41:1  Ha Meem.
1. Haa Meeem
2. تَنْزِيلٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Tanzīlun Mina Ar-Raĥmāni Ar-Raĥīmi
41:2  A revelation from the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
2. Tanzeelum Minar-Rahmaanir-Raheem
3. كِتَابٌ فُصِّلَتْ آيَاتُهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
Kitābun Fuşşilat ‘Āyātuhu Qur’ānāan `Arabīyāan Liqawmin Ya`lamūna
41:3  A Book, are detailed its Verses, a Quran (in) Arabic for a people (who) know,
3. Kitaabun fussilat Aayaatuhoo Qur-aanan ‘Arabiyyal liqawminy ya’lamoon
4. بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا فَأَعْرَضَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ
Bashīrāan Wa Nadhīrāan Fa’a`rađa ‘Aktharuhum Fahum Lā Yasma`ūna
41:4  A giver of glad tidings and a warner; but turn away most of them, so they (do) not hear.
4. Basheeranw wa nazeeran fa-a’rada aksaruhum fahum laa yasma’oon
5. وَقَالُوا قُلُوبُنَا فِي أَكِنَّةٍ مِمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ وَفِي آذَانِنَا وَقْرٌ وَمِنْ بَيْنِنَا وَبَيْنِكَ حِجَابٌ فَاعْمَلْ إِنَّنَا عَامِلُونَ
Wa Qālū Qulūbunā Fī ‘Akinnatin Mimmā Tad`ūnā ‘Ilayhi Wa Fī ‘Ādhāninā Waqrun Wa Min Bayninā Wa Baynika Ĥijābun Fā`mal ‘Innanā `Āmilūna
41:5  And they say, “Our hearts (are) in coverings from what you call us to it, and in our ears (is) deafness, and from between us and between you (is) a screen. So work, indeed, we (are) working.”
5. Wa qaaloo quloobunaa feee akinnatim mimmaa tad’oonaaa ilaihi wa feee aazaaninaa waqrunw wa mim baininaa wa bainika hijaabun fa’mal innanaa ‘aamiloon
6. قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ يُوحَىٰ إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَا إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَاسْتَقِيمُوا إِلَيْهِ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ ۗ وَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ
Qul ‘Innamā ‘Anā Basharun Mithlukum Yūĥá ‘Ilayya ‘Annamā ‘Ilahukum ‘Ilahun Wāĥidun Fāstaqīmū ‘Ilayhi Wa Astaghfirūhu Wa Waylun Lilmushrikīna
41:6  Say, “Only I am a man like you, it is revealed to me that your god (is) God One; so take a Straight Path to Him and ask His forgiveness.” And woe to the polytheists,
6. Qul innamaaa ana basharum mislukum yoohaaa ilaiya annamaaa ilaahukum Ilaahunw Waahidun fastaqeemooo ilaihi wastaghfirooh; wa wailul lil mushrikeen
7. الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُمْ بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ
Al-Ladhīna Lā Yu’utūna Az-Zakāata Wa Hum Bil-‘Ākhirati Hum Kāfirūna
41:7  Those who (do) not give the zakah, and they in the Hereafter they (are) disbelievers.
7. Allazeena laa yu’toonaz Zakaata wa hum bil-Aakhiratihum kaafiroon
8. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ
‘Inna Al-Ladhīna ‘Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum ‘Ajrun Ghayru Mamnūnin
41:8  Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, for them (is) a reward never ending.
8. Innal lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati lahum ajrun ghairu mamnoon (section 1)
9. قُلْ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَكْفُرُونَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَتَجْعَلُونَ لَهُ أَنْدَادًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Qul ‘A’innakum Latakfurūna Bial-Ladhī Khalaqa Al-‘Arđa Fī Yawmayni Wa Taj`alūna Lahu ‘Andādāan Dhālika Rabbu Al-`Ālamīna
41:9  Say, “Do you indeed [surely] disbelieve in the One Who created the earth in two periods and you set up with Him rivals? That (is the) Lord (of) the worlds.”
9. Qul a’innakum latakfuroona billazee khalaqal arda fee yawmaini wa taj’aloona lahooo andaadaa; zaalika Rabbul ‘aalameen
10. وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ مِنْ فَوْقِهَا وَبَارَكَ فِيهَا وَقَدَّرَ فِيهَا أَقْوَاتَهَا فِي أَرْبَعَةِ أَيَّامٍ سَوَاءً لِلسَّائِلِينَ
Wa Ja`ala Fīhā Rawāsiya Min Fawqihā Wa Bāraka Fīhā Wa Qaddara Fīhā ‘Aqwātahā Fī ‘Arba`ati ‘Ayyāmin Sawā’an Lilssā’ilīna
41:10  And He placed therein firmly-set mountains from above it and He blessed therein, and determined therein its sustenance in four periods equal, for those who ask.
