1. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَثْنَىٰ وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ ۚ يَزِيدُ فِي الْخَلْقِ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Al-Ĥamdu Lillahi Fāţiri As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđi Jā`ili Al-Malā’ikati Rusulāan Ūlī Ajniĥatin Mathná Wa Thulātha Wa Rubā`a Yazīdu Fī Al-Khalqi Yashā’u Inna Al-Laha `Alá Kulli Shay’in Qadīrun
35:1  All praises (be) to Allah, Originator (of) the heavens and the earth, (Who) makes the Angels messengers having wings two or three or four. He increases in the creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah (is) on every thing All-Powerful.
1. Alhamdu lillaahi faatiris samaawaati wal ardi jaa’ilil malaaa’ikati rusulan uleee ajnihatim masnaa wa sulaasa wa rubaa’; yazeedu fil khalqi maa yashaaa’; innal laaha ‘alaa kulli shai’in Qadeer
2. مَا يَفْتَحِ اللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِنْ رَحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا ۖ وَمَا يُمْسِكْ فَلَا مُرْسِلَ لَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Yaftaĥi Al-Lahu Lilnnāsi Min Raĥmatin Falā Mumsika Lahā Wa Mā Yumsik Falā Mursila Lahu Min Ba`dihi Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu
35:2  What grants Allah to mankind of Mercy, then none (can) withhold it. And what He withholds, then none (can) release it from thereafter. And He (is) the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
2. Maa yaftahil laahu linnaaasi mir rahmatin falaa mumsika lahaa wa maa yumsik falaa mursila lahoo mimba’dihi; wa Huwal ‘Azeezul Hakeem
3. يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ هَلْ مِنْ خَالِقٍ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَرْزُقُكُمْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ
Yā ‘Ayyuhā An-Nāsu Adhkurū Ni`mata Al-Lahi `Alaykum Hal Min Khāliqin Ghayru Al-Lahi Yarzuqukum Mina As-Samā’i Wa Al-‘Arđi Lā Ilāha Illā Huwa Fa’anná Tu’ufakūna
35:3  O mankind! Remember (the) Favor (of) Allah upon you. Is (there) any creator other (than) Allah who provides for you from the sky and the earth? (There is) no god but He. Then, how (are) you deluded?
3. Yaaa ayyuhan naasuzkuroo ni’matal laahi ‘alaikum; hal min khaaliqin ghairul laahi yarzuqukum minas samaaa’i wal ard; laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa fa annaa tu’fakoon
4. وَإِنْ يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ ۚ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ
Wa ‘In Yukadhdhibūka Faqad Kudhdhibat Rusulun Min Qablika Wa ‘Ilá Al-Lahi Turja`u Al-‘Umūru
35:4  And if they deny you, then certainly were denied Messengers from before you. And to Allah return the matters.
4. Wa iny yukazzibooka faqad kuzzibat Rusulum min qablik; wa ilal laahi turja’ul umoor
5. يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ
Yā ‘Ayyuhā An-NāsuInna Wa`da Al-Lahi Ĥaqqun Falā Taghurrannakumu Al-Ĥayā Atu Ad-Dunyā Wa Lā Yaghurrannakum Bil-Lahi Al-Gharūru
35:5  O mankind! Indeed, (the) promise (of) Allah (is) true. So (let) not deceive you the life (of) the world, and (let) not deceive you about Allah the Deceiver.
5. Yaaa ayyuhan naasu inna wa’dal laahi haqqun falaa taghurrannakumul hayaatud dunyaa; wa laa yaghurran nakum billaahil gharoor
6. إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا ۚ إِنَّمَا يَدْعُو حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُوا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ
Inna Ash-Shayţāna Lakum `Adūwun Fa Attakhidhūhu `Adūwāan Innamā Yad`ū Ĥizbahu Liyakūnū Min Aşĥābi As-Sa`īri
35:6  Indeed, the Shaitaan (is) to you an enemy, so take him (as) an enemy. Only he invites his party that they may be among (the) companions (of) the Blaze.
