawminy yu’minoon
65. وَاللَّهُ أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ
Wa AllāhuAnzala Mina As-Samā’i Mā’an Fa’aĥyā Bihi Al-‘Arđa Ba`da Mawtihā Inna Fī Dhālika La’āyatan Liqawmin Yasma`ūna
16:65 And Allah sends down water from the sky, then by it gives life to the earth after its death. Indeed, in that is surely a Sign for a people/ people who listen.
65. Wallaahu anzala minas samaaa’i maaa’an fa ahyaa bihil arda ba’da mawtihaa; inna fee zaalika la aayatal liqaw miny yasma’oon (section 8)
66. وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَنْعَامِ لَعِبْرَةً ۖ نُسْقِيكُمْ مِمَّا فِي بُطُونِهِ مِنْ بَيْنِ فَرْثٍ وَدَمٍ لَبَنًا خَالِصًا سَائِغًا لِلشَّارِبِينَ
Wa ‘Inna Lakum Fī Al-‘An`ām La`ibratan Nusqīkum Mimmā Buţūnihi Min Bayni Farthin Wa Damin Labanāan Khālişāan Sā’ighāan Lilshshāribīna
16:66 And indeed, for you is a lesson in the cattle. We give you to drink of what is in their bellies, from between bowels and blood: pure milk, palatable to the drinkers.

66. Wa inna lakum fil an’aami la’ibrah; nusqeekum mimmmaa fee butoonihee mim baini farsinw wa damil labanann khaalisan saaa’ighallish shaaribeen
67. وَمِنْ ثَمَرَاتِ النَّخِيلِ وَالْأَعْنَابِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْهُ سَكَرًا وَرِزْقًا حَسَنًا ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
Wa Min Thamarāti An-Nakhīli Wa Al-‘A`nābi Tattakhidhūna Minhu Sakarāan Wa Rizqāan Ĥasanāan Inna Fī Dhālika La’āyatan Liqawmin Ya`qilūna
16:67  And from the fruits of the date-palm, and the grapes, you take/derive from it intoxicant and a good provision. Indeed, in that is surely a Sign for a people who use reason/understand.
67. Wa min samaraatin nakheeli wal a’nnaabi tattakhizoona minhu sakaranw wa rizqann hasanaa; inna fee zaalika la Aayatal liqawminy ya’qiloon
68. وَأَوْحَىٰ رَبُّكَ إِلَى النَّحْلِ أَنِ اتَّخِذِي مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا وَمِنَ الشَّجَرِ وَمِمَّا يَعْرِشُونَ
Wa ‘Awĥá Rabbuka Ilá An-Naĥli Ani Attakhidhī Mina Al-Jibāli Buyūtāan Wa Mina Ash-Shajari Wa Mimmā Ya`rishūna
16:68 And your Lord inspired to the bee, that Take ˹up your˺ houses/homes among the mountains, and among the trees, and in what they (i.e., people) construct.
68. Wa awhaa Rabbuka ilan-nahli anit takhizee minal jibaali buyootanw wa minash shajari wa mimmaa ya’rishoon
69. ثُمَّ كُلِي مِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ فَاسْلُكِي سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًا ۚ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ فِيهِ شِفَاءٌ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
Thumma Kulī Min Kulli Ath-Thamarāti Fāslukī Subula Rabbiki Dhululāan Yakhruju Min Buţūnihā Sharābun Mukhtalifun Alwānuhu Fīhi Shifā’un Lilnnāsi Inna Fī Dhālika La’āyatan Liqawmin Yatafakkarūna
16:69  Then eat from all ˹the flower of˺ the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord made smooth. From their (i.e., bees) bellies comes forth a drink of varying colors, in it is a healing for the humankind. Indeed, in that is surely a Sign for a people who reflect.
69. Summma kulee min kullis samaraati faslukee subula Rabbiki zululaa; yakhruju mim butoonihaa sharaabum mukh talifun alwaanuhoo feehi shifaaa’ul linnaas, innna fee zaalika la Aayatal liqawminy yatafakkaroon
70. وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ ۚ وَمِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰ أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ لِكَيْ لَا يَعْلَمَ بَعْدَ عِلْمٍ شَيْئًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ
Wa Allāhu Khalaqakum Thumma Yatawaffākum Wa Minkum Man Yuraddu Ilá Ardhali Al-`Umuri Likay Ya`lama Ba`da `Ilmin Shay’āanInna Al-Laha `Alīmun Qadīrun
16:70 And Allah created you, then will cause you to die. And among you are some who is sent back to the weakest state of old age, so that he will not know a thing after having knowledge. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.

