Ţāhā
20:1  Ta Ha.
1. Taa-Haa
2. مَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ لِتَشْقَىٰ
Mā Anzalnā `Alayka Al-Qur’āna Litashqá
20:2  Not We (have) sent down to you the Quran that you be distressed
2. Maaa anzalnaa ‘alaikal Qur-aana litashqaaa
3. إِلَّا تَذْكِرَةً لِمَنْ يَخْشَىٰ
Illā Tadhkiratan Liman Yakhshá
20:3  (But) (as) a reminder for (those) who fear
3. Illaa tazkiratal limany yakhshaa
4. تَنْزِيلًا مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ وَالسَّمَاوَاتِ الْعُلَى
Tanzīlāan Mimman Khalaqa Al-‘Arđa Wa As-SamāwātAl-`Ulā
20:4  A revelation from (He) Who created the earth and the heavens [the] high,
4. Tanzeelam mimman khalaqal arda was samaawaatil ‘ulaa
5. الرَّحْمَٰنُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوَىٰ
Ar-Raĥmānu `Alá Al-`Arshi Astawá
20:5  The Most Gracious over the Throne is established.
5. Ar-Rahmaanu ‘alal ‘Arshis tawaa
6. لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَمَا تَحْتَ الثَّرَىٰ
Lahu  As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-‘Arđi Wa Mā Baynahumā Wa Mā Taĥta Ath-Thará
20:6  To Him (belongs) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth, and whatever (is) between them and whatever (is) under the soil.
6. Lahoo maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi wa maa bainahumaa wa maa tahtassaraa
7. وَإِنْ تَجْهَرْ بِالْقَوْلِ فَإِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ وَأَخْفَى
Wa ‘In Tajhar Bil-Qawli Fa’innahu Ya`lamu As-Sirra Wa ‘Akhfá
20:7  And if you speak aloud the word, then indeed, He knows the secret and the more hidden.
7. Wa in tajhar bilqawli fainnahoo ya’lamus sirra wa akhfaa
8. اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ لَهُ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ
Al-Lahu  ‘Ilāha Illā Huwa Lahu Al-‘Asmā’u Al-Ĥusná
20:8  Allah – (there is) no god except Him. To Him (belong) the Names, the Most Beautiful.
8. Allaahu laaa ilaaha illaa huwa lahul asmaa’ul husnaa
9. وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰ
Wa Hal Atāka Ĥadīthu Mūsá
20:9  And has come to you the narration (of) Musa?
9. Wa hal ataaka hadeesu Moosa
10. إِذْ رَأَىٰ نَارًا فَقَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ امْكُثُوا إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارًا لَعَلِّي آتِيكُمْ مِنْهَا بِقَبَسٍ أَوْ أَجِدُ عَلَى النَّارِ هُدًى
Idh Ra’á Nārāan Faqāla Li’hlihi Amkuthū Innī Ānastu Nārāan La`allī Ātīkum Minhā Biqabasin Aw Ajidu `Alá An-Nāri Hudáan
20:10  When he saw a fire, then he said to his family, “Stay here; indeed, I [I] perceived a fire; perhaps I (can) bring you therefrom a burning brand, or I find at the fire guidance.”
10. Iz ra aa naaran faqaala li ahlihim kusooo inneee aanastu naaral la’alleee aateekum minhaa biqabasin aw ajidu ‘alan naari hudaa
11. فَلَمَّا أَتَاهَا نُودِيَ يَا مُوسَىٰ
Falammā Atāhā Nūdī Yā Mūsá
20:11  Then when he came to it, he was called,O Musa,
11. Falammaaa ataahaa noodiya yaa Moosaa
12. إِنِّي أَنَا رَبُّكَ فَاخْلَعْ نَعْلَيْكَ ۖ إِنَّكَ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى
Innī Anā Rabbuka Fākhla` Na`laykaInnaka Bil-Wādi Al-Muqaddasi Ţūáan
20:12  Indeed, [I] I Am your Lord, so remove your shoes. Indeed, you (are) in the valley the sacred (of) Tuwa.
12. Inneee Ana Rabbuka fakhla’ na’laika innaka bilwaadil muqaddasi Tuwaa
13. وَأَنَا اخْتَرْتُكَ فَاسْتَمِعْ لِمَا يُوحَىٰ
Wa ‘Anā Akhtartuka Fāstami` Limā Yūĥá
20:13  And I (have) chosen you, so listen to what is revealed.
13. Wa anakhtartuka fastami’ limaa yoohaa
14. إِنَّنِي أَنَا اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاعْبُدْنِي وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِكْرِي
Innanī Anā Al-Lahu Lā Ilāha Illā Anā Fā`budnī Wa ‘Aqimi Aş-Şalāata Lidhikrī
20:14  Indeed, [I] I Am Allah. (There is) no god but I, so worship Me and establish the prayer for My remembrance.
14. Innaneee Anal laahu laaa ilaaha illaa Ana fa’budnee wa aqimis-salaata lizikree
15. إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخْفِيهَا لِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا تَسْعَىٰ
Inna As-Sā`ata Ātiyatun Akādu Ukhfīhā Litujzá Kullu Nafsin Bimā Tas`á
20:15  Indeed, the Hour (will be) coming. I almost [I] hide it that may be recompensed every soul for what it strives.
15. Innas Saa’ata aatiyatun akaadu ukhfeehaa litujzaa kullu nafsin bimaa tas’aa
16. فَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنْهَا مَنْ لَا يُؤْمِنُ بِهَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ فَتَرْدَىٰ
Falā Yaşuddannaka `Anhā Man  Yu’uminu Bihā Wa Attaba`a Hawāhu Fatardá
20:16  So (do) not (let) avert you from it (one) who (does) not believe in it and follows his desires, lest you perish.
16. Falaa yasuddannaka ‘anhaa mal laa yu’minu bihaa wattaba’a hawaahu fatardaa
17. وَمَا تِلْكَ بِيَمِينِكَ يَا مُوسَىٰ
Wa Mā Tilka Biyamīnika Yā Mūsá
20:17  And what (is) that in your right hand, O Musa?”
17. Wa maa tilka bi yamee nika yaa Moosaa
18. قَالَ هِيَ عَصَايَ أَتَوَكَّأُ عَلَيْهَا وَأَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلَىٰ غَنَمِي وَلِيَ فِيهَا مَآرِبُ أُخْرَىٰ
Qāla Hiya `Aşāya Atawakka’u `Alayhā Wa ‘Ahushshu Bihā `Alá Ghanamī Wa Liya Fīhā Ma’āribuUkhrá
20:18  He said, It (is) my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves with it for my sheep, and for me in it (are) uses other.”
18. Qaala hiya ‘asaaya atawakka’u alaihaa wa ahushshu bihaa ‘alaa ghanamee wa liya feehaa ma aaribu ukhraa
19. قَالَ أَلْقِهَا يَا مُوسَىٰ
Qāla Alqihā Mūsá
20:19  He said,Throw it down, O Musa!”
19. Qaala alqihaa yaa Moosaa
20. فَأَلْقَاهَا فَإِذَا هِيَ حَيَّةٌ تَسْعَىٰ
Fa’alqāhā Fa’idhā Hiya Ĥayyatun Tas`á
20:20  So he threw it down, and behold! It (was) a snake, moving swiftly.
20. Fa-alqaahaa fa -izaa hiya haiyatun tas’aa
21. قَالَ خُذْهَا وَلَا تَخَفْ ۖ سَنُعِيدُهَا سِيرَتَهَا الْأُولَىٰ
Qāla Khudh/hā Wa Lā Takhaf Sanu`īduhā Sīratahā Al-‘Ūlá
20:21  He said, “Seize it and (do) not fear. We will return it (to) its state the former.
21. Qaala khuzhaa wa laa ta khaf sanu’eeduhaa seeratahal oolaa
22. وَاضْمُمْ يَدَكَ إِلَىٰ جَنَاحِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَاءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوءٍ آيَةً أُخْرَىٰ
Wa Ađmum YadakaIlá Janāĥika Takhruj Bayđā’a Min Ghayri Sū’inĀyatan Ukhrá
20:22  And draw near your hand to your side; it will come out white, (from) without any disease (as) a sign another.
22. Wadmum yadaka ilaa janaahika takhruj baidaaa’a min ghairi sooo’in Aayatan ukhraa
23. لِنُرِيَكَ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا الْكُبْرَى
Linuriyaka MinĀyātinā Al-Kubrá
20:23  That We may show you of Our Signs the Greatest.
23. Linuriyaka min Aayaatinal Kubra
24. اذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَىٰ
Adh/hab Ilá Fir`awnaInnahu Ţaghá
20:24  Go to Firaun. Indeed, he (has) transgressed.”