6. Innash shaitaana lakum ‘aduwwun fattakhizoohu ‘aduwwaa; innamaa yad’oo hizbahoo liyakoonoo min ashaabis sa’eer
7. الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ
Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lahum `Adhābun Shadīdun Wa Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum Maghfiratun Wa ‘Ajrun Kabīrun
35:7  Those who disbelieve, for them (will be) a punishment severe, and those who believe and do righteous deeds, for them (will be) forgiveness and a reward great.
7. Allazeena kafaroo lahum ‘azaabun shadeed; wallazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati lahum maghfiratunw wa ajrun kabeer (section 1)
8. أَفَمَنْ زُيِّنَ لَهُ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ فَرَآهُ حَسَنًا ۖ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَاتٍ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ
‘Afaman Zuyyina Lahu Sū’u `Amalihi Fara’āhu Ĥasanāan Fa’inna Al-Laha Yuđillu Man Yashā’u Wa Yahdī Man Yashā’u Falā Tadh/hab Nafsuka `Alayhim Ĥasarātin Inna Al-Laha `Alīmun Bimā Yaşna`ūna
35:8  Then is (he) who is made fair-seeming to him (the) evil (of) his deed so that he sees it (as) good? For indeed, Allah lets go astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So (let) not go out your soul for them (in) regrets. Indeed, Allah (is) All-Knower of what they do.
8. Afaman zuyyina lahoo sooo’u ‘amalihee fara aahu hasanaa; fa innal laaha yudillu mai yashaaa’u wa yahdee mai yashaaa’u falaa tazhab nafsuka ‘alaihim hasaraat; innal laaha ‘aleemun bimaa yasna’oon
9. وَاللَّهُ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ الرِّيَاحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًا فَسُقْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ مَيِّتٍ فَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ النُّشُورُ
Wa Allāhu Al-Ladhī Arsala Ar-Riyāĥa Fatuthīru Saĥābāan Fasuqnāhu Ilá Baladin Mayyitin Fa’aĥyaynā Bihi Al-‘Arđa Ba`da Mawtihā Kadhālika An-Nushūru
35:9  And Allah (is) the One Who sends the winds so that they raise (the) clouds, and We drive them to a land dead and We revive therewith the earth after its death. Thus (will be) the Resurrection.
9. Wallaahul lazeee arsalar riyaaha fatuseeru sa haaban fasuqnaahu ilaa baladim maiyitin fa ahyaynaa bihil arda ba’da mawtihaa; kazaalikan nushoor
10. مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ الْكَلِمُ الطَّيِّبُ وَالْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ يَرْفَعُهُ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ يَمْكُرُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۖ وَمَكْرُ أُولَٰئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ
Man Kāna Yurīdu Al-`Izzata Falillāhi Al-`Izzatu Jamī`āanIlayhi Yaş`adu Al-Kalimu Aţ-Ţayyibu Wa Al-`Amalu Aş-Şāliĥu Yarfa`uhu Wa Al-Ladhīna Yamkurūna As-Sayyi’āti Lahum `Adhābun Shadīdun Wa Makru ‘Ūlā’ika Huwa Yabūru
35:10  Whoever (for) him desires the honor, then for Allah (is) the Honor all. To Him ascends the words good, and the deed righteous raises it. But those who plot the evil, for them (is) a punishment severe, and (the) plotting (of) those it (will) perish.
10. Man kaana yureedul ‘izzata falillaahil ‘izzatu jamee’aa; ilaihi yas’adul kalimut taiyibu wal’amalus saalihu yarfa’uh; wallazeena yamkuroonas sayyiaati lahum ‘azaabun shadeed; wa makru ulaaa’ika huwa yaboor
11. وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا ۚ وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنْثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلْمِهِ ۚ وَمَا يُعَمَّرُ مِنْ مُعَمَّرٍ وَلَا يُنْقَصُ مِنْ عُمُرِهِ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ
Wa Allāhu Khalaqakum Min Turābin Thumma Min Nuţfatin Thumma Ja`alakumAzwājāan Wa Mā Taĥmilu Min Unthá Wa Lā Tađa`uIllā Bi`ilmihi Wa Mā Yu`ammaru Min Mu`ammarin Wa Lā Yunqaşu Min `Umurihi Illā Kitābin Inna Dhālika `Alá Al-Lahi Yasīrun
35:11  And Allah created you from dust, then from a semendrop; then He made you pairs. And not conceives any female and not gives birth except with His knowledge. And not is granted life any aged person and not is lessened from his life but (is) in a Register. Indeed, that for Allah (is) easy.
