46:1  Ha Meem.
1. Haa-Meeeem
2. تَنْزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ
Tanzīlu Al-Kitābi Mina Al-Lahi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥakīmi
46:2  (The) revelation (of) the Book (is) from Allah the All-Mighty, the All-Wise
2. Tanzeelul Kitaabi minal laahil-‘Azeezil Hakeem
3. مَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَمَّا أُنْذِرُوا مُعْرِضُونَ
Mā Khalaqnā As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđa Wa Mā Baynahumā Illā Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa ‘Ajalin Musammáan Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū `Ammā Undhirū Mu`riđūna
46:3  Not We created the heavens and the earth and what (is) between both of them except in truth and (for) a term appointed. But those who disbelieve, from what they are warned, (are) turning away.
3. Maa khalaqnas samaawaati wal arda wa maa bainahumaaa illaa bilhaqqi wa ajalim musammaa; wallazeena kafaroo ‘ammaaa unziroo mu’ridoon
4. قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ مَا تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ ۖ ائْتُونِي بِكِتَابٍ مِنْ قَبْلِ هَٰذَا أَوْ أَثَارَةٍ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Qul ‘Ara’aytum  Tad`ūna Min Dūni Al-Lahi ‘Arūnī Mādhā Khalaqū Mina Al-‘Arđi Am Lahum Shirkun Fī As-Samāwāti Ai’tūnī Bikitābin Min Qabli Hādhā Aw Athāratin Min `Ilmin In Kuntum Şādiqīna
46:4  Say, “Do you see what you call from besides Allah? Show me what they have created of the earth or for them (is) any share in the heavens? Bring me a book from before this or traces of knowledge, if you are truthful.”
4. Qul ara’aytum maa tad’oona min doonil laahi aroonee maazaa khalaqoo minal ardi am lahum shirkun fis samaawaati eetoonee bi kitaabim min qabli haazaaa aw asaaratim min ‘ilmin in kuntum saadiqeen
5. وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ يَدْعُو مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَنْ لَا يَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهُمْ عَنْ دُعَائِهِمْ غَافِلُونَ
Wa ManAđallu Mimman Yad`ū Min Dūni Al-Lahi Man Lā Yastajību Lahu Ilá Yawmi Al-Qiyāmati Wa Hum `An Du`ā’ihim Ghāfilūna
46:5  And who (is) more astray than (he) who calls from besides Allah, who not will respond to him until (the) Day (of) Resurrection, and they of their calls (are) unaware.
5. Wa man adallu mimmany yad’oo min doonil laahi mallaa yastajeebu lahooo ilaa Yawmil Qiyaamati wa hum’an du’aaa’ihim ghaafiloon
6. وَإِذَا حُشِرَ النَّاسُ كَانُوا لَهُمْ أَعْدَاءً وَكَانُوا بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ كَافِرِينَ
Wa ‘Idhā Ĥushira An-Nāsu Kānū Lahum ‘A`dā’an Wa Kānū Bi`ibādatihim Kāfirīna
46:6  And when are gathered the people, they will be for them enemies and they will be of their worship deniers.
6. Wa izaa hushiran naasu kaanoo lahum a’daaa’anw wa kaanoo bi’ibaadatihim kaafireen
7. وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ
Wa ‘Idhā Tutlá `Alayhim Āyātunā Bayyinātin Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lilĥaqqi Lammā Jā’ahum Hādhā Siĥrun Mubīnun
46:7  And when are recited to them Our Verses clear, say those who disbelieve of the truth when it comes to them,This (is) a magic clear.”