24. Izhab ilaa Fir’awna innahoo taghaa (section 1)
25. قَالَ رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي
Qāla Rabbi Ashraĥ Şadrī
20:25  He said,My Lord! Expand for me my breast
25. Qaala Rabbish rah lee sadree
26. وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي
Wa Yassir Lī Amrī
20:26  And ease for me my task
26. Wa yassir leee amree
27. وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي
Wa Aĥlul `Uqdatan Min Lisānī
20:27  And untie (the) knot from my tongue
27. Wahlul ‘uqdatan milli saanee
28. يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
Yafqahū Qawlī
20:28  That they may understand my speech.
28. Yafqahoo qawlee
29. وَاجْعَلْ لِي وَزِيرًا مِنْ أَهْلِي
Wa Aj`al Lī Wazīrāan Min Ahlī
20:29  And appoint for me a minister from my family.
29. Waj’al lee wazeeran min ahlee
30. هَارُونَ أَخِي
Hārūna Akhī
20:30  Harun, my brother.
30. Haaroona akhee
31. اشْدُدْ بِهِ أَزْرِي
Ashdud Bihi Azrī
20:31  Reinforce through him my strength.
31. Ushdud biheee azree
32. وَأَشْرِكْهُ فِي أَمْرِي
Wa ‘Ashrik/hu Fī Amrī
20:32  And make him share [in] my task
32. Wa ashrik hu feee amree
33. كَيْ نُسَبِّحَكَ كَثِيرًا
Kay Nusabbiĥaka Kathīrāan
20:33  That we may glorify You much
33. Kai nusabbihaka kaseeraa
34. وَنَذْكُرَكَ كَثِيرًا
Wa Nadhkuraka Kathīrāan
20:34  And [we] remember You much.
34. Wa nazkuraka kaseeraa
35. إِنَّكَ كُنْتَ بِنَا بَصِيرًا
Innaka Kunta Binā Başīrāan
20:35  Indeed, [You] You are of us All-Seer.”
35. Innaka kunta binaa baseeraa
36. قَالَ قَدْ أُوتِيتَ سُؤْلَكَ يَا مُوسَىٰ
Qāla Qad Ūtīta Su’ulaka Yā Mūsá
20:36  He said,Verily, you are granted your request, O Musa!
36. Qaala qad ooteeta su’laka yaa Moosaa
37. وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَيْكَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَىٰ
Wa Laqad Manannā `Alayka Marratan Ukhrá
20:37  And indeed, We conferred a favor on you time another,
37. Wa laqad manannaa ‘alaika marratan ukhraaa
38. إِذْ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ أُمِّكَ مَا يُوحَىٰ
Idh Awĥaynā Ilá Ummika Yūĥá
20:38  When We inspired to your mother what is inspired,
38. Iz awhainaaa ilaaa ummika maa yoohaaa
39. أَنِ اقْذِفِيهِ فِي التَّابُوتِ فَاقْذِفِيهِ فِي الْيَمِّ فَلْيُلْقِهِ الْيَمُّ بِالسَّاحِلِ يَأْخُذْهُ عَدُوٌّ لِي وَعَدُوٌّ لَهُ ۚ وَأَلْقَيْتُ عَلَيْكَ مَحَبَّةً مِنِّي وَلِتُصْنَعَ عَلَىٰ عَيْنِي
‘Ani Aqdhifīhi Fī At-Tābūti Fāqdhifīhi  Al-Yammi Falyulqihi Al-Yammu Bis-Sāĥili Ya’khudh/hu `Adūwun  Wa`adūwun Lahu Wa ‘Alqaytu `Alayka Maĥabbatan Minnī Wa Lituşna`a `Alá `Ayni
20:39  “That cast him in the chest then cast it in the river, then let cast it the river on the bank; will take him an enemy to Me, and an enemy to him.” And I cast over you love from Me, and that you may be brought up under My eye.
39. ‘Aniqzifeehi fit Taabooti faqzifeehi fil yammi fal yul qihil yammu bis saahili ya’khuzhu ‘aduwwul lee wa ‘aduwwul lah; wa alqaitu ‘alaika mahabbatan minnee wa litusna’a ‘alaa ‘ainee
40. إِذْ تَمْشِي أُخْتُكَ فَتَقُولُ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ مَنْ يَكْفُلُهُ ۖ فَرَجَعْنَاكَ إِلَىٰ أُمِّكَ كَيْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ ۚ وَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا فَنَجَّيْنَاكَ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَفَتَنَّاكَ فُتُونًا ۚ فَلَبِثْتَ سِنِينَ فِي أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَىٰ قَدَرٍ يَا مُوسَىٰ
Idh Tamshī Ukhtuka Fataqūlu Hal Adullukum `Alá Man Yakfuluhu Faraja`nākaIlá ‘Ummika Kay Taqarra `Aynuhā Wa Lā Taĥzana Wa Qatalta Nafsāan Fanajjaynāka Mina Al-Ghammi Wa Fatannāka Futūnāan Falabithta Sinīna  ‘Ahli Madyana Thumma Ji’ta `Alá Qadarin Yā Mūsá
20:40  When was going your sister and she said,Shall, I show you [to] (one) who will nurse and rear him?” So We returned you to your mother that may be cooled her eyes and not she grieves. And you killed a man, but We saved you from the distress, and We tried you (with) a trial. Then you remained (some) years with (the) people (of) Madyan. Then you came at the decreed (time) O Musa!
40. Iz tamsheee ukhtuka fataqoolu hal adullukum ‘alaa mai yakfuluhoo faraja ‘naaka ilaaa ummika kai taqarra ‘ainuhaa wa laa tahzan; wa qatalta nafsan fanajjainaaka minal ghammi wa fatannaaka futoonaa; falabista sineena feee ahli Madyana summa ji’ta ‘alaa qadariny yaa Moosa
41. وَاصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِنَفْسِي
Wa Aşţana`tuka Linafsī
20:41  And I (have) chosen you for Myself.
41. Wastana’ tuka linafsee
42. اذْهَبْ أَنْتَ وَأَخُوكَ بِآيَاتِي وَلَا تَنِيَا فِي ذِكْرِي
Adh/hab Anta Wa ‘Akhūka Bi’āyātī Wa Lā Taniyā  Dhikrī
20:42  Go, you and your brother with My Signs, and (do) not slacken in My remembrance.
42. Izhab anta wa akhooka bi Aayaatee wa laa taniyaa fee zikree
43. اذْهَبَا إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَىٰ
Adh/habā ‘Ilá Fir`awna Innahu Ţaghá
20:43  Go, both of you, to Firaun. Indeed, he (has) transgressed.
43. Izhabaaa ilaa Fir’awna innahoo taghaa
44. فَقُولَا لَهُ قَوْلًا لَيِّنًا لَعَلَّهُ يَتَذَكَّرُ أَوْ يَخْشَىٰ
Faqūlā Lahu Qawlāan Layyināan La`allahu Yatadhakkaru ‘Aw Yakhshá
20:44  And speak to him a word gentle, perhaps he may take heed or fear.”
44. Faqoolaa lahoo qawlal laiyinal la allahoo yatazakkkaru ‘aw yakhshaa
45. قَالَا رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا نَخَافُ أَنْ يَفْرُطَ عَلَيْنَا أَوْ أَنْ يَطْغَىٰ
Qālā Rabbanā Innanā Nakhāfu ‘An Yafruţa `Alaynā Aw An Yaţghá
20:45  They said, Our Lord! Indeed, we fear that he will hasten against us or that he will transgress.”
45. Qaalaa Rabbanaaa innanaa nakhaafu ai yafruta ‘alainaaa aw ai yatghaa
46. قَالَ لَا تَخَافَا ۖ إِنَّنِي مَعَكُمَا أَسْمَعُ وَأَرَىٰ
Qāla Takhāfā Innanī Ma`akumā ‘Asma`u Wa ‘Ará
20:46  He said, “(Do) not fear. Indeed, I Am with you both; I hear and I see.
46. Qaala laa takhaafaaa innanee ma’akumaa asma’u wa araa
47. فَأْتِيَاهُ فَقُولَا إِنَّا رَسُولَا رَبِّكَ فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا تُعَذِّبْهُمْ ۖ قَدْ جِئْنَاكَ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكَ ۖ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَىٰ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الْهُدَىٰ
Fa’tiyāhu Faqūlā Innā Rasūlā Rabbika Fa’arsil Ma`anā Banī Isrā’īla Wa Lā Tu`adhdhibhum Qad Ji’nāka Bi’āyatin Min Rabbika Wa As-Salāmu `Alá Mani Attaba`a Al-Hudá
20:47  So go to him and say, “Indeed, we both (are) Messengers (of) your Lord, so send with us (the) Children (of) Israel, and (do) not torment them. Verily, we came to you with a Sign from your Lord. And peace on (one) who follows the Guidance.