11. Wallaahu khalaqakum min turaabin summa min nutfatin summa ja’alakum azwaajaa; wa maa tahmilu min unsaa wa laa tada’u illaa bi’ilmih; wa maa yu’ammaru mim mu’ammarinw wa laa yunqasu min ‘umuriheee illaa fee kitaab; inna zaalika ‘alal laahi yaseer
12. وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْبَحْرَانِ هَٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَائِغٌ شَرَابُهُ وَهَٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ ۖ وَمِنْ كُلٍّ تَأْكُلُونَ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُونَ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا ۖ وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ فِيهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
Wa Mā Yastawī Al-Baĥrāni Hādhā `Adhbun Furātun Sā’ighun Sharābuhu Wa Hadhā Milĥun Ujājun Wa Min Kullin Ta’kulūna Laĥmāan Ţarīyāan Wa Tastakhrijūna Ĥilyatan Talbasūnahā Wa Tará Al-Fulka Fīhi Mawākhira Litabtaghū Min Fađlihi Wa La`allakum Tashkurūna
35:12  And not are alike the two seas. This (is) fresh, sweet, pleasant its drink, and this salty (and) bitter. And from each you eat meat fresh and you extract ornaments you wear them, and you see the ships in it, cleaving, so that you may seek of His Bounty, and that you may be grateful.
12. Wa maa yastawil bahraani haaza ‘azbun furaatun saaa’ighun sharaabuhoo wa haazaa milhun ujaaj; wa min kullin ta’kuloona lahman tariyyanw wa tastakhrijoona hilyatan talbasoonahaa wa taral fulka feehi mawaakhira litabtaghoo min fadlihee wa la’allakum tashkuroon
13. يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ مَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْ قِطْمِيرٍ
Yūliju Al-Layla Fī An-Nahāri Wa Yūliju An-Nahāra Fī Al-Layli Wa Sakhkhara Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Kullun Yajrī Li’jalin Musammáan Dhalikumu Al-Lahu Rabbukum Lahu Al-Mulku Wa Al-Ladhīna Tad`ūna Min Dūnihi Yamlikūna Min Qiţmīrin
35:13  He causes to enter the night in (to) the day and He causes to enter the day in (to) the night, and He has subjected the sun and the moon each running for a term appointed. That (is) Allah, your Lord, for Him (is) the Dominion. And those whom you invoke from besides Him, not they possess even (as much as) the membrane of a date-seed.
13. Yoolijul laila fin nahaari wa yoolijun nahaara fil laili wa sakhkharash shamsa wal qamara kulluny yajree li ajalim musammaa; zaalikumul laahu Rabbukum lahul mulk; wallazeena tad’oona min doonihee maa yamlikoona min qitmeer
14. إِنْ تَدْعُوهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُوا دُعَاءَكُمْ وَلَوْ سَمِعُوا مَا اسْتَجَابُوا لَكُمْ ۖ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُونَ بِشِرْكِكُمْ ۚ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثْلُ خَبِيرٍ
In Tad`ūhum Yasma`ū Du`ā’akum Wa Law Sami`ū Mā Astajābū Lakum Wa Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Yakfurūna Bishirkikum Wa Lā Yunabbi’uka Mithlu Khabīrin
35:14  If you invoke them not they hear your call; and if they heard, not they (would) respond to you. And (on the) Day (of) the Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like (the) All-Aware.
14. In tad’oohum laa yasma’oo du’aaa’akum wa law sami’oo mas tajaaboo lakum; wa Yawmal Qiyaamati Yakfuroona bishirkikum; wa laa yunabbi’uka mislu khabeer (section 2)
15. يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَنْتُمُ الْفُقَرَاءُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
Yā ‘Ayyuhā An-NāsuAntumu Al-Fuqarā’uIlá Al-Lahi Wa Allāhu Huwa Al-Ghanīyu Al-Ĥamīdu
35:15  O mankind! You (are) those in need of Allah, while Allah, He (is) Free of need the Praiseworthy.
