29:1  Alif Laam Meem.

2. أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَنْ يُتْرَكُوا أَنْ يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ
‘Aĥasiba An-NāsuAn Yutrakū An Yaqūlū Āmannā Wa Hum Yuftanūna
29:2  Do think the people that they will be left because they say, “We believe” and they not will be tested?
2. Ahasiban naasu any yutrakooo any yaqoolooo aamannaa wa hum la yuftanoon
3. وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْكَاذِبِينَ
Wa Laqad Fatannā Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Falaya`lamanna Al-Lahu Al-Ladhīna Şadaqū Wa Laya`lamanna Al-Kādhibīna
29:3  And indeed, We tested those who (were) from before them. And will surely make evident Allah those who (are) truthful and He will surely make evident the liars.
3. Wa laqad fatannal lazeena min qablihim fala ya’lamannal laahul lazeena sadaqoo wa la ya’lamannal kaazibeen
4. أَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ أَنْ يَسْبِقُونَا ۚ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ
Am Ĥasiba Al-Ladhīna Ya`malūna As-Sayyi’ātiAn Yasbiqūnā Sā’a Yaĥkumūna
29:4  Or think those who do evil deeds that they can outrun Us. Evil is what they judge.
4. Am hasibal lazeena ya’maloonas sayyiaati any yasbiqoonaa; saaa’a maa yahkumoon
5. مَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ أَجَلَ اللَّهِ لَآتٍ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Man Kāna Yarjū Liqā’a Al-Lahi Fa’innaAjala Al-Lahi La’ātin Wa Huwa As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu
29:5  Whoever [is] hopes (for the) meeting (with) Allah, then indeed, (the) Term (of) Allah (is) surely coming. And He (is) the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
5. Man kaana yarjoo liqaaa ‘allaahi fa inna ajalal laahi la’aat; wa Huwass Sameeul ‘Aleem
6. وَمَنْ جَاهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَاهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa Man Jāhada Fa’innamā Yujāhidu Linafsihi Inna Al-Laha Laghanīyun `Ani Al-`Ālamīna
29:6  And whoever strives then only he strives for himself. Indeed, Allah (is) Free from need of the worlds.
6. Wa man jaahada fainnamaa yujaahidu linafsih; innal laaha laghaniyyun ‘anil ‘aalameen
7. وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَحْسَنَ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Wa Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lanukaffiranna `Anhum Sayyi’ātihim Wa LanajziyannahumAĥsana Al-Ladhī Kānū Ya`malūna
29:7  And those who believe and do righteous (deeds), surely, We will remove from them their evil deeds, and We will surely reward them (the) best (of) what they used (to) do.
7. Wallazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati lanukaf firanna ‘anhum saiyiaatihim wa lanajziyannahum ahsanal lazee kaanoo ya’maloon
8. وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا ۖ وَإِنْ جَاهَدَاكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا ۚ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Wa Waşşaynā Al-‘Insāna Biwālidayhi Ĥusnāan Wa ‘In Jāhadāka Litushrika Laysa Laka Bihi `Ilmun Falā Tuţi`humā ‘Ilayya Marji`ukum Fa’unabbi’ukum Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna
29:8  And We have enjoined (on) man to his parents goodness, but if they both strive against you to make you associate with Me what not you have of it any knowledge, then (do) not obey both of them. To Me (is) your return, and I will inform you about what you used (to) do.
8. Wa wassainal insaana biwaalidaihi husnanw wa in jaahadaaka litushrika bee maa laisa laka bihee ‘ilmun falaa tuti’humaa; ilaiya marji’ukum fa unabbi’ukum bimaa kuntum ta’maloon
9. وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ فِي الصَّالِحِينَ
Wa Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lanudkhilannahum Fī Aş-Şāliĥīna
29:9  And those who believe and do righteous deeds We will surely admit them among the righteous.
9. Wallazeena aamanoo wa’amilus saalihaati lanudkhilan nahum fis saaliheen
10. وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ فَإِذَا أُوذِيَ فِي اللَّهِ جَعَلَ فِتْنَةَ النَّاسِ كَعَذَابِ اللَّهِ وَلَئِنْ جَاءَ نَصْرٌ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّا كُنَّا مَعَكُمْ ۚ أَوَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِمَا فِي صُدُورِ الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa Mina An-Nāsi Man Yaqūlu Āmannā Bil-Lahi Fa’idhā ‘Ūdhiya Fī Al-Lahi Ja`ala Fitnata An-Nāsi Ka`adhābi Al-Lahi Wa La’in Jā’a Naşrun Min Rabbika Layaqūlunna Innā Kunnā Ma`akumAwalaysa Al-Lahu Bi’a`lama Bimā Şudūri Al-`Ālamīna
29:10  And of the people (is he) who says, “We believe in Allah.” But when he is harmed in (the Way of) Allah he considers (the) trial (of) the people as (the) punishment (of) Allah. But if comes victory from your Lord, surely they say,Indeed, we were with you.” Is not Allah most knowing of what (is) in (the) breasts (of) the worlds?
10. Wa minan naasi many yaqoolu aamannaa billaahi faizaaa ooziya fil laahi ja’ala fitnatan naasi ka’azaabil laahi wa la’in jaaa’a nasrum mir Rabbika la yaqoolunna innaa kunnaa ma’akum; awa laisal laahu bi a’lama bimaa fee sudooril ‘aalameen
11. وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ
Wa Laya`lamanna Al-Lahu Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Wa Laya`lamanna Al-Munāfiqīna
29:11  And will surely make evident Allah those who believe, And He will surely make evident the hypocrites.