47. Faatiyaahu faqoolaaa innaa Rasoolaa Rabbika fa arsil ma’anaa Banee Israaa’eela wa laa tu’azzibhum qad ji’naaka bi Aayatim mir Rabbika wassa laamu ‘alaa manit taba’al hudaa
48. إِنَّا قَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْنَا أَنَّ الْعَذَابَ عَلَىٰ مَنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
Innā Qad Ūĥiya Ilaynā Anna Al-`Adhāba `Alá Man Kadhdhaba Wa Tawallá
20:48  Indeed, we verily, it has been revealed to us that the punishment (will be) on (one) who denies and turns away.
48. Innaa qad oohiya ilainaaa annnal ‘azaaba ‘alaa man kaz zaba wa tawalla
49. قَالَ فَمَنْ رَبُّكُمَا يَا مُوسَىٰ
Qāla Faman Rabbukumā Yā Mūsá
20:49  He said,Then who (is) your Lord, O Musa?
49. Qaala famar Rabbu kumaa yaa Moosa
50. قَالَ رَبُّنَا الَّذِي أَعْطَىٰ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلْقَهُ ثُمَّ هَدَىٰ
Qāla Rabbunā Al-Ladhī ‘A`ţá Kulla Shay’in Khalqahu Thumma Hadá
20:50  He said, Our Lord (is) the One Who gave (to) every thing its form, then He guided (it).”
50. Qaala Rabbunal lazeee a’taa kulla shai’in khalqahoo summa hadaa
51. قَالَ فَمَا بَالُ الْقُرُونِ الْأُولَىٰ
Qāla Famā Bālu Al-Qurūni Al-‘Ūlá
20:51  He said, “Then what (is the) case (of) the generations (of) the former.
51. Qaala famaa baalul quroonil oolaa
52. قَالَ عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ رَبِّي فِي كِتَابٍ ۖ لَا يَضِلُّ رَبِّي وَلَا يَنْسَى
Qāla `Ilmuhā `Inda Rabbī Kitābin  Yađillu Rabbī Wa Lā Yansá
20:52  He said,Its knowledge (is) with my Lord, in a Record. Not errs my Lord and not forgets.”
52. Qaala ‘ilmuhaa ‘inda Rabee fee kitaab, laa yadillu Rabbee wa laa yansaa
53. الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَسَلَكَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا وَأَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِنْ نَبَاتٍ شَتَّىٰ
Al-Ladhī Ja`ala Lakumu Al-‘Arđa Mahdāan Wa Salaka Lakum Fīhā Subulāan Wa ‘Anzala Mina As-Samā’i Mā’an Fa’akhrajnā Bihi Azwājāan Min Nabātin Shattá
20:53  The One Who made for you the earth (as) a bed and inserted for you therein ways, and sent down from the sky water, then We (have) brought forth with it, pairs of plants diverse.
53. Allazee ja’ala lakumul arda mahdanw wa salaka lakum feehaa subulanw wa anzala minas samaaa’i maaa’an fa akhrajnaa biheee azwaajam min nabaatin shatta
54. كُلُوا وَارْعَوْا أَنْعَامَكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِأُولِي النُّهَىٰ
Kulū Wa Ar`aw ‘An`āmakum Inna Fī Dhālika La’āyātin Li’wlī An-Nuhá
20:54  Eat and pasture your cattle. Indeed, in that, surely (are) Signs for possessors (of) intelligence.
54. Kuloo war’aw an’aamakum; inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil li ulin nuhaa (section 2)
55. مِنْهَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ وَفِيهَا نُعِيدُكُمْ وَمِنْهَا نُخْرِجُكُمْ تَارَةً أُخْرَىٰ
Minhā Khalaqnākum Wa Fīhā Nu`īdukum Wa Minhā Nukhrijukum Tāratan Ukhrá
20:55  From it We created you, and in it We will return you, and from it We will bring you out, time another.
55. Minhaa khalaqnaakum wa feehaa nu’eedukum wa minhaa nukhrijukum taaratan ukhraa
56. وَلَقَدْ أَرَيْنَاهُ آيَاتِنَا كُلَّهَا فَكَذَّبَ وَأَبَىٰ
Wa Laqad ‘Araynāhu Āyātinā Kullahā Fakadhdhaba Wa ‘Abá
20:56  And verily, We showed him Our Signs, all of them, but he denied and refused.
56. Wa laqad arainaahu Aayaatinaa kullahaa fakaz zaba wa abaa
57. قَالَ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتُخْرِجَنَا مِنْ أَرْضِنَا بِسِحْرِكَ يَا مُوسَىٰ
Qāla Aji’tanā Litukhrijanā Min Arđinā Bisiĥrika Yā Mūsá
20:57  He said,Have you come to us to drive us out of our land with your magic, O Musa?
57. Qaala aji’tanaa litukhri janaa min ardinaa bisihrika yaa Moosa
58. فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّكَ بِسِحْرٍ مِثْلِهِ فَاجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكَ مَوْعِدًا لَا نُخْلِفُهُ نَحْنُ وَلَا أَنْتَ مَكَانًا سُوًى
Falana’tiyannaka Bisiĥrin Mithlihi Fāj`al Baynanā Wa Baynaka Maw`idāan  Nukhlifuhu Naĥnu Wa Lā ‘Anta Makānāan Sūáan
20:58  Then we will surely produce for you magic like it. So make between us and between you an appointment, not we will fail it [we] and not you, (in) a place even.”
58. Falanaatiyannaka bisihrim mislihee faj’al bainanaa wa bainaka maw’idal laa nukhlifuhoo nahnu wa laaa anta makaanan suwaa
59. قَالَ مَوْعِدُكُمْ يَوْمُ الزِّينَةِ وَأَنْ يُحْشَرَ النَّاسُ ضُحًى
Qāla Maw`idukum Yawmu Az-Zīnati Wa ‘An Yuĥshara An-Nāsu Đuĥáan
20:59  He said,Your appointment (is on the) day (of) the festival, and that will be assembled the people (at) forenoon.”
59. Qaala maw’idukum yawmuz zeenati wa ai yuhsharan naasu duhaa
60. فَتَوَلَّىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ فَجَمَعَ كَيْدَهُ ثُمَّ أَتَىٰ
Fatawallá Fir`awnu Fajama`a Kaydahu Thumma Atá
20:60  Then went away Firaun and put together his plan, then came.
60. Fatawallaa Fir’awnu fajjama’a kaidahoo summa ataa
61. قَالَ لَهُمْ مُوسَىٰ وَيْلَكُمْ لَا تَفْتَرُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا فَيُسْحِتَكُمْ بِعَذَابٍ ۖ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنِ افْتَرَىٰ
Qāla Lahum Mūsá Waylakum Taftarū `Alá Al-Lahi Kadhibāan Fayusĥitakum Bi`adhābin Wa Qad Khāba Mani Aftará
20:61  Said to them Musa, “Woe to you! (Do) not invent against Allah a lie, lest He will destroy you with a punishment. And verily, he failed who invented.”
61. Qaala lahum Moosaa wailakum laa taftaroo ‘alal laahi kaziban fa yus hitakum bi ‘azaab, wa qad khaaba manif taraa
62. فَتَنَازَعُوا أَمْرَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ وَأَسَرُّوا النَّجْوَىٰ
Fatanāza`ū ‘Amrahum Baynahum Wa ‘Asarrū An-Najwá
20:62  Then they disputed (in) their affair among them, and they kept secret the private conversation.
62. Fatanaaza’ooo amrahum bainahum wa asarrun najwaa
63. قَالُوا إِنْ هَٰذَانِ لَسَاحِرَانِ يُرِيدَانِ أَنْ يُخْرِجَاكُمْ مِنْ أَرْضِكُمْ بِسِحْرِهِمَا وَيَذْهَبَا بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ الْمُثْلَىٰ
Qālū In Hadhāni Lasāĥirāni Yurīdāni An Yukhrijākum Min Arđikum Bisiĥrihimā Wa Yadh/habā Biţarīqatikumu Al-Muthlá
20:63  They said,Indeed, these two [two] magicians they intend that they drive you out of your land with their magic and do away with your way the exemplary.