16. Surah Nahl part 4 71 to 90 ayah

71. وَاللَّهُ فَضَّلَ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فِي الرِّزْقِ ۚ فَمَا الَّذِينَ فُضِّلُوا بِرَادِّي رِزْقِهِمْ عَلَىٰ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِيهِ سَوَاءٌ ۚ أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ
Wa Allāhu Fađđala Ba`đakum `Alá Ba`đin Fī Ar-Rizqi Famā Al-Ladhīna Fuđđilū Birāddī Rizqihim `Alá Malakat Aymānuhum Fahum Fīhi Sawā’un Afabini`mati Al-Lahi Yajĥadūna
16:71  And Allah has favored some of you over others in provision. But those who were favored would not hand over/share/give back their provision to ˹bondspeople˺ whom their right hands possess, so that they are equal in it. Then is it the Favor of Allah they reject?
71. Wallaahu faddala ba’dakum ‘alaa ba’din fir rizq; famal lazeena fuddiloo biraaaddee rizqihim ‘alaa maa malakat aimaanuhum fahum feehi sawaaa’; afabini’matil laahi yajhadoon
72. وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ بَنِينَ وَحَفَدَةً وَرَزَقَكُمْ مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ ۚ أَفَبِالْبَاطِلِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَبِنِعْمَتِ اللَّهِ هُمْ يَكْفُرُونَ
Wa Allāhu Ja`ala Lakum Min Anfusikum Azwājāan Wa Ja`ala Lakum Min Azwājikum Banīna Wa Ĥafadatan Wa Razaqakum Mina Aţ-ŢayyibātiAfabiālbāţili Yu’uminūna Wa Bini`mati Al-Lahi Hum Yakfurūna
16:72 And Allah has made spouses for you from yourselves (i.e., of you own kind), and has made for you from your spouses sons and grandsons and has provided for you from the good things. Do they then believe in falsehood, and they disbelieve in the Favor of Allah?
72. Wallaahu ja’ala lakum min anfusikum azwaajanw wa ja’ala lakum min azwaajikum baneena wa hafadatanw wa razaqakum minat taiyibaat; afabil baatili yu’minoona wa bini’matil laahi hum yakkfuroon
73. وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ رِزْقًا مِنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
Wa Ya`budūna Min Dūni Al-Lahi Yamliku Lahum Rizqāan Mina As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđi Shay’āan Wa Lā Yastaţī`ūna
16:73  And they worship from other than/besides Allah ˹idols˺ which do not possesses provision of anything for them from the heavens and the earth, and nor are they able ˹to do so˺.
73. Wa ya’budoona min doonil laahi maa laa yamliku lahum rizqam minas samaawaati wal ardi shai’anw wa laa yastatee’oon
74. فَلَا تَضْرِبُوا لِلَّهِ الْأَمْثَالَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Falā Tađribū Lillahi Al-‘AmthālaInna Al-Laha Ya`lamu Wa ‘Antum Ta`lamūna
16:74  So do not put forth/give the examples for Allah. Indeed, Allah knows and you do not know.
74. Falaa tadriboo lillaahil amsaal; innal laaha ya’lamu wa antum laa ta’lamoon
75. ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا عَبْدًا مَمْلُوكًا لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ وَمَنْ رَزَقْنَاهُ مِنَّا رِزْقًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ يُنْفِقُ مِنْهُ سِرًّا وَجَهْرًا ۖ هَلْ يَسْتَوُونَ ۚ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Đaraba Al-Lahu Mathalāan `Abdāan Mamlūkāan  Yaqdiru `Alá Shay’in Wa Man Razaqnāhu Minnā Rizqāan Ĥasanāan Fahuwa Yunfiqu Minhu Sirrāan Wa Jahrāan Hal Yastawūna Al-Ĥamdu Lillahi Bal Aktharuhum Ya`lamūna
16:75 Allah sets forth/gives the example of a slave who is owned, he has no power on anything and ˹another man˺ whom We have provided him from Us a good provision, so he spends from it, secretly and publicly. Can they (i.e., slave vs free man/ both) be equal? Praise is for Allah! But, but most of them do not know.
75. Darabal laahu masalan ‘abdam mammlookal laa yaqdiru ‘alaa shai’inw wa marrazaqnaahu mminnaa rizqan hasanan fahuwa yunfiqu minhu sirranw wa jahra; hal yasta-woon; alhamdu lillaah; bal aksaruhum laa ya’lamoon
76. وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا رَجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَبْكَمُ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَىٰ مَوْلَاهُ أَيْنَمَا يُوَجِّهْهُ لَا يَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ ۖ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي هُوَ وَمَنْ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ ۙ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
Wa Đaraba Al-Lahu Mathalāan Rajulayni Aĥaduhumā Abkamu Yaqdiru `Alá Shay’in Wa Huwa Kallun `Alá Mawlāhu Aynamā Yuwajjhhhu Ya’ti Bikhayrin Hal Yastawī Huwa Wa Man Ya’muru Bil-`Adli Wa Huwa `Alá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
16:76 And Allah sets forth/gives an example of two men, one of them is dumb, he has no power on anything, and he is a burden on his master. Wherever he directs/sent him he brings no good. Is he equal  to the one who commands justice, and he is on a straight path?
76. Wa darabal laahu masalar rajulaini ahaduhumaaa abkamu laa yaqdiru ‘alaa shai’inw wa huwa kallun ‘alaa mawlaahu ainamaa yuwajjihhu laa yaati bikhairin hal yastawee huwa wa many-yaamuru bil’adli wa huwa ‘alaa Siraatim Mustaqeem (section 10)
77. وَلِلَّهِ غَيْبُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَا أَمْرُ السَّاعَةِ إِلَّا كَلَمْحِ الْبَصَرِ أَوْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Wa Lillahi Ghaybu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđi Wa Mā Amru As-Sā`ati Illā Kalamĥi Al-BaşariAw Huwa Aqrabu Inna Al-Laha `Alá Kulli Shay’in Qadīrun
16:77  And to Allah ˹belongs the knowledge of˺ the unseen of the heavens and the earth. And the command for the Hour is not but as a blinking of the eye or it is nearer. Indeed, Allah on every thing is All-Powerful.
77. Wa lillaahi ghaibus samaawaati wal ard; wa maaa amrus Saa’ati illaa kalamhil basari aw huwa aqrab; innal laaha ‘alaaa kulli shai’in Qadeer
78. وَاللَّهُ أَخْرَجَكُمْ مِنْ بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ ۙ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
Wa AllāhuAkhrajakum Min Buţūni Ummahātikum Ta`lamūna Shay’āan Wa Ja`ala Lakumu As-Sam`a Wa Al-‘Abşāra Wa Al-‘Af’idata La`allakum Tashkurūna
16:78  And Allah brought you out of the wombs of your mothers, ˹you˺ not knowing anything, and made for you the hearing and the sight and the hearts/minds/ intellect so that you may give thanks/be thankful.
78. Wallaahu akhrajakum mim butooni ummahaatikum laa ta’lamoona shai’anw wa ja’ala lakumus sam’a wal absaara wal af’idata la’allakum tashkuroon
79. أَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الطَّيْرِ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ فِي جَوِّ السَّمَاءِ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Alam Yaraw Ilá Aţ-Ţayri Musakhkharātin Fī Jawwi As-Samā’i Yumsikuhunna Illā Al-Lahu ‘Inna Fī Dhālika La’āyātin Liqawmin Yu’uminūna
16:79  Do they not see towards the birds controlled in the midst of the sky? None holds them up except Allah. Indeed, in that are Signs for a people who believe.
79. Alam yaraw ilat tairi musakhkharaatin fee jawwis samaaa’i maa yumsikuhunna illal laah; inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil liqawminy yu’minoon
80. وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ بُيُوتِكُمْ سَكَنًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ جُلُودِ الْأَنْعَامِ بُيُوتًا تَسْتَخِفُّونَهَا يَوْمَ ظَعْنِكُمْ وَيَوْمَ إِقَامَتِكُمْ ۙ وَمِنْ أَصْوَافِهَا وَأَوْبَارِهَا وَأَشْعَارِهَا أَثَاثًا وَمَتَاعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
Wa Allāhu Ja`ala Lakum Min Buyūtikum Sakanāan Wa Ja`ala Lakum Min Julūdi Al-‘An`āmi Buyūtāan Tastakhiffūnahā Yawma Ža`nikum Wa YawmaIqāmatikum Wa MinAşwāfihā Wa ‘Awbārihā Wa ‘Ash`ārihā ‘Athāthāan Wa Matā`āanIlá Ĥīnin
16:80  And Allah has made for you of your homes a resting place, and made for you tents from the hides of the cattle, which you find light on the day of your travel and the day of your camp; and from their wool and their fur and their hair is furnishing and a provision for a time.
80. Wallaahu ja’ala lakum mim buyootikum sakananw wa ja’ala lakum min juloodil an’aami buyootan tastakhif foonahaa yawma za’nikum wa yawma iqaamatikum wa min aswaafihaa wa awbaarihaa wa ash’aarihaaa asaasanw wa mataa’an ilaa heen
81. وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَالًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ أَكْنَانًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ سَرَابِيلَ تَقِيكُمُ الْحَرَّ وَسَرَابِيلَ تَقِيكُمْ بَأْسَكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْلِمُونَ
Wa Allāhu Ja`ala Lakum Mimmā Khalaqa Žilālāan Wa Ja`ala Lakum Mina Al-Jibāli Aknānāan Wa Ja`ala Lakum Sarābīla Taqīkumu Al-Ĥarra Wa Sarābīla Taqīkum Ba’sakum Kadhālika Yutimmu Ni`matahu `Alaykum La`allakum Tuslimūna
16:81 And Allah has made for you shades of what He created, and has made for you shelters from the mountains, and has made for you garments to protect you from the heat and garments to protect you from your ˹enemy in˺ battle. Thus He completes His Favor upon you so that you may submit.
81. Wallaahu ja’ala lakum mimmaa khalaqa zilaalanw wa ja’ala lakum minal jibaali aknaananw wa ja’ala lakum saraabeela taqeekumul harra wa saraabeela taqeekum baasakum; kazaalika yutimmu ni’matahoo alaikum la’allakum tuslimoon
82. فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ
Fa’in Tawallaw Fa’innamā `Alayka Al-Balāghu Al-Mubīnu
16:82  Then, if they turn away, then upon you ˹O Prophet˺ is only ˹the duty to˺ deliver/communicate ˹the message˺ clearly.