15. Yaaa ayyunhan naasu antumul fuqaraaa’u ilallaahi wallaahu Huwal Ghaniyyul Hameed
16. إِنْ يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ
‘In YashaYudh/hibkum Wa Ya’ti Bikhalqin Jadīdin
35:16  If He wills, He (can) do away with you and bring in a creation new.
16. Iny yasha’ yuzhibkum wa ya’ti bikhalqin jadeed
17. وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍ
Wa Mā Dhālika `Alá Al-Lahi Bi`azīzin
35:17  And not that (is) on Allah difficult.
17. Wa maa zaalika ‘alal laahi bi’azeez
18. وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۚ وَإِنْ تَدْعُ مُثْقَلَةٌ إِلَىٰ حِمْلِهَا لَا يُحْمَلْ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰ ۗ إِنَّمَا تُنْذِرُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَيْبِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ ۚ وَمَنْ تَزَكَّىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَتَزَكَّىٰ لِنَفْسِهِ ۚ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ
Wa Lā Taziru Wāziratun Wizra Ukhrá Wa ‘In Tad`u Muthqalatun Ilá Ĥimlihā Yuĥmal Minhu Shay’un Wa Law Kāna Dhā Qurbá Innamā Tundhiru Al-Ladhīna Yakhshawna Rabbahum Bil-Ghaybi Wa ‘Aqāmū Aş-Şalāata Wa Man Tazakká Fa’innamā Yatazakká Linafsihi Wa ‘Ilá Al-Lahi Al-Maşīru
35:18  And not will bear bearer of burdens burden (of) another. And if calls a heavily laden to (carry) its load, not will be carried of it anything even if he be (from) near of kin. Only you can warn those who fear their Lordunseen and establish the prayer. And whoever purifies himself, then only he purifies for his own self. And to Allah (is) the destination.
18. Wa laa taziru waaziratun wizra ukhraa; wa in tad’u musqalatun ilaa himlihaa laa yuhmal minhu shai’unw wa law kaana zaa qurbaa; innamaa tunzirul lazeena yakhshawna Rabbahum bilghaibi wa aqaamus Salaah; wa man tazakkaa fa innamaa yatazakkaa linafsih; wa ilal laahil maseer
19. وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَعْمَىٰ وَالْبَصِيرُ
Wa Mā Yastawī Al-‘A`má Wa Al-Başīru
35:19  And not equal (are) the blind and the seeing,
19. Wa maa yastawil a’maa wal baseer
20. وَلَا الظُّلُمَاتُ وَلَا النُّورُ
Wa Lā Až-Žulumātu Wa Lā An-Nūr
35:20  And not the darkness[es] and not [the] light,
20. Wa laz zulumaatu wa lan noor
21. وَلَا الظِّلُّ وَلَا الْحَرُورُ
Wa Lā Až-Žillu Wa Lā Al-Ĥarūru
35:21  And not the shade and not the heat,
21. Wa laz zillu wa lal haroor
22. وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَحْيَاءُ وَلَا الْأَمْوَاتُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ وَمَا أَنْتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَنْ فِي الْقُبُورِ
Wa Mā Yastawī Al-‘Aĥyā’u Wa Lā Al-‘AmwātuInna Al-Laha Yusmi`u Man Yashā’u Wa Mā Anta Bimusmi`in Man Fī Al-Qubūri
35:22  And not equal (are) the living and not the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, and not you can make hear (those) who (are) in the graves.
22. Wa maa yastawil ahyaaa’u wa lal amwaat; innal laaha yusmi’u mai yashaaa’u wa maaa anta bi musmi’im man fil quboor
23. إِنْ أَنْتَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ
In Anta Illā Nadhīrun
35:23  Not you (are) but a warner.
23. In anta illaa nazeer
24. إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا ۚ وَإِنْ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلَّا خَلَا فِيهَا نَذِيرٌ
Innā Arsalnāka Bil-Ĥaqqi Bashīrāan Wa Nadhīrāan Wa ‘In Min Ummatin Illā Khalā Fīhā Nadhīrun
35:24  Indeed, We [We] have sent you with the truth, (as) a bearer of glad tidings and (as) a warner. And not (was) any nation but had passed within it a warner.