10. Wa ja’ala feehaa rawaa siya min fawqihaa wa baaraka feehaa wa qaddara feehaaaa aqwaatahaa feee arba’ati ayyaamin sawaaa’al lissaaa’ileen
11. ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَهِيَ دُخَانٌ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلْأَرْضِ ائْتِيَا طَوْعًا أَوْ كَرْهًا قَالَتَا أَتَيْنَا طَائِعِينَ
Thumma Astawá ‘Ilá As-Samā’i Wa Hiya Dukhānun Faqāla Lahā Wa Lil’arđi Ai’tiyā Ţaw`āan ‘Aw Karhāan Qālatā ‘Ataynā Ţā’i`īna
41:11  Then He directed (Himself) towards the heaven while it (was) smoke, and He said to it and to the earth, “Come both of you willingly or unwillingly.” They both said, “We come willingly.”
11. Summas tawaaa ilas-samaaa’i wa hiya dukhaanun faqaala lahaa wa lil ardi’tiyaaa taw’an aw karhan qaalataaa atainaa taaa’i’een
12. فَقَضَاهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَأَوْحَىٰ فِي كُلِّ سَمَاءٍ أَمْرَهَا ۚ وَزَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَحِفْظًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ
Faqađāhunna Sab`a Samāwātin Fī Yawmayni Wa ‘Awĥá Fī Kulli Samā’in ‘Amrahā Wa Zayyannā As-Samā’a Ad-Dunyā Bimaşābīĥa Wa Ĥifžāan Dhālika Taqdīru Al-`Azīzi Al-`Alīmi
41:12  Then He completed them (as) seven heavens in two periods and He revealed in each heaven its affair. And We adorned the heaven, [the world] with lamps and (to) guard. That (is the) Decree (of) the All-Mighty, the All-Knower.
12. Faqadaahunna sab’a samaawaatin fee yawmaini wa awhaa fee kulli samaaa’in amarahaa; wa zaiyannassa maaa’ad dunyaa bimasaabeeha wa hifzaa; zaalika taqdeerul ‘Azeezil ‘Aleem
13. فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَقُلْ أَنْذَرْتُكُمْ صَاعِقَةً مِثْلَ صَاعِقَةِ عَادٍ وَثَمُودَ
Fa’in ‘A`rađū Faqul ‘Andhartukum Şā`iqatan Mithla Şā`iqati `Ādin Wa Thamūda
41:13  But if they turn away, then say,“I have warned you (of) a thunderbolt like (the) thunderbolt (of) Aad and Thamud.”
13. Fa-in a’radoo faqul anzartukum saa’iqatam misla saa’iqati ‘Aadinw wa Samood
14. إِذْ جَاءَتْهُمُ الرُّسُلُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۖ قَالُوا لَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّنَا لَأَنْزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً فَإِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ
‘Idh Jā’at/humu Ar-Rusulu Min Bayni ‘Aydīhim Wa Min Khalfihim ‘Allā Ta`budū ‘Illā Al-Laha Qālū Law Shā’a Rabbunā La’anzala Malā’ikatan Fa’innā Bimā ‘Ursiltum Bihi Kāfirūna
41:14  When came to them the Messengers from between (their) hands (before them) and from behind them, (saying) “Do not worship except Allah.” They said, “If (had) willed our Lord, surely, He (would have) sent down Angels. So indeed, we in what you have been sent with (are) disbelievers.”
14. Iz jaaa’at humur Rusulu mim baini aydeehim wa min khalfihim allaa ta’budooo illal laaha qaaloo law shaaa’a Rabunaa la anzala malaaa ‘ikatan fa innaa bimaaa ursiltum bihee kaafiroon
15. فَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَقَالُوا مَنْ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً ۖ أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً ۖ وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ
Fa’ammā `Ādun Fāstakbarū Fī Al-‘Arđi Bighayri Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Qālū Man ‘Ashaddu Minnā Qūwatan ‘Awalam Yaraw ‘Anna Al-Laha Al-Ladhī Khalaqahum Huwa ‘Ashaddu Minhum Qūwatan Wa Kānū Bi’āyātinā Yajĥadūna
41:15  Then as for Aad, they were arrogant in the land without [the] right and they said, “Who (is) mightier than us (in) strength?“ Do not they see that Allah, the One Who created them, He (is) Mightier than them (in) strength? But they used to, in Our Signs, deny.