63. Qaalooo in haaazaani lasaahiraani yureedaani ai yukhrijaakum min ardikum bisihrihimaa wa yazhabaa bitareeqatikumul muslaa
64. فَأَجْمِعُوا كَيْدَكُمْ ثُمَّ ائْتُوا صَفًّا ۚ وَقَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْيَوْمَ مَنِ اسْتَعْلَىٰ
Fa’ajmi`ū Kaydakum Thumma A’tū Şaffāan Wa Qad Aflaĥa Al-Yawma Mani Asta`lá
20:64  So put together your plan then come (in) a line. And verily, (will be) successful today who overcomes.”
64. Fa ajmi’oo kaidakum summma’too saffaa; wa qad aflahal yawma manis ta’laa
65. قَالُوا يَا مُوسَىٰ إِمَّا أَنْ تُلْقِيَ وَإِمَّا أَنْ نَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَلْقَىٰ
Qālū Yā Mūsá ‘Immā An Tulqiya Wa ‘Immā ‘An Nakūna Awwala Man Alqá
20:65  They said,O Musa! Either [that] you throw or [that] we will be the first who throws?”
65. Qaaloo yaa Moosaaa immaaa an tulqiya wa immaaa an nakoona awala man alqaa
66. قَالَ بَلْ أَلْقُوا ۖ فَإِذَا حِبَالُهُمْ وَعِصِيُّهُمْ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ سِحْرِهِمْ أَنَّهَا تَسْعَىٰ
Qāla Bal ‘Alqū Fa’idhā Ĥibāluhum Wa `Işīyuhum Yukhayyalu Ilayhi Min Siĥrihim Annahā Tas`á
20:66  He said, “Nay, you throw.Then behold! Their ropes and their staffs seemed to him by their magic that they (were) moving.
66. Qaala bal alqoo fa izaa hibaaluhum wa ‘isiyyuhum yukhaiyalu ilaihi min sihrihim annahaa tas’aa
67. فَأَوْجَسَ فِي نَفْسِهِ خِيفَةً مُوسَىٰ
Fa’awjasa Nafsihi Khīfatan Mūsá
20:67  So sensed in himself a fear, Musa.
67. Fa awjasa fee nafsihee kheefatam Moosa
68. قُلْنَا لَا تَخَفْ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْأَعْلَىٰ
Qulnā Takhaf Innaka Anta Al-‘A`lá
20:68  We said, “(Do) not fear. Indeed, you you (will be) superior.
68. Qulnaa laa takhaf innaka antal a’laa
69. وَأَلْقِ مَا فِي يَمِينِكَ تَلْقَفْ مَا صَنَعُوا ۖ إِنَّمَا صَنَعُوا كَيْدُ سَاحِرٍ ۖ وَلَا يُفْلِحُ السَّاحِرُ حَيْثُ أَتَىٰ
Wa ‘Alqi Yamīnika Talqaf Şana`ū ‘Innamā Şana`ū Kaydu Sāĥirin Wa Lā Yufliĥu As-Sāĥiru Ĥaythu Atá
20:69  And throw what (is) in your right hand; it will swallow up what they have made. Only they (have) made a trick (of) a magician and not will be successful the magician wherever he comes.
69. Wa alqi maa fee yamee nika talqaf maa sana’oo; innamaa sana’oo kaidu saahir; wa laa yuflihus saahiru haisu ataa
70. فَأُلْقِيَ السَّحَرَةُ سُجَّدًا قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِرَبِّ هَارُونَ وَمُوسَىٰ
Fa’ulqiya As-Saĥaratu Sujjadāan Qālū Āmannā Birabbi Hārūna Wa Mūsá
20:70  So were thrown down the magicians prostrating. They said, “We believe in (the) Lord (of) Harun and Musa.
70. Fa ulqiyas saharatu sujjadan qaalooo aamannaa bi Rabbi Haaroona wa Moosa
71. قَالَ آمَنْتُمْ لَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ آذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ الَّذِي عَلَّمَكُمُ السِّحْرَ ۖ فَلَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ مِنْ خِلَافٍ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ فِي جُذُوعِ النَّخْلِ وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ أَيُّنَا أَشَدُّ عَذَابًا وَأَبْقَىٰ
Qāla Āmantum Lahu Qabla An Ādhana Lakum Innahu Lakabīrukumu Al-Ladhī `Allamakumu As-Siĥra Fala’uqaţţi`annaAydiyakum Wa ‘Arjulakum Min Khilāfin Wa La’uşallibannakum Judhū`i An-Nakhli Wa Lata`lamunnaAyyunā Ashaddu `Adhābāan Wa ‘Abqá
20:71  He said,You believe [to] him before [that] I gave permission to you. Indeed, he (is) your chief, the one who taught you the magic. So surely I will cut off your hands and your feet of opposite sides, and surely I will crucify you on (the) trunks (of) date-palms and surely you will know which of us (is) more severe (in) punishment and more lasting.”
71. Qaala aamantum lahoo qabla an aazana lakum; innahoo lakabeerukumul lazee ‘allama kumus sihra fala uqatti’anna aidiyakum wa arjulakum min khilaafinw wa la usallibannakum fee juzoo’in nakhli wa lata’lamunna aiyunaaa ashaddu ‘azaabanw wa abqaa
72. قَالُوا لَنْ نُؤْثِرَكَ عَلَىٰ مَا جَاءَنَا مِنَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالَّذِي فَطَرَنَا ۖ فَاقْضِ مَا أَنْتَ قَاضٍ ۖ إِنَّمَا تَقْضِي هَٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا
Qālū Lan Nu’uthiraka `Alá Jā’anā Mina Al-Bayyināti Wa Al-Ladhī Faţaranā Fāqđi Mā Anta Qāđin Innamā Taqđī Hadhihi Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā
20:72  They said,Never we will prefer you over what has come to us of the clear proofs, and the One Who created us. So decree whatever you (are) decreeing. Only you can decree (for) this life (of) the world.
72. Qaaloo lan nu’siraka ‘alaa maa jaaa’anaa minal baiyinaati wallazee fataranaa faqdimaaa anta qaad; innamaa taqdee haazihil hayaatad dunyaa
73. إِنَّا آمَنَّا بِرَبِّنَا لِيَغْفِرَ لَنَا خَطَايَانَا وَمَا أَكْرَهْتَنَا عَلَيْهِ مِنَ السِّحْرِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ
Innā Āmannā Birabbinā Liyaghfira Lanā Khaţāyānā Wa Mā ‘Akrahtanā `Alayhi Mina As-Siĥri Wa Allāhu Khayrun Wa ‘Abqá
20:73  Indeed, [we] we believe in our Lord that He may forgive for us our sins and what you compelled us on it of the magic. And Allah (is) Best and Ever Lasting.”
73. Innaaa aamannaa bi Rabbinaa liyaghfira lanaa khataayaanaa wa maaa akrahtanaa ‘alaihi minas sihr; wallaahu khairunw wa abqaa
74. إِنَّهُ مَنْ يَأْتِ رَبَّهُ مُجْرِمًا فَإِنَّ لَهُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ
Innahu Man Ya’ti Rabbahu Mujrimāan Fa’inna Lahu Jahannama Yamūtu Fīhā Wa Lā Yaĥyā
20:74  Indeed, he who comes (to) his Lord (as) a criminal then indeed, for him (is) Hell. Not he will die in it and not live.
74. Innahoo mai ya’ti Rabbahoo mujriman fa inna lahoo Jahannama laa yamootu feehaa wa laa yahyaa
75. وَمَنْ يَأْتِهِ مُؤْمِنًا قَدْ عَمِلَ الصَّالِحَاتِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمُ الدَّرَجَاتُ الْعُلَىٰ
Wa Man Ya’tihi Mu’umināan Qad `Amila Aş-Şāliĥāti Fa’ūlā’ika Lahumu Ad-Darajātu Al-`Ulā
20:75  But whoever comes to Him (as) a believer verily, he has done the righteous deeds, then those for them (will be) the ranks, [the] high.
75. Wa mai ya’tihee mu’minan qad ‘amilas saalihaati fa ulaaa’ika lahumud darajaatul ‘ulaa
76. جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ مَنْ تَزَكَّىٰ
Jannātu `Adnin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-‘Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Wa Dhalika Jazā’u Man Tazakká
20:76  Gardens (of) Eden flows from underneath them the rivers, abiding forever in it. And that (is) the reward (for him) who purifies himself.
76. Jannaatu ‘Adnin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa; wa zaalika jazaaa’u man tazakka (section 3)
77. وَلَقَدْ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي فَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ طَرِيقًا فِي الْبَحْرِ يَبَسًا لَا تَخَافُ دَرَكًا وَلَا تَخْشَىٰ
Wa Laqad ‘Awĥaynā Ilá Mūsá An Asri Bi`ibādī Fāđrib Lahum Ţarīqāan Fī Al-Baĥri Yabasāan  Takhāfu Darakāan Wa Lā Takhshá
20:77  And verily, We inspired to Musa that, “Travel by night with My slaves and strike for them a path in the sea dry; not fearing to be overtaken and not being afraid.
