1. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ
Al-Ĥamdu Lillahi Al-Ladhī Lahu  As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-‘Arđi Wa Lahu Al-Ĥamdu Fī Al-‘Ākhirati Wa Huwa Al-Ĥakīmu Al-Khabīru
34:1  All praises (be) to Allah the One to Whom (belongs) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth, and for Him (are) all praises In the Hereafter. And He (is) the All-Wise, the All-Aware.
1. Alhamdu lillaahil lazee lahoo maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi wa lahul hamdu fil aakhirah; wa Huwal Hakeemul Khabeer
2. يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا ۚ وَهُوَ الرَّحِيمُ الْغَفُورُ
Ya`lamu Yaliju Fī Al-‘Arđi Wa Mā Yakhruju Minhā Wa Mā Yanzilu Mina As-Samā’i Wa Mā Ya`ruju Fīhā Wa Huwa Ar-Raĥīmu Al-Ghafūru
34:2  He knows what penetrates in the earth and what comes out from it, and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein. And He (is) the Most Merciful, the Oft-Forgiving.
2. Ya’lamu maa yaliju fil ardi wa maa yakhruju minhaa wa maa yanzilu minas samaaa’i wa maa ya’ruju feehaa; wa Huwar Raheemul Ghafoor
3. وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَأْتِينَا السَّاعَةُ ۖ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّي لَتَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ ۖ لَا يَعْزُبُ عَنْهُ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا أَصْغَرُ مِنْ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَا أَكْبَرُ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Ta’tīnā As-Sā`atu Qul Balá Wa Rabbī Lata’tiyannakum `Ālimi Al-Ghaybi Ya`zubu `Anhu Mithqālu Dharratin Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Lā Fī Al-‘Arđi Wa Lā Aşgharu Min Dhālika Wa Lā ‘Akbaru Illā Kitābin Mubīnin
34:3  But say those who disbelieve, “Not will come to us the Hour.Say, “Nay, by my Lord surely it will come to you. (He is the) Knower (of) the unseen.” Not escapes from Him (the) weight (of) an atom in the heavens and not in the earth and not smaller than that and not greater, but (is) in a Record Clear.
3. Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo laa taateenas Saa’ah; qul balaa wa Rabbee lataatiyannakum ‘Aalimul Ghaib; laa ya’zubu ‘anhu misqaalu zarratin fis samaawaati wa laa fil ardi wa laaa asgharu min zaalika wa laaa akbaru illaa fee kitaabim mubeen
4. لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ
Liyajziya Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti ‘Ūlā’ika Lahum Maghfiratun Wa Rizqun Karīmun
34:4  That He may reward those who believe and do righteous deeds. Those for them (will be) forgiveness and a provision noble.
4. Liyajziyal lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaat; ulaaa’ika lahum maghfiratunw wa rizqun kareem
5. وَالَّذِينَ سَعَوْا فِي آيَاتِنَا مُعَاجِزِينَ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِنْ رِجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Sa`aw Fī Āyātinā Mu`ājizīna ‘Ūlā’ika Lahum `Adhābun Min Rijzin Alīmun
34:5  But those who strive against Our Verses (to) cause failurethose for them (is) a punishment of foul nature, painful.
5. Wallazeena sa’aw feee aayaatinaa mu’aajizeena ulaaa ‘ika lahum ‘azaabum mir rijzin aleem
6. وَيَرَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ هُوَ الْحَقَّ وَيَهْدِي إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ
Wa Yará Al-Ladhīna ‘Ūtū Al-`Ilma Al-Ladhī ‘Unzila Ilayka Min Rabbika Huwa Al-Ĥaqqa Wa Yahdī Ilá Şirāţi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥamīdi
34:6  And see those who have been given the knowledge, (that) what is revealed to you from your Lord [it] (is) the Truth, and it guides to (the) Path (of) the All-Mighty, the Praiseworthy.
6. Wa yaral lazeena ootul ‘ilmal lazeee unzila ilaika mir Rabbika huwal haqqa wa yahdeee ilaaa siraatil ‘Azeezil Hameed
7. وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هَلْ نَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ يُنَبِّئُكُمْ إِذَا مُزِّقْتُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّكُمْ لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Hal Nadullukum `Alá Rajulin Yunabbi’ukum Idhā Muzziqtum Kulla Mumazzaqin Innakum Lafī Khalqin Jadīdin
34:7  But say those who disbelieve, “Shall we direct you to a man who informs you when you have disintegrated (in) total disintegration, indeed you surely (will be) in a creation new?
7. Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo hal nadullukum ‘alaa rajuliny yunabbi ‘ukum izaa muzziqtum kulla mumazzaqin innakum lafee khalqin jadeed
8. أَفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَمْ بِهِ جِنَّةٌ ۗ بَلِ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ فِي الْعَذَابِ وَالضَّلَالِ الْبَعِيدِ
Āftará `Alá Al-Lahi Kadhibāan Am Bihi Jinnatun Bali Al-Ladhīna Yu’uminūna Bil-‘Ākhirati Fī Al-`Adhābi Wa Ađ-Đalāli Al-Ba`īdi
34:8  Has he invented about Allah a lie or in him (is) madness?” Nay, those who (do) not believe in the Hereafter (will be) in the punishment and error far.