11. Wa la ya’lamannal laahul lazeena aamanoo wa la ya’lamannal munaafiqeen
12. وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّبِعُوا سَبِيلَنَا وَلْنَحْمِلْ خَطَايَاكُمْ وَمَا هُمْ بِحَامِلِينَ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lilladhīna Āmanū Attabi`ū Sabīlanā Wa Lnaĥmil Khaţāyākum Wa Mā Hum Biĥāmilīna Min Khaţāyāhum Min Shay’in Innahum Lakādhibūna
29:12  And said, those who disbelieve to those who believe, “Follow our way, and we will carry your sins.” But not they (are) going to carry of their sins any thing. Indeed, they (are) surely liars.
12. Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo lillazeena aamanut tabi’oo sabeelanaa walnahmil khataayaakum wa maa hum bihaamileena min khataa yaahum min shai’in innahum lakaaziboon
13. وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ أَثْقَالَهُمْ وَأَثْقَالًا مَعَ أَثْقَالِهِمْ ۖ وَلَيُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَمَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
Wa LayaĥmilunnaAthqālahum Wa ‘Athqālāan Ma`aAthqālihim Wa Layus’alunna Yawma Al-Qiyāmati `Ammā Kānū Yaftarūna
29:13  But surely they will carry their burdens and burdens with their burdens, and surely they will be questioned (on the) Day (of) the Resurrection about what they used (to) invent.
13. Wa la yahmilunna asqaa lahum wa asqaalam ma’a asqaalihim wa la yus’alunna Yawmal Qiyaamati ‘ammaa kaanoo yaftaroon (section 1)
14. وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمْ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمْسِينَ عَامًا فَأَخَذَهُمُ الطُّوفَانُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ
Wa Laqad ‘Arsalnā Nūĥāan Ilá Qawmihi Falabitha Fīhim Alfa Sanatin Illā Khamsīna `Āmāan Fa’akhadhahumu Aţ-Ţūfānu Wa Hum Žālimūn
29:14  And verily, We sent Nuh to his people, and he remained among them a thousand year(s), save fifty year(s), then seized them the flood, while they (were) wrongdoers.
14. Wa laqad arsalnaa Noohan ilaa qawmihee falabisa feehim alfa sanatin illaa khamseena ‘aaman fa akhazahumut toofaanu wa hum zaalimoon
15. فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَأَصْحَابَ السَّفِينَةِ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا آيَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
Fa’anjaynāhu Wa ‘Aşĥāba As-Safīnati Wa Ja`alnāhā ‘Āyatan Lil`ālamīna
29:15  But We saved him and (the) people (of) the ship, and We made it a Sign for the worlds.
15. Fa anjainaahu wa as haabas safeenati wa ja’alnaahaaa Aayatal lil’aalameen
16. وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاتَّقُوهُ ۖ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
Wa ‘IbrāhīmaIdh Qāla Liqawmihi A`budū Al-Laha Wa Attaqūhu Dhālikum Khayrun Lakum In Kuntum Ta`lamūna
29:16  And Ibrahim when he said to his people,Worship Allah and fear Him. That (is) better for you if you know.
16. Wa Ibraheema iz qaala liqawmihi’ budul laaha wattaqoohu zaalikum khayrul lakum in kuntum ta’lamoon
17. إِنَّمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَانًا وَتَخْلُقُونَ إِفْكًا ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لَكُمْ رِزْقًا فَابْتَغُوا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الرِّزْقَ وَاعْبُدُوهُ وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُ ۖ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
Innamā Ta`budūna Min Dūni Al-Lahi ‘Awthānāan Wa TakhluqūnaIfkāan Inna Al-Ladhīna Ta`budūna Min Dūni Al-Lahi Yamlikūna Lakum Rizqāan Fābtaghū `Inda Al-Lahi Ar-Rizqa Wa A`budūhu Wa Ashkurū Lahu Ilayhi Turja`ūna
29:17  Only you worship from besides Allah idols, and you create falsehood. Indeed, those whom you worship from besides Allah (do) not possess for you any provision. So seek from Allah the provision and worship Him and be grateful to Him. To Him you will be returned.
17. Innamaa ta’budoona min doonil laahi awsaananw-wa takhluqoona ifkaa; innal lazeena ta’budoona min doonil laahi laa yamlikoona lakum rizqan fabtaghoo ‘indal laahir rizqa wa’budoohu washkuroo lahooo ilaihi turja’oon
18. وَإِنْ تُكَذِّبُوا فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أُمَمٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ ۖ وَمَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ
Wa ‘In Tukadhdhibū Faqad Kadhdhaba Umamun Min Qablikum Wa Mā `Alá Ar-Rasūli Illā Al-Balāghu Al-Mubīnu
29:18  And if you deny then verily, denied (the) nations from before you. And not (is) on the Messenger except the conveyance clear.”
18. Wa in tukazziboo faqad kazzaba umamum min qablikum wa maa’alar Rasooli illal balaaghul mubeen
19. أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَيْفَ يُبْدِئُ اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ
Awalam Yaraw Kayfa Yubdi’u Al-Lahu Al-Khalqa Thumma Yu`īduhu ‘Inna Dhālika `Alá Al-Lahi Yasīrun
29:19  Do not they see how originates Allah the creation then repeats it? Indeed, that for Allah (is) easy.