77. Wa laqad awhainaaa ilaa Moosaaa an asri bi’ibaadee fadrib lahum tareeqan fil bahri yabasal laa takhaafu darakanw wa laa takhshaa
78. فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ بِجُنُودِهِ فَغَشِيَهُمْ مِنَ الْيَمِّ مَا غَشِيَهُمْ
Fa’atba`ahum Fir`awnu Bijunūdihi Faghashiyahum Mina Al-Yammi Mā Ghashiyahum
20:78  Then followed them Firaun with his forces, but covered them from the sea what covered them
78. Fa atba’ahum Fir’awnu bijunoodihee faghashiyahum minal yammmi maa ghashi yahum
79. وَأَضَلَّ فِرْعَوْنُ قَوْمَهُ وَمَا هَدَىٰ
Wa ‘Ađalla Fir`awnu Qawmahu Wa Mā Hadá
20:79  And led astray Firaun his people and (did) not guide them.
79. wa adalla fir’awnu qawmahoo wa maa hadaa
80. يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَدْ أَنْجَيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ عَدُوِّكُمْ وَوَاعَدْنَاكُمْ جَانِبَ الطُّورِ الْأَيْمَنَ وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَنَّ وَالسَّلْوَىٰ
Yā Banī ‘Isrā’īla Qad Anjaynākum Min `Adūwikum Wa Wā`adnākum Jāniba Aţ-Ţūri Al-‘Aymana Wa Nazzalnā `Alaykumu Al-Manna Wa As-Salwá
20:80  O Children (of) Israel! Verily, We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a covenant with you on (the) side (of) the Mount the right, and We sent down to you the Manna and the quails.
80. Yaa Baneee Israaa’eela qad anjainaakum min ‘aduw wikum wa wa’adnaakum jaanibat Tooril aimana wa nazzalnaa ‘alaikumul Manna was Salwaa
81. كُلُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ وَلَا تَطْغَوْا فِيهِ فَيَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ غَضَبِي ۖ وَمَنْ يَحْلِلْ عَلَيْهِ غَضَبِي فَقَدْ هَوَىٰ
Kulū Min Ţayyibāti Razaqnākum Wa Lā Taţghaw Fīhi Fayaĥilla `Alaykum Ghađabī Wa Man Yaĥlil `Alayhi Ghađabī Faqad Hawá
20:81  Eat of (the) good things which We have provided you and (do) not transgress therein, lest should descend upon you My Anger. And whoever descends on whom My Anger, indeed, he (has) perished.
81. Kuloo min taiyibaati maa razaqnaakum wa laa tatghaw feehi fa yahilla ‘alaikum ghadabee wa mai yahlil ‘alaihi ghadabee faqad hawaa
82. وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِمَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَىٰ
Wa ‘Innī Laghaffārun Liman Tāba Wa ‘Āmana Wa `Amila Şāliĥāan Thumma Ahtadá
20:82  But indeed, I Am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteous (deeds) then remains guided.
82. Wa innee la Ghaffaarul liman taaba wa aamana wa ‘amila saalihan summah tadaa
83. وَمَا أَعْجَلَكَ عَنْ قَوْمِكَ يَا مُوسَىٰ
Wa Mā ‘A`jalaka `An Qawmika Yā Mūsá
20:83  “And what made you hasten from your people, O Musa?”
83. Wa maaa a’jalaka ‘an qawmika yaa Moosa
84. قَالَ هُمْ أُولَاءِ عَلَىٰ أَثَرِي وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَىٰ
Qāla Hum ‘Ūlā’i `Alá Atharī Wa `AjiltuIlayka Rabbi Litarđá
20:84  He said, “They (are) close upon my tracks, and I hastened to you my Lord, that You be pleased.
84. Qaala hum ulaaa’i ‘alaaa asaree wa ‘ajiltu ilaika Rabbi litardaa
85. قَالَ فَإِنَّا قَدْ فَتَنَّا قَوْمَكَ مِنْ بَعْدِكَ وَأَضَلَّهُمُ السَّامِرِيُّ
Qāla Fa’innā Qad Fatannā Qawmaka Min Ba`dika Wa ‘Ađallahumu As-Sāmirīyu
20:85  He said,But indeed, We [verily] We (have) tried your people from after you and has led them astray the Samiri.
85. Qaala fa innaa qad fatannaa qawmaka mim ba’dika wa adallahumus Saamiriyy
86. فَرَجَعَ مُوسَىٰ إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ غَضْبَانَ أَسِفًا ۚ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَمْ يَعِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا ۚ أَفَطَالَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْعَهْدُ أَمْ أَرَدْتُمْ أَنْ يَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ غَضَبٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُمْ مَوْعِدِي
Faraja`a Mūsá Ilá Qawmihi Ghađbāna Asifāan Qāla Yā Qawmi Alam Ya`idkum Rabbukum Wa`dāan Ĥasanāan Afaţāla `Alaykumu Al-`Ahdu ‘AmAradtum An Yaĥilla `Alaykum Ghađabun Min Rabbikum Fa’akhlaftum Maw`idī
20:86  Then returned Musa to his people angry (and) sorrowful. He said, O my people! Did not promise you your Lord a promise good? Then, did seem long to you the promise, or did you desire that descend upon you (the) Anger of your Lord, so you broke (the) promise to me?”
86. Faraja’a Moosaaa ilaa qawmihee ghadbaana asifaa; qaala yaa qawmi alam ya’idkum Rabbukum wa’dan hasanaa; afataala ‘alaikumul ‘ahdu am arattum ai yahilla ‘alaikum ghadabum mir Rabbikum fa akhlaftum maw’idee
87. قَالُوا مَا أَخْلَفْنَا مَوْعِدَكَ بِمَلْكِنَا وَلَٰكِنَّا حُمِّلْنَا أَوْزَارًا مِنْ زِينَةِ الْقَوْمِ فَقَذَفْنَاهَا فَكَذَٰلِكَ أَلْقَى السَّامِرِيُّ
Qālū Mā Akhlafnā Maw`idaka Bimalkinā Wa Lakinnā Ĥummilnā Awzārāan Min Zīnati Al-Qawmi Faqadhafnāhā Fakadhalika Alqá As-Sāmirīyu
20:87  They said,Not we broke promise to you by our will, but we [we] were made to carry burdens from ornaments (of) the people, so we threw them and thus threw the Samiri.
87. Qaaloo maaa akhlafnaa maw’idaka bimalkinna wa laakinna hummilnaaa awzaaram min zeenatil qawmi faqazafnaahaa fakazaalika alqas Saamiriyy
88. فَأَخْرَجَ لَهُمْ عِجْلًا جَسَدًا لَهُ خُوَارٌ فَقَالُوا هَٰذَا إِلَٰهُكُمْ وَإِلَٰهُ مُوسَىٰ فَنَسِيَ
Fa’akhraja Lahum `Ijlāan Jasadāan Lahu Khuwārun Faqālū Hādhā Ilahukum Wa ‘Ilahu Mūsá Fanasiya
20:88  Then he brought forth for them a calf’s body it had a lowing sound, and they said,This (is) your god and the god (of) Musa, but he forgot.”
88. Fa akhraja lahum ‘ijlan jasadal lahoo khuwaarun faqaaloo haazaaa ilaahukum wa ilaahu Moosaa fanasee
89. أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَلَّا يَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَوْلًا وَلَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا
Afalā Yarawna Allā Yarji`uIlayhim Qawlāan Wa Lā Yamliku Lahum Đarrāan Wa Lā Naf`āan
20:89  Then, did not they see that not it (could) return to them a word and not possess for them any harm and not any benefit?
89. Afalaa yarawna allaa yarji’u ilaihim qawlanw wa laa yamliku lahum darranw wa laa naf’aa (section 4)
90. وَلَقَدْ قَالَ لَهُمْ هَارُونُ مِنْ قَبْلُ يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّمَا فُتِنْتُمْ بِهِ ۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ فَاتَّبِعُونِي وَأَطِيعُوا أَمْرِي
Wa Laqad Qāla Lahum Hārūnu Min Qablu Yā QawmiInnamā Futintum Bihi Wa ‘Inna Rabbakumu Ar-Raĥmānu Fa Attabi`ūnī Wa ‘Aţī`ū ‘Amrī
20:90  And verily (had) said to them Harun from before, “O my people! Only you are being tested by it, and indeed, your Lord (is) the Most Gracious, so follow me and obey my order.