8. Aftaraa ‘alal laahi kaziban am bihee jinnah; balil lazeena laa yu’minoona bil Aakhirati fil’azaabi wad dalaalil ba’eed
9. أَفَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَىٰ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنْ نَشَأْ نَخْسِفْ بِهِمُ الْأَرْضَ أَوْ نُسْقِطْ عَلَيْهِمْ كِسَفًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُنِيبٍ
‘Afalam Yaraw Ilá Bayna Aydīhim Wa Mā Khalfahum Mina As-Samā’i Wa Al-‘ArđiIn NashaNakhsif Bihimu Al-‘Arđa Aw Nusqiţ `Alayhim Kisafāan Mina As-Samā’i ‘Inna Fī Dhālika La’āyatan Likulli `Abdin Munībin
34:9  Then, do not they see towards what (is) between their hands and what (is) behind them of the heaven and the earth? If We will We (could) cause to swallow them the earth or cause to fall upon them fragments from the sky. Indeed, in that surely, is a Sign for every slave who turns (to Allah).
9. Afalam yaraw ilaa maa baina aydeehim wa maa khalfahum minas samaaa’i wal ard; in nashad nakhsif bihimul arda aw nusqit ‘alaihim kisafam minas samaaa’; inna fee zaalika la Aayatal likulli ‘abdim muneeb (section 1)
10. وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ مِنَّا فَضْلًا ۖ يَا جِبَالُ أَوِّبِي مَعَهُ وَالطَّيْرَ ۖ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ الْحَدِيدَ
Wa Laqad Ātaynā Dāwūda Minnā Fađlāan Yā JibāluAwwibī Ma`ahu Wa Aţ-Ţayra Wa ‘Alannā Lahu Al-Ĥadīda
34:10  And certainly, We gave Dawood from Us Bounty. “O mountains! Repeat praises with him, and the birds. And We made pliable for him [the] iron,
10. Wa laqad aatainaa Daawooda minnaa fadlany yaa jibaalu awwibee ma’ahoo wattaira wa alannaa lahul hadeed
11. أَنِ اعْمَلْ سَابِغَاتٍ وَقَدِّرْ فِي السَّرْدِ ۖ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحًا ۖ إِنِّي بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
Ani A`mal Sābighātin Wa Qaddir Fī As-Sardi Wa A`malū Şāliĥāan Innī Bimā Ta`malūna Başīrun
34:11  That make full coats of mail and measure precisely [of] the links (of armor), and work righteousness. Indeed, I Am of what you do All-Seer.
11. Ani’mal saabighaatinw wa qaddir fis sardi wa’maloo saalihan innee bimaa ta’maloona Baseer
12. وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ الرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌ ۖ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُ عَيْنَ الْقِطْرِ ۖ وَمِنَ الْجِنِّ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِ ۖ وَمَنْ يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ
Wa Lisulaymāna Ar-Rīĥa Ghudūwuhā Shahrun Wa Rawāĥuhā Shahrun Wa ‘Asalnā Lahu `Ayna Al-Qiţri Wa Mina Al-Jinni Man Ya`malu Bayna Yadayhi Bi’idhni Rabbihi Wa Man Yazigh Minhum `An Amrinā Nudhiqhu Min `Adhābi As-Sa`īri
34:12  And to Sulaiman, the wind its morning course (was) a month and its afternoon course (was) a month, and We caused to flow for him a spring (of) molten copper. And [of] the jinn who worked between (his) hands by the permission (of) his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our Command, We will make him taste of (the) punishment (of) the Blaze.
12. Wa li-Sulaimaanar reeha ghuduwwuhaa shahrunw wa ra-waahuhaa shahrunw wa asalnaa lahoo ‘ainal qitr; wa minal jinni mai ya’malu baina yadaihi bi izni Rabbih; wa mai yazigh minhum ‘an amrinaa nuziqhu min ‘azaabis sa’eer
13. يَعْمَلُونَ لَهُ مَا يَشَاءُ مِنْ مَحَارِيبَ وَتَمَاثِيلَ وَجِفَانٍ كَالْجَوَابِ وَقُدُورٍ رَاسِيَاتٍ ۚ اعْمَلُوا آلَ دَاوُودَ شُكْرًا ۚ وَقَلِيلٌ مِنْ عِبَادِيَ الشَّكُورُ
Ya`malūna Lahu Yashā’u Min Maĥārība Wa Tamāthīla Wa Jifānin Kāljawābi Wa Qudūrin Rāsiyātin A`malū ‘Āla Dāwūda Shukrāan Wa Qalīlun Min `Ibādiya Ash-Shakūru
34:13  They worked for him what he willed of elevated chambers and statues and bowls like reservoirs and cooking-pots fixed. “Work, O family (of) Dawood! (in) gratitude.” But few of My slaves (are) grateful.
