43:1 Ha Meem.
1. Haa-Meeem
2. وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ
Wa Al-Kitābi Al-Mubīni
43:2 By the Book the clear,
2. Wal Kitaabil Mubeen
3. إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
‘Innā Ja`alnāhu Qur’ānāan `Arabīyāan La`allakum Ta`qilūna
43:3 Indeed, We (have) made it a Quran (in) Arabic so that you may understand.
3. Innaa ja’alnaahu Quraanan ‘Arabiyyal la’allakum ta’qiloon
4. وَإِنَّهُ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ
Wa ‘Innahu Fī ‘Ummi Al-Kitābi Ladaynā La`alīyun Ĥakīmun
43:4 And indeed, it (is) in (the) Mother (of) the Book with Us, surely exalted, full of wisdom.
4. Wa innahoo feee Ummil Kitaabi Ladainaa la’aliyyun hakeem
5. أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنْكُمُ الذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَنْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا مُسْرِفِينَ
‘Afanađribu `Ankumu Adh-Dhikra Şafĥāan ‘An Kuntum Qawmāan Musrifīna
43:5 Then should We take away from you the Reminder, disregarding (you), because you are a people transgressing?
5. Afa nadribu ‘ankumuz Zikra safhan an kuntum qawman musrifeen
6. وَكَمْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ فِي الْأَوَّلِينَ
Wa Kam ‘Arsalnā Min Nabīyin Fī Al-‘Awwalīna
43:6 And how many we sent from a Prophet among the former (people),
6. Wa kam arsalnaa min Nabiyyin fil awwaleen
7. وَمَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
Wa Mā Ya’tīhim Min Nabīyin ‘Illā Kānū Bihi Yastahzi’ūn
43:7 And not came to them from any Prophet but they used to at him mock.
7. Wa maa yaateehim min Nabiyyin illaa kaanoo bihee yastahzi’oon
8. فَأَهْلَكْنَا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ بَطْشًا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
Fa’ahlaknā ‘Ashadda Minhum Baţshāan Wa Mađá Mathalu Al-‘Awwalīna
43:8 Then We destroyed stronger than them (in) power and has passed (the) example (of) the former (people).
8. Fa ahlaknaaa ashadda minhum batshanw wa madaa masalul awwaleen
9. وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ خَلَقَهُنَّ الْعَزِيزُ الْعَلِيمُ
Wa La’in Sa’altahum Man Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđa Layaqūlunna Khalaqahunna Al-`Azīzu Al-`Alīmu
43:9 And if you ask them, “Who created the heavens and the earth?” They will surely say, “Created them the All-Mighty, the All-Knower,”
9. Wa la’in sa altahum man khalaqas samaawaati wal arda la yaqoolunna khalaqa hunnal ‘Azeezul ‘Aleem
10. الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
Al-Ladhī Ja`ala Lakumu Al-‘Arđa Mahdāan Wa Ja`ala Lakum Fīhā Subulāan La`allakum Tahtadūna
43:10 The One Who made for you the earth a bed, and made for you therein roads so that you may (be) guided,
10. Allazee ja’ala lakumul arda mahdanw wa ja’ala lakum feehaa subulan la’allakum tahtadoon
11. وَالَّذِي نَزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً بِقَدَرٍ فَأَنْشَرْنَا بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَيْتًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ
Wa Al-Ladhī Nazzala Mina As-Samā’i Mā’an Biqadarin Fa’ansharnā Bihi Baldatan Maytāan Kadhālika Tukhrajūna
43:11 And the One Who sends down from the sky water in (due) measure, then We revive with it a land dead, thus you will be brought forth,
11. Wallazee nazzala minas samaaa’i maaa’am biqadarin fa ansharnaa bihee baldatam maitaa’ kazaalika tukhrajoon
12. وَالَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الْفُلْكِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَ
Wa Al-Ladhī Khalaqa Al-‘Azwāja Kullahā Wa Ja`ala Lakum Mina Al-Fulki Wa Al-‘An`ām Mā Tarkabūna
43:12 And the One Who created the pairs all of them and made for you [of] the ships and the cattle what you ride,
12. Wallazee khalaqal azwaaja kullahaa wa ja’ala lakum minal fulki wal-an’aami maa tarkaboon
13. لِتَسْتَوُوا عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا اسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ
Litastawū `Alá Žuhūrihi Thumma Tadhkurū Ni`mata Rabbikum ‘Idhā Astawaytum `Alayhi Wa Taqūlū Subĥāna Al-Ladhī Sakhkhara Lanā Hādhā Wa Mā Kunnā Lahu Muqrinīna
43:13 That you may sit firmly, on their backs, then remember (the) favor (of) your Lord when you sit firmly on them and say, “Glory be (to) the One Who (has) subjected to us this, and not we were of it capable.
13. Litastawoo ‘alaa zuhoorihee summa tazkuroo ni’mata Rabbikum izastawaitum ‘alaihi wa taqooloo Subhaanal lazee sakhkhara lana haaza wa maa kunnaa lahoo muqrineen
14. وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ
Wa ‘Innā ‘Ilá Rabbinā Lamunqalibūna
43:14 And indeed, we to our Lord, will surely return.”