15. Fa ammaa ‘Aadun fastak baroo fil ardi bighairul haqqi wa qaaloo man ashaddu minnaa quwwatan awalam yaraw annal laahal lazee khalaqahum Huwa ashaddu minhum quwwatanw wa kaanoo bi Aayaatinaa yajhadoon
16. فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي أَيَّامٍ نَحِسَاتٍ لِنُذِيقَهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَخْزَىٰ ۖ وَهُمْ لَا يُنْصَرُونَ
Fa’arsalnā `Alayhim Rīĥāan Şarşarāan Fī ‘Ayyāmin Naĥisātin Linudhīqahum `Adhāba Al-Khizyi Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa La`adhābu Al-‘Ākhirati ‘Akhzá Wa Hum Lā Yunşarūna
41:16  So We sent upon them a wind furious in (the) days (of) misfortune, that We may make them taste (the) punishment (of) disgrace in the life (of) the world. And surely, (the) punishment (of) the Hereafter (is) more disgracing, and they not will be helped.
16. Fa arsalnaa ‘alaihim reehan sarsaran feee ayyaamin nahisaatil linuzeeqahum ‘azaabal khizyi fil hayaatid dunyaa wa la’azaabul Aakhirati akhzaa wa hum laa yunsaroon
17. وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ فَاسْتَحَبُّوا الْعَمَىٰ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ صَاعِقَةُ الْعَذَابِ الْهُونِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
Wa ‘Ammā Thamūdu Fahadaynāhum Fāstaĥabbū Al-`Amá `Alá Al-Hudá Fa’akhadhat/hum Şā`iqatu Al-`Adhābi Al-Hūni Bimā Kānū Yaksibūna
41:17  And as for Thamud, We guided them, but they preferred [the] blindness over the guidance,so seized them a thunderbolt (of) the punishment humiliating, for what they used to earn.
17. Wa ammaa Samoodu fahadinaahum fastahabbul ‘ama ‘alal huda fa akhazathum saa’iqatul ‘azaabil hooni bimaa kaanoo yaksiboon
18. وَنَجَّيْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَ
Wa Najjaynā Al-Ladhīna ‘Āmanū Wa Kānū Yattaqūna
41:18  And We saved those who believed and used to fear (Allah).
18. Wa najjainal lazeena aamanoo wa kaanoo yattaqoon (section 2)
19. وَيَوْمَ يُحْشَرُ أَعْدَاءُ اللَّهِ إِلَى النَّارِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ
Wa Yawma Yuĥsharu ‘A`dā’u Al-Lahi ‘Ilá An-Nāri Fahum Yūza`ūna
41:19  And (the) Day will be gathered (the) enemies (of) Allah to the Fire, then they will be assembled in rows,
19. Wa yawma yuhsharu a’daaa’ul laahi ilan Naari fahum yooza’oon
20. حَتَّىٰ إِذَا مَا جَاءُوهَا شَهِدَ عَلَيْهِمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَأَبْصَارُهُمْ وَجُلُودُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Ĥattá ‘Idhā Mā Jā’ūhā Shahida `Alayhim Sam`uhum Wa ‘Abşāruhum Wa Julūduhum Bimā Kānū Ya`malūna
41:20  Until, when (from) they come to it (will) testifyagainst them their hearing, and their sight, and their skins, (as) to what they used to do.
20. Hattaaa izaa maa jaaa’oohaa shahida ‘alaihim samu’uhum wa absaaruhum wa julooduhum bimaa kaanoo ya’maloon
21. وَقَالُوا لِجُلُودِهِمْ لِمَ شَهِدْتُمْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ قَالُوا أَنْطَقَنَا اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنْطَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
Wa Qālū Lijulūdihim Lima Shahidtum `Alaynā Qālū ‘Anţaqanā Al-Lahu Al-Ladhī ‘Anţaqa Kulla Shay’in Wa Huwa Khalaqakum ‘Awwala Marratin Wa ‘Ilayhi Turja`ūna
41:21  And they will say to their skins, “Why do you testify against us?” They will say, Made us speak Allah, the One Who makes speak every thing; and He created you (the) first time, and to Him you will be returned.”
21. Wa qaaloo lijuloodihim lima shahittum ‘alainaa qaaloo antaqanal laahul lazeee antaqa kulla shai’inw wa Huwa khalaqakum awwala marratinw wa ilaihi turja’oon
22. وَمَا كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَتِرُونَ أَنْ يَشْهَدَ عَلَيْكُمْ سَمْعُكُمْ وَلَا أَبْصَارُكُمْ وَلَا جُلُودُكُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ ظَنَنْتُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَعْلَمُ كَثِيرًا مِمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
Wa Mā Kuntum Tastatirūna ‘An Yash/hada `Alaykum Sam`ukum Wa Lā ‘Abşārukum Wa Lā Julūdukum Wa Lakin Žanantum ‘Anna Al-Laha Lā Ya`lamu Kathīrāan Mimmā Ta`malūna
41:22  And not you were covering yourselves lest testify against you your hearing and not your sight and not your skins, but you assumed that Allah (does) not know much of what you do.