90. Wa laqad qaala lahum Haaroonu min qablu yaa qawmi innamaa futintum bihee wa inna Rabbakumur Rahmaanu fattabi’oonee wa atee’ooo amree
91. قَالُوا لَنْ نَبْرَحَ عَلَيْهِ عَاكِفِينَ حَتَّىٰ يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ
Qālū Lan Nabraĥa `Alayhi `Ākifīna Ĥattá Yarji`a Ilaynā Mūsá
20:91  They said,Never we will cease to it being devoted to it until returns to us Musa.”
91. Qaaloo lan nabraha ‘alaihi ‘aakifeena hattaa yarji’a ilainaa Moosaa
92. قَالَ يَا هَارُونُ مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذْ رَأَيْتَهُمْ ضَلُّوا
Qāla Yā Hārūnu Mana`aka Idh Ra’aytahum Đallū
20:92  He said,O Harun! What prevented you, when you saw them going astray,
92. Qaala Yaa Haaroonu maa mana ‘aka iz ra aitahum dallooo
93. أَلَّا تَتَّبِعَنِ ۖ أَفَعَصَيْتَ أَمْرِي
Allā Tattabi`anī ‘Afa`aşayta Amrī
20:93  That not you follow me? Then, have you disobeyed my order?”
93. Allaa tattabi’ani afa’asaita amree
94. قَالَ يَا ابْنَ أُمَّ لَا تَأْخُذْ بِلِحْيَتِي وَلَا بِرَأْسِي ۖ إِنِّي خَشِيتُ أَنْ تَقُولَ فَرَّقْتَ بَيْنَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَمْ تَرْقُبْ قَوْلِي
Qāla Yabna’uumma Ta’khudh Biliĥyatī Wa Lā Bira’sī ‘Innī Khashītu An Taqūla Farraqta Bayna Banī ‘Isrā’īla Wa Lam Tarqub Qawlī
20:94  He said,O son of my mother! (Do) not seize (me) by my beard and not by my head. Indeed, I [I] feared that you would say, “You caused division between (the) Children (of) Israel, and not you respect my word.
94. Qaala yabna’umma laa ta’khuz bi lihyatee wa laa bi ra’see innee khasheetu an taqoola farraqta baina Baneee Israaa’eela wa lam tarqub qawlee
95. قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكَ يَا سَامِرِيُّ
Qāla Famā Khaţbuka Yā Sāmirīyu
20:95  He said,Then what (is) your case, O Samiri?
95. Qaala famaa khatbuka yaa Saamiriyy
96. قَالَ بَصُرْتُ بِمَا لَمْ يَبْصُرُوا بِهِ فَقَبَضْتُ قَبْضَةً مِنْ أَثَرِ الرَّسُولِ فَنَبَذْتُهَا وَكَذَٰلِكَ سَوَّلَتْ لِي نَفْسِي
Qāla Başurtu Bimā Lam Yabşurū Bihi Faqabađtu Qabđatan Min Athari Ar-Rasūli Fanabadhtuhā Wa Kadhalika Sawwalat Nafsī
20:96  He said,I perceived what not they perceive, in it, so I took a handful from (the) track (of) the Messenger then threw it, and thus suggested to me my soul.
96. Qaala basurtu bimaa lam yabsuroo bihee faqabadtu qabdatam min asarir Rasooli fanabaztuhaa wa kazaalika sawwalat lee nafsee
97. قَالَ فَاذْهَبْ فَإِنَّ لَكَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ أَنْ تَقُولَ لَا مِسَاسَ ۖ وَإِنَّ لَكَ مَوْعِدًا لَنْ تُخْلَفَهُ ۖ وَانْظُرْ إِلَىٰ إِلَٰهِكَ الَّذِي ظَلْتَ عَلَيْهِ عَاكِفًا ۖ لَنُحَرِّقَنَّهُ ثُمَّ لَنَنْسِفَنَّهُ فِي الْيَمِّ نَسْفًا
Qāla Fādh/hab Fa’inna Laka Fī Al-Ĥayāati An Taqūla Misāsa Wa ‘Inna Laka Maw`idāan Lan Tukhlafahu Wa Anžur Ilá Ilahika Al-Ladhī Žalta `Alayhi `Ākifāan Lanuĥarriqannahu Thumma Lanansifannahu Fī Al-Yammi Nasfāan
20:97  He said,Then go. And indeed, for you in the life that you will say, “(Do) not touch.” And indeed, for you (is) an appointment neveryou will fail to (keep) it. And look at your god that which you have remained to it devoted. Surely we will burn it then certainly we will scatter it in the sea (in) particles.”
97. Qaala fazhab fa inna laka fil hayaati an taqoola laa misaasa wa inna laka maw’idal lan tukhlafahoo wanzur ilaaa ilaahikal lazee zalta ‘alaihi ‘aakifaa; la nuharriqannahoo thumma la nansifannahoo fil yammi nasfaa
98. إِنَّمَا إِلَٰهُكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا
Innamā Ilahukumu Al-Lahu Al-Ladhī Lā Ilāha Illā Huwa Wasi`a Kulla Shay’in `Ilmāan
20:98  Only your God (is) Allah the One, (there is) no god but He. He has encompassed all things (in) knowledge.
98. Innamaaa ilaahu kumul laahul lazee laa ilaaha illaa Hoo; wasi’a kulla shai’in ilmaa
99. كَذَٰلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنْبَاءِ مَا قَدْ سَبَقَ ۚ وَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ مِنْ لَدُنَّا ذِكْرًا
Kadhālika Naquşşu `Alayka Min Anbā’i Qad Sabaqa Wa Qad Ātaynāka Min Ladunnā Dhikrāan
20:99  Thus We relate to you from (the) news (of) what has preceded. And certainly We have given you from Us a Reminder.
99. Kazaalika naqussu ‘alaika min anbaaa’i maa qad sabaq; wa qad aatainaaka mil ladunnaa Zikraa
100. مَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَحْمِلُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وِزْرًا
Man ‘A`rađa `Anhu Fa’innahu Yaĥmilu Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Wizrāan
20:100  Whoever turns away from it, then indeed, he will bear (on the) Day (of) Resurrection a burden.
100. Man a’rada ‘anhu, fa innahoo yahmilu Yawmal Qiyaamati wizraa
101. خَالِدِينَ فِيهِ ۖ وَسَاءَ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حِمْلًا
Khālidīna Fīhi Wa Sā’a Lahum Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Ĥimlāan
20:101  Abiding forever in it, and evil for them (on the) Day (of) the Resurrection (as) a load
101. Khaalideena feehi wa saaa’a lahum Yawmal Qiyaamati himlaa
102. يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ ۚ وَنَحْشُرُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ زُرْقًا
Yawma Yunfakhu Fī Aş-Şūri Wa Naĥshuru Al-Mujrimīna Yawma’idhin Zurqāan
20:102  (The) Day will be blown in the Trumpet, and We will gather the criminals, that Day, blue-eyed.
102. Yawma yunfakhu fissoori wa nahshurul mujrimeena Yawma ‘izin zurqaa
103. يَتَخَافَتُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِنْ لَبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا عَشْرًا
Yatakhāfatūna Baynahum In Labithtum Illā `Ashrāan
20:103  They are murmuring among themselves, Not you remained except (for) ten.”
103. Yatakhaafatoona bainahum il labistum illaa ‘ashraa
104. نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذْ يَقُولُ أَمْثَلُهُمْ طَرِيقَةً إِنْ لَبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا يَوْمًا
Naĥnu A`lamu Bimā Yaqūlūna Idh Yaqūlu Amthaluhum Ţarīqatan In Labithtum Illā Yawmāan
20:104  We know best what they will say when will say, (the) best of them (in) conduct, “Not you remained except (for) a day.
104. nahnu a’lamu bimaa yaqooloona iz yaqoolu amsaluhum tareeqatan illabistum illaa yawmaa (section 5)
105. وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْجِبَالِ فَقُلْ يَنْسِفُهَا رَبِّي نَسْفًا
Wa Yas’alūnaka `Ani Al-Jibāli Faqul Yansifuhā Rabbī Nasfāan
20:105  And they ask you about the mountains, so say, “Will blast them my Lord (into) particles.
105. Wa yas’aloonaka ‘anil jibaali faqul yansifuhaa Rabbee nasfaa
106. فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعًا صَفْصَفًا
Fayadharuhā Qā`āan Şafşafāan
20:106  Then He will leave it, a level plain.
106. Fa yazaruhaa qaa’an safsafaa
107. لَا تَرَىٰ فِيهَا عِوَجًا وَلَا أَمْتًا
Tará Fīhā `Iwajāan Wa Lā Amtāan
20:107  Not you will see in it any crookedness and not any curve.