14. Wa innaaa ilaa Rabbinaa lamunqaliboon
15. وَجَعَلُوا لَهُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ جُزْءًا ۚ إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَكَفُورٌ مُبِينٌ
Wa Ja`alū Lahu Min `Ibādihi Juz’āan ‘Inna Al-‘Insāna Lakafūrun Mubīnun
43:15 But they attribute to Him from His slaves a portion. Indeed, man surely (is) ungrateful clearly.
15. Wa ja’aloo lahoo min ‘ibaadihee juz’aa; innal insaana la kafoorun mubeen (section 1)
16. أَمِ اتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ بَنَاتٍ وَأَصْفَاكُمْ بِالْبَنِينَ
‘Am Attakhadha Mimmā Yakhluqu Banātin Wa ‘Aşfākum Bil-Banīna
43:16 Or has He taken of what, He has created, daughters and He has chosen (for) you sons.
16. Amit takhaza mimmaa yakhluqu banaatinw wa asfaakum bilbaneen
17. وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُمْ بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ مَثَلًا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
Wa ‘Idhā Bushshira ‘Aĥaduhum Bimā Đaraba Lilrraĥmani Mathalāan Žalla Wajhuhu Muswaddāan Wa Huwa Kažīmun
43:17 And when is given good news, (to) one of them, of what he sets up for the Most Gracious (as) a likeness, becomes his face dark and he (is) filled with grief.
17. Wa izaa bushshira ahaduhum bimaa daraba lir Rahmaani masalan zalla wajhuhoo muswaddanw wa huwa kazeem
18. أَوَمَنْ يُنَشَّأُ فِي الْحِلْيَةِ وَهُوَ فِي الْخِصَامِ غَيْرُ مُبِينٍ
‘Awaman Yunashsha’u Fī Al-Ĥilyati Wa Huwa Fī Al-Khişāmi Ghayru Mubīnin
43:18 Then (is one) who is brought up in ornaments and he in the dispute (is) not clear.
18. Awa mai yunashsha’u fil hilyati wa huwa fil khisaami ghairu mubeen
19. وَجَعَلُوا الْمَلَائِكَةَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عِبَادُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ إِنَاثًا ۚ أَشَهِدُوا خَلْقَهُمْ ۚ سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَادَتُهُمْ وَيُسْأَلُونَ
Wa Ja`alū Al-Malā’ikata Al-Ladhīna Hum `Ibādu Ar-Raĥmāni ‘Ināthāan ‘Ashahidū Khalqahum Satuktabu Shahādatuhum Wa Yus’alūna
43:19 And they made, the Angels, those who themselves (are) slaves (of) the Most Gracious, females. Did they witness their creation? Will be recorded their testimony, and they will be questioned.
19. Wa ja’alul malaaa’ikatal lazeena hum ‘ibaadur Rahmaani inaasaa; ‘a shahidoo khalqahum; satuktabu shahaadatuhum wa yus’aloon
20. وَقَالُوا لَوْ شَاءَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ مَا عَبَدْنَاهُمْ ۗ مَا لَهُمْ بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ
Wa Qālū Law Shā’a Ar-Raĥmānu Mā `Abadnāhum Mā Lahum Bidhālika Min `Ilmin ‘In Hum ‘Illā Yakhruşūna
43:20 And they say, “If had willed the Most Gracious, that we would not have worshipped them.” Not they have about that any knowledge. Nothing they (do) but lie.
20. Wa qaaloo law shaaa’ar Rahmaanu maa ‘abadnaahum; maa lahum bizaalika min ‘ilmin in hum illaa yakhrusoon
21. أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَابًا مِنْ قَبْلِهِ فَهُمْ بِهِ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ
‘Am ‘Ātaynāhum Kitābāan Min Qablihi Fahum Bihi Mustamsikūna
43:21 Or have We given them a book from before it, so they to it (are) holding fast?
21. Am aatainaahum Kitaaban min qablihee fahum bihee mustamsikoon
22. بَلْ قَالُوا إِنَّا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا عَلَىٰ أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ مُهْتَدُونَ
Bal Qālū ‘Innā Wajadnā ‘Ābā’anā `Alá ‘Ummatin Wa ‘Innā `Alá ‘Āthārihim Muhtadūna
43:22 Nay, they say, “Indeed, we [we] found our forefathers upon a religion and indeed, we on their footsteps (are) guided.”
22. Bal qaalooo innaa wajadnaaa aabaaa’anaa ‘alaaa ummatinw wa innaa ‘alaaa aasaarihim muhtadoon
23. وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِنْ نَذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَا إِنَّا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا عَلَىٰ أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ مُقْتَدُونَ
Wa Kadhalika Mā ‘Arsalnā Min Qablika Fī Qaryatin Min Nadhīrin ‘Illā Qāla Mutrafūhā ‘Innā Wajadnā ‘Ābā’anā `Alá ‘Ummatin Wa ‘Innā `Alá ‘Āthārihim Muqtadūna
43:23 And thus not We sent from before you in a town any warner except said (the) wealthy ones of it, “Indeed, we [we] found our forefathers on a religion, and indeed, we [on] their footsteps (are) following.”