7. Wa izaa tutlaa ‘alaihim Aayaatunaa baiyinaatin qaalal lazeena kafaroo lilhaqqi lammaa jaaa’ahum haazaa sihrum mubeen
8. أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ ۖ قُلْ إِنِ افْتَرَيْتُهُ فَلَا تَمْلِكُونَ لِي مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۖ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ ۖ كَفَىٰ بِهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
Am Yaqūlūna Aftarāhu Qul Ini Aftaraytuhu Falā Tamlikūna Mina Al-Lahi Shay’āan Huwa ‘A`lamu Bimā Tufīđūna Fīhi Kafá Bihi Shahīdāan Baynī Wa Baynakum Wa Huwa Al-Ghafūru Ar-Raĥīmu
46:8  Or they say,He has invented it.Say, “If I have invented it then not you have power for me against Allah anything. He knows best of what you utter concerning it. Sufficient (is) He (as) a Witness between me and between you, and He (is) the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
8. Am yaqooloonaf taraahu qul inif taraituhoo falaa tamlikoona lee minal laahi shai’an Huwa a’lamu bimaa tufeedoona feehi kafaa bihee shaheedam bainee wa bainakum wa Huwal Ghafoorur Raheem
9. قُلْ مَا كُنْتُ بِدْعًا مِنَ الرُّسُلِ وَمَا أَدْرِي مَا يُفْعَلُ بِي وَلَا بِكُمْ ۖ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوحَىٰ إِلَيَّ وَمَا أَنَا إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ
Qul Kuntu Bid`āan Mina Ar-Rusuli Wa Mā ‘Adrī Yuf`alu Wa Lā Bikum ‘In ‘Attabi`uIllā Yūĥá Ilayya Wa Mā Anā Illā Nadhīrun Mubīnun
46:9  Say, “Not I am a new (one) among the Messengers and not I know what will be done with me and not with you. Not I follow but what is revealed to me and not I am but a warner clear.”
9. Qul maa kuntu bid’am minal Rusuli wa maaa adreee ma yuf’alu bee wa laa bikum in attabi’u illaa maa yoohaaa ilaiya wa maaa ana illaa nazeerum mubeen
10. قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ وَكَفَرْتُمْ بِهِ وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَىٰ مِثْلِهِ فَآمَنَ وَاسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Qul ‘Ara’aytumIn Kāna Min `Indi Al-Lahi Wa Kafartum Bihi Wa Shahida Shāhidun Min Banī ‘Isrā’īla `Alá Mithlihi Fa’āmana Wa AstakbartumInna Al-Laha Yahdī Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna
46:10  Say, “Do you see if it is from that (of) Allah and you disbelieve in it, and testifies a witness from (the) Children (of) Israel to (the) like thereof, then he believed while you are arrogant?Indeed, Allah (does) not guide the people the wrongdoers.
10. Qul ara’aytum in kaana min ‘indil laahi wa kafartum bihee wa shahida shaahidum mim Banee Israaa’eela ‘alaa mislihee fa aamana wastak bartum innal laaha laa yahdil qawmaz zaalimeen (section 1)
11. وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَوْ كَانَ خَيْرًا مَا سَبَقُونَا إِلَيْهِ ۚ وَإِذْ لَمْ يَهْتَدُوا بِهِ فَسَيَقُولُونَ هَٰذَا إِفْكٌ قَدِيمٌ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lilladhīna Āmanū Law Kāna Khayrāan  Sabaqūnā Ilayhi Wa ‘Idh Lam Yahtadū Bihi Fasayaqūlūna Hādhā Ifkun Qadīmun
46:11  And say those who disbelieve of those who believe, “If it had been good, not they (would) have preceded us to it.And when not they (are) guided by it, they say,This (is) a lie ancient.”
11. Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo lillazeena aamanoo law kaana khairam maa sabaqoonaaa ilyh; wa iz lam yahtadoo bihee fasa yaqooloona haazaaa ifkun qadeem
12. وَمِنْ قَبْلِهِ كِتَابُ مُوسَىٰ إِمَامًا وَرَحْمَةً ۚ وَهَٰذَا كِتَابٌ مُصَدِّقٌ لِسَانًا عَرَبِيًّا لِيُنْذِرَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Wa Min Qablihi Kitābu Mūsá Imāmāan Wa Raĥmatan Wa Hadhā Kitābun Muşaddiqun Lisānāan `Arabīyāan Liyundhira Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Wa Bushrá Lilmuĥsinīna
46:12  And from before it (was the) Scripture (of) Musa (as) a guide and a mercy. And this (is) a Book confirming, (in) language Arabic to warn those who do wrong and glad tidings for the good-doers.
