Ĥā-Mīm
44:1  Ha Meem.
1. Haa Meeem
2. وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ
Wa Al-Kitābi Al-Mubīni
44:2  By the Book the clear,
2. Wal Kitaabil Mubeen
3. إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنْذِرِينَ
‘Innā Anzalnāhu Laylatin Mubārakatin Innā Kunnā Mundhirīna
44:3  Indeed, We revealed it in a Night Blessed. Indeed, We [We] are (ever) warning.
3. Innaaa anzalnaahu fee lailatim mubaarakah; innaa kunnaa munzireen
4. فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ
Fīhā Yufraqu Kullu Amrin Ĥakīmin
44:4  Therein is made distinct every affair, wise,
4. Feehaa yufraqu kullu amrin hakeem
5. أَمْرًا مِنْ عِنْدِنَا ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ
Amrāan Min `Indinā Innā Kunnā Mursilīna
44:5  A command from Us. Indeed, We [We] are (ever) sending,
5. Amram min ‘indinaaa; innaa kunnaa mursileen
6. رَحْمَةً مِنْ رَبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Raĥmatan Min Rabbika Innahu Huwa As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu
44:6  As Mercy from your Lord. Indeed, He [He] (is) the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
6. Rahmatam mir rabbik; innahoo Huwas Samee’ul ‘Aleem
7. رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُوقِنِينَ
Rabbi As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđi Wa Mā Baynahumā In Kuntum Mūqinīna
44:7  Lord (of) the heavens and the earth and whatever (is) between both of them, if you are certain.
7. Rabbis samaawaati wal ardi wa maa bainahumaa; in kuntum mooqineen
8. لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ۖ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ آبَائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
 ‘Ilāha Illā Huwa Yuĥyī Wa Yumītu Rabbukum Wa Rabbu ‘Ābā’ikumu Al-‘Awwalīna
44:8  (There is) no god except Him; He gives life and causes death, your Lord and (the) Lord (of) your fathers the former.
8. Laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa yuhyee  wa yumeetu Rabbukum wa Rabbu aabaaa’ikumul awwaleen
9. بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ يَلْعَبُونَ
Bal Hum  Shakkin Yal`abūna
44:9  Nay, they (are) in doubt playing.
9. Bal hum fee shakkiny yal’aboon
10. فَارْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِي السَّمَاءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُبِينٍ
Fārtaqib Yawma Ta’tī As-Samā’u Bidukhānin Mubīnin
44:10  Then watch (for the) Day (when) will bring the sky smoke visible,
10. Fartaqib Yawma ta’tis samaaa’u bi dukhaanin mubeen
11. يَغْشَى النَّاسَ ۖ هَٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Yaghshá An-Nāsa Hādhā `Adhābun Alīmun
44:11  Enveloping the people. This (will be) a punishment painful.
11. Yaghshan naasa haazaa ‘azaabun aleem
12. رَبَّنَا اكْشِفْ عَنَّا الْعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤْمِنُونَ
Rabbanā Akshif `Annā Al-`AdhābaInnā Mu’uminūna
44:12  “Our Lord! Remove from us the punishment; indeed, we (are) believers.”
12. Rabbanak shif ‘annal ‘azaaba innaa mu’minoon
13. أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ الذِّكْرَىٰ وَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مُبِينٌ
Anná Lahumu Adh-Dhikrá Wa Qad Jā’ahum Rasūlun Mubīnun
44:13  How can (there be) for them the reminder, when verily, had come to them a Messenger clear.
13. Annaa lahumuz zikraa wa qad jaaa’ahum Rasoolum mubeen
14. ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا مُعَلَّمٌ مَجْنُونٌ
Thumma Tawallaw `Anhu Wa Qālū Mu`allamun Majnūnun
44:14  Then they turned away from him and said, “One taught, a mad man.”
14. Summaa tawallaw ‘anhu wa qaaloo mu’allamum majnoon
15. إِنَّا كَاشِفُو الْعَذَابِ قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّكُمْ عَائِدُونَ
Innā Kāshifū Al-`Adhābi Qalīlāan Innakum `Ā’idūna
44:15  Indeed, We (will) remove the punishment a little, indeed, you (will) return.