82. Fa in tawallaw fa innamaa ‘alaikal balaaghul mubeen
83. يَعْرِفُونَ نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنْكِرُونَهَا وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ
Ya`rifūna Ni`mata Al-Lahi Thumma Yunkirūnahā Wa ‘Aktharuhumu Al-Kāfirūna
16:83 They recognize the Favor of Allah; then they deny it. And most of them are the disbelievers/ungrateful.

83. Ya’rifoona ni’matal laahi summa yunkiroonahaa wa aksaruhumul kaafiroon (section 11)
84. وَيَوْمَ نَبْعَثُ مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا ثُمَّ لَا يُؤْذَنُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ
Wa Yawma Nab`athu Min Kulli Ummatin Shahīdāan Thumma Yu’udhanu Lilladhīna Kafarū Wa Lā Hum Yusta`tabūna
16:84 And the Day We will resurrect a witness from every nation, then for those who disbelieved will not be permitted/allowed ˹to plead˺ and nor will they be asked to make amends/appease ˹their Lord˺.

and nor will they appease ˹their Lord˺.

16:84 And ˹Consider, O Prophet,˺ the Day We will resurrect a witness from every nation, then not will be permitted to those who disbelieved and not they will be asked to make amends.
84. Wa yawma nab’asu min kulli ummatin shaheedan summa laa yu’zanu lillazeena kafaroo wa laa hum yusta’taboon
85. وَإِذَا رَأَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا الْعَذَابَ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُونَ
Wa ‘Idhā Ra’á Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Al-`Adhāba Falā Yukhaffafu `Anhum Wa Lā Hum Yunžarūna
16:85 And when those who wronged will see the punishment, then it will not be lightened for them and nor will they be given respite/ delayed ˹from it˺. 
85. Wa izaa ra al lazeena zalamul ‘azaaba falaa yukhaf fafu ‘anhum wa laa hum yunzaroon
86. وَإِذَا رَأَى الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا شُرَكَاءَهُمْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا هَٰؤُلَاءِ شُرَكَاؤُنَا الَّذِينَ كُنَّا نَدْعُو مِنْ دُونِكَ ۖ فَأَلْقَوْا إِلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلَ إِنَّكُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ
Wa ‘Idhā Ra’á Al-LadhīnaAshrakū Shurakā’ahum Qālū Rabbanā Hā’uulā‘ Shurakā’uunā Al-Ladhīna Kunnā Nad`ū Min Dūnika Fa’alqawIlayhimu Al-Qawla Innakum Lakādhibūna
16:86 And when those who associated partners with Allah will see their partners. They will say, “Our Lord, these are our partners those whom we used to call from besides You.” But they (i.e., their partners) will throw back their word at them, ˹saying,˺ “Indeed, you are surely liars.”
86. Wa izaa ra al lazeena ashrakoo shurakaaa’ahum qaaloo Rabbana haaa’ulaaa’i shurakaaa’unal lazeena kunnaa nad’oo min doonika fa alqaw ilaihimul qawla innakum lakaaziboon
87. وَأَلْقَوْا إِلَى اللَّهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ السَّلَمَ ۖ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
Wa ‘Alqaw Ilá Al-Lahi Yawma’idhin As-Salama Wa Đalla `Anhum  Kānū Yaftarūna
16:87  And they will offer the submission to Allah on that Day, and what (i.e., partners) they used to invent/fabricate is/will lost/fail them.