12. Wa min qablihee kitaabu Moosaaa imaamanw-wa rahmah; wa haazaa Kitaabum musad diqul lisaanan ‘Arabiyyal liyunziral lazeena zalamoo wa bushraa lilmuhsineen
13. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
‘Inna Al-Ladhīna Qālū Rabbunā Al-Lahu Thumma Astaqāmū Falā Khawfun `Alayhim Wa Lā Hum Yaĥzanūna
46:13  Indeed, those who say, “Our Lord (is) Allah,” then remain firm, then no fear on them and not they will grieve.
13. Innal lazeena qaaloo Rabbunal laahu summas taqaamoo falaa khawfun ‘alaihim wa laahum yahzanoon
14. أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
‘Ūlā’ikaAşĥābu Al-Jannati Khālidīna Fīhā Jazā’an Bimā Kānū Ya`malūna
46:14  Those (are the) companions (of) Paradise abiding forever therein, a reward for what they used to do.
14. Ulaaa’ika Ashabul Jannati khaalideena feehaa jazaaa’am bimaa kaano ya’maloon
15. وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ إِحْسَانًا ۖ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ كُرْهًا وَوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهًا ۖ وَحَمْلُهُ وَفِصَالُهُ ثَلَاثُونَ شَهْرًا ۚ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَبَلَغَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً قَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي ۖ إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
Wa Waşşaynā Al-‘Insāna Biwālidayhi Iĥsānāan Ĥamalat/huUmmuhu Kurhāan Wa Wađa`at/hu Kurhāan Wa Ĥamluhu Wa Fişāluhu Thalāthūna Shahrāan Ĥattá Idhā Balagha Ashuddahu Wa Balagha ‘Arba`īna Sanatan Qāla Rabbi ‘Awzi`nī An Ashkura Ni`mataka Allatī An`amta `Alayya Wa `Alá Wa A-Dayya Wa ‘An ‘A`mala Şāliĥāan Tarđāhu Wa ‘Aşliĥ Fī Dhurrīyatī Innī Tubtu Ilayka Wa ‘Innī Mina Al-Muslimīna
46:15  And We have enjoined (on) man to his parents kindness. Carried him his mother (with) hardship and gave birth to him (with) hardship. And (the) bearing of him and (the) weaning of him (is) thirty month(s) until, when he reaches his maturity and reaches forty year(s), he says,My Lord, grant me (the) power that I may be grateful (for) Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and that I do righteous (deeds) which please You, and make righteous for me among my offspring, indeed, I turn to You and indeed, I am of those who submit.”
15. Wa wassainal insaana biwaalidaihi ihsaana; hamalat hu ummuhoo kurhanw-wa wada’at hu kurhanw wa hamluhoo wa fisaaluhoo salaasoona shahraa; hattaaa izaa balagha ashuddahoo wa balagha arba’eena sanatan qaala Rabbi awzi’ neee an ashkura ni’matakal lateee an’amta ‘alaiya wa ‘alaa waalidaiya wa an a’mala saalihan tardaahu wa aslih lee fee zurriyyatee; innee tubtu ilaika wa innee minal muslimeen
16. أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ نَتَقَبَّلُ عَنْهُمْ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا وَنَتَجَاوَزُ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ فِي أَصْحَابِ الْجَنَّةِ ۖ وَعْدَ الصِّدْقِ الَّذِي كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ
‘Ūlā’ika Al-Ladhīna Nataqabbalu `Anhum Aĥsana `Amilū Wa Natajāwazu `An Sayyi’ātihim  ‘Aşĥābi Al-Jannati Wa`da Aş-Şidqi Al-Ladhī Kānū Yū`adūna
46:16  Those (are) the ones We will accept from them (the) best (of) what they did and We will overlook [from] their evil deeds, among (the) companions (of) Paradise. A promise true which they were promised.