23. Wa kazaalika maaa arsalnaa min qablika fee qaryatim min nazeerin illaa qaala mutrafoohaaa innaa wajadnaaa aabaaa’anaa ‘alaaa ummatinw wa innaa ‘alaaa aasaarihim muqtadoon
24. قَالَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِأَهْدَىٰ مِمَّا وَجَدْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَكُمْ ۖ قَالُوا إِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ
Qāla ‘Awalaw Ji’tukum Bi’ahdá Mimmā Wajadtum `Alayhi ‘Ābā’akum Qālū ‘Innā Bimā ‘Ursiltum Bihi Kāfirūna
43:24 He said, “Even if I brought you better guidance than what you found on it your forefathers?” They said, “Indeed, we with what you are sent with [it] (are) disbelievers.”
24. Qaala awa law ji’tukum bi ahdaa mimmaa wajatdtum ‘alaihi aabaaa’akum qaalooo innaa bimaaa ursiltum bihee kaafiroon
25. فَانْتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ ۖ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Fāntaqamnā Minhum Fānžur Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Mukadhdhibīna
43:25 So We took retribution from them. Then see how was (the) end (of) the deniers.
25. Fantaqamnaa minhum fanzur kaifa kaana ‘aaqibatul mukazzibeen (section 2)
26. وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ إِنَّنِي بَرَاءٌ مِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ
Wa ‘Idh Qāla ‘Ibrāhīmu Li’abīhi Wa Qawmihi ‘Innanī Barā’un Mimmā Ta`budūna
43:26 And when Said Ibrahim to his father and his people, “Indeed, I (am) disassociated from what you worship
26. Wa iz qaala Ibraaheemu liabeehi wa qawmiheee innane baraaa’um mimmaa ta’budoon
27. إِلَّا الَّذِي فَطَرَنِي فَإِنَّهُ سَيَهْدِينِ
‘Illā Al-Ladhī Faţaranī Fa’innahu Sayahdīni
43:27 Except the One Who created me; and indeed, He will guide me.”
27. Illal lazee fataranee fa innahoo sa yahdeen
28. وَجَعَلَهَا كَلِمَةً بَاقِيَةً فِي عَقِبِهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Wa Ja`alahā Kalimatan Bāqiyatan Fī `Aqibihi La`allahum Yarji`ūna
43:28 And he made it a word lasting among his descendents, so that they may return.
28. Wa ja’alahaa kalimatan baaqiyatan fee ‘aqibihee la ‘allahum yarji’oon
29. بَلْ مَتَّعْتُ هَٰؤُلَاءِ وَآبَاءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَاءَهُمُ الْحَقُّ وَرَسُولٌ مُبِينٌ
Bal Matta`tu Hā’uulā‘ Wa ‘Ābā’ahum Ĥattá Jā’ahumu Al-Ĥaqqu Wa Rasūlun Mubīnun
43:29 Nay, I gave enjoyment (to) these and their forefathers until came to them the truth and a Messenger clear.
29. Bal matta’tu haaa’ulaaa’i wa aabaaa’ahum hattaa jaaa’a humul haqqu wa Rasoolun mubeen
30. وَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمُ الْحَقُّ قَالُوا هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ وَإِنَّا بِهِ كَافِرُونَ
Wa Lammā Jā’ahumu Al-Ĥaqqu Qālū Hādhā Siĥrun Wa ‘Innā Bihi Kāfirūna
43:30 And when came to them the truth, they said, “This (is) magic, and indeed, we of it (are) disbelievers.”
30. Wa lammaa jaaa’ahumul haqqu qaaloo haazaa sihrunw wa innaa bihee kaafiroon
31. وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنُ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْقَرْيَتَيْنِ عَظِيمٍ
Wa Qālū Lawlā Nuzzila Hādhā Al-Qur’ānu `Alá Rajulin Mina Al-Qaryatayni `Ažīmin
43:31 And they say, “Why not was sent down this the Quran to a man, from the two towns, great?”
31. Wa qaaloo law laa nuzzila haazal Quraanu ‘alaa rajulin minal qaryataini ‘azeem
32. أَهُمْ يَقْسِمُونَ رَحْمَتَ رَبِّكَ ۚ نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ مَعِيشَتَهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَرَفَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِيَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا سُخْرِيًّا ۗ وَرَحْمَتُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ
‘Ahum Yaqsimūna Raĥmata Rabbika Naĥnu Qasamnā Baynahum Ma`īshatahum Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Rafa`nā Ba`đahum Fawqa Ba`đin Darajātin Liyattakhidha Ba`đuhum Ba`đāan Sukhrīyāan Wa Raĥmatu Rabbika Khayrun Mimmā Yajma`ūna
43:32 Do they distribute (the) Mercy (of) your Lord? We [We] distribute among them their livelihood in the life (of) the world, and We raise some of them above others (in) degrees so that may take, some of them, others, (for) service. But (the) Mercy (of) your Lord (is) better than what they accumulate.