16:87  And they will offer the submission to Allah on that Day, and (is) lost from them what they used to invent.
87. Wa alqaw ilal laahi yawma’izinis salama wa dalla ‘anhum maa kaanoo yaftaroon
88. الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ زِدْنَاهُمْ عَذَابًا فَوْقَ الْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوا يُفْسِدُونَ
Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Şaddū `An Sabīli Al-Lahi Zidnāhum `Adhābāan Fawqa Al-`Adhābi Bimā Kānū Yufsidūna
16:88 And those who disbelieve and hinder from the Way of Allah, We will increase them in punishment over punishment because they used to spread corruption.
88. Allazeena kafaroo wa saddoo ‘an sabeelil laahi zidnaahum ‘azaaban fawqal ‘azaabi bimaa kaanoo yufsidoon
89. وَيَوْمَ نَبْعَثُ فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ ۖ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ شَهِيدًا عَلَىٰ هَٰؤُلَاءِ ۚ وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ تِبْيَانًا لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ
Wa Yawma Nab`athu Kulli Ummatin Shahīdāan `Alayhim Min Anfusihim Wa Ji’nā Bika Shahīdāan `Alá Hā’uulā’ Wa Nazzalnā `Alayka Al-Kitāba Tibyānāan Likulli Shay’in Wa Hudáan Wa Raĥmatan Wa Bushrá Lilmuslimīna
16:89  And ˹Consider, O Prophet,˺ the Day We will resurrect among every nation a witness over them from themselves. And We will bring you as a witness over these ˹people of yours˺. And We sent down to you the Book as a clarification of every thing and a guidance and mercy and good news for those who submit/ the Muslims.
89. Wa yawma nab’asu fee kulli ummmatin shaheedan ‘alaihim min anfusihim wa ji’naa bika shaheedan ‘alaa haaa’ulaaa’; wa nazzalnaa ‘alaikal Kitaaba tibyaanal likulli shai’inw wa hudanw wa rahmatanw wa bushraa lilmuslimeen (section 12)
90. إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَيَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ ۚ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
Inna Al-Laha Ya’muru Bil-`Adli Wa Al-‘Iĥsāni Wa ‘Ītā’i Dhī Al-Qurbá Wa Yanhá `Ani Al-Faĥshā’i Wa Al-Munkari Wa Al-Baghyi Ya`ižukum La`allakum Tadhakkarūna
16:90 Indeed, Allah commands justice and the good and giving to the relatives, and forbids from the immorality and the bad and the oppression. He admonishes/instructs you so that you may take heed/be mindful.
90. Innal laaha ya’muru bil ‘adli wal ihsaani wa eetaaa’i zil qurbaa wa yanhaa ‘anil fahshaaa’i wal munkari walbagh-i’ ya’izukum la’allakum tazakkaroon

16. Surah Nahl part 5 91 to 110 ayah

91. وَأَوْفُوا بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ إِذَا عَاهَدْتُمْ وَلَا تَنْقُضُوا الْأَيْمَانَ بَعْدَ تَوْكِيدِهَا وَقَدْ جَعَلْتُمُ اللَّهَ عَلَيْكُمْ كَفِيلًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
Wa ‘Awfū Bi`ahdi Al-Lahi Idhā `Āhadtum Wa Lā Tanquđū Al-‘Aymāna Ba`da Tawkīdihā Wa Qad Ja`altumu Al-Laha `Alaykum Kafīlāan Inna Al-Laha Ya`lamu Taf`alūna
16:91 And fulfil the covenant/ promise of Allah when you have taken a covenant/ promise, and do not break oaths after confirming it while verily you have made Allah a surety/guarantor over you. Indeed, Allah knows what you do.
91. Wa awfoo bi Ahdil laahi izaa ‘aahattum wa laa tanqudul aimaana ba’da tawkeedihaa wa qad ja’altumul laaha ‘alaikum kafeelaa; innal laaha ya’lamu maa taf’aloon
92. وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّتِي نَقَضَتْ غَزْلَهَا مِنْ بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ أَنْكَاثًا تَتَّخِذُونَ أَيْمَانَكُمْ دَخَلًا بَيْنَكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونَ أُمَّةٌ هِيَ أَرْبَىٰ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ ۚ إِنَّمَا يَبْلُوكُمُ اللَّهُ بِهِ ۚ وَلَيُبَيِّنَنَّ لَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَا كُنْتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ
Wa Lā Takūnū Kāllatī Naqađat Ghazlahā Min Ba`di Qūwatin Ankāthāan Tattakhidhūna Aymānakum Dakhalāan Baynakum ‘An Takūna Ummatun Hiya Arbá Min Ummatin Innamā Yablūkumu Al-Lahu Bihi Wa Layubayyinanna Lakum Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Kuntum Fīhi Takhtalifūna
16:92 And do not be like her who/ like a female who untwists her yarn into untwisted strands from after its firmly spun; you take your oaths as a deception between you, so that you be/become a community which is more numerous/grown than another community. Allah only tests you by it. And He will make clear to you on the Day of the Resurrection/Judgement, what you used to differ in it.

16:92  And do not be like her who/ like a female who after spinning her yarn from strength untwists into untwisted strands; you take your oaths (as) a deception between you, because is a community [it] more numerous than(another) community. Only, tests you Allah by it. And He will make clear to you (on) the Day (of) the Resurrection, what you used (to) in it differ.