16. Ulaaa’ikal lazeena nata qabbalu ‘anhum ahsana maa ‘amiloo wa natajaawazu ‘an saiyiaatihim feee Ashaabil jannati Wa’das sidqil lazee kaanoo yoo’adoon
17. وَالَّذِي قَالَ لِوَالِدَيْهِ أُفٍّ لَكُمَا أَتَعِدَانِنِي أَنْ أُخْرَجَ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ الْقُرُونُ مِنْ قَبْلِي وَهُمَا يَسْتَغِيثَانِ اللَّهَ وَيْلَكَ آمِنْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَيَقُولُ مَا هَٰذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
Wa Al-Ladhī Qāla Liwālidayhi Uffin Lakumā ‘Ata`idāninī An Ukhraja Wa Qad Khalati Al-Qurūnu Min Qablī Wa Humā Yastaghīthāni Al-Laha Waylaka Āmin Inna Wa`da Al-Lahi Ĥaqqun Fayaqūlu Hādhā Illā Asāţīru Al-‘Awwalīna
46:17  But the one who says to his parents,Uff to both of you! Do you promise me that I will be brought forth, and have already passed away the generations from before me?” And they both seek help (of) Allah. “Woe to you! Believe! Indeed, (the) Promise (of) Allah (is) true.” But he says,Not (is) this but (the) stories (of) the former (people).”
17. Wallazee qaala liwaali daihi uffil lakumaaa ata’idanineee an ukhraja wa qad khalatil quroonu min qablee wa humaa yastagheesaanil laaha wailaka aamin inna wa’dal laahi haqq, fa yaqoolu maa haazaaa illaaa asaateerul awwaleen
18. أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا خَاسِرِينَ
‘Ūlā’ika Al-Ladhīna Ĥaqqa `Alayhimu Al-Qawlu Fī Umamin Qad Khalat Min Qablihim Mina Al-Jinni Wa Al-‘InsiInnahum Kānū Khāsirīna
46:18  Those – (are) the ones (has) proved true against them the word among nations (that) had already passed away from before them of (the) jinn and the men. Indeed, they are (the) losers.
18. Ulaaa’ikal lazeena haqqa ‘alaihimul qawlu feee umamin qad khalat min qablihim minal jinni wal insi innahum kaanoo khaasireen
19. وَلِكُلٍّ دَرَجَاتٌ مِمَّا عَمِلُوا ۖ وَلِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
Wa Likullin Darajātun Mimmā `Amilū Wa Liyuwaffiyahum ‘A`mālahum Wa Hum Yužlamūna
46:19  And for all (are) degrees for what they did, and that He may fully compensate them (for) their deeds, and they not will be wronged.
19. Wa likullin darajaatum mimmaa ‘amiloo wa liyuwaf fiyahum a’maalahum wa hum laa yuzlamoon
20. وَيَوْمَ يُعْرَضُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَلَى النَّارِ أَذْهَبْتُمْ طَيِّبَاتِكُمْ فِي حَيَاتِكُمُ الدُّنْيَا وَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِهَا فَالْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُونِ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَفْسُقُونَ
Wa Yawma Yu`rađu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū `Alá An-Nāri ‘Adh/habtum Ţayyibātikum Ĥayātikumu Ad-Dunyā Wa Astamta`tum Bihā Fālyawma Tujzawna `Adhāba Al-Hūni Bimā Kuntum Tastakbirūna Fī Al-‘Arđi Bighayri Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Bimā Kuntum Tafsuqūna
46:20  And (the) Day will be exposed those who disbelieved to the Fire.You exhausted your good things in your life (of) the world, and you took your pleasures therein. So today you will be recompensed (with) a punishment humiliating because you were arrogant in the earth without [the] right and because you were defiantly disobedient.”
20. Wa Yawma yu’radul lazeena kafaroo ‘alan Naari azhabtum taiyibaatikum fee hayaatikumud dunyaa wastam ta’tum bihaa fal Yawma tujzawna ‘azaabal hooni bimaa kuntum tastakbiroona fil ardi bighairil haqqi wa bimaa kuntum tafsuqoon (section 2)
21. وَاذْكُرْ أَخَا عَادٍ إِذْ أَنْذَرَ قَوْمَهُ بِالْأَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ النُّذُرُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
Wa Adhkur Akhā `Ādin Idh Andhara Qawmahu Bil-‘Aĥqāfi Wa Qad Khalati An-Nudhuru Min Bayni Yadayhi Wa Min Khalfihi Allā Ta`budū ‘Illā Al-Laha ‘Innī Akhāfu `Alaykum `Adhāba Yawmin `Ažīmin
46:21  And mention (the) brother (of) Aad, when he warned his people in the and had already passed away [the] warners from between (his) hands and from after him, “That not you worship except Allah. Indeed, I [I] fear for you a punishment (of) a Day Great.”