22. Wa maa kuntum tastatiroona ai-yashhada ‘alaikum sam’ukum wa laaa absaarukum wa laa juloodukum wa laakin zanantum annal laaha laa ya’lamu kaseeram mimmaa ta’maloon
23. وَذَٰلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ الَّذِي ظَنَنْتُمْ بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَاكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Wa Dhalikum Žannukumu Al-Ladhī Žanantum Birabbikum ‘Ardākum Fa’aşbaĥtum Mina Al-Khāsirīna
41:23  And that (was) your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. It has ruined you, and you have become of the losers.
23. Wa zaalikum zannukumul lazee zanantum bi-Rabbikum ardaakum fa asbahtum minal khaasireen
24. فَإِنْ يَصْبِرُوا فَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَهُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ يَسْتَعْتِبُوا فَمَا هُمْ مِنَ الْمُعْتَبِينَ
Fa’in Yaşbirū Fālnnāru Mathwáan Lahum Wa ‘In Yasta`tibū Famā Hum Mina Al-Mu`tabīna
41:24  Then if they endure, the Fire (is) an abode for them; and if they ask for favor, then not they (will be) of those who receive favor.
24. Fa-iny yasbiroo fan Naaru maswal lahum wa iny-yasta’tiboo famaa hum minal mu’tabeen
25. وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَاءَ فَزَيَّنُوا لَهُمْ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا خَاسِرِينَ
Wa Qayyađnā Lahum Quranā’a Fazayyanū Lahum Mā Bayna ‘Aydīhim Wa Mā Khalfahum Wa Ĥaqqa `Alayhimu Al-Qawlu Fī ‘Umamin Qad Khalat Min Qablihim Mina Al-Jinni Wa Al-‘Insi ‘Innahum Kānū Khāsirīna
41:25  And We have destined for them companions (who) made fair-seeming to them, what between (their) hands (before them) and what (was) behind them, and (is) justified against them the Word among nations (that have) indeed passed away from before them of the jinn and the men. Indeed, they were losers.
25. Wa qaiyadnaa lahum quranaaa’a fazaiyanoo lahum maa baina aideehim wa maa khalfahum wa haqqa ‘alaihimul qawlu feee umamin  qad khalat min qablihim minal jinni wal insi innahum kaanoo khaasireen (section 3)
26. وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَسْمَعُوا لِهَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَالْغَوْا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَغْلِبُونَ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lā Tasma`ū Lihadhā Al-Qur’āni Wa Al-Ghaw Fīhi La`allakum Taghlibūna
41:26  And said those who disbelieve, “(Do) not listen to this Quran, and make noise therein, so that you may overcome.”
26. Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo laa tasma’oo lihaazal Quraani walghaw feehi la’allakum taghliboon
27. فَلَنُذِيقَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَسْوَأَ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Falanudhīqanna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū `Adhābāan Shadīdāan Wa Lanajziyannahum ‘Aswa’a Al-Ladhī Kānū Ya`malūna
41:27  But surely We will cause to taste those who disbelieve a punishment severe, and surely We will recompense them (the) worst (of) what they used to do.
27. Falanuzeeqannal lazeena kafaroo ‘azaaban shadeedanw wa lanajziyannahum aswallazee kaanoo ya’maloon
28. ذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ أَعْدَاءِ اللَّهِ النَّارُ ۖ لَهُمْ فِيهَا دَارُ الْخُلْدِ ۖ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ
Dhālika Jazā’u ‘A`dā’i Al-Lahi An-Nāru Lahum Fīhā Dāru Al-Khuldi Jazā’an Bimā Kānū Bi’āyātinā Yajĥadūna
41:28  That (is the) recompense (of the) enemies (of) Allah – the Fire; for them therein (is the) home (of) the eternity (as) recompense for what they used to, of Our Verses, reject.
28. Zaalika jazaaa’u a’daaa’il laahin Naaru lahum feehaa daarul khuld, jazaaa’am bimaa kaanoo bi aayaatinaa yajhadoon
29. وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا رَبَّنَا أَرِنَا اللَّذَيْنِ أَضَلَّانَا مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ نَجْعَلْهُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا لِيَكُونَا مِنَ الْأَسْفَلِينَ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Rabbanā ‘Arinā Al-Ladhayni ‘Ađallānā Mina Al-Jinni Wa Al-‘Insi Naj`alhumā Taĥta ‘Aqdāminā Liyakūnā Mina Al-‘Asfalīna
41:29  And (will) say those who disbelieve, “Our Lord! Show us those who misled us of the jinn and the men, (so) we may put them under our feet, that they be of the lowest.”
29. Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo Rabbanaaa arinal lazaini adal laanaa minal jinni wal insi naj’alhumaa tahta aqdaaminaa liyakoonaa minal asfaleen
30. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
‘Inna Al-Ladhīna Qālū Rabbunā Al-Lahu Thumma Astaqāmū Tatanazzalu `Alayhimu Al-Malā’ikatu ‘Allā Takhāfū Wa Lā Taĥzanū Wa ‘Abshirū Bil-Jannati Allatī Kuntum Tū`adūna
41:30  Indeed, those who say, “Our Lord, (is) Allah,” then stand firm – will descend on them the Angels, “(Do) not fear, and (do) not grieve but receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you were promised.
30. Innal lazeena qaaloo Rabbunal laahu summas taqaamoo tatanazzalu ‘alaihimul malaaa ‘ikatu allaa takhaafoo wa laa tahzanoo wa abshiroo bil Jannnatil latee kuntum too’adoon
31. نَحْنُ أَوْلِيَاؤُكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِي أَنْفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ
Naĥnu ‘Awliyā’uukum Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Fī Al-‘Ākhirati Wa Lakum Fīhā Mā Tashtahī ‘Anfusukum Wa Lakum Fīhā Mā Tadda`ūna
41:31  We (are) your protectors in the life (of) the world and in the Hereafter. And for you therein whatever desire your souls, and for you therein what you ask,
31. Nahnu awliyaaa’ukum fil hayaatid dunyaa wa fil Aakhirati wa lakum feehaa maa tashtaheee anfusukum wa lakum feehaa ma tadda’oon
32. نُزُلًا مِنْ غَفُورٍ رَحِيمٍ
Nuzulāan Min Ghafūrin Raĥīmin
41:32  A hospitable gift from (the) Oft-Forgiving, (the) Most Merciful.”
32. Nuzulam min Ghafoorir Raheem (section 4)
33. وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
Wa Man ‘Aĥsanu Qawlāan Mimman Da`ā ‘Ilá Al-Lahi Wa `Amila Şāliĥāan Wa Qāla ‘Innanī Mina Al-Muslimīna
41:33  And who (is) better (in) speech than (one) who invites to Allah and does righteous (deeds) and says, “Indeed, I am of those who submit?”
33. Wa man ahsanu qawlam mimman da’aaa ilal laahi wa ‘amila saalihanw wa qaala innanee minal muslimeen
34. وَلَا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ ۚ ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ
Wa Lā Tastawī Al-Ĥasanatu Wa Lā As-Sayyi’atu Adfa` Bi-latī Hiya ‘Aĥsanu Fa’idhā Al-Ladhī Baynaka Wa Baynahu `Adāwatun Ka’annahu Wa Līyun Ĥamīmun
41:34  And not (are) equal the good (deed) and the evil (deed). Repel by (that) which [it] (is) better; then behold! One who, between you and between him, (was) enmity, (will become) as if he (was) a friend intimate.
34. Wa laa tastawil hasanatu wa las saiyi’ah; idfa’ billatee hiya ahsanu fa’izal lazee bainaka wa bainahoo ‘adaawatun ka’annahoo waliyun hameem
35. وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ
Wa Mā Yulaqqāhā ‘Illā Al-Ladhīna Şabarū Wa Mā Yulaqqāhā ‘Illā Dhū Ĥažžin`Ažīmin
41:35  And not it is granted except (to) those who (are) patient and not it is granted except (to the) owner (of) fortune great.
35. Wa maa yulaqqaahaaa illal lazeena sabaroo wa maa yulaqqaahaaa illaa zoo hazzin ‘azeem
36. وَإِمَّا يَنْزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ نَزْغٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Wa ‘Immā Yanzaghannaka Mina Ash-ShayţāniNazghun Fāsta`idh Bil-Lahi ‘Innahu Huwa As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu
41:36  And if whisper comes to you from the Shaitaan, an evil suggestion, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He [He] (is) the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
36. Wa immaa yanzaghannaka minash Shaitaani nazghun fasta’iz billaahi innahoo Huwas Samee’ul ‘Aleem
37. وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ ۚ لَا تَسْجُدُوا لِلشَّمْسِ وَلَا لِلْقَمَرِ وَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُنَّ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ
Wa Min ‘Āyātihi Al-Laylu Wa An-Nahāru Wa Ash-Shamsu Wa Al-Qamaru Lā Tasjudū Lilshshamsi Wa Lā Lilqamari Wa Asjudū Lillahi Al-Ladhī Khalaqahunna ‘In Kuntum ‘Īyāhu Ta`budūna
41:37  And of His Signs (are) the night and the day and the sun and the moon. (Do) not prostrate to the sun and not to the moon, but prostrate to Allah the One Who created them, if you, Him alone, worship.