32. ‘A hum yaqsimoona rahmata Rabbik; Nahnu qasamnaa bainahum ma’eeshatahum fil hayaatid dunyaa wa rafa’naa ba’dahum fawqa ba’din darajaatin li yattakhiza ba’duhum ba’dan sukhriyyaa; wa rahmatu Rabbika khairun mimmaa yajma’oon
33. وَلَوْلَا أَنْ يَكُونَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً لَجَعَلْنَا لِمَنْ يَكْفُرُ بِالرَّحْمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُقُفًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيْهَا يَظْهَرُونَ
Wa Lawlā ‘An Yakūna An-Nāsu ‘Ummatan Wāĥidatan Laja`alnā Liman Yakfuru Bir-Raĥmani Libuyūtihim Suqufāan Min Fađđatin Wa Ma`ārija `Alayhā Yažharūna
43:33 And if not that (would) become [the] mankind a community one, We (would have) made for (one) who disbelieves in the Most Gracious for their houses roofs of silver and stairways upon which they mount
33. Wa law laaa any yakoonan naasu ummatanw waahidatan laja’alnaa limany yakfuru bir Rahmaani li buyootihim suqufan min fiddatinw wa ma’aarija ‘alaihaa yazharoon
34. وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَابًا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِئُونَ
Wa Libuyūtihim ‘Abwābāan Wa Sururāan `Alayhā Yattaki’ūna
43:34 And for their houses doors and couches upon which they recline
34. Wa li buyootihim abwaabanw wa sururan ‘alaihaa yattaki’oon
35. وَزُخْرُفًا ۚ وَإِنْ كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَالْآخِرَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
Wa Zukhrufāan Wa ‘In Kullu Dhālika Lammā Matā`u Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-‘Ākhiratu `Inda Rabbika Lilmuttaqīna
43:35 And ornaments of gold. And not (is) all that but an enjoyment (of) the life (of) the world. And the Hereafter with your Lord (is) for the righteous.
35. Wa zukhrufaa; wa in kullu zaalika lammaa mataa’ul hayaatid dunyaa; wal aakhiratu ‘inda Rabbika lilmuttaqeen (section 3)
36. وَمَنْ يَعْشُ عَنْ ذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ نُقَيِّضْ لَهُ شَيْطَانًا فَهُوَ لَهُ قَرِينٌ
Wa Man Ya`shu `An Dhikri Ar-Raĥmāni Nuqayyiđ Lahu Shayţānāan Fahuwa Lahu Qarīnun
43:36 And whoever turns away from (the) remembrance (of) the Most Gracious, We appoint for him a devil, then he (is) to him a companion.
36. Wa mai ya’shu ‘an zikrir Rahmaani nuqaiyid lahoo Shaitaanan fahuwa lahoo qareen
37. وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ
Wa ‘Innahum Layaşuddūnahum `Ani As-Sabīli Wa Yaĥsabūna ‘Annahum Muhtadūna
43:37 And indeed, they surely, turn them from the Path and they think that they (are) guided.
37. Wa innahum la yasuddoo nahum ‘anis sabeeli wa yahsaboona annahum muhtadoon
38. حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَنَا قَالَ يَا لَيْتَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ بُعْدَ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ فَبِئْسَ الْقَرِينُ
Ĥattá ‘Idhā Jā’anā Qāla Yā Layta Baynī Wa Baynaka Bu`da Al-Mashriqayni Fabi’sa Al-Qarīnu
43:38 Until when he comes to Us he says, “O would that between me and between you (were the) distance (of) the East and the West.” How wretched is the companion!
38. Hattaaa izaa jaaa’anaa qaala yaa laita bainee wa bainaka bu’dal mashriqaini fabi’sal qareen
39. وَلَنْ يَنْفَعَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ إِذْ ظَلَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
Wa Lan Yanfa`akumu Al-Yawma ‘Idh Žalamtum ‘Annakum Fī Al-`Adhābi Mushtarikūna
43:39 And never will benefit you the Day, when you have wronged, that you (will be) in the punishment sharing.
39. Wa lai yanfa’akumul Yawma iz zalamtum annakum fil ‘azaabi mushtarikoon
40. أَفَأَنْتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ أَوْ تَهْدِي الْعُمْيَ وَمَنْ كَانَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
‘Afa’anta Tusmi`u Aş-Şumma ‘Aw Tahdī Al-`Umya Wa Man Kāna Fī Đalālin Mubīnin
43:40 Then can you cause to hear the deaf or guide the blind and (one) who is in an error clear?
40. Afa anta tusmi’us summa aw tahdil ‘umya wa man kaana fee dalaalin mubeen
41. فَإِمَّا نَذْهَبَنَّ بِكَ فَإِنَّا مِنْهُمْ مُنْتَقِمُونَ
Fa’immā Nadh/habanna Bika Fa’innā Minhum Muntaqimūna
43:41 And whether We take away you, then indeed, We, from them (will) take retribution.
41. Fa immaa nazhabanna bika fa innaa minhum muntaqimoon
42. أَوْ نُرِيَنَّكَ الَّذِي وَعَدْنَاهُمْ فَإِنَّا عَلَيْهِمْ مُقْتَدِرُونَ
‘Aw Nuriyannaka Al-Ladhī Wa`adnāhum Fa’innā `Alayhim Muqtadirūna
43:42 Or We show you that which We have promised them, then indeed, We over them have full power.