15. Innaa kaashiful ‘azaabi qaleelaa; innakum ‘aaa’idoon
16. يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ الْبَطْشَةَ الْكُبْرَىٰ إِنَّا مُنْتَقِمُونَ
Yawma Nabţishu Al-Baţshata Al-Kubrá Innā Muntaqimūna
44:16  (The) Day We will seize (with) the seizure the greatest, indeed, We (will) take retribution.
16. Yawma nabtishul batsha tal kubraa innaa muntaqimoon
17. وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَرِيمٌ
Wa Laqad Fatannā Qablahum Qawma Fir`awna Wa Jā’ahum Rasūlun Karīmun
44:17  And certainly, We tried before them (the) people (of) Firaun, and came to them a Messenger noble.
17. Wa laqad fatannaa qablahum qawma Fir’awna wa jaaa’ahum Rasoolun kareem
18. أَنْ أَدُّوا إِلَيَّ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
An Addū Ilayya `Ibāda Al-Lahi Innī Lakum Rasūlun Amīnun
44:18  That, “Deliver to me (the) servants (of) Allah. Indeed, I am to you a Messenger trustworthy.
18. An addooo ilaiya ‘ibaadal laahi innee lakum Rasoolun ameen
19. وَأَنْ لَا تَعْلُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّي آتِيكُمْ بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ
Wa ‘An  Ta`lū `Alá Al-Lahi Innī Ātīkum Bisulţānin Mubīnin
44:19  And that (do) not exalt yourselves against Allah. Indeed, I [I] have come to you with an authority clear.
19. Wa al laa ta’loo ‘alal laahi innee aateekum bisultaanim mubeen
20. وَإِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمْ أَنْ تَرْجُمُونِ
Wa ‘Innī `Udhtu Birabbī Wa RabbikumAn Tarjumūni
44:20  And indeed, I [I] seek refuge with my Lord and your Lord lest you stone me.
20. Wa innee ‘uztu bi Rabbee wa rabbikum an tarjumoon
21. وَإِنْ لَمْ تُؤْمِنُوا لِي فَاعْتَزِلُونِ
Wa ‘In Lam Tu’uminū Fā`tazilūni
44:21  And if not you believe me, then leave me alone.”
21. Wa il lam tu’minoo lee fa’taziloon
22. فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ مُجْرِمُونَ
Fada`ā Rabbahu Anna Hā’uulā’ Qawmun Mujrimūna
44:22  So he called his Lord,That these (are) a people criminals.”
22. Fada’aa rabbahooo anna haaa’ulaaa’i qawmum mujrimoon
23. فَأَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي لَيْلًا إِنَّكُمْ مُتَّبَعُونَ
Fa’asri Bi`ibādī Laylāan Innakum Muttaba`ūna
44:23  Then “Set out with My slaves (by) night. Indeed, you (will be) followed.
23. Fa asri bi’ibaadee lailan innakum muttaba’oon
24. وَاتْرُكِ الْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا ۖ إِنَّهُمْ جُنْدٌ مُغْرَقُونَ
Wa Atruki Al-Baĥra Rahwan Innahum Jundun Mughraqūna
44:24  And leave the sea at rest. Indeed, they (are) an army (to be) drowned.”
24. Watrukil bahra rahwan innahum jundum mughraqoon
25. كَمْ تَرَكُوا مِنْ جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
Kam Tarakū Min Jannātin Wa `Uyūnin
44:25  How many (did) they leave of gardens and springs,
25. Kam tarakoo min jannaatinw wa ‘uyoon
26. وَزُرُوعٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ
Wa Zurū`in Wa Maqāmin Karīmin
44:26  And cornfields and places noble,
26. Wa zuroo’inw wa maqaa min kareem
27. وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوا فِيهَا فَاكِهِينَ
Wa Na`matin Kānū Fīhā Fākihīna
44:27  And pleasant things they used to therein take delight!
27. Wa na’matin kaanoo feehaa faakiheen
28. كَذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ
Kadhālika Wa ‘Awrathnāhā Qawmāan Ākharīna
44:28  Thus. And We made it (an) inherit(ance) (for) a people another.
28. Kazaalika wa awrasnaahaa qawman aakhareen
29. فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنْظَرِينَ
Famā Bakat `Alayhimu As-Samā’u Wa Al-‘Arđu Wa Mā Kānū Munžarīna
44:29  And not wept for them the heaven and the earth and not they were given respite.