37. Wa min Aayaatihil lailu wannahaaru washshamsu walqamar; laa tasjudoo lishshamsi wa laa lilqamari wasjudoo lillaahil lazee khala qahunna in kuntum iyyaahu ta’budoon
38. فَإِنِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فَالَّذِينَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْأَمُونَ ۩
Fa’ini Astakbarū Fa-Al-Ladhīna `Inda Rabbika Yusabbiĥūna Lahu Bil-Layli Wa An-Nahāri Wa Hum Lā Yas’amūna
41:38  But if they are arrogant, then those who (are) near your Lord, glorify Him by night and day. And they (do) nottire.
38. Fa inis-takbaroo fallazee na ‘inda Rabbika yusabbihoona lahoo billaili wannnahaari wa hum laa yas’amoon (make sajda)
39. وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنَّكَ تَرَى الْأَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً فَإِذَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِي أَحْيَاهَا لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Wa Min ‘Āyātihi ‘Annaka Tará Al-‘Arđa Khāshi`atan Fa’idhā ‘Anzalnā `Alayhā Al-Mā’a Ahtazzat Wa Rabat ‘Inna Al-Ladhī ‘Aĥyāhā Lamuĥyī Al-Mawtá ‘Innahu `Alá Kulli Shay’in Qadīrun
41:39  And among His Signs (is) that you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it water it is stirred (to life) and grows. Indeed, the One Who gives it life, (is) surely the Giver of life (to) the dead. Indeed, He (is) on every thing All-Powerful.
39. Wa min Aayaatiheee annaka taral arda khaashi’atan fa izaaa anzalna ‘alaihal maaa’ah tazzat wa rabat; innal lazeee ahyaahaa lamuhiyil mawtaa; innahoo ‘alaa kulli shai-in Qadeer
40. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا لَا يَخْفَوْنَ عَلَيْنَا ۗ أَفَمَنْ يُلْقَىٰ فِي النَّارِ خَيْرٌ أَمْ مَنْ يَأْتِي آمِنًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ اعْمَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
‘Inna Al-Ladhīna Yulĥidūna Fī ‘Āyātinā Lā Yakhfawna `Alaynā ‘Afaman Yulqá Fī An-Nāri Khayrun ‘Am Man Ya’tī ‘Āmināan Yawma Al-Qiyāmati A`malū Mā Shi’tum ‘Innahu Bimā Ta`malūna Başīrun
41:40  Indeed, those who distort [in] Our Verses (are) not hidden from Us. So, is (he) who is cast in the Fire better or (he) who comes secure (on the) Day (of) Resurrection? Do what you will. Indeed, He of what you do (is) All-Seer.
40. Innal lazeena yulhidoona feee Aayaatina laa yakhfawna ‘alainaa’ afamai yulqaa fin Naari khayrun am mai yaateee aaminai Yawmal Qiyaamah; i’maloo ma shi’tum innahoo bimaa ta’maloona Baseer
41. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِالذِّكْرِ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ ۖ وَإِنَّهُ لَكِتَابٌ عَزِيزٌ
‘Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bidh-Dhikri Lammā Jā’ahum Wa ‘Innahu Lakitābun `Azīzun
41:41  Indeed, those who disbelieve in the Reminder when it comes to them. And indeed, it (is) surely a Book mighty.
41. Innal Lazeena kafaroo biz Zikri lammaa jaa’ahum wa innahoo la Kitaabun ‘Azeez
42. لَا يَأْتِيهِ الْبَاطِلُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا مِنْ خَلْفِهِ ۖ تَنْزِيلٌ مِنْ حَكِيمٍ حَمِيدٍ
Lā Ya’tīhi Al-Bāţilu Min Bayni Yadayhi Wa Lā Min Khalfihi Tanzīlun Min Ĥakīmin Ĥamīdin
41:42  Not comes to it the falsehood from (from) between his hands and not from behind it. A Revelation from (the) All-Wise, (the) Praiseworthy.
42. Laa yaateehil baatilu mim baini yadaihi wa laa min khalfihee tanzeelum min Hakeemin Hameed
43. مَا يُقَالُ لَكَ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ قِيلَ لِلرُّسُلِ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ وَذُو عِقَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
Mā Yuqālu Laka ‘Illā Mā Qad Qīla Lilrrusuli Min Qablika ‘Inna Rabbaka Ladhū Maghfiratin Wa Dhū `Iqābin ‘Alīmin
41:43  Not is said to you except what indeed was said to the Messengers from before you. Indeed, your Lord (is) Possessor (of) forgiveness, and Possessor (of) penalty painful.