42. Aw nuriyannakal lazee wa’adnaahum fa innaa ‘alaihim muqtadiroon
43. فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِالَّذِي أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
Fāstamsik Bial-Ladhī ‘Ūĥiya ‘Ilayka ‘Innaka `Alá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
43:43 So hold fast to that which is revealed to you. Indeed, you (are) on a Path Straight.
43. Fastamsik billazeee oohiya ilaika innaka ‘alaa Siraatin Mustaqeem
44. وَإِنَّهُ لَذِكْرٌ لَكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ ۖ وَسَوْفَ تُسْأَلُونَ
Wa ‘Innahu Ladhikrun Laka Wa Liqawmika Wa Sawfa Tus’alūna
43:44 And indeed, it (is) surely, a Reminder for you and your people, and soon you will be questioned.
44. Wa innahoo la zikrun laka wa liqawmika wa sawfa tus’aloon
45. وَاسْأَلْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رُسُلِنَا أَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ دُونِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ آلِهَةً يُعْبَدُونَ
Wa As’al Man ‘Arsalnā Min Qablika Min Rusulinā ‘Aja`alnā Min Dūni Ar-Raĥmāni ‘Ālihatan Yu`badūna
43:45 And ask (those) whom We sent from before you of Our Messengers; did We make from besides the Most Gracious gods to be worshipped?
45. Was’al man arsalnaa min qablika mir Rusulinaaa ‘a ja’alnaa min doonir Rahmaani aalihatany yu’badoon (section 4)
46. وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa Laqad ‘Arsalnā Mūsá Bi’āyātinā ‘Ilá Fir`awna Wa Mala’ihi Faqāla ‘Innī Rasūlu Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna
43:46 And certainly We sent Musa with Our Signs to Firaun and his chiefs, and he said, “Indeed, I am a Messenger (of the) Lord (of) the worlds.”
46. Wa laqad arsalnaa Moosaa bi aayaatinaaa ilaa Fir’awna wa mala’ihee faqaala innee Rasoolu Rabbil ‘aalameen
47. فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ بِآيَاتِنَا إِذَا هُمْ مِنْهَا يَضْحَكُونَ
Falammā Jā’ahum Bi’āyātinā ‘Idhā Hum Minhā Yađĥakūna
43:47 But when he came to them with Our Signs, behold! They at them laughed.
47. Falamma jaaa’ahum bi aayaatinaaa izaa hum minhaa yadhakoon
48. وَمَا نُرِيهِمْ مِنْ آيَةٍ إِلَّا هِيَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ أُخْتِهَا ۖ وَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Wa Mā Nurīhim Min ‘Āyatin ‘Illā Hiya ‘Akbaru Min ‘Ukhtihā Wa ‘Akhadhnāhum Bil-`Adhābi La`allahum Yarji`ūna
43:48 And not We showed them of a Sign but it (was) greater than its sister, and We seized them with the punishment so that they may return.
48. Wa maa nureehim min aayatin illaa hiya akbaru min ukhtihaa wa akhaznaahum bil’azaabi la’allahum yarji’oon
49. وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَ السَّاحِرُ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِنْدَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُونَ
Wa Qālū Yā ‘Ayyuhā As-Sāĥiru Ad`u Lanā Rabbaka Bimā `Ahida `Indaka ‘Innanā Lamuhtadūn
43:49 And they said, “O [the] magician! Invoke for us your Lord by what He has made covenant with you. Indeed, we (will) surely be guided.”
49. Wa qaaloo yaaa ayyuhas saahirud’u lanaa Rabbaka bimaa ‘ahida ‘indaka innanaa lamuhtadoon
50. فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ إِذَا هُمْ يَنْكُثُونَ
Falammā Kashafnā `Anhumu Al-`Adhāba ‘Idhā Hum Yankuthūna
43:50 But when We removed from them the punishment behold! They broke (their word).
50. Falammaa kashafnaa ‘anhumul ‘azaaba izaa hum yankusoon
51. وَنَادَىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ فِي قَوْمِهِ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِي مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَٰذِهِ الْأَنْهَارُ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِي ۖ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
Wa Nādá Fir`awnu Fī Qawmihi Qāla Yā Qawmi ‘Alaysa Lī Mulku Mişra Wa Hadhihi Al-‘Anhāru Tajrī Min Taĥtī ‘Afalā Tubşirūna
43:51 And called out Firaun among his people; he said, “O my people! Is not for me (the) kingdom (of) Egypt and these [the] rivers flowing from underneath me? Then do not you see?
51. Wa naadaa Fir’awnu fee qawmihee qaala yaa qawmi alaisa lee mulku Misra wa haazihil anhaaru tajree min tahtee afalaa tubsiroon
52. أَمْ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ هَٰذَا الَّذِي هُوَ مَهِينٌ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُبِينُ
‘Am ‘Anā Khayrun Min Hādhā Al-Ladhī Huwa Mahīnun Wa Lā Yakādu Yubīnu
43:52 Or am I better than this, one who – he (is) insignificant and not hardly clear?
52. Am ana khairun min haazal lazee huwa maheenunw wa laa yakaadu yubeen
53. فَلَوْلَا أُلْقِيَ عَلَيْهِ أَسْوِرَةٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ أَوْ جَاءَ مَعَهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ مُقْتَرِنِينَ
Falawlā ‘Ulqiya `Alayhi ‘Aswiratun Min Dhahabin ‘Aw Jā’a Ma`ahu Al-Malā’ikatu Muqtarinīna
43:53 Then why not are placed on him bracelets of gold or come with him the Angels accompanying (him)?”