29. Famaa bakat ‘alaihimus samaaa’u wal ardu wa maa kaanoo munzareen
30. وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ الْمُهِينِ
Wa Laqad Najjaynā Banī Isrā’īla Mina Al-`Adhābi Al-Muhīni
44:30  And certainly, We saved (the) Children (of) Israel from the punishment the humiliating,
30. Wa laqad najjainaa Baneee Israaa’eela minal’azaabil muheen
31. مِنْ فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَالِيًا مِنَ الْمُسْرِفِينَ
Min Fir`awnaInnahu Kāna `Ālīāan Mina Al-Musrifīna
44:31  From Firaun. Indeed, he was arrogant among the transgressors.
31. Min Fir’awn; innahoo kaana ‘aaliyam minal musrifeen
32. وَلَقَدِ اخْتَرْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa Laqadi Akhtarnāhum `Alá `Ilmin `Alá Al-`Ālamīna
44:32  And certainly We chose them by knowledge over the worlds.
32. Wa laqadikh tarnaahum ‘alaa ‘ilmin ‘alal ‘aalameen
33. وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ مِنَ الْآيَاتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَاءٌ مُبِينٌ
Wa ‘Ātaynāhum Mina Al-‘Āyāti Fīhi Balā’un Mubīnun
44:33  And We gave them of the Signs that in it (was) a trial clear.
33. Wa aatainaahum minal aayaati maa feehi balaaa’um mubeen
34. إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ لَيَقُولُونَ
Inna Hā’uulāLayaqūlūna
44:34  Indeed, these surely, they say,
34. Inna haaa’ulaaa’i la yaqooloon
35. إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا مَوْتَتُنَا الْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُنْشَرِينَ
In Hiya Illā Mawtatunā Al-‘Ūlá Wa Mā Naĥnu Bimunsharīna
44:35  “Not it (is) but our death the first and not we (will be) raised again.
35. In hiya illaa mawtatunal oolaa wa maa nahnu bimun shareen
36. فَأْتُوا بِآبَائِنَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Fa’tū Bi’ābā’inā ‘In Kuntum Şādiqīna
44:36  Then bring our forefathers, if you are truthful.”
36. Fa’too bi aabaaa’inaaa inkuntum saadiqeen
37. أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مُجْرِمِينَ
‘Ahum Khayrun Am Qawmu Tubba`in Wa Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Ahlaknāhum Innahum Kānū Mujrimīna
44:37  Are they better or (the) people (of) Tubba and those from before them? We destroyed them, indeed, they were criminals.
37. Ahum khayrun am qawmu Tubba’inw wallazeena min qablihim; ahlaknaahum innahum kaanoo mujrimeen
38. وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِبِينَ
Wa Mā Khalaqnā As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđa Wa Mā Baynahumā Lā`ibīna
44:38  And not We created the heavens and the earth and whatever (is) between them (in) play.
38. Wa maa khalaqnas samaawaati wal arda wa maa baina humaa laa’ibeen
39. مَا خَلَقْنَاهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
 Khalaqnāhumā Illā Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa LakinnaAktharahum Ya`lamūna
44:39  Not We created both of them but in [the] truth, but most of them (do) not know.
39. Maa khalaqnaahumaaa illaa bilhaqqi wa laakinna aksarahum laa ya’lamoon
40. إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ مِيقَاتُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Inna Yawma Al-Faşli Mīqātuhum ‘Ajma`īna
44:40  Indeed, (the) Day of Judgment (is) an appointed term for them all.
40. Inna yawmal fasli meeqaatuhum ajma’een
41. يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِي مَوْلًى عَنْ مَوْلًى شَيْئًا وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ
YawmaYughnī Mawláan `An Mawláan Shay’āan Wa Lā Hum Yunşarūna
44:41  (The) Day not will avail a relation for a relation anything and not they will be helped.
41. Yawma laa yughnee mawlan ‘am mawlan shai’anw wa laa hum yunsaroon
42. إِلَّا مَنْ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ
Illā Man Raĥima Al-Lahu ‘Innahu Huwa Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu
44:42  Except, (on) whom has mercy Allah. Indeed, He [He] (is) the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.
42. Illaa mar rahimal laah’ innahoo huwal ‘azeezur raheem
43. إِنَّ شَجَرَتَ الزَّقُّومِ
‘Inna Shajarata Az-Zaqqūmi
44:43  Indeed, (the) tree (of) Zaqqum
43. Inna shajarataz zaqqoom
44. طَعَامُ الْأَثِيمِ
Ţa`āmu Al-‘Athīmi
44:44  (Will be) food (of) the sinner(s).