21. Wazkur akhaa ‘Aad, iz anzara qawmahoo bil Ahqaafi wa qad khalatin nuzuru mim baini yadaihi wa min khalfiheee allaa ta’budooo illal laaha inneee akhaafu ‘alaikum ‘azaaba Yawmin ‘azeem
22. قَالُوا أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَأْفِكَنَا عَنْ آلِهَتِنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
Qālū ‘Aji’tanā Lita’fikanā `An Ālihatinā Fa’tinā Bimā Ta`idunā ‘In Kunta Mina Aş-Şādiqīna
46:22  They said, Have you come to us to turn us away from our gods? Then bring us what you threaten us, if you are of the truthful.”
22. Qaaloo aji’tanaa li taa fikanaa ‘an aalihatinaa fa’tinaa bimaa ta’idunaaa in kunta minas saadiqeen
23. قَالَ إِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَأُبَلِّغُكُمْ مَا أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ وَلَٰكِنِّي أَرَاكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْهَلُونَ
Qāla Innamā Al-`Ilmu `Inda Al-Lahi Wa ‘Uballighukum Mā Ursiltu Bihi Wa Lakinnī Arākum Qawmāan Tajhalūna
46:23  He said,Only the knowledge (is) with Allah and I convey to you what I am sent with it, but I see you a people ignorant.”
23. Qaala innamal ‘ilmu indal laahi wa uballighukum maaa ursiltu bihee wa laakinneee araakum qawman tajhaloon
24. فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ عَارِضًا مُسْتَقْبِلَ أَوْدِيَتِهِمْ قَالُوا هَٰذَا عَارِضٌ مُمْطِرُنَا ۚ بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْتَعْجَلْتُمْ بِهِ ۖ رِيحٌ فِيهَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Falammā Ra’awhu `Āriđāan Mustaqbila Awdiyatihim Qālū Hādhā `Āriđun Mumţirunā Bal Huwa Mā Asta`jaltum Bihi Rīĥun Fīhā `Adhābun Alīmun
46:24  Then when they saw it (as) a cloud approaching their valleys, they said,This (is) a cloud bringing us rain.” Nay, it (is) what you were asking to hasten it a wind in it (is) a punishment painful,
24. Falammaa ra awhu ‘aaridam mustaqbila awdiyatihim qaaloo haazaa ‘aaridum mumtirunaa; bal huwa masta’jaltum bihee reehun feehaa ‘azaabun aleem
25. تُدَمِّرُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ بِأَمْرِ رَبِّهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا لَا يُرَىٰ إِلَّا مَسَاكِنُهُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
Tudammiru Kulla Shay’in Bi’amri Rabbihā Fa’aşbaĥū Yurá Illā Masākinuhum Kadhālika Najzī Al-Qawma Al-Mujrimīna
46:25  Destroying every thing by (the) command (of) its Lord. Then they became (such), not is seen except their dwellings. Thus We recompense the people [the] criminals.
25. Tudammiru kulla shai’im bi-amri Rabbihaa fa asbahoo laa yuraaa illaa masaakinuhum; kazaalika najzil qawmal mujrimeen
26. وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِيمَا إِنْ مَكَّنَّاكُمْ فِيهِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ سَمْعًا وَأَبْصَارًا وَأَفْئِدَةً فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَلَا أَبْصَارُهُمْ وَلَا أَفْئِدَتُهُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِذْ كَانُوا يَجْحَدُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَحَاقَ بِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
Wa Laqad Makkannāhum Fīmā In Makkannākum Fīhi Wa Ja`alnā Lahum Sam`āan Wa ‘Abşārāan Wa ‘Af’idatan Famā Aghná `Anhum Sam`uhum Wa Lā ‘Abşāruhum Wa Lā ‘Af’idatuhum Min Shay’in Idh Kānū Yajĥadūna Bi’āyāti Al-Lahi Wa Ĥāqa Bihim  Kānū Bihi Yastahzi’ūn
46:26  And certainly, We had established them in what not We have established you in it, and We made for them hearing and vision and hearts. But not availed them their hearing and not their vision and not their hearts any thing, when they were rejecting (the) Signs (of) Allah and enveloped them what they used to [at it] ridicule.