107. Laa taraa feehaa ‘iwajanw wa laaa amtaa
108. يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَّبِعُونَ الدَّاعِيَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهُ ۖ وَخَشَعَتِ الْأَصْوَاتُ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ فَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَّا هَمْسًا
Yawma’idhin Yattabi`ūna Ad-Dā`ī `Iwaja Lahu Wa Khasha`ati Al-‘Aşwātu Lilrraĥmani Falā Tasma`uIllā Hamsāan
20:108  On that Day they will follow the caller, no deviation from it. And (will be) humbled the voices for the Most Gracious, so not you will hear except a faint sound.
108. Yawma iziny yattabi’oonad daa’iya laa ‘iwaja lahoo wa khasha’atil aswaatu lir Rahmaani falaa tasma’u illaa hamsaa
109. يَوْمَئِذٍ لَا تَنْفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَرَضِيَ لَهُ قَوْلًا
Yawma’idhin  Tanfa`u Ash-Shafā`atuIllā Man Adhina Lahu Ar-Raĥmānu Wa Rađiya Lahu Qawlāan
20:109  (On) that Day not will benefit the intercession except (to) whom has given permission [to him] the Most Gracious, and He has accepted for him a word.
109. Yawma ‘izil laa tanfa’ush shafaa’atu illaa man azina lahur Rahmaanu wa radiya lahoo qawlaa
110. يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِهِ عِلْمًا
Ya`lamu Bayna Aydīhim Wa Mā Khalfahum Wa Lā Yuĥīţūna Bihi `Ilmāan
20:110  He knows what (is) between their hands and what (is) behind them, while not they encompass it (in) knowledge.
110. Ya’lamu maa bainaa aideehim wa maa khalfahum wa laa yuheetoona bihee ‘ilmaa
111. وَعَنَتِ الْوُجُوهُ لِلْحَيِّ الْقَيُّومِ ۖ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ حَمَلَ ظُلْمًا
Wa `Anati Al-Wujūhu Lilĥayyi Al-Qayyūmi Wa Qad Khāba Man Ĥamala Žulmāan
20:111  And (will be) humbled the faces before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. And verily will have failed (he) who carried wrongdoing.
111. Wa ‘anatil wujoohu lil Haiiyil Qaiyoomi wa qad khaaba man hamala zulmaa
112. وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَا يَخَافُ ظُلْمًا وَلَا هَضْمًا
Wa Man Ya`mal Mina Aş-Şāliĥāti Wa Huwa Mu’uminun Falā Yakhāfu Žulmāan Wa Lā Hađmāan
20:112  But (he) who does of the righteous deeds while he (is) a believer, then not he will fear injustice and not deprivation.
112. Wa mai ya’mal minas saalihaati wa huwa mu’minun falaa yakhaafu zulmanw wa laa hadmaa
113. وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا وَصَرَّفْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْوَعِيدِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ أَوْ يُحْدِثُ لَهُمْ ذِكْرًا
Wa KadhalikaAnzalnāhu Qur’ānāan `Arabīyāan Wa Şarrafnā Fīhi Mina Al-Wa`īdi La`allahum Yattaqūna Aw Yuĥdithu Lahum Dhikrāan
20:113  And thus We have sent it down, (the) Quran (in) Arabic and We have explained in it of the warnings that they may fear or it may cause [for] them remembrance.
113. Wa kazaalika anzalnaahu Qur-aanan ‘Arabiyyanw wa sarrafnaa fee hi minal wa’eedi la’allahum yattaqoona aw yuhdisu lahum zikraa
114. فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ ۗ وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يُقْضَىٰ إِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهُ ۖ وَقُلْ رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Fata`ālá Al-Lahu Al-Maliku Al-Ĥaqqu Wa Lā Ta`jal Bil-Qur’āni Min Qabli An Yuqđá Ilayka Waĥyuhu Wa Qul Rabbi Zidnī `Ilmāan
20:114  So high (above all) (is) Allah the King, the True. And (do) not hasten with the Quran from before [that] is completed to you its revelation, and say, “My Lord! Increase me (in) knowledge.”
114. Fata’aalal laahul Malikul Haqq; wa laa ta’jal bil Quraani min qabli ai yuqdaaa ilaika wahyuhoo wa qur Rabbi zidnee ‘ilmaa
115. وَلَقَدْ عَهِدْنَا إِلَىٰ آدَمَ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَنَسِيَ وَلَمْ نَجِدْ لَهُ عَزْمًا
Wa Laqad `Ahidnā Ilá Ādama Min Qablu Fanasiya Wa Lam Najid Lahu `Azmāan
20:115  And verily We made a covenant with Adam from before, but he forgot; and not We found in him determination.
115. Wa laqad ‘ahidnaaa ilaaa Aadama min qablu fanasiya wa lam najid lahoo ‘azmaa (section 6)
116. وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ
Wa ‘Idh Qulnā Lilmalā’ikati Asjudū Li’dama Fasajadū ‘Illā ‘IblīsaAbá
20:116  And when We said to the Angels,Prostrate to Adam,” then they prostrated, except Iblis; he refused.
116. Wa iz qulnaa lilma laaa’ikatis judoo li Aadama fasajadooo illaaa Ibleesa; abaa
117. فَقُلْنَا يَا آدَمُ إِنَّ هَٰذَا عَدُوٌّ لَكَ وَلِزَوْجِكَ فَلَا يُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ فَتَشْقَىٰ
Faqulnā Yā ‘ĀdamuInna Hādhā `Adūwun Laka Wa Lizawjika Falā Yukhrijannakumā Mina Al-Jannati Fatashqá
20:117  Then We said,O Adam! Indeed, this (is) an enemy to you and to your wife. So not (let) him drive you both from Paradise so (that) you would suffer.
117. Faqulnaa yaaa Aadamu inna haazaa ‘aduwwul laka wa lizawjika falaa yukhrijan nakumaa minal Jannati fatashqaa
118. إِنَّ لَكَ أَلَّا تَجُوعَ فِيهَا وَلَا تَعْرَىٰ
Inna Laka Allā Tajū`a Fīhā Wa Lā Ta`rá
20:118  Indeed, for you that not you will be hungry therein and not you will be unclothed.
118. Innaa laka allaa tajoo’a feeha wa laa ta’raa
119. وَأَنَّكَ لَا تَظْمَأُ فِيهَا وَلَا تَضْحَىٰ
Wa ‘Annaka Tažma’u Fīhā Wa Lā Tađĥá
20:119  And that you not will suffer from thirst therein and not exposed to the sun’s heat.
119. Wa annaka laa tazma’u feehaa wa laa tadhaa
120. فَوَسْوَسَ إِلَيْهِ الشَّيْطَانُ قَالَ يَا آدَمُ هَلْ أَدُلُّكَ عَلَىٰ شَجَرَةِ الْخُلْدِ وَمُلْكٍ لَا يَبْلَىٰ
Fawaswasa Ilayhi Ash-Shayţānu Qāla Yā ‘Ādamu Hal Adulluka `Alá Shajarati Al-Khuldi Wa Mulkin Lā Yablá
20:120  Then whispered to him Shaitaan, he said,O Adam! Shall I direct you to (the) tree (of) the Eternity and a kingdom not (that will) deteriorate?”
120. Fa waswasa ilaihish Shaitaanu qaala yaaa Aadamu hal adulluka ‘alaa shajaratil khuldi wa mulkil laa yablaa
121. فَأَكَلَا مِنْهَا فَبَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْآتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِنْ وَرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ ۚ وَعَصَىٰ آدَمُ رَبَّهُ فَغَوَىٰ
Fa’akalā Minhā Fabadat Lahumā Saw’ātuhumā Wa Ţafiqā Yakhşifāni `Alayhimā Min Waraqi Al-Jannati Wa `Aşá Ādamu Rabbahu Faghawá
20:121  Then they both ate from it, so became apparent to them their shame and they began, (to) fasten on themselves from (the) leaves (of) Paradise. And disobeyed Adam his Lord, and erred.
121. Fa akalaa minhaa fabadat lahumaa saw aatuhumaa wa tafiqaa yakhsifaani ‘alaihimaa minw waraqil jannah; wa ‘asaaa Aadamu Rabbahoo faghawaa
122. ثُمَّ اجْتَبَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ وَهَدَىٰ
Thumma Ajtabāhu Rabbuhu Fatāba `Alayhi Wa Hadá
20:122  Then chose him his Lord, and turned to him and guided (him).