44. Ta’aamul aseem
45. كَالْمُهْلِ يَغْلِي فِي الْبُطُونِ
Kālmuhli Yaghlī Fī Al-Buţūni
44:45  Like the murky oil, it will boil in the bellies,
45. Kalmuhli yaghlee filbutoon
46. كَغَلْيِ الْحَمِيمِ
Kaghalyi Al-Ĥamīmi
44:46  Like boiling (of) scalding water.
46. Kaghalyil hameem
47. خُذُوهُ فَاعْتِلُوهُ إِلَىٰ سَوَاءِ الْجَحِيمِ
Khudhūhu Fā`tilūhu ‘Ilá Sawā’i Al-Jaĥīmi
44:47  “Seize him and drag him into (the) midst (of) the Hellfire,
47. Khuzoohu fa’tiloohu ilaa sawaaa’il Jaheem
48. ثُمَّ صُبُّوا فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْحَمِيمِ
Thumma Şubbū Fawqa Ra’sihi Min `Adhābi Al-Ĥamīmi
44:48  Then pour over his head of (the) punishment (of) the scalding water.
48. Summa subboo fawqa ra’sihee min ‘azaabil hameem
49. ذُقْ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْكَرِيمُ
Dhuq Innaka Anta Al-`Azīzu Al-Karīmu
44:49  Taste! Indeed, you [you] (were) the mighty, the noble.
49. Zuq innaka antal ‘azeezul kareem
50. إِنَّ هَٰذَا مَا كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تَمْتَرُونَ
Inna Hādhā Kuntum Bihi Tamtarūna
44:50  Indeed, this (is) what you used to [about it] doubt.”
50. Inna haazaa maa kuntum bihee tamtaroon
51. إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍ
Inna Al-Muttaqīna Maqāmin Amīnin
44:51  Indeed, the righteous (will be) in a place secure,
51. Innal muttaqeena fee maqaamin ameen
52. فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
Jannātin Wa `Uyūnin
44:52  In gardens and springs,
52. Fee jannaatinw wa ‘uyoon
53. يَلْبَسُونَ مِنْ سُنْدُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُتَقَابِلِينَ
Yalbasūna Min Sundusin Wa ‘Istabraqin Mutaqābilīna
44:53  Wearing garments of fine silk and heavy silk, facing each other.
53. Yalbasoona min sundusinw wa istabraqim mutaqaabileen
54. كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجْنَاهُمْ بِحُورٍ عِينٍ
Kadhālika Wa Zawwajnāhum Biĥūrin `Īnin
44:54  Thus. And We will marry them to fair ones (with) large eyes.
54. Kazaalika wa zawwajnaahum bihoorin ‘een
55. يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ آمِنِينَ
Yad`ūna Fīhā Bikulli Fākihatin Āminīna
44:55  They will call therein for every (kind) (of) fruit, secure.
55. Yad’oona feehaa bikulli faakihatin aamineen
56. لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا الْمَوْتَ إِلَّا الْمَوْتَةَ الْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَوَقَاهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Yadhūqūna Fīhā Al-Mawta Illā Al-Mawtata Al-‘Ūlá Wa Waqāhum `Adhāba Al-Jaĥīmi
44:56  Not they will taste therein the death except the death the first. And He will protect them (from the) punishment (of) the Hellfire,
56. Laa yazooqoona feehal mawtaa illal mawtatal oolaa wa waqaahum ‘azaabal jaheem
57. فَضْلًا مِنْ رَبِّكَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Fađlāan Min Rabbika Dhālika Huwa Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu
44:57  A Bounty from your Lord. That it (will be) the success the great.
57. Fadlam mir rabbik; zaalika huwal fawzul ‘azeem
58. فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
Fa’innamā Yassarnāhu Bilisānika La`allahum Yatadhakkarūna
44:58  Indeed, We have made it easy in your tongue so that they may take heed.
58. Fa innamaa yassarnaahu bilisaanika la’allahum yatazakkaroon
59. فَارْتَقِبْ إِنَّهُمْ مُرْتَقِبُونَ
Fārtaqib Innahum Murtaqibūna
44:59  So watch; indeed, they (too are) watching.
59. Fartaqib innahum murta qiboon