53. Falaw laa ulqiya ‘alaihi aswiratun min zahabin aw jaaa’a ma’ahul malaaa’ikatu muqtarineen
54. فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَأَطَاعُوهُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ
Fāstakhaffa Qawmahu Fa’aţā`ūhu ‘Innahum Kānū Qawmāan Fāsiqīna
43:54 So he bluffed his people, and they obeyed him. Indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient.
54. Fastakhaffa qawmahoo fa ataa’ooh; innahum kaanoo qawman faasiqeen
55. فَلَمَّا آسَفُونَا انْتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Falammā ‘Āsafūnā Antaqamnā Minhum Fa’aghraqnāhum ‘Ajma`īna
43:55 So when they angered Us, We took retribution from them, and We drowned them all.
55. Falammaaa aasafoonan taqamnaa minhum fa aghraqnaahum ajma’een
56. فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِلْآخِرِينَ
Faja`alnāhum Salafāan Wa Mathalāan Lil’ākhirīna
43:56 And We made them a precedent and an example for the later (generations).
56. Faja’alnaahum salafanw wa masalan lil aakhireen (section 5)
57. وَلَمَّا ضُرِبَ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْهُ يَصِدُّونَ
Wa Lammā Đuriba Abnu Maryama Mathalāan ‘Idhā Qawmuka Minhu Yaşiddūna
43:57 And when is presented, (the) son (of) Maryam, (as) an example behold! Your people about it laughed aloud.
57. Wa lammaa duribab nu Maryama masalan izaa qawmuka minhu yasiddoon
58. وَقَالُوا أَآلِهَتُنَا خَيْرٌ أَمْ هُوَ ۚ مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلًا ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ خَصِمُونَ
Wa Qālū ‘A’ālihatunā Khayrun ‘Am Huwa Mā Đarabūhu Laka ‘Illā Jadalāan Bal Hum Qawmun Khaşimūna
43:58 And they said, “Are our gods better or he?” Not they present it to you except (for) argument. Nay, they (are) a people argumentative.
58. Wa qaalooo ‘a-aalihatunaa khairun am hoo; maa daraboohu laka illaa jadalaa; balhum qawmun khasimoon
59. إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبْدٌ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ مَثَلًا لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ
‘In Huwa ‘Illā `Abdun ‘An`amnā `Alayhi Wa Ja`alnāhu Mathalāan Libanī ‘Isrā’īla
43:59 Not he (was) except a slave, We bestowed Our favor on him and We made him an example for (the) Children (of) Israel.
59. In huwa illaa ‘abdun an’amnaa ‘alaihi wa ja’alnaahu masalan li Baneee Israaa’eel
60. وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَجَعَلْنَا مِنْكُمْ مَلَائِكَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ يَخْلُفُونَ
Wa Law Nashā’u Laja`alnā Minkum Malā’ikatan Fī Al-‘Arđi Yakhlufūna
43:60 And if We willed, surely We (could have) made among you Angels in the earth succeeding.
60. Wa law nashaaa’u laja’alnaa minkum malaaa’ikatan fil ardi yakhlufoon
61. وَإِنَّهُ لَعِلْمٌ لِلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمْتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَاتَّبِعُونِ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
Wa ‘Innahu La`ilmun Lilssā`ati Falā Tamtarunna Bihā Wa Attabi`ūnī Hādhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun
43:61 And indeed, it surely (is) a knowledge of the Hour. So (do) not (be) doubtful about it, and follow Me. This (is the) Path Straight.
61. Wa innahoo la ‘ilmun lis Saa’ati fa laa tamtarunna bihaa wattabi’oon; haazaa Siraatun Mustaqeem
62. وَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ
Wa Lā Yaşuddannakumu Ash-Shayţānu ‘Innahu Lakum `Adūwun Mubīnun
43:62 And (let) not avert you the Shaitaan. Indeed, he (is) for you an enemy clear.
62. Wa laa yasuddan nakumush Shaitaanu innahoo lakum ‘aduwwun mubeen
63. وَلَمَّا جَاءَ عِيسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالَ قَدْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَلِأُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِي تَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
Wa Lammā Jā’a `Īsá Bil-Bayyināti Qāla Qad Ji’tukum Bil-Ĥikmati Wa Li’abayyina Lakum Ba`đa Al-Ladhī Takhtalifūna Fīhi Fa Attaqū Al-Laha Wa ‘Aţī`ūni
43:63 And when came Isa with clear proofs, he said, “Verily, I have come to you with wisdom and that I make clear to you some (of) that which you differ in it. So fear Allah and obey me.
63. Wa lammaa jaaa’a ‘Eesaa bilbaiyinaati qaala qad ji’tukum bil Hikmati wa li-ubaiyina lakum ba’dal lazee takhtalifoona feehi fattaqul laaha wa atee’oon
64. إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
‘Inna Al-Laha Huwa Rabbī Wa Rabbukum Fā`budūhu Hādhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun
43:64 Indeed, Allah, He (is) my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This (is) a Path Straight.”