16:92  And do not be like her who/ like a female who untwists her yarn from after its firmly spun into untwisted strands;

16:92  And do not be like her who/ like a female who untwists (i.e., breaks) her yarn into untwisted strands from after she herself made it strong;
92. Wa laa takoonoo kallatee naqadat ghazlahaa mim ba’di quwwatin ankaasaa; tattakhizoona aimaanakum dakhalam bainakum an takoona ummatun hiya arbaa min ummah; innnamaa yablookumul laahu bih; wa la yubaiyinanna lakum yawmal Qiyaamati maa kuntum feehi takhtalifoon
93. وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَٰكِنْ يُضِلُّ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَلَتُسْأَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Wa Law Shā’a Al-Lahu Laja`alakum Ummatan Wāĥidatan Wa Lakin Yuđillu Man Yashā’u Wa Yahdī Man Yashā’u Wa Latus’alunna `Ammā Kuntum Ta`malūna
16:93  And if Allah had willed surely He could have made you one nation, but He leaves to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And surely you will be questioned about what you used to do.
93. Wa law shaaa’al laahu laja’alakum ummmatanw waahidatanw wa laakiny yudillu many-yashaaa’u wa yahdee many-yashaaa’; wa latus’alunna ‘ammaa kuntum ta’maloon
94. وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا أَيْمَانَكُمْ دَخَلًا بَيْنَكُمْ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمٌ بَعْدَ ثُبُوتِهَا وَتَذُوقُوا السُّوءَ بِمَا صَدَدْتُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
Wa Lā Tattakhidhū Aymānakum Dakhalāan Baynakum Fatazilla Qadamun Ba`da Thubūtihā Wa Tadhūqū As-Sū’a Bimā Şadadtum `An Sabīli Al-Lahi Wa Lakum `Adhābun `Ažīmun
16:94 And do not take your oaths as a ˹means of˺ deception between you, so that, a foot should slip after it is firmly placed, and/then you would taste the evil ˹consequences˺ for what you hindered from the way of Allah and for you is a great/tremendous punishment.
94. Wa laa tattakhizooo aimaanakum dakhalam bainakum fatazilla qadamum ba’da subootihaa wa tazooqus sooo’a bima sadattum ‘an sabeelil laahi wa lakum ‘azaabun ‘azeem
95. وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Lā Tashtarū Bi`ahdi Al-Lahi Thamanāan Qalīlāan Innamā `Inda Al-Lahi Huwa Khayrun Lakum In Kuntum Ta`lamūna
16:95  And do not exchange/trade the covenant/promise of Allah, for a little price. Indeed, what is with Allah, it is ˹far˺ better for you if you were to know.
95. Wa laa tashtaroo bi ‘ahdil laahi samanan qaleelaa; innamaa ‘indal laahi huwa khairul lakum in kuntum ta’lamoon
96. مَا عِنْدَكُمْ يَنْفَدُ ۖ وَمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ بَاقٍ ۗ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
`Indakum Yanfadu Wa Mā `Inda Al-Lahi Bāqin Wa Lanajziyanna Al-Ladhīna Şabarū Ajrahum Bi’aĥsani Kānū Ya`malūna
16:96  Whatever is with you will end/ be exhausted, and whatever is with Allah is everlasting/ (will) be remaining. And surely We will reward/pay those who are patient their reward to the best of what they used to do.
96. maa ‘indakum yanfadu wa maa ‘indal laahi baaq; wa lanajziyannal lazeena sabarooo ajjrahum bi ahsani maa kaanoo ya’maloon
97. مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Man `Amila Şāliĥāan Min Dhakarin Aw Unthá Wa Huwa Mu’uminun Falanuĥyiyannahu Ĥayāatan Ţayyibatan Wa LanajziyannahumAjrahum Bi’aĥsani Kānū Ya`malūna
16:97  Whoever does righteous deeds/good deed whether male or female while he is a believer, then surely We will give him life/live a good life, and We will pay them their reward to the best of what they used to do.
97. Man ‘amila saaliham min zakarin aw unsaa wa huwa mu’minun falanuhyiyannahoo hayaatan taiiyibatanw wa lanajzi yannnahum ajrahum bi ahsani maa kaanoo ya’maloon
98. فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Fa’idhā Qara’ta Al-Qur’āna Fāsta`idh Bil-Lahi Mina Ash-Shayţāni Ar-Rajīmi
16:98  So when you recite the Quran, seek refuge in Allah from the Satan, the cursed.
98. Fa izaa qara tal Quraana fasta’iz billaahi minashh Shai taanir rajeem
99. إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ سُلْطَانٌ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
Innahu Laysa Lahu Sulţānun `Alá Al-Ladhīna Āmanū Wa `Alá Rabbihim Yatawakkalūna
16:99 Indeed he (i.e., satan), does not have for him any authority over those who believe and they put their trust upon their Lord.
99. Innahoo laisa lahoo sultaanun ‘alal lazeena aamanoo wa ‘alaa Rabbihim yatawakkaloon
100. إِنَّمَا سُلْطَانُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُ وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ بِهِ مُشْرِكُونَ
Innamā Sulţānuhu `Alá Al-Ladhīna Yatawallawnahu Wa Al-Ladhīna Hum Bihi Mushrikūna
16:100 his (i.e., satan’s) authority is only over those who take him as an ally/patron and they are those who associate partners with Him ˹Allah˺.
100. Innnamaa sultaanuhoo ‘alal lazeena yatawallawnahoo wallazeena hum bihee mushrikoon (section 13)
101. وَإِذَا بَدَّلْنَا آيَةً مَكَانَ آيَةٍ ۙ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُنَزِّلُ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُفْتَرٍ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa ‘Idhā Baddalnā Āyatan Makāna Āyatin Wa Allāhu ‘A`lamu Bimā Yunazzilu Qālū Innamā Anta Muftarin Bal Aktharuhum Ya`lamūna
16:101  And when We substitute a Verse in place of a Verse, and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down, they (i.e., disbelievers) say,You ˹O Muḥammad˺ are only an inventor/ a fabricator.” But, most of them do not know.
101. Wa izaa baddalnaaa Aayatam makaana Aayatinw wal laahu a’lamu bimaa yunazzilu qaalooo innamaa anta muftar; bal aksaruhum laa ya’lamoon
102. قُلْ نَزَّلَهُ رُوحُ الْقُدُسِ مِنْ رَبِّكَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيُثَبِّتَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ
Qul Nazzalahu Rūĥu Al-Qudusi Min Rabbika Bil-Ĥaqqi Liyuthabbita Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Wa Hudáan Wa Bushrá Lilmuslimīna
16:102 Say, “The holy spirit has brought it down from your Lord with the truth, to make firm/ so that it may firm/strengthen those who believe and as a guidance and good news for those who submit ˹to Allah˺.”
102. Qul nazzalahoo Roohul Qudusi mir Rabbika bilhaqqi liyusabbital lazeena aamanoo wa hudanw wa bushraa lilmuslimeen
103. وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّمَا يُعَلِّمُهُ بَشَرٌ ۗ لِسَانُ الَّذِي يُلْحِدُونَ إِلَيْهِ أَعْجَمِيٌّ وَهَٰذَا لِسَانٌ عَرَبِيٌّ مُبِينٌ
Wa Laqad Na`lamuAnnahum Yaqūlūna Innamā Yu`allimuhu Basharun Lisānu Al-Ladhī Yulĥidūna Ilayhi ‘A`jamīyun Wa Hadhā Lisānun `Arabīyun Mubīnun
16:103  And certainly We know that they say, “It is only a human who teaches him (i.e., the Prophet).” The one (i.e., human) they refer to ˹speaks˺ foreign tongue, while this (i.e., Quran) ˹is in˺ a clear Arabic language.