43. Maa yuqaalu laka illaa maa qad qeela lir Rusuli min qablik; inna Rabbaka lazoo maghfiratinw wa zoo ‘iqaabin aleem
44. وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا أَعْجَمِيًّا لَقَالُوا لَوْلَا فُصِّلَتْ آيَاتُهُ ۖ أَأَعْجَمِيٌّ وَعَرَبِيٌّ ۗ قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هُدًى وَشِفَاءٌ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ فِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرٌ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَمًى ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ يُنَادَوْنَ مِنْ مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ
Wa Law Ja`alnāhu Qur’ānāan ‘A`jamīyāan Laqālū Lawlā Fuşşilat ‘Āyātuhu ‘A’a`jamīyun Wa `Arabīyun Qul Huwa Lilladhīna ‘Āmanū Hudáan Wa Shifā’un Wa Al-Ladhīna Lā Yu’uminūna Fī ‘Ādhānihim Waqrun Wa Huwa `Alayhim `Amáan ‘Ūlā’ika Yunādawna Min Makānin Ba`īdin
41:44  And if We (had) made it a Quran (in) a foreign (language), they (would have) said, “Why not are explained in detail its verses? (Is it) a foreign (language) and an Arab?” Say, “It (is) for those who believe, a guidance and a healing.” And those who (do) not believe, in their ears (is) deafness, and it (is) for them blindness. Those are being called from a place far.”
44. Wa law ja’alnaahu Qur-aanan A’jamiyyal laqaaloo law laa fussilat Aayaatuhoo ‘a A’jamiyyunw wa ‘Arabiyy; qul huwa lillazeena aamanoo hudanw wa shifaaa’unw wallazeena la yu’minoona feee aazaanihim waqrunw wa huwa ‘alaihim ‘amaa; ulaaa’ika yunaadawna mim maakaanim ba’eed (section 5)
45. وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَاخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ ۗ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِنْهُ مُرِيبٍ
Wa Laqad ‘ĀtaynāMūsá Al-Kitāba Fākhtulifa Fīhi Wa Lawlā Kalimatun Sabaqat Min Rabbika Laquđiya Baynahum Wa ‘Innahum Lafī Shakkin Minhu Murībin
41:45  And certainly, We gave Musa the Book, but disputes arose therein. And had it not been (for) a word (that) preceded from your Lord, surely, would have been settled between them. But indeed, they surely (are) in doubt about it disquieting.
45. Wa laqad aatainaa Moosal Kitaaba fakhtulifa fee; wa lawlaa Kalimatun sabaqat mir Rabbika laqudiya bainahum; wa innahum lafee shakkim minhu mureeb
46. مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَسَاءَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۗ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ
Man `Amila Şāliĥāan Falinafsihi Wa Man ‘Asā’a Fa`alayhā Wa Mā Rabbuka Bižallāmin Lil`abīdi
41:46  Whoever does righteous deeds then it is for his soul; and whoever does evil, then it is against it. And not (is) your Lord unjust to His slaves.
46. Man ‘amila salihan falinafsihee wa man asaaa’a fa’alaihaa; wamaa rabbuka bizallaamil lil ‘abeed (End Juz 24)
47. إِلَيْهِ يُرَدُّ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ ۚ وَمَا تَخْرُجُ مِنْ ثَمَرَاتٍ مِنْ أَكْمَامِهَا وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنْثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلْمِهِ ۚ وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِي قَالُوا آذَنَّاكَ مَا مِنَّا مِنْ شَهِيدٍ
‘Ilayhi Yuraddu `Ilmu As-Sā`ati Wa Mā Takhruju Min Thamarātin Min ‘Akmāmihā Wa Mā Taĥmilu Min ‘Unthá Wa Lā Tađa`u ‘Illā Bi`ilmihi Wa Yawma Yunādīhim ‘Ayna Shurakā’ī Qālū ‘Ādhannāka Mā Minnā Min Shahīdin
41:47  To Him is referred (the) knowledge (of) the Hour. And not come out any fruits from their coverings, and not bears any female and not gives birth except with His knowledge. And (the) Day He will call them, “Where (are) My partners? They will say, “We announce (to) You, not among us any witness.“
47. Ilaihi yuraddu ‘ilmus Saaa’ah; wa maa takhruju min samaraatim min akmaamihaa wa maa tahmilu min unsaa wa laa tada’u illaa bi’ilmih; wa Yawma yunaadeehim aina shurakaaa’ee qaalooo aazannaaka maa minnaa min shaheed
48. وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَدْعُونَ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ وَظَنُّوا مَا لَهُمْ مِنْ مَحِيصٍ
Wa Đalla `Anhum Mā Kānū Yad`ūna Min Qablu Wa Žannū Mā Lahum Min Maĥīşin
41:48  And lost from them what they were invoking from before, and they (will) be certain (that) not for them any place of escape.