24. Innaa arsalnaaka bil haqqi basheeranw wa nazeeraa; wa im min ummatin illaa khalaa feehaa nazeer
25. وَإِنْ يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالزُّبُرِ وَبِالْكِتَابِ الْمُنِيرِ
Wa ‘In Yukadhdhibūka Faqad Kadhdhaba Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Jā’at/hum Rusuluhum Bil-Bayyināti Wa Biz-Zuburi Wa Bil-Kitābi Al-Munīri
35:25  And if they deny you, then certainly, denied those who (were) from before them Came to them their Messengers with clear signs and with Scriptures and with the Book [the] enlightening.
25. Wa iny yukazzibooka faqad kazzabal lazeena min qablihim jaaa’at hum Rusuluhum bilbaiyinaati wa biz Zuburi wa bil Kitaabil Muneer
26. ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
Thumma Akhadhtu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Fakayfa Kāna Nakīri
35:26  Then I seized those who disbelieved, and how was My rejection!
26. Summa akhaztul lazeena kafaroo fakaifa kaana nakeer (section 3)
27. أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ ثَمَرَاتٍ مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهَا ۚ وَمِنَ الْجِبَالِ جُدَدٌ بِيضٌ وَحُمْرٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٌ
Alam Tará Anna Al-Laha ‘Anzala Mina As-Samā’i Mā’an Fa’akhrajnā Bihi Thamarātin Mukhtalifāan Alwānuhā Wa Mina Al-Jibāli Judadun Bīđun Wa Ĥumrun Mukhtalifun ‘Alwānuhā Wa Gharābību Sūdun
35:27  Do not you see that Allah sends down from the sky water, then We bring forth therewith fruits (of) various [their] colors? And in the mountains (are) tracts, white and red (of) various [their] colors, and intensely black.
27. Alam tara annal laaha anzala minas samaaa’i maaa’an fa akhrajnaa bihee samaraatim mukhtalifan alwaanuhaa; wa minal jibaali judadum beedunw wa humrum mukhtalifun alwaanuhaa wa gharaabeebu sood
28. وَمِنَ النَّاسِ وَالدَّوَابِّ وَالْأَنْعَامِ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ كَذَٰلِكَ ۗ إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُورٌ
Wa Mina An-Nāsi Wa Ad-Dawābbi Wa Al-‘An`ām Mukhtalifun Alwānuhu Kadhālika Innamā Yakhshá Al-Laha Min `Ibādihi Al-`Ulamā’uInna Al-Laha `Azīzun Ghafūrun
35:28  And among men and moving creatures and the cattle (are) various [their] colors likewise. Only fear Allah among His slaves those who have knowledge. Indeed, Allah (is) All-Mighty, Oft-Forgiving.
28. Wa minan naasi wadda waaabbi wal an’aami mukhtalifun alwaanuhoo kazalik; innamaa yakhshal laaha min ‘ibaadihil ‘ulamaaa’; innal laaha ‘Azeezun Ghafoor
29. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً يَرْجُونَ تِجَارَةً لَنْ تَبُورَ
Inna Al-Ladhīna Yatlūna Kitāba Al-Lahi Wa ‘Aqāmū Aş-Şalāata Wa ‘Anfaqū Mimmā Razaqnāhum Sirrāan Wa `Alāniyatan Yarjūna Tijāratan Lan Tabūra
35:29  Indeed, those who recite (the) Book (of) Allah, and establish the prayer and spend out of what We have provided them, secretly and openly, hope (for) a commercenever it will perish.
29. Innal lazeena yatloona Kitabbal laahi wa aqaamus Salaata wa anfaqoo mimmaa razaqnaahum sirranw wa ‘alaa niyatany yarjoona tijaaratal lan taboor
30. لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزِيدَهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ
Liyuwaffiyahum Ujūrahum Wa Yazīdahum Min Fađlihi Innahu Ghafūrun Shakūrun
35:30  That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His Bounty. Indeed, He (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Appreciative.