The tongue of the one (i.e., man) they refer to is foreign while this (i.e., Quran) is ˹in˺ a clear Arabic language.
103. Wa laqad na’lamu annahum yaqooloona innamaa yu’allimuhoo bashar; lisaanul lazee yulhidoona ilaihi a’ja miyyunw wa haaza lisaanun ‘Arabiyyum mubeen
104. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ لَا يَهْدِيهِمُ اللَّهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Inna Al-Ladhīna Yu’uminūna Bi’āyāti Al-Lahi Yahdīhimu Al-Lahu Wa Lahum `Adhābun Alīmun
16:104  Indeed, those who do not believe in the Verses/revelations of Allah, Allah will not guide them and for them is / they will have a painful punishment.
104. Innal lazeena laa yu’minoona bi Aayaatil laahi laa yahdehimul laahu wa lahum ‘azaabun aleem
105. إِنَّمَا يَفْتَرِي الْكَذِبَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ
Innamā Yaftarī Al-Kadhiba Al-Ladhīna Yu’uminūna Bi’āyāti Al-Lahi Wa ‘Ūlā’ika Humu Al-Kādhibūna
16:105 Only they invent the falsehood who do not believe in the Verses of Allah, and thosethey are the liars.

105. Innamaa yaftaril kazibal lazeena laa yu’minoona bi Aayaatil laahi wa ulaaa’ika humul kaaziboon
106. مَنْ كَفَرَ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ إِيمَانِهِ إِلَّا مَنْ أُكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُهُ مُطْمَئِنٌّ بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَٰكِنْ مَنْ شَرَحَ بِالْكُفْرِ صَدْرًا فَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
Man Kafara Bil-Lahi Min Ba`di Īmānihi Illā Man Ukriha Wa Qalbuhu Muţma’innun Bil-‘Īmāni Wa Lakin Man Sharaĥa Bil-Kufri Şadrāan Fa`alayhim Ghađabun Mina Al-Lahi Wa Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun
16:106 Whoever disbelieves in Allah from after his belief, except those/someone/one who are/is forced while his heart is content/firm/satisfied with the faith. But those/someone/one who opens their/his chest to disbelief, then upon them is a wrath of Allah and for them is/ they will have a great punishment.

16:106  Whoever disbelieves in Allah from after his belief, except (one) who is forced while his heart is content with the faith. But(one) who opens to disbelief (his) breast, then
106. man kafara billaahi mim ba’di eemaanihee illaa man ukriha wa qalbuhoo mutmma’innum bil eemaani wa laakim man sharaha bilkufri sadran fa’alaihim ghadabum minal laahi wa lahum ‘azaabun ‘azeem
107. ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ اسْتَحَبُّوا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الْآخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ
Dhālika Bi’annahumu Astaĥabbū Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā `Alá Al-‘Ākhirati Wa ‘Anna Al-Laha Yahdī Al-Qawma Al-Kāfirīna
16:107  That is because they preferred the life of the world over the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
107. Zaalika bi annahumus tahabbul hayaatad dunyaa ‘alal Aakhirati wa annal laaha laa yahdil qawmal kaafireen
108. أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْغَافِلُونَ
‘Ūlā’ika Al-Ladhīna Ţaba`a Al-Lahu `Alá Qulūbihim Wa Sam`ihim Wa ‘Abşārihim Wa ‘Ūlā’ika Humu Al-Ghāfilūna
16:108  Those are the onesAllah has set a seal over their hearts and their hearing and their sight. And those they are the heedless/neglectful/ ignorant.
108. Ulaaa’ikal lazeena taba’al laahu ‘alaa quloobihim wa sam’ihim wa absaarihim wa ulaaa’ika humul ghaafiloon
109. لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
Jarama Annahum  Al-‘Ākhirati Humu Al-Khāsirūna
16:109 No doubt that they in the Hereafter, they are the losers.
109. Laa jarama annnahum fil Aakhirati humul khassiroon
110. ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا فُتِنُوا ثُمَّ جَاهَدُوا وَصَبَرُوا إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنْ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
Thumma Inna Rabbaka Lilladhīna Hājarū Min Ba`di Futinū Thumma Jāhadū Wa Şabarū ‘Inna Rabbaka Min Ba`dihā Laghafūrun Raĥīmun
16:110 Then indeed, your Lord, to those who emigrated from after what they had been put to trials then strove hard ˹for the cause of Allah˺ and were patient. Indeed, your Lord, from after it, surely is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
110. Summa inna Rabbaka lillazeena haajaroo mim ba’dimaa futinoo summma jaahadoo wa sabaroo inna Rabbaka mim ba’dihaa la Ghafoorur Raheem (section 14)