13. Ya’maloona lahoo ma yashaaa’u mim mahaareeba wa tamaaseela wa jifaanin kaljawaabi wa qudoorir raasiyaat; i’maloo aala Daawooda shukraa; wa qaleelum min ‘ibaadiyash shakoor
14. فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَوْتَ مَا دَلَّهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَوْتِهِ إِلَّا دَابَّةُ الْأَرْضِ تَأْكُلُ مِنْسَأَتَهُ ۖ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ الْجِنُّ أَنْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ الْغَيْبَ مَا لَبِثُوا فِي الْعَذَابِ الْمُهِينِ
Falammā Qađaynā `Alayhi Al-Mawta Dallahum `Alá Mawtihi Illā Dābbatu Al-‘Arđi Ta’kulu Minsa’atahu Falammā Kharra Tabayyanati Al-JinnuAn Law Kānū Ya`lamūna Al-Ghayba Labithū Fī Al-`Adhābi Al-Muhīni
34:14  Then when We decreed for him the death, not indicated to them [on] his death except a creature (of) the earth eating his staff. But when he fell down, became clear (to) the jinn that if they had known the unseen, not they (would have) remained in the punishment humiliating.
14. Falammaa qadainaa ‘alaihil mawta ma dallahum ‘alaa mawtiheee illaa daaabbatul ardi taakulu minsa atahoo falammaa kharra tabaiyanatil jinnu al law kaanoo ya’lamoonal ghaiba maa labisoo fil ‘azaabil muheen
15. لَقَدْ كَانَ لِسَبَإٍ فِي مَسْكَنِهِمْ آيَةٌ ۖ جَنَّتَانِ عَنْ يَمِينٍ وَشِمَالٍ ۖ كُلُوا مِنْ رِزْقِ رَبِّكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُ ۚ بَلْدَةٌ طَيِّبَةٌ وَرَبٌّ غَفُورٌ
Laqad Kāna Lisaba’iin  Maskanihim Āyatun Jannatāni `An Yamīnin Wa Shimālin Kulū Min Rizqi Rabbikum Wa Ashkurū Lahu Baldatun Ţayyibatun Wa Rabbun Ghafūrun
34:15  Certainly, (there) was for Saba in their dwelling place a sign: Two gardens on (the) right and (on the) left. “Eat from (the) provision (of) your Lord and be grateful to Him. A land good and a Lord Oft-Forgiving.”
15. Laqad kaana li Saba-in fee maskanihim Aayatun jannataani ‘any yameeninw wa shimaalin kuloo mir rizqi Rabbikum washkuroolah; baldatun taiyibatunw wa Rabbun Ghafoor
16. فَأَعْرَضُوا فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَيْلَ الْعَرِمِ وَبَدَّلْنَاهُمْ بِجَنَّتَيْهِمْ جَنَّتَيْنِ ذَوَاتَيْ أُكُلٍ خَمْطٍ وَأَثْلٍ وَشَيْءٍ مِنْ سِدْرٍ قَلِيلٍ
Fa’a`rađū Fa’arsalnā `Alayhim Sayla Al-`Arimi Wa Baddalnāhum Bijannatayhim Jannatayni Dhawātá Ukulin Khamţin Wa ‘Athlin Wa Shay’in Min Sidrin Qalīlin
34:16  But they turned away, so We sent upon them (the) flood (of) the dam, and We changed for them their two gardens (with) two gardens producing fruit bitter, and tamarisks and (some)thing of lote trees few.
16. Fa a’radoo fa-arsalnaa ‘alaihim Sailal ‘Arimi wa baddalnaahum bijannataihim jannataini zawaatai ukulin khamtinw wa aslinw wa shai’im min sidrin qaleel
17. ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُمْ بِمَا كَفَرُوا ۖ وَهَلْ نُجَازِي إِلَّا الْكَفُورَ
Dhālika Jazaynāhum Bimā Kafarū Wa Hal Nujāzī Illā Al-Kafūra
34:17  That We recompensed them because they disbelieved. And not We recompense except the ungrateful.
17. Zaalika jazainaahum bimaa kafaroo wa hal nujaazeee illal kafoor
18. وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ الْقُرَى الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا قُرًى ظَاهِرَةً وَقَدَّرْنَا فِيهَا السَّيْرَ ۖ سِيرُوا فِيهَا لَيَالِيَ وَأَيَّامًا آمِنِينَ
Wa Ja`alnā Baynahum Wa Bayna Al-Qurá Allatī Bāraknā Fīhā Quráan Žāhiratan Wa Qaddarnā Fīhā As-Sayra Sīrū Fīhā Layāliya Wa ‘Ayyāmāan 
34:18  And We made between them and between the towns which We had blessed in it towns visible. And We determined between them the journey.Travel between them (by) night and (by) day safely.”
18. Wa ja’alnaa bainahum wa bainal qural latee baaraknaa feehaa quran zaahiratanw wa qaddarnaa feehas sayr; seeroo feehaa la yaaliya wa aiyaaman aamineen
19. فَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا بَاعِدْ بَيْنَ أَسْفَارِنَا وَظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ وَمَزَّقْنَاهُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ
Faqālū Rabbanā Bā`id Bayna Asfārinā Wa Žalamū ‘Anfusahum Faja`alnāhumAĥādītha Wa Mazzaqnāhum Kulla Mumazzaqin Inna Fī Dhālika La’āyātin Likulli Şabbārin Shakūrin
34:19  But they said,Our Lord lengthen (the distance) between our journeys.” And they wronged themselves, so We made them narrations and We dispersed them (in) a total dispersion. Indeed, in that surely (are) Signs for everyone, patient (and) grateful.