19. Awa lam yaraw kaifa yubdi’ul laahul khalqa summa yu’eeduh; inna zaalika ‘alal laahi yaseer
20. قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ بَدَأَ الْخَلْقَ ۚ ثُمَّ اللَّهُ يُنْشِئُ النَّشْأَةَ الْآخِرَةَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Qul Sīrū Fī Al-‘Arđi Fānžurū Kayfa Bada’a Al-Khalqa Thumma Al-Lahu Yunshi’u An-Nash’ata Al-‘ĀkhirataInna Al-Laha `Alá Kulli Shay’in Qadīrun
29:20  Say, “Travel in the earth and see how He originated the creation, Then Allah will produce the creation the last. Indeed, Allah on every thing (is) All-Powerful.
20. Qul seeroo fil ardi fanzuroo kaifa bada al khalqa thumm Allahu yunshi”un nash atal Aakhirah; innal laaha ‘alaa kulli shai’in Qadeer
21. يُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَرْحَمُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ تُقْلَبُونَ
Yu`adhdhibu Man Yashā’u Wa Yarĥamu Man Yashā’u Wa ‘Ilayhi Tuqlabūna
29:21  He punishes whom He wills and has mercy (on) whom He wills, and to Him you will be returned.
21. Yu’azzibu many yashaaa’u wa yarhamu many yashaaa’; wa ilaihi tuqlaboon
22. وَمَا أَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ ۖ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
Wa Mā ‘Antum Bimu`jizīna  Al-‘Arđi Wa Lā Fī As-Samā’i Wa Mā Lakum Min Dūni Al-Lahi Min Wa Līyin Wa Lā Naşīrin
29:22  And not you can escape in the earth and not in the heaven. And not for you from besides Allah any protector and not a helper.
22. Wa maaa antum bimu’jizeena fil ardi wa laa fissamaaa’i wa maa lakum min doonil laahi minw waliyyinw wa laa naseer (section 2)
23. وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَلِقَائِهِ أُولَٰئِكَ يَئِسُوا مِنْ رَحْمَتِي وَأُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bi’āyāti Al-Lahi Wa Liqā’ihiŪlā’ika Ya’isū Min Raĥmatī Wa ‘Ūlā’ika Lahum `Adhābun Alīmun
29:23  And those who disbelieve in (the) Signs (of) Allah and (the) meeting (with) Him, those (have) despaired of My Mercy. And those, for them (is) a punishment painful.
23. Wallazeena kafaroo bi Aayaatil laahi wa liqaaa’iheee ulaaa’ika ya’isoo mir rahmatee wa ulaaa’ika lahum ‘azaabun aleem
24. فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا اقْتُلُوهُ أَوْ حَرِّقُوهُ فَأَنْجَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Famā Kāna Jawāba Qawmihi Illā An Qālū Aqtulūhu Aw Ĥarriqūhu Fa’anjāhu Al-Lahu Mina An-Nāri Inna Fī Dhālika La’āyātin Liqawmin Yu’uminūna
29:24  And not was (the) answer (of) his people except that they said,Kill him or burn him.But saved him Allah from the fire. Indeed, in that, surely (are) Signs for a people who believe.
24. Famaa kaana jawaaba qawmiheee illaaa an qaaluqtuloohu aw harriqoohu fa anjaahul laahu minan naar; inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil li qawminy yu’minoon
25. وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا اتَّخَذْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَانًا مَوَدَّةَ بَيْنِكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُ بَعْضُكُمْ بِبَعْضٍ وَيَلْعَنُ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا وَمَأْوَاكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ
Wa Qāla Innamā Attakhadhtum Min Dūni Al-Lahi Awthānāan Mawaddata Baynikum Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Thumma Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Yakfuru Ba`đukum Biba`đin Wa Yal`anu Ba`đukum Ba`đāan Wa Ma’wākumu An-Nāru Wa Mā Lakum Min Nāşirīna
29:25  And he said, Only you have taken from besides Allah idols (out of) love among you in the life (of) the world. Then (on the) Day (of) the Resurrection you will deny some of you (to) one another and curse some of you (to) one another, and your abode (will be) the Fire and not for you any helpers.”
25. Wa qaala innamat takhaz tum min doonil laahi awsaanam mawaddata bainikum fil hayaatid dunyaa summa Yawmal Qiyaamati yakfuru ba’dukum biba’dinw wa yal’anu ba’dukum ba’danw wa ma’waakumun Naaru wa maa lakum min naasireen
26. فَآمَنَ لَهُ لُوطٌ ۘ وَقَالَ إِنِّي مُهَاجِرٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Fa’āmana Lahu Lūţun Wa Qāla Innī Muhājirun Ilá Rabbī Innahu Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu
29:26  And believed [in] him Lut, and he said, “Indeed I (am) emigrating to my Lord. Indeed, He [He] (is) the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
26. Fa aamana lahoo Loot; wa qaala innee muhajirun ilaa Rabbee innahoo Huwal ‘Azeezul Hakeem
27. وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِ النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتَابَ وَآتَيْنَاهُ أَجْرَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Wa Wahabnā Lahu Isĥāqa Wa Ya`qūba Wa Ja`alnā Fī Dhurrīyatihi An-Nubūwata Wa Al-Kitāba Wa ‘Ātaynāhu ‘Ajrahu Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa ‘Innahu Fī Al-‘Ākhirati Lamina Aş-Şāliĥīn
29:27  And We granted to him Ishaq and Yaqub and We placed in his offsprings the Prophethood and the Book. And We gave him his reward in the world. And indeed, he in the Hereafter (is) surely, among the righteous.