122. Summaj tabbahu Rabbuhoo fataaba ‘alaihi wa hadaa
123. قَالَ اهْبِطَا مِنْهَا جَمِيعًا ۖ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ ۖ فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ مِنِّي هُدًى فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ هُدَايَ فَلَا يَضِلُّ وَلَا يَشْقَىٰ
Qāla Ahbiţā Minhā Jamī`āan Ba`đukum Liba`đin `Adūwun Fa’immā Ya’tiyannakum Minnī Hudáan Famani Attaba`a Hudāya Falā Yađillu Wa Lā Yashqá
20:123  He said,Go down from it all, some of you to others (as) enemy. Then if comes to you from Me guidance then whoever, follows My guidance, then not he will go astray and not suffer.
123. Qaalah bita minhaa jamee’am ba’dukum liba’din ‘aduww; fa immaa ya’tiyannakum minnee hudan famanit taba’a hudaaya falaa yadillu wa laa yashqaa
124. وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْ ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنْكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَىٰ
Wa Man ‘A`rađa `An Dhikrī Fa’inna Lahu Ma`īshatan Đankāan Wa Naĥshuruhu Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ‘A`má
20:124  And whoever turns away from My remembrance, then indeed, for him (is) a life straitened and We will gather him (on the) Day (of) the Resurrection blind.”
124. Wa man a’rada ‘an Zikree fa inna lahoo ma’eeshatan dankanw wa nahshuruhoo Yawmal Qiyaamati a’maa
125. قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَرْتَنِي أَعْمَىٰ وَقَدْ كُنْتُ بَصِيرًا
Qāla Rabbi Lima Ĥashartanī ‘A`má Wa Qad Kuntu Başīrāan
20:125  He will say, “My Lord! Why You raised me blind while [verily] I had sight.”
125. Qaala Rabbi lima hashar tanee a’maa wa qad kuntu baseeraa
126. قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ أَتَتْكَ آيَاتُنَا فَنَسِيتَهَا ۖ وَكَذَٰلِكَ الْيَوْمَ تُنْسَىٰ
Qāla Kadhālika Atatka Āyātunā Fanasītahā Wa Kadhalika Al-Yawma Tunsá
20:126  He will say,Thus came to you Our Signs, but you forgot them, and thus today you will be forgotten.
126. Qaala kazaalika atatka Aayaatunaa fanaseetahaa wa kazaalikal Yawma tunsaa
127. وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِنْ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ ۚ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَىٰ
Wa Kadhalika Najzī Man Asrafa Wa Lam Yu’umin Bi’āyāti Rabbihi Wa La`adhābu Al-‘ĀkhiratiAshaddu Wa ‘Abqá
20:127  And thus We recompense (he) who transgresses, and not believes in (the) Signs (of) his Lord. And surely (the) punishment (of) the Hereafter (is) more severe and more lasting.
127. Wa kazaalika najzee man asrafa wa lam yu’min bi Aayaati Rabbih; wa la’azaabul Aakhirati ashaddu wa abqaa
128. أَفَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِنَ الْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِي مَسَاكِنِهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِأُولِي النُّهَىٰ
Afalam Yahdi Lahum Kam Ahlaknā Qablahum Mina Al-Qurūni Yamshūna Masākinihim Inna  Dhālika La’āyātin Li’wlī An-Nuhá
20:128  Then has not it guided [for] them how many We (have) destroyed before them, of the generations, (as) they walk in their dwellings? Indeed, in that surely (are) Signs for possessors (of) intelligence.
128. Afalam yahdi lahum kam ahlaknaa qablahum minal qurooni yamshoona fee masaakinihim; inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil li ulinnuhaa (section 7)
129. وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَكَانَ لِزَامًا وَأَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى
Wa Lawlā Kalimatun Sabaqat Min Rabbika Lakāna Lizāmāan Wa ‘Ajalun Musammáan
20:129  And if not (for) a Word (that) preceded from your Lord, surely (would) have been an obligation and a term determined.
129. Wa law laa Kalimatun sabaqat mir Rabbika lakaana lizaamanw wa ‘ajalun musammaa
130. فَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا ۖ وَمِنْ آنَاءِ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْ وَأَطْرَافَ النَّهَارِ لَعَلَّكَ تَرْضَىٰ
Fāşbir `Alá Yaqūlūna Wa Sabbiĥ Biĥamdi Rabbika Qabla Ţulū`i Ash-Shamsi Wa Qabla Ghurūbihā Wa Min ‘Ānā’i Al-Layli Fasabbiĥ Wa ‘Aţrāfa An-Nahāri La`allaka Tarđá
20:130  So be patient over what they say and glorify with praise (of) your Lord before (the) rising (of) the sun and before its setting; and from (the) hours (of) the night, and glorify (at the) ends (of) the day so that you may be satisfied.
130. Fasbir ‘alaa maa yaqooloona wa sabbih bihamdi Rabbika qabla tuloo’ish shamsi wa qabla ghuroobihaa wa min aanaaa’il laili fasabbih wa atraafan nahaari la ‘allaka tardaa
131. وَلَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِنْهُمْ زَهْرَةَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا لِنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ ۚ وَرِزْقُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ
Wa Lā Tamuddanna `Aynayka Ilá Matta`nā Bihi Azwājāan Minhum Zahrata Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Linaftinahum Fīhi Wa Rizqu Rabbika Khayrun Wa ‘Abqá
20:131  And (do) not extend your eyes towards what We have given for enjoyment [with it], pairs of them (the) splendor (of) the life (of) the world, that We may test them in it. And (the) provision (of) your Lord (is) better and more lasting.
131. Wa laa tamuddanna ‘ainaika ilaa ma matta’na biheee azwajam minhum zahratal hayaatid dunya linaftinahum feeh; wa rizqu Rabbika khairunw wa abqaa
132. وَأْمُرْ أَهْلَكَ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَاصْطَبِرْ عَلَيْهَا ۖ لَا نَسْأَلُكَ رِزْقًا ۖ نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكَ ۗ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ
Wa ‘MurAhlaka Biş-Şalāati Wa Aşţabir `Alayhā Nas’aluka Rizqāan Naĥnu Narzuquka Wa Al-`Āqibatu Lilttaqwá
20:132  And enjoin (on) your family the prayer and be steadfast therein. Not We ask you (for) provision; We provide (for) you, and the outcome (is) for the righteous[ness].
132. Wa’mur ahlaka bis Salaati wastabir ‘alaihaa laa nas’aluka rizqaa; nahnu narzuquk; wal ‘aaqibatu littaqwaa
133. وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا يَأْتِينَا بِآيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ۚ أَوَلَمْ تَأْتِهِمْ بَيِّنَةُ مَا فِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولَىٰ
Wa Qālū Lawlā Ya’tīnā Bi’āyatin Min Rabbihi Awalam Ta’tihim Bayyinatu Fī Aş-Şuĥufi Al-‘Ūlá
20:133  And they say,Why not he brings us a sign from his Lord?Has not come to them evidence (of) what (was) in the Scriptures the former?
133. Wa qaaloo law laa ya’teenaa bi aayatin mir Rabbih; awa lam ta’tihim baiyinatu maa fis suhufil oolaa
134. وَلَوْ أَنَّا أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ لَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا لَوْلَا أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولًا فَنَتَّبِعَ آيَاتِكَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ نَذِلَّ وَنَخْزَىٰ
Wa LawAnnā Ahlaknāhum Bi`adhābin Min Qablihi Laqālū Rabbanā Lawlā Arsalta Ilaynā Rasūlāan Fanattabi`aĀyātika Min Qabli An Nadhilla Wa Nakhzá
20:134  And if We (had) destroyed them with a punishment from before him, surely they (would) have said, “Our Lord, why not You sent to us a Messenger, so we (could) have followed Your signs from before [that] we were humiliated and disgraced.”
134. Wa law annaaa ahlaknaahum bi ‘azaabin min qablihee laqaaloo Rabbanaa law laaa arsalta ilainaa Rasoolan fanattabi’a Aayaatika min qabli an nazilla wa nakhzaa
135. قُلْ كُلٌّ مُتَرَبِّصٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوا ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَصْحَابُ الصِّرَاطِ السَّوِيِّ وَمَنِ اهْتَدَىٰ
Qul Kullun Mutarabbişun Fatarabbaşū Fasata`lamūna Man Aşĥābu Aş-Şirāţi As-Sawīyi Wa Mani Ahtadá
20:135  Say, “Each (is) waiting; so await. Then you will know who (are the) companions (of) the way [the] even, and who is guided.
135. Qul kullum mutarabbisun fa tarabbasoo fa sa ta’lamoona man Ashaabus Siraatis Sawiyyi wa manih tadaa (section 8) (End Juz 16)