19. Faqaaloo Rabbanaa baa’id baina asfaarinaa wa zalamooo anfusahum faja’alnaahum ahaadeesa wa mazzaq naahum kulla mumazzaq; inna fee zaalika la Aayaatil likulli sabbaarin shakoor
20. وَلَقَدْ صَدَّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِبْلِيسُ ظَنَّهُ فَاتَّبَعُوهُ إِلَّا فَرِيقًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa Laqad Şaddaqa `Alayhim Iblīsu Žannahu Fa Attaba`ūhu Illā Farīqāan Mina Al-Mu’uminīna
34:20  And certainly, found true about them Iblis his assumption, so they followed him except a group of the believers.
20. Wa laqad saddaq ‘alaihim Ibleesu zannabhoo fattaba’oohu illaa fareeqam minal mu’mineen
21. وَمَا كَانَ لَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ سُلْطَانٍ إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِالْآخِرَةِ مِمَّنْ هُوَ مِنْهَا فِي شَكٍّ ۗ وَرَبُّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَفِيظٌ
Wa Mā Kāna Lahu `Alayhim Min Sulţānin Illā Lina`lama Man Yu’uminu Bil-‘Ākhirati Mimman Huwa Minhā Fī Shakkin Wa Rabbuka `Alá Kulli Shay’in Ĥafīžun
34:21  And not was for him over them any authority except that We (might) make evident who believes in the Hereafter from (one) who [he] about it (is) in doubt. And your Lord over all things (is) a Guardian.
21. Wa maa kaana lahoo ‘alaihim min sultaanin illaa lina’lama mai yu minu bil Aakhirati mimman huwa minhaa fee shakk; wa Rabbuka ‘alaa kulli shai’in Hafeez (section 2)
22. قُلِ ادْعُوا الَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ ۖ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِيهِمَا مِنْ شِرْكٍ وَمَا لَهُ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ ظَهِيرٍ
Qul Ad`ū Al-Ladhīna Za`amtum Min Dūni Al-Lahi Yamlikūna Mithqāla Dharratin Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Lā  Al-‘Arđi Wa Mā Lahum Fīhimā Min Shirkin Wa Mā Lahu Minhum Min Žahīrin
34:22  Say, “Call upon those whom you claim from besides Allah.” Not they possess (the) weight (of) an atom in the heavens and not in the earth and not for them in both of them any partnership, and not for Him from them any supporter.
22. Qulid ‘ul lazeena za’amtum min doonil laahi laa yamlikoona misqaala zarratin fissamaawaati wa laa fil ardi wa maa lahum feehimaa min shirkinw wa maa lahoo minhum min zaheer
23. وَلَا تَنْفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا لِمَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ ۚ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فُزِّعَ عَنْ قُلُوبِهِمْ قَالُوا مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ ۖ قَالُوا الْحَقَّ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ
Wa Lā Tanfa`u Ash-Shafā`atu `Indahu Illā LimanAdhina Lahu Ĥattá Idhā Fuzzi`a `An Qulūbihim Qālū Mādhā Qāla Rabbukum Qālū Al-Ĥaqqa Wa Huwa Al-`Alīyu Al-Kabīru
34:23  And not benefits the intercession with Him except for (one) whom He permits for him. Until when fear is removed on their hearts, they will say,What is thathas said your Lord?” They will say,The truth.And He (is) the Most High, the Most Great.
23. Wa laa tanfa’ush shafaa’atu ‘indahooo illaa liman azina lah; hattaaa izaa fuzzi’a ‘an quloobihim qaaloo maazaa qaala Rabbukum; qaalul haqq, wa Huwal ‘Aliyul Kabeer
24. قُلْ مَنْ يَرْزُقُكُمْ مِنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ قُلِ اللَّهُ ۖ وَإِنَّا أَوْ إِيَّاكُمْ لَعَلَىٰ هُدًى أَوْ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
Qul Man Yarzuqukum Mina As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđi Quli Al-Lahu Wa ‘Innā ‘Aw Īyākum La`alá Hudáan Aw Đalālin Mubīnin
34:24  Say, “Who provides (for) you from the heavens and the earth?” Say, “Allah. And indeed, we or you (are) surely upon guidance or in error clear.”
24. Qul mai yarzuqukum minas samaawaati wal ardi qulil laahu wa innaaa aw iyyaakum la’alaa hudan aw fee dalaalim mubeen
25. قُلْ لَا تُسْأَلُونَ عَمَّا أَجْرَمْنَا وَلَا نُسْأَلُ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
Qul  Tus’alūna `Ammā Ajramnā Wa Lā Nus’alu `Ammā Ta`malūna
34:25  Say, “Not you will be asked about what sins we committed and not we will be asked about what you do.”