26. Wa laqad makkannaahum feemaaa im makkannaakum feehi waj’alnaa lahum sam’anw wa absaaranw wa af’idatan famaaa aghnaa ‘anhum sam’uhum wa laaa absaaruhum wa laaa af’idatuhum min shai’in iz kaanoo yajhadoona bi Aayaatil laahi wa haaqa bihim maa kaanoo bihee yastahzi’oon (section 3)
27. وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُمْ مِنَ الْقُرَىٰ وَصَرَّفْنَا الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Wa Laqad ‘Ahlaknā Ĥawlakum Mina Al-Qurá Wa Şarrafnā Al-‘Āyāti La`allahum Yarji`ūna
46:27  And certainly We destroyed what surrounds you of the towns, and We have diversified the Signs, that they may return.
27. Wa laqad ahlaknaa ma hawlakum minal quraa wa sarrafnal Aayaati la’allahum yarji’oon
28. فَلَوْلَا نَصَرَهُمُ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ قُرْبَانًا آلِهَةً ۖ بَلْ ضَلُّوا عَنْهُمْ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ إِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
Falawlā Naşarahumu Al-Ladhīna Attakhadhū Min Dūni Al-Lahi Qurbānāan Ālihatan Bal Đallū `Anhum Wa DhalikaIfkuhum Wa Mā Kānū Yaftarūna
46:28  Then why (did) not help them those whom they had taken from besides Allah sacrifice (to their) gods? Nay, they were lost from them. And that (was) their falsehood and what they were inventing.
28. Falaw laa nasarahumul lazeenat takhazoo min doonil laahi qurbaanan aalihatam bal dalloo ‘anhum’ wa zaalika ifkuhum wa maa kaanoo yaftaroon
29. وَإِذْ صَرَفْنَا إِلَيْكَ نَفَرًا مِنَ الْجِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقُرْآنَ فَلَمَّا حَضَرُوهُ قَالُوا أَنْصِتُوا ۖ فَلَمَّا قُضِيَ وَلَّوْا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ مُنْذِرِينَ
Wa ‘Idh Şarafnā Ilayka Nafarāan Mina Al-Jinni Yastami`ūna Al-Qur’āna Falammā Ĥađarūhu Qālū Anşitū Falammā Quđiya Wa LlawIlá Qawmihim Mundhirīna
46:29  And when We directed to you a party of the jinn, listening (to) the Quran. And when they attended it, they said, “Listen quietly.” And when it was concluded, they turned back to their people (as) warners.
29. Wa iz sarafinaaa ilaika nafaram minal jinni yastami’oonal Quraana falammaa hadaroohu qaalooo ansitoo falammaa qudiya wallaw ilaa qawmihim munzireen
30. قَالُوا يَا قَوْمَنَا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا كِتَابًا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مُوسَىٰ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ وَإِلَىٰ طَرِيقٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
Qālū Yā Qawmanā ‘Innā Sami`nā Kitābāan Unzila Min Ba`di Mūsá Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Yahdī Ilá Al-Ĥaqqi Wa ‘Ilá Ţarīqin Mustaqīmin
46:30  They said, “O our people! Indeed, we [we] have heard a Book revealed from after Musa confirming what between (his) hands guiding to the truth and to a Path Straight.
30. Qaaloo yaa qawmanaaa innaa sami’naa Kitaaban unzila mim ba’di Moosa musaddiqal limaa baina yadihi yahdeee ilal haqqi wa ilaa Tareeqim Mustaqeem
31. يَا قَوْمَنَا أَجِيبُوا دَاعِيَ اللَّهِ وَآمِنُوا بِهِ يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ مِنْ ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُجِرْكُمْ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
Yā Qawmanā ‘Ajībū Dā`iya Al-Lahi Wa ‘Āminū Bihi Yaghfir Lakum Min Dhunūbikum Wa Yujirkum Min `Adhābin Alīmin
46:31  O our people! Respond (to the) caller (of) Allah and believe in him. He will forgive for you of your sins and will protect you from a punishment painful.