16. Surah Nahl part 6 111 to 128 ayah

111. يَوْمَ تَأْتِي كُلُّ نَفْسٍ تُجَادِلُ عَنْ نَفْسِهَا وَتُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا عَمِلَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
Yawma Ta’tī Kullu Nafsin Tujādilu `An Nafsihā Wa Tuwaffá Kullu Nafsin  `Amilat Wa Hum Yužlamūna
16:111  ˹On˺ the Day ˹when˺ every soul will come pleading for itself, and every soul will be paid in full for what it did and they will not be wronged.
111. Yawma taatee kullu nafsin tujaadilu ‘an nafsihaa wa tuwaffaa kullu nafsim maa ‘amilat wa hum laa yuzlamoon
112. وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا قَرْيَةً كَانَتْ آمِنَةً مُطْمَئِنَّةً يَأْتِيهَا رِزْقُهَا رَغَدًا مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ فَكَفَرَتْ بِأَنْعُمِ اللَّهِ فَأَذَاقَهَا اللَّهُ لِبَاسَ الْجُوعِ وَالْخَوْفِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ
Wa Đaraba Al-Lahu Mathalāan Qaryatan Kānat Āminatan Muţma’innatan Ya’tīhā Rizquhā Raghadāan Min Kulli Makānin Fakafarat Bi’an`umi Al-Lahi Fa’adhāqahā Al-Lahu Libāsa Al-Jū`i Wa Al-Khawfi Bimā Kānū Yaşna`ūna
16:112  And Allah sets forth an example of a town that was secure and at ease content, its provision coming to it in abundance from every place, but it denied the Favors of Allah, so Allah made it taste the garment of the hunger and the fear for what they used to do.
112. Wa darabal laahu masalan qaryatan kaanat aaminatam mutma’innatany yaaateehaa rizquhaa raghadam min kulli makaanin fakafarat bi an’umil laahi fa azaaqahal laahu libaasal joo’i walkhawfi bimaa kaanoo yasna’oon
113. وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِنْهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ
Wa Laqad Jā’ahum Rasūlun Minhum Fakadhdhabūhu Fa’akhadhahumu Al-`Adhābu Wa Hum Žālimūna
16:113 And certainly a Messenger came to them from among them but they denied him; so the punishment seized/overtook them while they were wrongdoers.
113. Wa laqad jaaa’ahum Rasoolum minhum fakazzaboohu fa akhazahumul ‘azaabu wa hum zaalimoon
114. فَكُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا وَاشْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ
Fakulū Mimmā Razaqakumu Al-Lahu Ĥalālāan Ţayyibāan Wa Ashkurū Ni`mata Al-Lahi In Kuntum Īyāhu Ta`budūna
16:114  So eat of/from the lawful and good what Allah has provided you. And be grateful for the Favor of Allah, if you worship Him Alone.

16:114  So eat of what Allah has provided you lawful and good. And be grateful (for the) Favor (of) Allah, if [you] Him Alone you worship.
114. Fakuloo mimmaa razaqa kumul laahu halaalan taiyibanw washkuroo ni’matal laahi in kuntum iyyaahu ta’budoon
115. إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ ۖ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلَا عَادٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
Innamā Ĥarrama `Alaykumu Al-Maytata Wa Ad-Dama Wa Laĥma Al-Khinzīri Wa Mā ‘Uhilla Lighayri Al-Lahi Bihi Famani Ađţurra Ghayra Bāghin Wa Lā `Ādin Fa’inna Al-Laha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
16:115 He has only forbidden to you the dead animals and the blood and the flesh of the swine, and upon that which (a name of someone) to other than Allah has been invoked. But if one is forced by necessity without being disobedient, and nor transgressing/exceeding immediate need – then indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