30. Liyuwaffiyahum ujoorahum wa yazeedahum min fadlih; innahoo Ghafoorun Shakoor
31. وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِعِبَادِهِ لَخَبِيرٌ بَصِيرٌ
Wa Al-Ladhī ‘Awĥaynā Ilayka Mina Al-Kitābi Huwa Al-Ĥaqqu Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Inna Al-Laha Bi`ibādihi Lakhabīrun Başīrun
35:31  And (that) which We have revealed to you of the Book, it (is) the truth confirming what (was) (from) between your hands. Indeed, Allah of His slaves surely, (is) All-Aware, All-Seer.
31. Wallazeee awhainaaa ilaika minal Kitaabi huwal haqqu musaddiqal limaa baina yadayh; innal laaha bi’ibaadihee la khabeerum Baseer
32. ثُمَّ أَوْرَثْنَا الْكِتَابَ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَيْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ ظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مُقْتَصِدٌ وَمِنْهُمْ سَابِقٌ بِالْخَيْرَاتِ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْكَبِيرُ
Thumma Awrathnā Al-Kitāba Al-Ladhīna Aşţafaynā Min `Ibādinā Faminhum Žālimun Linafsihi Wa Minhum Muqtaşidun Wa Minhum Sābiqun Bil-Khayrāti Bi’idhni Al-Lahi Dhālika Huwa Al-Fađlu Al-Kabīru
35:32  Then We caused to inherit the Book those whom We have chosen of Our slaves; and among them (is he) who wrongs himself, and among them (is he who is) moderate, and among them (is he who is) foremost in good deeds by permission (of) Allah. That is the Bounty the great.
32. Summa awrasnal Kitaaballazeenas tafainaa min ‘ibaadinaa faminhum zaalimul linafsihee wa minhum muqtasidu, wa minhum saabiqum bilkhairaati bi iznil laah; zaalika huwal fadlul kabeer
33. جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ
Jannātu `Adnin Yadkhulūnahā Yuĥallawna Fīhā Min Asāwira Min Dhahabin Wa Lu’ulu’uāan Wa Libāsuhum Fīhā Ĥarīrun
35:33  Gardens (of) Eternity, they will enter them. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein (will be of) silk.
33. Jannaatu ‘adniny yad khuloonahaa yuhallawna feeha min asaawira min zahabinw wa lu’lu’anw wa libaa suhum feehaa hareer
34. وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ ۖ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ
Wa Qālū Al-Ĥamdu Lillahi Al-Ladhī ‘Adh/haba `Annā Al-ĤazanaInna Rabbanā Laghafūrun Shakūrun
35:34  And they (will) say, “All praises (be) to Allah the One Who (has) removed from us the sorrow. Indeed, our Lord (is) surely Oft-Forgiving, Most Appreciative,
34. Wa qaalul hamdu lillaahil lazeee azhaba ‘annal hazan; inna Rabbanaa la Ghafoorun Shakoor
35. الَّذِي أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ الْمُقَامَةِ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٌ
Al-Ladhī ‘Aĥallanā Dāra Al-Muqāmati Min Fađlihi Yamassunā Fīhā Naşabun Wa Lā Yamassunā Fīhā Lughūbun
35:35  The One Who has settled us (in) a Home (of) Eternity (out) of His Bounty. Not touches us therein any fatigue and not touches therein weariness.”
35. Allazeee ahallanaa daaral muqaamati min fadlihee laa yamassunaa feehaa nasabunw wa laa yamassunaa feehaa lughoob
36. وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقْضَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ فَيَمُوتُوا وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي كُلَّ كَفُورٍ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lahum Nāru Jahannama Yuqđá `Alayhim Fayamūtū Wa Lā Yukhaffafu `Anhum Min `Adhābihā Kadhālika Najzī Kulla Kafūrin
35:36  And those who disbelieve, for them (will be the) Fire (of) Hell. Not is decreed for them that they die, and not will be lightened for them of its torment. Thus We recompense every ungrateful one.