27. Wa wahabnaa lahoo Ishaaqa wa Ya’Qooba wa ja’alnaa fee zurriyyatihin Nubuwwata wal Kitaaba wa aatainaahu ajrahoo fid dunyaa wa innahoo fil aakhirati laminas saaliheen
28. وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُمْ بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa LūţāanIdh Qāla Liqawmihi Innakum Lata’tūna Al-Fāĥishata Sabaqakum Bihā Min Aĥadin Mina Al-`Ālamīna
29:28  And Lut, when he said to his people,Indeed, you commit the immorality, not has preceded you with it any one from the worlds.
28. Wa Lootan iz qaala liqawmiheee innakum la ta’toonal faahishata maa sabaqakum bihaa min ahadin minal ‘aalameen
29. أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُونَ السَّبِيلَ وَتَأْتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ الْمُنْكَرَ ۖ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
‘A’innakum Lata’tūna Ar-Rijāla Wa Taqţa`ūna As-Sabīla Wa Ta’tūna Nādīkumu Al-Munkara Famā Kāna Jawāba Qawmihi Illā An Qālū A’tinā Bi`adhābi Al-Lahi ‘In Kunta Mina Aş-Şādiqīna
29:29  Indeed, you approach the men, and you cut off the road and commit in your meetings evil?” And not was (the) answer (of) his people except that they said,Bring upon us (the) punishment (of) Allah if you are of the truthful.”
29. A’innakum la ta’toonar rijaala wa taqta’oonas sabeela wa ta’toona fee naadeekumul munkara famaa kaana jawaaba qawmiheee illaaa an qaalu’ tinaaa bi’azaabil laahi in kunta minas saadiqeen
30. قَالَ رَبِّ انْصُرْنِي عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Qāla Rabbi Anşurnī `Alá Al-Qawmi Al-Mufsidīna
29:30  He said,My Lord! Help me against the people the corrupters.
30. Qaala Rabbin surnee ‘alal qawmil mufsideen (section 3)
31. وَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ بِالْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوا إِنَّا مُهْلِكُو أَهْلِ هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ ۖ إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا ظَالِمِينَ
Wa Lammā Jā’at Rusulunā Ibrāhīma Bil-Bushrá Qālū Innā Muhlikū Ahli Hadhihi Al-QaryatiInna Ahlahā Kānū Žālimīna
29:31  And when came Our messengers (to) Ibrahim with the glad tidings they said,Indeed, we (are) going to destroy (the) people (of) this town. Indeed, its people are wrongdoers.”
31.  Wa lammaa jaaa’at Rusulunaaa Ibraaheema bil bushraa qaalooo innaa muhlikoo ahli haazihil qaryati inna ahlahaa kaanoo zaalimeen
32. قَالَ إِنَّ فِيهَا لُوطًا ۚ قَالُوا نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ فِيهَا ۖ لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
Qāla Inna Fīhā Lūţāan Qālū Naĥnu ‘A`lamu Biman Fīhā Lanunajjiyannahu Wa ‘Ahlahu ‘Illā Amra’atahu Kānat Mina Al-Ghābirīn
29:32  He said,Indeed, in it (is) Lut.” They said,We know better who (is) in it. We will surely save him and his family, except his wife. She (is) of those who remain behind.”
32. Qaala inna feeha Lootaa; qaaloo nahnu a’lamu biman feehaa lanunajjjiyannahoo wa ahlahooo illam ra atahoo kaanat minal ghaabireen
33. وَلَمَّا أَنْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطًا سِيءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعًا وَقَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ ۖ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَكَ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
Wa Lammā ‘An Jā’at Rusulunā Lūţāan Sī’a Bihim Wa Đāqa Bihim Dhar`āan Wa Qālū Takhaf Wa Lā Taĥzan Innā Munajjūka Wa ‘AhlakaIllā Amra’ataka Kānat Mina Al-Ghābirīna
29:33  And when [that] came Our messengers (to) Lut he was distressed for them, and felt straitened for them (and) uneasy. And they said, “(Do) not fear and (do) not grieve. Indeed, we (will) save you and your family, except your wife. She (is) of those who remain behind.
33. Wa lammaaa an jaaa’at Rusulunaa Lootan seee’a bihim wa daaqa bihim zar’anw wa qaaloo laa takhaf wa laa tahzan innaa munajjooka wa ahlaka illam ra ataka kaanat minal ghaabireen
34. إِنَّا مُنْزِلُونَ عَلَىٰ أَهْلِ هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ رِجْزًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ
Innā Munzilūna `Alá Ahli Hadhihi Al-Qaryati Rijzāan Mina As-Samā’i Bimā Kānū Yafsuqūna
29:34  Indeed, we (will) bring down on (the) people (of) this town a punishment from (the) sky, because they have been defiantly disobedient.
34. Innaa munziloona ‘alaaa ahli haazihil qaryati rijzan minas samaaa’i bimaa kaanoo yafsuqoon
35. وَلَقَدْ تَرَكْنَا مِنْهَا آيَةً بَيِّنَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
Wa Laqad Taraknā Minhā Āyatan Bayyinatan Liqawmin Ya`qilūna
29:35  And verily, We have left about it a sign, (as) evidence for a people who use reason.