25. Qul laa tus’aloona ‘ammaaa ajramnaa wa laa nus’alu ‘ammaa ta’maloon
26. قُلْ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَنَا رَبُّنَا ثُمَّ يَفْتَحُ بَيْنَنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَهُوَ الْفَتَّاحُ الْعَلِيمُ
Qul Yajma`u Baynanā Rabbunā Thumma Yaftaĥu Baynanā Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Huwa Al-Fattāĥu Al-`Alīmu
34:26  Say, “Will gather us together our Lord, then He will judge between us in truth. And He (is) the Judge the All-Knowing.
26. Qul yajma’u bainanaa Rabbunaa summa yaftahu bainanaa bilhaqq; wa Huwal Fattaahul ‘Aleem
27. قُلْ أَرُونِيَ الَّذِينَ أَلْحَقْتُمْ بِهِ شُرَكَاءَ ۖ كَلَّا ۚ بَلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Qul Arūniya Al-Ladhīna Alĥaqtum Bihi Shurakā’a Kallā Bal Huwa Al-Lahu Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu
34:27  Say, Show me those whom you have joined with Him (as) partners. By no means! Nay, He (is) Allah the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.”
27. Qul arooniyal lazeena alhaqtum bihee shurakaaa’a kallaa; bal Huwal Laahul ‘Azeezul Hakeem
28. وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا كَافَّةً لِلنَّاسِ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Mā Arsalnāka ‘Illā Kāffatan Lilnnāsi Bashīrāan Wa Nadhīrāan Wa Lakinna ‘Akthara An-Nāsi Ya`lamūna
34:28  And not We have sent you except to all mankind (as) a giver of glad tidings and (as) a warner. But most [the] people (do) not know.
28. Wa maaa arsalnaaka illaa kaaffatal linnaasi basheeranw wa nazeeranw wa laakinna aksaran naasi laa ya’lamoon
29. وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Wa Yaqūlūna Matá Hādhā Al-Wa`duIn Kuntum Şādiqīna
34:29  And they say, “When (is) this promise, if you are truthful?”
29. Wa yaqooloona mataa haazal wa’du in kuntum saadiqeen
30. قُلْ لَكُمْ مِيعَادُ يَوْمٍ لَا تَسْتَأْخِرُونَ عَنْهُ سَاعَةً وَلَا تَسْتَقْدِمُونَ
Qul Lakum Mī`ādu Yawmin  Tasta’khirūna `Anhu Sā`atan Wa Lā Tastaqdimūna
34:30  Say, “For you (is the) appointment (of) a Day, not you can postpone [of] it (for) an hour, and not (can) you precede (it).”
30. Qul lakum mee’aadu Yawmil laa tasta’khiroona ‘anhu saa’atanw wa laa tastaqdimoon (section 3)
31. وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَنْ نُؤْمِنَ بِهَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَلَا بِالَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ۗ وَلَوْ تَرَىٰ إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ مَوْقُوفُونَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يَرْجِعُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ الْقَوْلَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ

اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا لَوْلَا أَنْتُمْ لَكُنَّا مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lan Nu’umina Bihadhā Al-Qur’āni Wa Lā Bial-Ladhī Bayna Yadayhi Wa Law Tará Idhi Až-Žālimūna Mawqūfūna `Inda RabbihimYarji`u Ba`đuhum ‘Ilá Ba`đin Al-Qawla Yaqūlu Al-Ladhīna Astuđ`ifū Lilladhīna Astakbarū Lawlā ‘Antum Lakunnā Mu’uminīna
34:31  And say those who disbelieve, “Never will we believe in this Quran and not in (that) which between hands (before it) But if you (could) see when the wrongdoers will be made to stand before their Lord, will throw back some of them to others the word. Will say those who were oppressed to those who were arrogant, “If not (for) you certainly we (would) have been believers.”
31. Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo lan nu’mina bihaazal Quraani wa laa billazee baina yadayh; wa law taraaa iziz zaalimoona mawqoofoona ‘inda Rabbihim yarji’u ba’duhum ilaa ba’dinil qawla yaqoolul lazeenas tud’ifoo lillazeenas takbaroo law laaa antum lakunnaa mu’mineen
32. قَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا أَنَحْنُ صَدَدْنَاكُمْ عَنِ الْهُدَىٰ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَاءَكُمْ ۖ بَلْ كُنْتُمْ مُجْرِمِينَ
Qāla Al-Ladhīna Astakbarū Lilladhīna Astuđ`ifū Anaĥnu Şadadnākum `Ani Al-Hudá Ba`da ‘Idh Jā’akum Bal Kuntum Mujrimīna
34:32  Will say those who were arrogant to those who were oppressed, “Did we avert you from the guidance after when it had come to you? Nay, you were criminals.”