16:115 He has only forbidden to you the dead animals and the blood and the flesh of the swine, and upon that which has been dedicated to other than Allah . But (if) one (is) forced without (being) disobedient, and nor transgressingthen indeed, Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
115. Innamaa harama ‘alai kumul maitata waddama wa lahmal khinzeeri wa maaa uhilla lighairil laahi bihee famanid turra ghaira baaghinw wa laa ‘aadin fa innal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem
116. وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُكُمُ الْكَذِبَ هَٰذَا حَلَالٌ وَهَٰذَا حَرَامٌ لِتَفْتَرُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ
Wa Lā Taqūlū Limā Taşifu Alsinatukumu Al-Kadhiba Hādhā Ĥalālun Wa Hadhā Ĥarāmun Litaftarū `Alá Al-Lahi Al-KadhibaInna Al-Ladhīna Yaftarūna `Alá Al-Lahi Al-Kadhiba Yufliĥūna
16:116  And do not say of what your tongues describe falsely, This is lawful and this is unlawful,so that you invent the lie about Allah. Indeed, those who invent the lie about Allah, they will not succeed.
116. Wa laa taqooloo limaa tasifu alsinatukumul kaziba haaza halaalunw wa haazaa haraamul litaftaroo ‘alal laahil kazib; innal lazeena yaftaroona ‘alal laahil kaziba laa yuflihoon
117. مَتَاعٌ قَلِيلٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Matā`un Qalīlun Wa Lahum `Adhābun Alīmun
16:117 ˹It is only˺ a little enjoyment, and they will have a painful punishment.
117. Mata’un qaleelunw wa lahum ‘azaabun aleem
118. وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُوا حَرَّمْنَا مَا قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ وَمَا ظَلَمْنَاهُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
Wa `Alá Al-Ladhīna Hādū Ĥarramnā Qaşaşnā `Alayka Min Qablu Wa Mā Žalamnāhum Wa Lakin Kānū Anfusahum Yažlimūna
16:118  And to those who are Jews We have forbidden what We related to you from before. And We did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.
118. Wa ‘alal lazeena haadoo harramnaa ma qasasnaa ‘alaika min qablu wa maa zalamanaahum  wa laakin kaanoo anfusahum yazlimoon
119. ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا السُّوءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنْ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
Thumma Inna Rabbaka Lilladhīna `Amilū As-Sū’a Bijahālatin Thumma Tābū Min Ba`di Dhālika Wa ‘Aşlaĥū ‘Inna Rabbaka Min Ba`dihā Laghafūrun Raĥīmun
16:119 Then indeed, your Lord, for those who did evil in ignorance, then repented from after that, and corrected themselvesindeed, your Lord, from after that is surely All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
119. Summma inna Rabbaka lillazeena ‘amilus sooo’a bijahaalatin summa taaboo mim ba’di zaaalika wa aslahoo inna Rabbaka mim ba’dihaa la Ghafoorur Raheem (section 15)
120. إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ كَانَ أُمَّةً قَانِتًا لِلَّهِ حَنِيفًا وَلَمْ يَكُ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Inna Ibrāhīma Kāna Ummatan Qānitāan Lillahi Ĥanīfāan Wa Lam Yaku Mina Al-Mushrikīna
16:120 Indeed, Abraham was a nation obedient to Allah, upright/ a true monotheist, and he was not of the polytheists.
120. Inna Ibraaheema kaana ummatan qaanital lillaahi Haneefanw wa lam yakuminal mushrikeen
121. شَاكِرًا لِأَنْعُمِهِ ۚ اجْتَبَاهُ وَهَدَاهُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
Shākirāan Li’n`umihi Ajtabāhu Wa Hadāhu ‘Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīm
16:121 ˹Abraham was always˺ grateful for His favors. ˹So˺ He ˹Allah˺ chose him and guided him to the straight way/path.
121. Shaakiral li an’umih; ijtabaahu wa hadaahu ilaa Siraatim Muustaqeem
122. وَآتَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً ۖ وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Wa ‘Ātaynāhu Fī Ad-Dunyā Ĥasanatan Wa ‘Innahu Fī Al-‘Ākhirati Lamina Aş-Şāliĥīna
16:122  And We gave him good in the world, and indeed, in the Hereafter he will surely be among the righteous.
122. Wa aatainaahu fid dunyaa hasanah; wa innahoo fil Aakhirati laminas saaliheen
123. ثُمَّ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ أَنِ اتَّبِعْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Thumma Awĥaynā Ilayka Ani Attabi` Millata Ibrāhīma Ĥanīfāan Wa Mā Kāna Mina Al-Mushrikīna
16:123  Then We revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ that, “You follow the religion of Abraham, the upright/ a true monotheist; and he was not of the polytheists.
123. Summma awhainaa ilaika anit tabi’ Millata Ibraaheema haneefaa; wa maa kaana minal mushrikeen
124. إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ السَّبْتُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ ۚ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
Innamā Ju`ila As-Sabtu `Alá Al-Ladhīna Akhtalafū Fīhi Wa ‘Inna Rabbaka Layaĥkumu Baynahum Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Fīmā Kānū Fīhi Yakhtalifūna
16:124  The Sabbath was appointed only for those who differed/disagreed about it. And indeed, your Lord will surely judge between them on the Day of the Resurrection/Judgment in what they used to differ about it.
124. Innnamaa ju’ilas Sabtu ‘alal lazeenakhtalafoo feeh; wa inna Rabbaka la yahkumu bainahum Yawmal Qiyaamati feemaa kaanoo feehi yakhtalifoon
125. ادْعُ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ ۖ وَجَادِلْهُمْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ ضَلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ ۖ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ
Ad`u Ilá Sabīli Rabbika Bil-Ĥikmati Wa Al-Maw`ižati Al-Ĥasanati Wa Jādilhum Bil-Atī Hiya Aĥsanu Inna Rabbaka Huwa ‘A`lamu Biman Đalla `An Sabīlihi Wa HuwaA`lamu Bil-Muhtadīna
16:125 Call/Invite ˹all˺ to the way/path of your Lord with the wisdom and the good advice, and discuss with them in ˹a way˺ that which is better. Indeed, your Lord, He is most knowing of who has strayed/ has gone stray from His way, And He is most knowing of the guided ones.
125. Ud’u ilaa sabeeli Rabbika bilhikmati walmaw ‘izatil hasanati wa jaadilhum billatee hiya ahsan; inna Rabbaka huwa a’almu biman dalla ‘an sabeelihee wa Huwa a’lamu bilmuhtadeen
126. وَإِنْ عَاقَبْتُمْ فَعَاقِبُوا بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبْتُمْ بِهِ ۖ وَلَئِنْ صَبَرْتُمْ لَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لِلصَّابِرِينَ
Wa ‘In `Āqabtum Fa`āqibū Bimithli `Ūqibtum Bihi Wa La’in Şabartum Lahuwa Khayrun Lilşşābirīna
16:126 And if you retaliate, then retaliate with the like of what you were afflicted with it. But if you are patient, surely it is better for those who are patient.
126. Wa in ‘aaqabtum fa’aaqiboo bimisli maa ‘ooqibtum bihee wa la’in sabartum lahuwa khairul lissaabireen
127. وَاصْبِرْ وَمَا صَبْرُكَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ ۚ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُ فِي ضَيْقٍ مِمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ
Wa Aşbir Wa Mā Şabruka Illā Bil-Lahi Wa Lā Taĥzan `Alayhim Wa Lā Taku Đayqin Mimmā Yamkurūna
16:127  And be patient ˹O Prophet˺ and your patience is not but from Allah. And do not grieve over them and do not be in distress for what they plot.
127. Wasbir wa maa sabruka illaa billaah; wa laa tahzan ‘alaihim wa laa taku fee daiqim mimmaa yamkuroon
128. إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ مُحْسِنُونَ
Inna Al-Laha Ma`a Al-Ladhīna Attaqaw Wa Al-Ladhīna Hum Muĥsinūna

16:128  Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who themselves are good-doers.

16:128  Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who [they] (are) good-doers.
128. Innal laaha ma’al lazeenat taqaw wal lazeena hum muhsinoon (section 16) (End Juz 14)