64. Innal laaha Huwa Rabbee wa Rabbukum fa’budooh; haaza Siraatum Mustaqeem
65. فَاخْتَلَفَ الْأَحْزَابُ مِنْ بَيْنِهِمْ ۖ فَوَيْلٌ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمٍ أَلِيمٍ
Fākhtalafa Al-‘Aĥzābu Min Baynihim Fawaylun Lilladhīna Žalamū Min `Adhābi Yawmin ‘Alīmin
43:65 But differed the factions from among them, so woe to those who wronged from (the) punishment (of the) Day painful.
65. Fakhtalafal ahzaabu min bainihim fa wailun lil lazeena zalamoo min ‘azaabi Yawmin aleem
66. هَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا السَّاعَةَ أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Hal Yanžurūna ‘Illā As-Sā`ata ‘An Ta’tiyahum Baghtatan Wa Hum Lā Yash`urūna
43:66 Are they waiting except (for) the Hour that it should come on them suddenly while they (do) not perceive?
66. Hal yanzuroona illas Saa’ata an ta’tiyahum baghtatanw wa hum laa yash’uroon
67. الْأَخِلَّاءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا الْمُتَّقِينَ
Al-‘Akhillā’u Yawma’idhin Ba`đuhum Liba`đin `Adūwun ‘Illā Al-Muttaqīna
43:67 Friends that Day, some of them to others (will be) enemies except the righteous,
67. Al akhillaaa’u Yawma’izin ba’duhum liba’din ‘aduwwun illal muttaqeen (section 6)
68. يَا عِبَادِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَا أَنْتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ
Yā `Ibādi Lā Khawfun `Alaykumu Al-Yawma Wa Lā ‘Antum Taĥzanūna
43:68 “O My slaves! No fear on you this Day and not you will grieve,
68. Yaa ‘ibaadi laa khawfun ‘alaikumul Yawma wa laaa antum tahzanoon
69. الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ
Al-Ladhīna ‘Āmanū Bi’āyātinā Wa Kānū Muslimīna
43:69 Those who believed in Our Verses and were submissive.
69. Allazeena aamanoo bi Aayaatinaa wa kaanoo muslimeen
70. ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ أَنْتُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُكُمْ تُحْبَرُونَ
Adkhulū Al-Jannata ‘Antum Wa ‘Azwājukum Tuĥbarūna
43:70 Enter Paradise, you and your spouses delighted.”
70. Udkhulul Jannata antum wa azwaajukum tuhbaroon
71. يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِصِحَافٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ ۖ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ الْأَنْفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ الْأَعْيُنُ ۖ وَأَنْتُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
Yuţāfu `Alayhim Bişiĥāfin Min Dhahabin Wa ‘Akwābin Wa Fīhā Mā Tashtahīhi Al-‘Anfusu Wa Taladhdhu Al-‘A`yunu Wa ‘Antum Fīhā Khālidūna
43:71 Will be circulated for them plates of gold and cups. And therein (is) what desires the souls and delights the eyes, and you therein will abide forever.
71. Yutaafu ‘alaihim bisihaa fim min zahabinw wa akwaab, wa feehaa maatashtaheehil anfusu wa talazzul a’yunu wa antum feehaa khaalidoon
72. وَتِلْكَ الْجَنَّةُ الَّتِي أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Wa Tilka Al-Jannatu Allatī ‘Ūrithtumūhā Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna
43:72 And this (is) the Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used to do.
72. Wa tilkal jannatul lateee ooristumoohaa bimaa kuntum ta’maloon
73. لَكُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ كَثِيرَةٌ مِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ
Lakum Fīhā Fākihatun Kathīratun Minhā Ta’kulūna
43:73 For you therein (are) fruits abundant, from it you will eat.
73. Lakum feehaa faakihatun kaseeratun minhaa ta’kuloon
74. إِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِينَ فِي عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدُونَ
‘Inna Al-Mujrimīna Fī `Adhābi Jahannama Khālidūn
43:74 Indeed, the criminals (will be) in (the) punishment (of) Hell abiding forever.
74. Innal mujrimeena fee ‘azaabi jahannama khaalidoon
75. لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنْهُمْ وَهُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ
Lā Yufattaru `Anhum Wa Hum Fīhi Mublisūna
43:75 Not will it subside for them, and they in it (will) despair.
75. Laa yufattaru ‘anhum wa hum feehi mublisoon
76. وَمَا ظَلَمْنَاهُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانُوا هُمُ الظَّالِمِينَ
Wa Mā Žalamnāhum Wa Lakin Kānū Humu Až-Žālimīna
43:76 And not We wronged them but they were themselves wrongdoers.
76. Wa maa zalamnaahum wa laakin kaanoo humuz zaalimeen
77. وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ لِيَقْضِ عَلَيْنَا رَبُّكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ مَاكِثُونَ
Wa Nādaw Yā Māliku Liyaqđi `Alaynā Rabbuka Qāla ‘Innakum Mākithūna
43:77 And they will call, “O Malik! Let put an end to us your Lord.” He (will) say, “Indeed, you (will) remain.”