32. Qaalal lazeenas takbaroo lillazeenas tud’ifooo anahnu sadadnaakum ‘anil hudaa ba’da iz jaaa’akum bal kuntum mujrimeen
33. وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا بَلْ مَكْرُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ إِذْ تَأْمُرُونَنَا أَنْ نَكْفُرَ بِاللَّهِ وَنَجْعَلَ لَهُ أَنْدَادًا ۚ وَأَسَرُّوا النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَغْلَالَ فِي أَعْنَاقِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۚ هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Astuđ`ifū Lilladhīna Astakbarū Bal Makru Al-Layli Wa An-NahāriIdh Ta’murūnanā ‘An Nakfura Bil-Lahi Wa Naj`ala Lahu ‘Andādāan Wa ‘Asarrū An-Nadāmata Lammā Ra’aw Al-`Adhāba Wa Ja`alnā Al-‘Aghlāla  ‘A`nāqi Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Hal Yujzawna ‘Illā Kānū Ya`malūna
34:33  And will saythose who were oppressed to those who were arrogant, “Nay, (it was) a plot (by) night and (by) day when you were ordering us that we disbelieve in Allah and we set up for Him equals.” But they will conceal the regret when they see the punishment. And We will put shackles on (the) necks (of) those who disbelieved. Will they be recompensed except (for) what they used to do?
33. Wa qaalal lazeenastud’ifoo lillazeenas takbaroo bal makrul laili wannahaari iz ta’muroonanaaaa an nakfura billaahi wa naj’ala lahooo andaadaa; wa asarrun nadaamata lammaa ra awul ‘azaab; wa ja’alnal aghlaala feee a’naaqil lazeena kafaroo; hal yujzawna illaa maa kaanoo ya’maloon
34. وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِنْ نَذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَا إِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ
Wa Mā ‘Arsalnā Qaryatin Min Nadhīrin ‘Illā Qāla Mutrafūhā ‘Innā Bimā ‘Ursiltum Bihi Kāfirūna
34:34  And not We sent to a town any warner but said its wealthy ones, “Indeed we, in what you have been sent with, (are) disbelievers.”
34. Wa maaa arsalnaa’ fee qaryatin min nazeerin illaa qaala mutrafoohaa innaa bimaaa ursiltum bihee kaafiroon
35. وَقَالُوا نَحْنُ أَكْثَرُ أَمْوَالًا وَأَوْلَادًا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
Wa Qālū Naĥnu ‘Aktharu ‘Amwālāan Wa ‘Awlādāan Wa Mā Naĥnu Bimu`adhdhabīna
34:35  And they say, “We (have) more wealth and children, and not we will be punished.”
35. Wa qaaloo nahnu aksaru amwaalanw wa awlaadanw wa maa nahnu bimu ‘azzabeen
36. قُلْ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Qul ‘Inna Rabbī Yabsuţu Ar-Rizqa Liman Yashā’u Wa Yaqdiru Wa Lakinna ‘Akthara An-Nāsi Ya`lamūna
34:36  Say, “Indeed, my Lord extends the provision for whom He wills and restricts, but most [the] people (do) not know.”
36. Qul inna Rabbee yabsutur rizqa limai yashaaa’u wa yaqdiru wa laakinna aksaran naasi laa ya’lamoon (section 4)
37. وَمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُكُمْ بِالَّتِي تُقَرِّبُكُمْ عِنْدَنَا زُلْفَىٰ إِلَّا مَنْ آمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَأُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ جَزَاءُ الضِّعْفِ بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَهُمْ فِي الْغُرُفَاتِ آمِنُونَ
Wa Mā ‘Amwālukum Wa Lā ‘Awlādukum Bi-Atī Tuqarribukum `Indanā Zulfá ‘Illā Man ‘Āmana Wa `Amila Şāliĥāan Fa’ūlā’ika Lahum Jazā’u Ađ-Đi`fi Bimā `Amilū Wa Hum Al-Ghurufāti ‘Āminūna
34:37  And not your wealth and not your children [that] will bring you close to Us (in) position, but whoever believes and does righteousness, then those, for them (will be) reward two-fold for what they did, and they (will be) in the high dwellings secure.
37. Wa maaa amwaalukum wa laaa awlaadukum billatee tuqarribukum ‘indanaa zulfaaa illaa man aamana wa ‘amila saalihan fa ulaaa’ika lahum jazaaa’ud di’fi bimaa ‘amiloo wa hum fil ghurufaati aaminoon
38. وَالَّذِينَ يَسْعَوْنَ فِي آيَاتِنَا مُعَاجِزِينَ أُولَٰئِكَ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُحْضَرُونَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yas`awna  ‘Āyātinā Mu`ājizīna ‘Ūlā’ika Al-`Adhābi Muĥđarūna
34:38  And those who strive against Our Verses (to) cause failure, those into the punishment (will be) brought.
38. Wallazeena yas’awna feee Aayaatinaa mu’aajizeena ulaaa’ika fil’azaabi muhdaroon
39. قُلْ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُ ۚ وَمَا أَنْفَقْتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يُخْلِفُهُ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
Qul ‘Inna Rabbī Yabsuţu Ar-Rizqa Liman Yashā’u Min `Ibādihi Wa Yaqdiru Lahu Wa Mā ‘Anfaqtum Min Shay’in Fahuwa Yukhlifuhu Wa Huwa Khayru Ar-Rāziqīna
34:39  Say, “Indeed, my Lord extends the provision for whom He wills of His slaves and restricts for him. But what you spend of anything then Hewill compensate it and He (is the) Best (of) the Providers.