36. Wallazeena kafaroo lahum naaru Jahannama laa yuqdaa ‘alaihim fa yamootoo wa laa yukhaffafu ‘anhum min ‘azaabihaa; kazaalika najzee kulla kafoor
37. وَهُمْ يَصْطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ ۚ أَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُمْ مَا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَنْ تَذَكَّرَ وَجَاءَكُمُ النَّذِيرُ ۖ فَذُوقُوا فَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ نَصِيرٍ
Wa Hum Yaşţarikhūna Fīhā Rabbanā Akhrijnā Na`mal Şāliĥāan Ghayra Al-Ladhī Kunnā Na`maluAwalam Nu`ammirkum  Yatadhakkaru Fīhi Man Tadhakkara Wa Jā’akumu An-Nadhīru Fadhūqū Famā Lilžžālimīna Min Naşīr
35:37  And they will cry therein, “Our Lord! Bring us out; we will do righteous (deeds) other than (that) which we used (to) do.” Did not We give you life long enough that (would) receive admonition therein whoever receives admonition? And came to you the warner. So taste, then not (is) for the wrongdoers any helper.
37. Wa hum yastarikhoona feehaa Rabbanaa akhrijnaa na’mal saalihan ghairal lazee kunnaa na’mal; awa lamnu ‘ammirkum maa yatazak karu feehi man tazakkara wa jaaa’akumun nazeeru fazooqoo famaa lizzaalimeena min naseer (section 4)
38. إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَالِمُ غَيْبِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
Inna Al-Laha `Ālimu Ghaybi As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđi Innahu `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri
35:38  Indeed, Allah (is the) Knower (of the) unseen (of) the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He (is the) All-Knower of what (is) in the breasts.
38. Innal laaha ‘aalimu ghaibis samaawaati wal ard; innahoo ‘aleemum bizaatis sudoor
39. هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ فَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُ ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا مَقْتًا ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ إِلَّا خَسَارًا
Huwa Al-Ladhī Ja`alakum Khalā’ifa Fī Al-‘Arđi Faman Kafara Fa`alayhi Kufruhu Wa Lā Yazīdu Al-Kāfirīna Kufruhum `Inda Rabbihim Illā Maqtāan Wa Lā Yazīdu Al-Kāfirīna KufruhumIllā Khasārāan
35:39  He (is) the One Who made you successors in the earth. And whoever disbelieves, then upon him (is) his disbelief. And not increase the disbelievers their disbelief near their Lord, except (in) hatred; and not increase the disbelievers their disbelief except (in) loss.
39. Huwal lazee ja’alakum khalaaa’ifa fil ard; faman kafara fa’alaihi kufruhoo; wa laa yazeedul kaafireena kufruhum ‘inda Rabbihim illaa maqtanw wa laa yazeedul kaafireena kufruhum illaa khasaaraa
40. قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ شُرَكَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَابًا فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَتٍ مِنْهُ ۚ بَلْ إِنْ يَعِدُ الظَّالِمُونَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًا
QulAra’aytum Shurakā’akumu Al-Ladhīna Tad`ūna Min Dūni Al-Lahi ‘Arūnī Mādhā Khalaqū Mina Al-‘Arđi Am Lahum Shirkun  As-Samāwāti Am Ātaynāhum Kitābāan Fahum `Alá Bayyinatin Minhu Bal In Ya`idu Až-Žālimūna Ba`đuhum Ba`đāanIllā Ghurūrāan
35:40  Say, “Have you seen your partners those whom you call from besides Allah?” Show Me what they have created from the earth, or for them (is) a share in the heavens. Or have We given them a Book so they (are) on a clear proof therefrom? Nay, not promise the wrongdoers some of them (to) others except delusion.
40. Qul ara’aytum shurakaaa’a kumul lazeena tad’oona min doonil laahi; aroonee maazaa khalaqoo minal ardi am lahum shirkun fis samaawaati am aatainaahum Kitaaban fahum ‘alaa baiyinatim minh; bal iny ya’iduz zaalimoona ba ‘duhum ba’dan illaa ghurooraa
41. إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْسِكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ أَنْ تَزُولَا ۚ وَلَئِنْ زَالَتَا إِنْ أَمْسَكَهُمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورًا
Inna Al-Laha Yumsiku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđa An Tazūlā Wa La’in Zālatā In Amsakahumā Min Aĥadin Min Ba`dihi ‘Innahu Kāna Ĥalīmāan Ghafūrāan
35:41  Indeed, Allah upholds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease. And if they should cease, not can uphold them any one from after Him. Indeed, He is Most Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving.