35. Wa laqad taraknaa min haaa aayatan baiyinatan liqawminy ya’qiloon
36. وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَارْجُوا الْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ
Wa ‘Ilá Madyana Akhāhum Shu`aybāan Faqāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Al-Laha Wa Arjū Al-Yawma Al-‘Ākhira Wa Lā Ta`thaw Fī Al-‘Arđi Mufsidīn
29:36  And to Madyan their brother Shuaib. And he said,O my people! Worship Allah and expect the Day the Last, and (do) not commit evil in the earth (as) corrupters.”
36. Wa ilaa Madyana akhaahum Shu’ayban faqaala yaa qawmi’-budul laaha warjul yawmal aakhira wa laa ta’saw fil ardi mufsideen
37. فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ
Fakadhdhabūhu Fa’akhadhat/humu Ar-Rajfatu Fa’aşbaĥū Dārihim Jāthimīna
29:37  But they denied him, so seized them the earthquake, and they became in their home fallen prone.
37. Fakazzaboohu fa akhazat humur rajfatu fa asbahoo fee daarihim jaasimeen
38. وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَقَدْ تَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ مِنْ مَسَاكِنِهِمْ ۖ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَكَانُوا مُسْتَبْصِرِينَ
Wa `Ādāan Wa Thamūda Wa Qad Tabayyana Lakum Min Masākinihim Wa Zayyana Lahumu Ash-ShayţānuA`mālahum Faşaddahum `Ani As-Sabīli Wa Kānū Mustabşirīna
29:38  And Aad and Thamud, and verily, (has) become clear to you from their dwellings. And made fair-seeming to them the Shaitaan their deeds and averted them from the Way, though they were endowed with insight.
38. Wa ‘Aadanw wa Samooda wa qad tabaiyana lakum min masaakinihim wa zaiyana lahumush Shaitaanu a’maalahum fasaddahum ‘anis sabeeli wa kaanoo mustabsireen
39. وَقَارُونَ وَفِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ ۖ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ مُوسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانُوا سَابِقِينَ
Wa Qārūna Wa Fir`awna Wa Hāmāna Wa Laqad Jā’ahum Mūsá Bil-Bayyināti Fāstakbarū Fī Al-‘Arđi Wa Mā Kānū Sābiqīna
29:39  And Qarun, and Firaun and Haman. And certainly came to them Musa with clear evidences, but they were arrogant in the earth, and not they could outstrip Us.
39. Wa Qaaroona wa Fir’awna wa haamaana wa laqad jaaa’ahum Moosa bilbaiyinaati fastakbaroo fil ardi wa maa kaanoo saabiqeen
40. فَكُلًّا أَخَذْنَا بِذَنْبِهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ حَاصِبًا وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَخَذَتْهُ الصَّيْحَةُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ خَسَفْنَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَغْرَقْنَا ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
Fakullāan Akhadhnā Bidhanbihi Faminhum Man Arsalnā `Alayhi Ĥāşibāan Wa Minhum Man Akhadhat/hu Aş-Şayĥatu Wa Minhum Man Khasafnā Bihi Al-‘Arđa Wa Minhum Man Aghraqnā Wa Mā Kāna Al-Lahu Liyažlimahum Wa Lakin Kānū Anfusahum Yažlimūna
29:40  So each We seized for his sin. Then of them (was he) who, We sent on him a violent storm, and of them (was he) who, seized him the awful cry and of them (was he) who, We caused to swallow him, the earth and of them (was he) who, We drowned. And not was Allah to wrong them but they were themselves doing wrong.
40. Fakullan akhaznaa bi zanbihee faminhum man arsalnaa ‘alaihi haasibaa; wa minhum man akhazat hus saihatu wa minhum man khasafnaa bihil arda wa minhum man aghraqnaa; wa maa kaanal laahu li yazlimahum wa laakin kaanoo anfusahum yazlimoon
41. مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ كَمَثَلِ الْعَنْكَبُوتِ اتَّخَذَتْ بَيْتًا ۖ وَإِنَّ أَوْهَنَ الْبُيُوتِ لَبَيْتُ الْعَنْكَبُوتِ ۖ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
Mathalu Al-Ladhīna Attakhadhū Min Dūni Al-Lahi ‘Awliyā’a Kamathali Al-`Ankabūti Attakhadhat Baytāan Wa ‘InnaAwhana Al-Buyūti Labaytu Al-`Ankabūti Law Kānū Ya`lamūna
29:41  (The) example (of) those who take from besides Allah protectors (is) like the spider who takes a house. And indeed, the weakest (of) houses (is) surely (the) house (of) the spider, if (only) they know.
41. Masalul lazeenat takhazoo min doonil laahi awliyaaa’a kamasalil ‘ankaboot, ittakhazat baitaa; wa inna awhanal buyooti la baitul ‘ankaboot; law kaanoo ya’lamoon
42. إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Inna Al-Laha Ya`lamu Yad`ūna Min Dūnihi Min Shay’in Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu
29:42  Indeed, Allah knows what they invoke from besides Him any thing. And He (is) the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
42. Innal laaha ya’lamu maa yad’oona min doonihee min shai’; wa Huwal ‘Azeezul Hakeem
43. وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ ۖ وَمَا يَعْقِلُهَا إِلَّا الْعَالِمُونَ
Wa Tilka Al-‘Amthālu Nađribuhā Lilnnāsi Wa Mā Ya`qiluhā ‘Illā Al-`Ālimūna
29:43  And these examples We set forth to mankind, but not will understand them except those of knowledge.