39. Qul inna Rabbee yabsutur rizqa limai yashaaa’u min ‘ibaadihee wa yaqdiru lah; wa maaa anfaqtum min shai’in fahuwa yukhlifuhoo wa Huwa khairur raaziqeen
40. وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ يَقُولُ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ أَهَٰؤُلَاءِ إِيَّاكُمْ كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ
Wa Yawma Yaĥshuruhum Jamī`āan Thumma Yaqūlu Lilmalā’ikatiAhā’uulā’ ‘Īyākum Kānū Ya`budūna
34:40  And (the) Day He will gather them all, then He will say to the Angels,Were these you they were worshipping?”
40. Wa yawma yahshuruhum jamee’an summa yaqoolu lilmalaaa’ikati a-haaa’ulaaa’i iyyaakum kaanoo ya’budoon
41. قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ أَنْتَ وَلِيُّنَا مِنْ دُونِهِمْ ۖ بَلْ كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ الْجِنَّ ۖ أَكْثَرُهُمْ بِهِمْ مُؤْمِنُونَ
Qālū Subĥānaka Anta Walīyunā Min Dūnihim Bal Kānū Ya`budūna Al-JinnaAktharuhum Bihim Mu’uminūna
34:41  They will say,Glory be to You (are) our Protector, from not them. Nay, they used (to) worship the jinn, most of them in them (were) believers.”
41. Qaaloo Subhaanaka Anta waliyyunaa min doonihim bal kaanoo ya’budoonal jinna aksaruhum bihim mu’minoon
42. فَالْيَوْمَ لَا يَمْلِكُ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ نَفْعًا وَلَا ضَرًّا وَنَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ النَّارِ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ
Fālyawma Yamliku Ba`đukum Liba`đin Naf`āan Wa Lā Đarrāan Wa Naqūlu Lilladhīna Žalamū Dhūqū `Adhāba An-Nāri Allatī Kuntum Bihā Tukadhdhibūn
34:42  But today not possess power some of you on others to benefit and not to harm, and We will say to those who wronged,Taste (the) punishment (of) the Fire which you used to [it] deny.”
42. Fal Yawma laa yamliku ba’dukum liba’din naf’anw wa laa darraa; wa naqoolu lil lazeena zalamoo zooqoo ‘azaaban Naaril latee kuntum bihaa tukazziboon
43. وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالُوا مَا هَٰذَا إِلَّا رَجُلٌ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَصُدَّكُمْ عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُكُمْ وَقَالُوا مَا هَٰذَا إِلَّا إِفْكٌ مُفْتَرًى ۚ وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ
Wa ‘Idhā Tutlá `Alayhim Āyātunā Bayyinātin Qālū Hādhā Illā Rajulun Yurīdu An Yaşuddakum `Ammā Kāna Ya`budu Ābā’uukum Wa Qālū Hādhā Illā ‘Ifkun Muftaráan Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lilĥaqqi Lammā Jā’ahum In Hādhā Illā Siĥrun Mubīnun
34:43  And when are recited to them Our Verses clear they say,Not (is) this but a man who wishes to hinder you from what used (to) worship your forefathers.” And they say,Not (is) this except a lie invented.” And said those who disbelieved about the truth when it came to them,Not (is) this except a magic obvious.”
43. Wa izaa tutlaa ‘alaihim Aayaatunaa baiyinaatin qaaloo maa haazaa illaa rajuluny yureedu ai-yasuddakum ‘ammaa kaana ya’budu aabaaa’ukum wa qaaloo maa haazaaa illaaa ifkum muftaraa; wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo lilhaqqi lammaa jaaa’ahum in haazaaa illaa sihrum mubeen
44. وَمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ مِنْ كُتُبٍ يَدْرُسُونَهَا ۖ وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ قَبْلَكَ مِنْ نَذِيرٍ
Wa Mā ‘Ātaynāhum Min Kutubin Yadrusūnahā Wa Mā Arsalnā Ilayhim Qablaka Min Nadhīrin
34:44  And not We (had) given them any Scriptures which they could study, and not We sent to them before you any warner.
44. Wa maaa aatainaahum min Kutubiny yadrusoonahaa wa maaa arsalnaaa ilaihim qablaka min nazeer
45. وَكَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَمَا بَلَغُوا مِعْشَارَ مَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوا رُسُلِي ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
Wa Kadhdhaba Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Wa Mā Balaghū Mi`shāra Mā Ātaynāhum Fakadhdhabū Rusulī Fakayfa Kāna Nakīri
34:45  And denied those who (were) from before them and not they have attained a tenth (of) what We (had) given them. But they denied My Messengers, so how was My rejection?