41. Innal laaha yumsikus samaawaati wal arda an tazoolaaa; wa la’in zaalataaa in amsa kahumaa min ahadim mim ba’dih; innahoo kaana Haleeman Ghafooraa
42. وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِنْ جَاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ لَيَكُونُنَّ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْ إِحْدَى الْأُمَمِ ۖ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ مَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا نُفُورًا
Wa ‘Aqsamū Bil-Lahi Jahda Aymānihim La’in Jā’ahum Nadhīrun Layakūnunna Ahdá Min Iĥdá Al-‘Umami Falammā Jā’ahum Nadhīrun  Zādahum Illā Nufūrāan
35:42  And they swore by Allah (the) strongest (of) their oaths that if came to them a warner, surely, they would be more guided than any (of) the nations. But when came to them a warner, not it increased them but (in) aversion,
42. Wa aqsamoo billaahi jahda aymaanihim la’in jaaa’ahum nazeerul layakoonunna ahdaa min ihdal umami falam maa jaaa’ahum nazeerum maa zaadahum illaa nufooraa
43. اسْتِكْبَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ ۚ وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ ۚ فَهَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ الْأَوَّلِينَ ۚ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا ۖ وَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا
Astikbārāan Fī Al-‘Arđi Wa Makra As-Sayyi’i Wa Lā Yaĥīqu Al-Makru As-Sayyi’uIllā Bi’ahlihi Fahal Yanžurūna Illā Sunnata Al-‘Awwalīna Falan Tajida Lisunnati Al-Lahi Tabdīlāan Wa Lan Tajida Lisunnati Al-Lahi Taĥwīlāan
35:43  (Due to) arrogance in the land and plotting (of) the evil; but not encompasses the plot (of) the evil except its own people. Then do they wait except (the) way (of) the former (people)? But never you will find in (the) way (of) Allah any change, and never you will find in (the) way (of) Allah any alteration.
43. Istikbaaran fil ardi wa makras sayyi’; wa laa yaheequl makrus sayyi’u illaa bi ahlih; fahal yanzuroona illaa sunnatal awwaleen; falan tajida lisunnatil laahi tabdeelanw wa lan tajida lisunnatil laahi tahweela
44. أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَكَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعْجِزَهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَلِيمًا قَدِيرًا
‘Awalam Yasīrū Fī Al-‘Arđi Fayanžurū Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Wa Kānū ‘Ashadda Minhum Qūwatan Wa Mā Kāna Al-Lahu Liyu`jizahu Min Shay’in Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Lā Fī Al-‘ArđiInnahu Kāna `Alīmāan Qadīrāan
35:44  Have they not traveled in the land and seen how was (the) end (of) those who (were) from before them? And they were stronger than them (in) power. But not is Allah that can escape (from) Him any thing in the heavens and not in the earth. Indeed, He is All-Knower, All-Powerful.
44. Awalam yaseeroo fil ardi fa yanzuroo kaifa kaana ‘aaqibatul lazeena min Qablihim wa kaanoo ashadda minhum quwwah; wa maa kaanal laahu liyu’jizahoo min shai’in fis samaawaati wa laa fil ard; innahoo kaana ‘Aleeman Qadeeraa
45. وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ وَلَٰكِنْ يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيرًا
Wa Law Yu’uākhidhu Al-Lahu An-Nāsa Bimā Kasabū Taraka `Alá Žahrihā Min Dābbatin Wa Lakin Yu’uakhkhiruhumIlá Ajalin Musammáan Fa’idhā Jā’a Ajaluhum Fa’inna Al-Laha Kāna Bi`ibādihi Başīrāan
35:45  And if (were to) punish Allah the people for what they have earned, not He would leave on its back any creature. But He gives them respite till a term appointed. And when comes their term, then indeed, Allah is of His slaves All-Seer.
45. Wa law yu’aakhizul laahun naasa bima kasaboo maa taraka ‘alaa zahrihaa min daaabbatinw wa laakiny yu’akhkhiruhum ilaaa ajalim musamman fa izaa jaaa’a ajaluhum fa innal laaha kaana bi’ibaadihee Baseeraa (section 5)