43. Wa tilkal amsaalu nadribuhaa linnaasi wa maa ya’qiluhaaa illal ‘aalimoon
44. خَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Khalaqa Al-Lahu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđa Bil-ĤaqqiInna Fī Dhālika La’āyatan Lilmu’uminīna
29:44  created Allah the heavens and the earth in truth. Indeed, in that (is) surely a Sign for the believers.
44. Khalaqal laahus samaawaati wal arda bilhaqq; inna fee zaalika la aayatan lil mu’mineen (section 4)
45. اتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ ۖ إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ تَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ ۗ وَلَذِكْرُ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَصْنَعُونَ
Atlu Mā Ūĥiya Ilayka Mina Al-Kitābi Wa ‘Aqimu Aş-ŞalāataInna Aş-Şalāata Tanhá `Ani Al-Faĥshā’i Wa Al-Munkari Wa Ladhikru Al-Lahi ‘Akbaru Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu Taşna`ūna
29:45  Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book, and establish the prayer. Indeed, the prayer prevents from the immorality and evil deeds, and surely (the) remembrance (of) Allah (is) greatest. And Allah knows what you do.
45. Utlu maaa oohiya ilaika minal Kitaabi wa aqimis Salaata innas Salaata tanhaa ‘anil fahshaaa’i wal munkar; wa lazikrul laahi akbar; wal laahu ya’lamu maa tasna’oon (End Juz 20)
46. وَلَا تُجَادِلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَقُولُوا آمَنَّا بِالَّذِي أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَأُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَإِلَٰهُنَا وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ
Wa Lā Tujādilū Ahla Al-KitābiIllā Bi-Atī Hiya Aĥsanu Illā Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Minhum Wa Qūlū Āmannā Bial-Ladhī ‘Unzila Ilaynā Wa ‘UnzilaIlaykum Wa ‘Ilahunā Wa ‘Ilahukum Wāĥidun Wa Naĥnu Lahu Muslimūna
29:46  And (do) not argue (with the) People (of) the Book except by which [it] (is) best, except those who (do) wrong among them, and say,We believe in that (which) has been revealed to us and was revealed to you. And our God and your God (is) One, and we to Him submit.”
46. Wa laa tujaadilooo Ahlal Kitaabi illaa billatee hiya ahsanu illal lazeena zalamoo minhum wa qoolooo aamannaa billazeee unzila ilainaa wa unzila ilaikum wa illaahunna wa ilahukum waahidunw-wa nahnu lahoo muslimoon
47. وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ ۚ فَالَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ ۖ وَمِنْ هَٰؤُلَاءِ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ ۚ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَّا الْكَافِرُونَ
Wa KadhalikaAnzalnā Ilayka Al-Kitāba Fa-Al-LadhīnaĀtaynāhumu Al-Kitāba Yu’uminūna Bihi Wa Min Hā’uulā’ Man Yu’uminu Bihi Wa Mā Yajĥadu Bi’āyātinā ‘Illā Al-Kāfirūna
29:47  And thus We (have) revealed to you the Book. So those We gave [them] the Book believe therein. And among these (are some) who believe therein. And none reject Our Verses except the disbelievers.
47. Wa kazaalika anzalnaaa ilaikal Kitaab; fallazeena aatainaahumul kitaaba yu’minoona bihee wa min haaa’ulaaa’i many yu’minu bih; wa maa yajhadu bi’Aayaatinaa illal kaafiroon
48. وَمَا كُنْتَ تَتْلُو مِنْ قَبْلِهِ مِنْ كِتَابٍ وَلَا تَخُطُّهُ بِيَمِينِكَ ۖ إِذًا لَارْتَابَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ
Wa Mā Kunta Tatlū Min Qablihi Min Kitābin Wa Lā Takhuţţuhu Biyamīnika Idhāan Lārtāba Al-Mubţilūna
29:48  And not (did) you recite from before it, any Book, and not (did) you write it with your right hand, in that case surely (would) have doubted the falsifiers.
48. Wa maa kunta tatloo min qablihee min kitaabinw wa laa takhuttubhoo bi yameenika izal lartaabal mubtiloon
49. بَلْ هُوَ آيَاتٌ بَيِّنَاتٌ فِي صُدُورِ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ ۚ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَّا الظَّالِمُونَ
Bal Huwa Āyātun Bayyinātun  Şudūri Al-LadhīnaŪtū Al-`Ilma Wa Mā Yajĥadu Bi’āyātinā Illā Až-Žālimūna
29:49  Nay, it (is) Verses clear in (the) breasts (of) those who are given the knowledge. And not reject Our Verses except the wrongdoers.
49. Bal huwa aayaatum baiyinaatun fee sudooril lazeena ootul ‘ilm; wa maa yajhadu bi aayaatinaa illaz zaalimoon
50. وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا الْآيَاتُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَا أَنَا نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ
Wa Qālū Lawlā Unzila `Alayhi Āyātun Min Rabbihi Qul Innamā Al-‘Āyātu `Inda Al-Lahi Wa ‘Innamā ‘Anā Nadhīrun Mubīnun
29:50  And they say,Why not are sent down to him (the) Signs from his Lord?” Say, “Only the Signs (are) with Allah, and only I (am) a warner clear.”