77. Wa naadaw yaa Maaliku liyaqdi ‘alainaa Rabbuka qaala innakum maakithoon
78. لَقَدْ جِئْنَاكُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَارِهُونَ
Laqad Ji’nākum Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Lakinna ‘Aktharakum Lilĥaqqi Kārihūna
43:78 Certainly, We have brought you the truth, but most of you, to the truth (are) averse.
78. Laqad ji’naakum bilhaqqi wa laakinna aksarakum lil haqqi kaarihoon
79. أَمْ أَبْرَمُوا أَمْرًا فَإِنَّا مُبْرِمُونَ
‘Am ‘Abramū ‘Amrāan Fa’innā Mubrimūna
43:79 Or have they determined an affair? Then indeed, We (are) determined.
79. Am abramooo amran fainnaa mubrimoon
80. أَمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَاهُمْ ۚ بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ
‘Am Yaĥsabūna ‘Annā Lā Nasma`u Sirrahum Wa Najwāhum Balá Wa Rusulunā Ladayhim Yaktubūna
43:80 Or (do) they think that We (can) not hear their secret(s) and their private counsel(s)? Nay, and Our Messengers with them, are recording.
80. Am yahsaboona annaa laa nasma’u sirrahum wa najwaahum; balaa wa Rusulunaa ladaihim yaktuboon
81. قُلْ إِنْ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْعَابِدِينَ
Qul ‘In Kāna Lilrraĥmani Waladun Fa’anā ‘Awwalu Al-`Ābidīna
43:81 Say, “If had the Most Gracious a son. Then, I (would be the) first (of) the worshippers.”
81. Qul in kaana lir Rahmaani walad; fa-ana awwalul ‘aabideen
82. سُبْحَانَ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Subĥāna Rabbi As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđi Rabbi Al-`Arshi `Ammā Yaşifūna
43:82 Glory be (to the) Lord, (of) the heavens and the earth, (the) Lord (of) the Throne, above what they ascribe.
82. Subhaana Rabbis samaawaati wal ardi Rabbil Arshi ‘ammaa yasifoon
83. فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا وَيَلْعَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يُلَاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
Fadharhum Yakhūđū Wa Yal`abū Ĥattá Yulāqū Yawmahumu Al-Ladhī Yū`adūna
43:83 So leave them (to) converse vainly and play until they meet their Day which they are promised
83. Fazarhum yakhoodoo wa yal’aboo hattaa yulaaqoo Yawmahumul lazee yoo’adoon
84. وَهُوَ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ إِلَٰهٌ وَفِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَٰهٌ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْعَلِيمُ
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Fī As-Samā’i ‘Ilahun Wa Fī Al-‘Arđi ‘Ilahun Wa Huwa Al-Ĥakīmu Al-`Alīmu
43:84 And He (is) the One Who (is) in the heaven – God, and in the earth – God. And He (is) the All-Wise, the All-Knower.
84. Wa Huwal lazee fissamaaa’i ilaahunw wa fil ardi ilaah; wa Huwal Hakeemul ‘Aleem
85. وَتَبَارَكَ الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَعِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
Wa Tabāraka Al-Ladhī Lahu Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđi Wa Mā Baynahumā Wa `Indahu `Ilmu As-Sā`ati Wa ‘Ilayhi Turja`ūna
43:85 And blessed (is) the One Who – to Whom (belongs the) dominion (of) the heavens and the earth and whatever (is) between both of them and with Him (is the) knowledge (of) the Hour, and to Him you will be returned.
85. Wa tabaarakal lazee lahoo mulkus samaawaati wal ardi wa maa bainahumaa wa ‘indahoo ‘ilmus Saa’ati wa ilaihi turja’oon
86. وَلَا يَمْلِكُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنْ شَهِدَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa LāYamliku Al-Ladhīna Yad`ūna Min Dūnihi Ash-Shafā`ata ‘Illā Man Shahida Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Hum Ya`lamūna
43:86 And not have power those whom they invoke from besides Him (for) the intercession; except who testifies to the truth, and they know.
86. Wa laa yamlikul lazeena yad’oona min doonihish shafaa’ata illaa man shahida bilhaqqi wa hum ya’lamoon
87. وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
Wa La’in Sa’altahum Man Khalaqahum Layaqūlunna Al-Lahu Fa’anná Yu’ufakūna
43:87 And if you ask them who created them, they will certainly say, “Allah.” Then how are they deluded?
87. Wa la’in sa altahum man khalaqahum la yaqoolun nallaahu fa annaa yu’fakoon
88. وَقِيلِهِ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa Qīlihi Yā Rabbi ‘Inna Hā’uulā’ Qawmun Lā Yu’uminūna
43:88 And his saying, “O my Lord! Indeed, these (are) a people (who do) not believe.”
88. Wa qeelihee yaa Rabbi inna haaa’ulaaa’i qawmul laa yu’minoon
89. فَاصْفَحْ عَنْهُمْ وَقُلْ سَلَامٌ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
Fāşfaĥ `Anhum Wa Qul Salāmun Fasawfa Ya`lamūna
43:89 So turn away from them and say, “Peace.” But soon they will know.
89. Fasfah ‘anhum wa qul salaam; fasawfa ya’lamoon (section 7)