45. Wa kazzabal lazeena min qablihim wa maa balaghoo mi’shaara maaa aatainaahum fakazzaboo Rusulee; fakaifa kaana nakeer (section 5)
46. قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَعِظُكُمْ بِوَاحِدَةٍ ۖ أَنْ تَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ مَثْنَىٰ وَفُرَادَىٰ ثُمَّ تَتَفَكَّرُوا ۚ مَا بِصَاحِبِكُمْ مِنْ جِنَّةٍ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ لَكُمْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ
Qul Innamā ‘A`ižukum Biwāĥidatin An Taqūmū Lillahi Mathná Wa Furādá Thumma Tatafakkarū Bişāĥibikum Min Jinnatin In Huwa Illā Nadhīrun Lakum Bayna Yaday `Adhābin Shadīdin
34:46  Say, “Only I advise you for one (thing), that you stand for Allah (in) pairs and (as) individuals, then reflect.” Not (is in) your companion any madness. Not he (is) except a warner for you between (your) hands a punishment severe.”
46. Qul innamaaa a’izukum biwaahidatin an taqoomoo lillaahi masnaa wa furaadaa summa tatafakkaroo; maa bisaahibikum min jinnah; in huwa illaa nazeerul lakum baina yadai ‘azaabin shadeed
47. قُلْ مَا سَأَلْتُكُمْ مِنْ أَجْرٍ فَهُوَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
Qul Sa’altukum Min Ajrin Fahuwa Lakum In Ajriya Illā `Alá Al-Lahi Wa Huwa `Alá Kulli Shay’in Shahīdun
34:47  Say, “Not I ask you for any payment, but it (is) for you. Not (is) my payment but from Allah. And He (is) over all things a Witness.
47. Qul maa sa-altukum min ajrin fahuwa lakum in ajriya illaa ‘alal laahi wa Huwa ‘alaa kulli shai’in Shaheed
48. قُلْ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَقْذِفُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ
Qul Inna Rabbī Yaqdhifu Bil-Ĥaqqi `Allāmu Al-Ghuyūbi
34:48  Say, “Indeed, my Lord projects the truth, (the) All-Knower (of) the unseen.
48. Qul inna Rabbee yaqzifu bilhaqq ‘Allaamul Ghuyoob
49. قُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَمَا يُبْدِئُ الْبَاطِلُ وَمَا يُعِيدُ
Qul Jā’a Al-Ĥaqqu Wa Mā Yubdi’u Al-Bāţilu Wa Mā Yu`īdu
34:49  Say, “Has come the truth and not (can) originate the falsehood and not repeat.”
49. Qul jaaa’al haqqu wa maa yubdi’ul baatilu wa maa yu’eed
50. قُلْ إِنْ ضَلَلْتُ فَإِنَّمَا أَضِلُّ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِي ۖ وَإِنِ اهْتَدَيْتُ فَبِمَا يُوحِي إِلَيَّ رَبِّي ۚ إِنَّهُ سَمِيعٌ قَرِيبٌ
Qul In Đalaltu Fa’innamā Ađillu `Alá Nafsī Wa ‘Ini Ahtadaytu Fabimā Yūĥī Ilayya Rabbī Innahu Samī`un Qarībun
34:50  Say, “If I err, then only I will err against myself. But if I am guided, then it is by what reveals to me my Lord. Indeed, He (is) All-Hearer, Ever-Near.”
50. Qul in dalaltu fainnamaaa adillu ‘alaa nafsee wa inih-tadaitu fabimaa yoohee ilaiya Rabbee; innahoo Samee’un Qareeb
51. وَلَوْ تَرَىٰ إِذْ فَزِعُوا فَلَا فَوْتَ وَأُخِذُوا مِنْ مَكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ
Wa Law Tará Idh Fazi`ū Falā Fawta Wa ‘Ukhidhū Min Makānin Qarībin
34:51  And if you (could) see when they will be terrified but (there will be) no escape, and they will be seized from a place near.
51. Wa law taraaa iz fazi’oo falaa fawta wa ukhizoo min makaanin qareeb
52. وَقَالُوا آمَنَّا بِهِ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ التَّنَاوُشُ مِنْ مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ
Wa Qālū ‘Āmannā Bihi Wa ‘Anná Lahumu At-Tanāwushu Min Makānin Ba`īdin
34:52  And they will say, “We believe in it.But how for them (will be) the receiving from a place far off?
52. Wa qaaloo aamannaa bihee wa annaa lahumut tanaawushu min makaanin ba’eed
53. وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا بِهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ وَيَقْذِفُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ مِنْ مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ
Wa Qad Kafarū Bihi Min Qablu Wa Yaqdhifūna Bil-Ghaybi Min Makānin Ba`īdin
34:53  And certainly, they disbelieved in it from before. And they utter conjectures about the unseen from a place far off.
53. Wa qad kafaroo bihee min qablu wa yaqzifoona bilghaibi min makaanin ba’eed
54. وَحِيلَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ مَا يَشْتَهُونَ كَمَا فُعِلَ بِأَشْيَاعِهِمْ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا فِي شَكٍّ مُرِيبٍ
Wa Ĥīla Baynahum Wa Bayna Yashtahūna Kamā Fu`ila Bi’ashyā`ihim Min Qablu Innahum Kānū Fī Shakkin Murībin
34:54  And a barrier will be placed between them and between what they desire, as was done with their kind from before. Indeed, they were in doubt disquieting.