31. Yaa qawmanaaa ajeeboo daa’iyal laahi wa aaminoo bihee yaghfir lakum min zunoobikum wa yujirkum min ‘azaabin aleem
32. وَمَنْ لَا يُجِبْ دَاعِيَ اللَّهِ فَلَيْسَ بِمُعْجِزٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ مِنْ دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءُ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
Wa Man Lā Yujib Dā`iya Al-Lahi Falaysa Bimu`jizin Fī Al-‘Arđi Wa Laysa Lahu Min Dūnihi ‘Awliyā’u ‘Ūlā’ika Đalālin Mubīnin
46:32  And whoever (does) not respond (to the) caller (of) Allah, then not he can escape in the earth, and not for him from besides Him protectors. Those (are) in error clear.”
32. Wa mal laa yujib daa’iyal laahi falaisa bimu’jizin fil ardi wa laisa lahoo min dooniheee awliyaaa’; ulaaa ika fee dalaalim mubeen
33. أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَلَمْ يَعْيَ بِخَلْقِهِنَّ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَىٰ أَنْ يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَىٰ ۚ بَلَىٰ إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
‘Awalam Yaraw Anna Al-Laha Al-Ladhī Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđa Wa Lam Ya`ya Bikhalqihinna Biqādirin `Alá An Yuĥyiya Al-Mawtá Balá Innahu `Alá Kulli Shay’in Qadīrun
46:33  Do not they see that Allah, (is) the One Who created the heavens and the earth and (was) not tired by their creation, (is) able upon that to give life (to) the dead? Yes, indeed He (is) on every thing All-Powerful.
33. Awalam yaraw annal laahal lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda wa lam ya’ya bikhal qihinna biqaadirin ‘alaaa aiyuhyiyal mawtaa; balaaa innahoo ‘alaa kulli shai’in Qadeer
34. وَيَوْمَ يُعْرَضُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَلَى النَّارِ أَلَيْسَ هَٰذَا بِالْحَقِّ ۖ قَالُوا بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّنَا ۚ قَالَ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
Wa Yawma Yu`rađu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū `Alá An-Nāri Alaysa Hādhā Bil-Ĥaqqi Qālū Balá Wa Rabbinā Qāla Fadhūqū Al-`Adhāba Bimā Kuntum Takfurūna
46:34  And (the) Day, are exposed those who disbelieved to the Fire, Is not this the truth?They will say,Yes by our Lord. He will say, “Then taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve.”
34. Wa Yawma yu’radul lazeena kafaroo ‘alan naari alaisa haaza bil haqq; qaaloo balaa wa Rabbinaa; qaala fazooqul ‘azaaba bimaa kuntum takfuroon
35. فَاصْبِرْ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُولُو الْعَزْمِ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ وَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلْ لَهُمْ ۚ كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ مَا يُوعَدُونَ لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِنْ نَهَارٍ ۚ بَلَاغٌ ۚ فَهَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
Fāşbir Kamā Şabara Ūlū Al-`Azmi Mina Ar-Rusuli Wa Lā Tasta`jil Lahum Ka’annahum Yawma Yarawna Yū`adūna Lam Yalbathū Illā Sā`atan Min Nahārin Balāghun Fahal Yuhlaku Illā Al-Qawmu Al-Fāsiqūna
46:35  So be patient, as had patience those of determination of the Messengers, and (do) not seek to hasten for them. As if they had, (the) Day they see what they were promised, not remained except an hour of a day. A notification. But will (any) be destroyed except the people the defiantly disobedient?
35. Fasbir kamaa sabara ulul ‘azmi minar Rusuli wa laa tasta’jil lahum; ka annahum Yawma yarawna maa yoo’adoona lam yalbasooo illaa saa’atam min nahaar; balaagh; fahal yuhlaku illal qawmul faasiqoon (section 4)