50. Wa qaaloo law laaa unzila ‘alaihi aayaatum mir Rabbihee qul innamal aayaatu ‘indal laahi wa innamaaa ana nazeerum mubeen
51. أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَرَحْمَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Awalam Yakfihim Annā Anzalnā `Alayka Al-Kitāba Yutlá `Alayhim Inna Fī Dhālika Laraĥmatan Wa Dhikrá Liqawmin Yu’uminūna
29:51  And is (it) not sufficient for them that We revealed to you the Book (which) is recited to them? Indeed, in that, surely is a mercy and a reminder for a people who believe.
51. Awa lam yakfihim annaaa anzalnaa ‘alaikal kitaaba yutlaa ‘alaihim; inna fee zaalika larahmatanw wa zikraa liqawminy yu’minoon (section 5)
52. قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ شَهِيدًا ۖ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ وَكَفَرُوا بِاللَّهِ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
Qul Kafá Bil-Lahi Baynī Wa Baynakum Shahīdāan Ya`lamu Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđi Wa Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Bil-Bāţili Wa Kafarū Bil-LahiŪlā’ika Humu Al-Khāsirūna
29:52  Say, “Sufficient is Allah between me and between you (as) a Witness. He knows what (is) in the heavens and the earth. And those who believe in [the] falsehood and disbelieve in Allah, those, they (are) the losers.
52. Qul kafaa billaahi bainee wa bainakum shaheedaa; ya’lamu maa fis samaawaati wal ard; wallazeena aamanoo bil baatili wa kafaroo billaahi ulaaa’ika humul khaasiroon
53. وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ ۚ وَلَوْلَا أَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى لَجَاءَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Wa Yasta`jilūnaka Bil-`Adhābi Wa Lawlā ‘Ajalun Musammáan Lajā’ahumu Al-`Adhābu Wa Laya’tiyannahum Baghtatan Wa Hum Yash`urūna
29:53  And they ask you to hasten [with] the punishment. And if not (for) a term appointed, surely (would) have come to them the punishment. But it will surely come to them suddenly while they (do) not perceive.
53. Wa yasta’jiloonaka bil’azaab; wa law laaa ajalum musammal lajaaa’ahumul a’zaab; wa la ya’tiannahum baghta tanw wa hum laa yash’uroon
54. يَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌ بِالْكَافِرِينَ
Yasta`jilūnaka Bil-`Adhābi Wa ‘Inna Jahannama Lamuĥīţatun Bil-Kāfirīna
29:54  They ask you to hasten the punishment. And indeed, Hell, will surely, encompass the disbelievers
54. Yasta’jiloonaka bil’azaab; wa inna Jahannama la muheetatum bil kaafireen
55. يَوْمَ يَغْشَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِنْ تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِمْ وَيَقُولُ ذُوقُوا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Yawma Yaghshāhumu Al-`Adhābu Min Fawqihim Wa Min Taĥti Arjulihim Wa Yaqūlu Dhūqū Kuntum Ta`malūna
29:55  On (the) Day will cover them the punishment from above them and from below their feet, and He will say,Taste what you used (to) do.”
55. Yawma yaghshaahumul ‘azaabu min fawqihim wa min tahti arjulihim wa yaqoolu zooqoo maa kuntum ta’maloon
56. يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ أَرْضِي وَاسِعَةٌ فَإِيَّايَ فَاعْبُدُونِ
Yā `Ibādiya Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Inna Arđī Wāsi`atun Fa’īyāya Fā`budūni
29:56  O My servants who believe! Indeed, My earth (is) spacious, so only worship Me.
56. Yaa ‘ibaadiyal lazeena aamanooo inna ardee waasi ‘atun fa iyyaaya fa’budoon
57. كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ
Kullu Nafsin Dhā’iqatu Al-Mawti Thumma Ilaynā Turja`ūna
29:57  Every soul (will) taste the death. Then to Us you will be returned.
57. Kullu nafsin zaaa’iqatul mawti summa ilainaa turja’oon
58. وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ نِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعَامِلِينَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lanubawwi’annahum Mina Al-Jannati Ghurafāan Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-‘Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Ni`ma Ajru Al-`Āmilīna
29:58  And those who believe and do [the] righteous deeds, surely We will give them a place in Paradise lofty dwellings, flow from underneath it the rivers, will abide forever in it. Excellent is (the) reward (of) the workers
58. Wallazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati la nubawwi ‘annahum minal Jannati ghurafan tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa; ni’ma ajrul ‘aamileen
59. الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
Al-Ladhīna Şabarū Wa `Alá Rabbihim Yatawakkalūna
29:59  Those who (are) patient and upon their Lord put their trust.
59. Allazeena sabaroo wa ‘alaa Rabbihim yatawakkaloon
60. وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ دَابَّةٍ لَا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَا اللَّهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Wa Ka’ayyin Min Dābbatin  Taĥmilu Rizqahā Al-Lahu Yarzuquhā Wa ‘Īyākum Wa Huwa As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu
29:60  And how many of a creature (does) not carry its provision. Allah provides (for) it and (for) you. And He (is) the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
60. Wa ka ayyim min daaabbatil laa tahmilu rizqahaa; al laahu yarzuquhaa wa iyyaakum; wa Huwas Samee’ul Aleem
61. وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
Wa La’in Sa’altahum Man Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđa Wa Sakhkhara Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Layaqūlunna Al-Lahu Fa’annā Yu’ufakūna
29:61  And if you ask them, “Who created the heavens and the earth, and subjected the sun and the moon?Surely they would sayAllah.” Then how are they deluded?