48. Wa dalla ‘anhum maa kaanoo yad’oona min qablu wa zannoo maa lahum mim mahees
49. لَا يَسْأَمُ الْإِنْسَانُ مِنْ دُعَاءِ الْخَيْرِ وَإِنْ مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَيَئُوسٌ قَنُوطٌ
Lā Yas’amu Al-‘Insānu Min Du`ā’i Al-Khayri Wa ‘In Massahu Ash-Sharru Faya’ūsun Qanūţun
41:49  (Does) not get tired man of praying (for) the good, but if touches him the evil then he gives up hope (and) despairs.
49. Laa yas’amul insaanu min du’aaa’il khairi wa im massa hush sharru fa ya’oosun qanoot
50. وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَاهُ رَحْمَةً مِنَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ ضَرَّاءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ هَٰذَا لِي وَمَا أَظُنُّ السَّاعَةَ قَائِمَةً وَلَئِنْ رُجِعْتُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي إِنَّ لِي عِنْدَهُ لَلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُمْ مِنْ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ
Wa La’in ‘Adhaqnāhu Raĥmatan Minnā Min Ba`di Đarrā’a Massat/hu Layaqūlanna Hādhā Lī Wa Mā ‘Ažunnu As-Sā`ata Qā’imatan Wa La’in Ruji`tu ‘Ilá Rabbī ‘Inna Lī `Indahu Lalĥusná Falanunabbi’anna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bimā `Amilū Wa Lanudhīqannahum Min `Adhābin Ghalīžin
41:50  And verily, if We let him taste mercy from Us from after an adversity (has) touched him, he will surely say, “This (is) (due) to me and not I think the Hour (will be) established, and if I am returned to my Lord, indeed, for me with Him (will be) the best.“ But We will surely inform those who disbelieved about what they did, and We will make them taste of a punishment severe.
50. Wa la in azaqnaahu rahmatam minnaa mim ba’di dar raaa’a massat hu la yaqoolanna haazaa lee wa maaa azunnus Saa’ata qaaa’imatanw wa la’in ruji’tu ilaa Rabbeee inna lee ‘indahoo lalhusnaa; falanu nabbi’annal lazeena kafaroo bimaa ‘amiloo wa lanuzeeqan nahum min ‘azaabin ghaleez
51. وَإِذَا أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَأَىٰ بِجَانِبِهِ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَاءٍ عَرِيضٍ
Wa ‘Idhā ‘An`amnā `Alá Al-‘Insāni ‘A`rađa Wa Na’á Bijānibihi Wa ‘Idhā Massahu Ash-Sharru Fadhū Du`ā’in `Arīđin
41:51  And when We bestow upon man, he turns away – and becomes remote on his side; but when touches him the evil, then (he is) full (of) supplication lengthy.
51. Wa izaaa an’amnaa ‘alal insaani a’rada wa na-aa bijaani bihee wa izaa massahush sharru fazoo du’aaa’in ‘areed
52. قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرْتُمْ بِهِ مَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ هُوَ فِي شِقَاقٍ بَعِيدٍ
Qul ‘Ara’aytum ‘In Kāna Min `Indi Al-Lahi Thumma Kafartum Bihi Man ‘Ađallu Mimman Huwa Fī Shiqāqin Ba`īdin
41:52  Say, “You see – if it is from that Allah then you disbelieve in it, who (is) more astray than (one) who – he (is) in opposition far?”
52. Qul araaitum in kaana min ‘indil laahi summa kafar tum bihee man adallu mimman huwa fee shiqaqim ba’eed
53. سَنُرِيهِمْ آيَاتِنَا فِي الْآفَاقِ وَفِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ ۗ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
Sanurīhim ‘Āyātinā Fī Al-‘Āfāqi Wa Fī ‘Anfusihim Ĥattá Yatabayyana Lahum ‘Annahu Al-Ĥaqqu ‘Awalam Yakfi Birabbika ‘Annahu `Alá Kulli Shay’in Shahīdun
41:53  Soon We will show them Our Signs in the horizons and in themselves until becomes clear to them, that it (is) the truth. Is (it) not sufficient concerning your Lord, that He (is) over all things a Witness?
53. Sanureehim Aayaatinaa fil aafaaqi wa feee anfusihim hattaa yatabaiyana lahum annahul haqq; awa lam yakfi bi Rabbika annahoo ‘alaa kulli shai-in Shaheed
54. أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِنْ لِقَاءِ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُحِيطٌ
‘Alā ‘Innahum Fī Miryatin Min Liqā’i Rabbihim ‘Alā ‘Innahu Bikulli Shay’in Muĥīţun
41:54  Unquestionably, they (are) in doubt about (the) meeting (with) their Lord? Unquestionably, indeed, He (is) of all things encompassing.
54. Alaaa innahum fee miryatim mil liqaaa’i Rabbihim; alaaa innahoo bikulli shai’im muheet (section 6)