61. Wa la’in sa altahum man khalaqas samaawaati wal arda wa sakhkharash shamsa wal qamara la yaqoolunnal laahu fa anna yu’fakoon
62. اللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
Al-Lahu Yabsuţu Ar-Rizqa Liman Yashā’u Min `Ibādihi Wa Yaqdiru Lahu Inna Al-Laha Bikulli Shay’in `Alīmun
29:62  Allah extends the provision for whom He wills of His slaves and restricts for him. Indeed, Allah of every thing (is) All-Knower.
62. Allaahu yabsutur rizqa limany yashaaa’u min ‘ibaadihee wa yaqdiru lah; innal laaha bikulli shai’in Aleem
63. وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ نَزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَوْتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۚ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
Wa La’in Sa’altahum Man Nazzala Mina As-Samā’i Mā’an Fa’aĥyā Bihi Al-‘Arđa Min Ba`di Mawtihā Layaqūlunna Al-Lahu Quli Al-Ĥamdu Lillahi Bal Aktharuhum Ya`qilūna
29:63  And if you ask them, “Who sends down from the sky water and gives life thereby (to) the earth from after its death?” Surely, they would say,Allah.” Say, “All Praises (are) for Allah.” But most of them (do) not use reason.
63. Wa la’in sa altahum man nazzala minas samaaa’i maaa’an fa ahyaa bihil arda min ba’di mawtihaa la yaqoolunnal laah; qulil hamdu lillah; bal aksaruhum laa ya’qiloon (section 6)
64. وَمَا هَٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَهْوٌ وَلَعِبٌ ۚ وَإِنَّ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ لَهِيَ الْحَيَوَانُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Mā Hadhihi Al-Ĥayāatu Ad-Dunyā ‘Illā Lahwun Wa La`ibun Wa ‘Inna Ad-Dāra Al-‘Ākhirata Lahiya Al-Ĥayawānu Law Kānū Ya`lamūna
29:64  And not (is) this life (of) the world but amusement and play. And indeed, the Home (of) the Hereaftersurely, it (is) the life, if only they know.
64. Wa maa haazihil hayaa tud dunyaaa illaa lahwunw-wa la’ib; wa innad Daaral Aakhirata la hiyal ha yawaan; law kaano ya’lamoon
65. فَإِذَا رَكِبُوا فِي الْفُلْكِ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاهُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ إِذَا هُمْ يُشْرِكُونَ
Fa’idhā Rakibū Fī Al-Fulki Da`aw Al-Laha Mukhlişīna Lahu Ad-Dīna Falammā Najjāhum Ilá Al-Barri Idhā Hum Yushrikūna
29:65  And when they embark [in] the ship, they call Allah (being) sincere to Him (in) the religion. But when He delivers them to the land, behold, they associate partners (with Him)
65. Fa-izaa rakiboo fil fulki da’awul laaha mukhliseena lahud deena falammaa najjaa hum ilal barri izaa hum yushrikoon
66. لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
Liyakfurū Bimā Ātaynāhum Wa Liyatamatta`ū Fasawfa Ya`lamūna
29:66  So that they may deny [in] what We have given them, and they may enjoy (themselves). But soon they will know.
66. Li yakfuroo bimaaa aatainaahum wa li yatamatta’oo fasaw fa ya’lamoon
67. أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا حَرَمًا آمِنًا وَيُتَخَطَّفُ النَّاسُ مِنْ حَوْلِهِمْ ۚ أَفَبِالْبَاطِلِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَبِنِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ يَكْفُرُونَ
‘Awalam Yaraw Annā Ja`alnā Ĥaramāan Āmināan Wa Yutakhaţţafu An-Nāsu Min Ĥawlihim Afabiālbāţili Yu’uminūna Wa Bini`mati Al-Lahi Yakfurūna
29:67  Do not they see that We have made a Sanctuary secure while are being taken away the people from around them? Then do in (the) falsehood they believe and in (the) Favor (of) Allah they disbelieve?
67. Awalam yaraw annaa ja’alnaa haraman aaminanw wa yutakhattafun naasu min haw lihim; afabil baatili yu’minoona wa bini’matil laahi yakfuroon
68. وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُ ۚ أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِلْكَافِرِينَ
Wa Man Ažlamu Mimmani Aftará `Alá Al-Lahi Kadhibāan Aw Kadhdhaba Bil-Ĥaqqi Lammā Jā’ahu ‘Alaysa Jahannama Mathwáan Lilkāfirīna
29:68  And who (is) more unjust than (he) who invents against Allah a lie or denies the truth when it has come to him. Is there not in Hell an abode for the disbelievers?
68. Wa man azlamu mimma nif taraa ‘alal laahi kaziban aw kazzaba bilhaqqi lammaa jaaa’ah; alaisa fee jahannama maswal lil kaafireen
69. وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Jāhadū Fīnā Lanahdiyannahum Subulanā Wa ‘Inna Al-Laha Lama`a Al-Muĥsinīna
29:69  And those who strive for Us, We will surely, guide them (to) Our ways. And indeed, Allah surely (is) with the good-doers.
69. Wallazeena jaahadoo feenaa lanahdiyannahum subulana; wa innal laaha lama’al muhsineen (section 7)
