1. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُقَدِّمُوا بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
Yā ‘Ayyuhā Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Tuqaddimū Bayna Yadayi Al-Lahi Wa Rasūlihi Wa Attaqū Al-Laha ‘Inna Al-Laha Samī`un `Alīmun
49:1  O you who believe! (Do)not put (yourselves) forward(from) between his hands Allah and His Messenger and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah(is) All-Hearer, All-Knower.
1. Yaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo la tuqaddimoo baina yada yil laahi wa Rasoolihee wattaqul laah; innal laaha samee’un ‘Aleem
2. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ النَّبِيِّ وَلَا تَجْهَرُوا لَهُ بِالْقَوْلِ كَجَهْرِ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَنْ تَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالُكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ
Yā ‘Ayyuhā Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Tarfa`ū ‘Aşwātakum Fawqa Şawti An-Nabīyi Wa Lā Tajharū Lahu Bil-Qawli Kajahri Ba`đikum Liba`đinAn Taĥbaţa ‘A`mālukum Wa ‘Antum Tash`urūna
49:2  O you who believe! (Do) not raise your voices above (the) voice (of) the Prophet, and (do) not be loud to him in speech like (the) loudness (of) some of you to others, lest become worthless your deeds while you (do) not perceive.
2. Yaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa tarfa’ooo aswaatakum fawqa sawtin Nabiyi wa laa tajharoo lahoo bilqawli kajahri ba’dikum liba ‘din an tahbata a ‘maalukum wa antum laa tash’uroon
3. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَغُضُّونَ أَصْوَاتَهُمْ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ امْتَحَنَ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ ۚ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ
Inna Al-Ladhīna Yaghuđđūna Aşwātahum `Inda Rasūli Al-Lahi Ūlā’ika Al-Ladhīna Amtaĥana Al-Lahu Qulūbahum Lilttaqwá Lahum Maghfiratun Wa ‘Ajrun `Ažīmun
49:3  Indeed, those who lower their voices (in) presence (of the) Messenger (of) Allah those, (are) the ones has tested Allah their hearts for righteousness. For them (is) forgiveness and a reward great.
3. Innal lazeena yaghud doona aswaatahum ‘inda Rasoolil laahi ulaaa’ikal lazeenam tah anal laahu quloobahum littaqwaa; lahum maghfiratunw wa’ajrun ‘azeem
4. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُنَادُونَكَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحُجُرَاتِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
‘Inna Al-Ladhīna Yunādūnaka Min Warā’i Al-ĤujurātiAktharuhum Ya`qilūna
49:4  Indeed, those who call you from behind the private chambers, most of them (do) not understand.
4. Innal lazeena yunaadoo naka minw waraaa’il hujuraati aksaruhum laa ya’qiloon
5. وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا حَتَّىٰ تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
Wa LawAnnahum Şabarū Ĥattá Takhruja Ilayhim Lakāna Khayrāan Lahum Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
49:5  And if they had been patient until you came out to them certainly it would be better for them. And Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
5. Wa law annahum sabaroo hatta takhruja ilaihim lakaana khairal lahum; wallaahu Ghafoorur Raheem
6. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ جَاءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوا أَنْ تُصِيبُوا قَوْمًا بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ
Yā ‘Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna Āmanū In Jā’akum Fāsiqun Binaba’iin Fatabayyanū An Tuşībū Qawmāan Bijahālatin Fatuşbiĥū `Alá Fa`altum Nādimīna
49:6  O you who believe! If comes to you a wicked person with information, investigate, lest you harm a people in ignorance, then you become, over what you have done, regretful.
6. Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo in jaaa’akum faasiqum binaba in fatabaiyanooo an tuseeboo qawmam bijahalatin fatusbihoo ‘alaa maa fa’altum naadimeen
7. وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ فِيكُمْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ۚ لَوْ يُطِيعُكُمْ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ لَعَنِتُّمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْإِيمَانَ وَزَيَّنَهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الرَّاشِدُونَ
Wa A`lamū ‘Anna Fīkum Rasūla Al-Lahi Law Yuţī`ukum Kathīrin Mina Al-‘Amri La`anittum Wa Lakinna Al-Laha Ĥabbaba Ilaykumu Al-‘Īmāna Wa Zayyanahu Qulūbikum Wa Karraha ‘Ilaykumu Al-Kufra Wa Al-Fusūqa Wa Al-`Işyāna ‘Ūlā’ika Humu Ar-Rāshidūna
49:7  And know that among you (is the) Messenger (of) Allah. If he were to obey you in much of the matter, surely you would be in difficulty, but Allah has endeared to you the Faith and has made it pleasing in your hearts and has made hateful to you disbelief and defiance and disobedience. Those (are) they the guided ones.
7. Wa’lamooo anna feekum Rasoolal laah; law yutee’ukum fee kaseerim minal amrila’anittum wa laakinnal laaha habbaba ilaikumul eemaana wa zaiyanahoo fee quloobikum wa karraha ilaikumul kufra walfusooqa wal’isyaan; ulaaaika humur raashidoon
8. فَضْلًا مِنَ اللَّهِ وَنِعْمَةً ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
Fađlāan Mina Al-Lahi Wa Ni`matan Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Ĥakīmun
49:8  A Bounty from Allah and favor. And Allah (is) All-Knower, All-Wise.
8. Fadlam minal laahi wa ni’mah; wallaahu ‘Aleemun Hakeem
9. وَإِنْ طَائِفَتَانِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اقْتَتَلُوا فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ فَإِنْ بَغَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَىٰ فَقَاتِلُوا الَّتِي تَبْغِي حَتَّىٰ تَفِيءَ إِلَىٰ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَإِنْ فَاءَتْ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا بِالْعَدْلِ وَأَقْسِطُوا ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ
Wa ‘In Ţā’ifatāni Mina Al-Mu’uminīna Aqtatalū Fa’aşliĥū Baynahumā Fa’in Baghat Iĥdāhumā `Alá Al-‘Ukhrá Faqātilū Allatī Tabghī Ĥattá Tafī’a Ilá Amri Al-Lahi Fa’in Fā’at Fa’aşliĥū Baynahumā Bil-`Adli Wa ‘Aqsiţū Inna Al-Laha Yuĥibbu Al-Muqsiţīna
49:9  And if two parties among the believers fight, then make peace between both of them. But if oppresses one of them on the other, then fight one which oppresses until it returns to (the) command (of) Allah. Then if it returns, then make peace between them with justice, and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.
9. Wa in taaa’ifataani minal mu’mineena naqtataloo fa aslihoo bainahumaa; fa-im baghat ihdaahumaa ‘alal ukhraa faqaatilul latee tabghee hattaa tafeee’a ilaaa amril laah; fa-in faaa’at fa aslihoo bainahumaa bil’adli wa aqsitoo, innal laaha yuhibbul muqsiteen
10. إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
‘Innamā Al-Mu’uminūna Ikhwatun Fa’aşliĥū Bayna Akhawaykum Wa Attaqū Al-Laha La`allakum Turĥamūna
49:10  Only the believers (are) brothers, so make peace between your brothers, and fear Allah so that you may receive mercy.
10. Innamal mu’minoona ikhwatun fa aslihoo baina akhawaykum wattaqul laaha la’allakum turhamoon (section 1)
11. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا يَسْخَرْ قَوْمٌ مِنْ قَوْمٍ عَسَىٰ أَنْ يَكُونُوا خَيْرًا مِنْهُمْ وَلَا نِسَاءٌ مِنْ نِسَاءٍ عَسَىٰ أَنْ يَكُنَّ خَيْرًا مِنْهُنَّ ۖ وَلَا تَلْمِزُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ ۖ بِئْسَ الِاسْمُ الْفُسُوقُ بَعْدَ الْإِيمَانِ ۚ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَتُبْ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ
Yā ‘Ayyuhā Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Yaskhar Qawmun Min Qawmin `Asá ‘An Yakūnū Khayrāan Minhum Wa Lā Nisā’un Min Nisā’in `Asá An Yakunna Khayrāan Minhunna Wa Lā Talmizū Anfusakum Wa Lā Tanābazū Bil-‘Alqābi Bi’sa Al-Aismu Al-Fusūqu Ba`da Al-‘Īmāni Wa Man Lam Yatub Fa’ūlā’ika Humu Až-Žālimūna
49:11  O you who believe! (Let) not ridicule a people [of] (another) people, perhaps that they maybe better than them; and (let) not women [of] (other) women perhaps that they maybe better than them. And (do) not insult yourselves and (do) not call each other by nicknames. Wretched is the name (of) disobedience after the faith. And whoever (does) not repent, then those they (are) the wrongdoers.
11. Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa yaskhar qawmum min qawmin ‘asaaa anyyakoonoo khairam minhum wa laa nisaaa’um min nisaaa’in ‘Asaaa ay yakunna khairam minhunna wa laa talmizooo anfusakum wa laa tanaabazoo bil alqaab; bi’sal ismul fusooqu ba’dal eemaan; wa mal-lam yatub fa-ulaaa’ika humuz zaalimoon
12. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اجْتَنِبُوا كَثِيرًا مِنَ الظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ ۖ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا وَلَا يَغْتَبْ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا ۚ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًا فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ رَحِيمٌ
Yā ‘Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna Āmanū Ajtanibū Kathīrāan Mina Až-Žanni Inna Ba`đa Až-ŽanniIthmun Wa Lā Tajassasū Wa Lā Yaghtab Ba`đukum Ba`đāan Ayuĥibbu Aĥadukum ‘An Ya’kula Laĥma Akhīhi Maytāan Fakarihtumūhu Wa Attaqū Al-Laha ‘Inna Al-Laha Tawwābun Raĥīmun
49:12  O you who believe! Avoid much of the assumption. Indeed, some assumption (is) sin. And (do) not spy and (do) not backbite some of you (to) others. Would like one of you to eat (the) flesh (of) his brother, dead? Nay, you would hate it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah (is) Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.
12. Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanuj taniboo kaseeram minaz zanni inna ba’daz zanniismunw wa laa tajassasoo wa la yaghtab ba’dukum ba’daa; a yuhibbu ahadukum any yaakula lahma akheehi maitan fakarih tumooh; wattaqul laa; innal laaha tawwaabur Raheem
13. يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ
Yā ‘Ayyuhā An-Nāsu Innā Khalaqnākum Min Dhakarin Wa ‘Unthá Wa Ja`alnākum Shu`ūbāan Wa Qabā’ila Lita`ārafū Inna Akramakum `Inda Al-Lahi Atqākum Inna Al-Laha `Alīmun Khabīrun
49:13  O mankind! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female and We made you nations and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, (the) most noble of you near Allah (is the) most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah (is) All-Knower, All-Aware.
13. Yaaa ayyuhan naasu innaa khalaqnaakum min zakarinw wa unsaa wa ja’alnaakum shu’oobanw wa qabaaa’ila lita’aarafoo inna akramakum ‘indal laahi atqaakum innal laaha ‘Aleemun khabeer
14. قَالَتِ الْأَعْرَابُ آمَنَّا ۖ قُلْ لَمْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَلَٰكِنْ قُولُوا أَسْلَمْنَا وَلَمَّا يَدْخُلِ الْإِيمَانُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ تُطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ لَا يَلِتْكُمْ مِنْ أَعْمَالِكُمْ شَيْئًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
Qālati Al-‘A`rābuĀmannā Qul Lam Tu’uminū Wa Lakin Qūlū Aslamnā Wa Lammā Yadkhuli Al-‘Īmānu Qulūbikum Wa ‘In Tuţī`ū Al-Laha Wa Rasūlahu Yalitkum Min ‘A`mālikum Shay’āanInna Al-Laha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
49:14  Say the Bedouins,We believe.Say, “Not you believe; but say, “We have submitted,” and has not yet entered the faith in your hearts. But if you obey Allah and His Messenger, not He will deprive you of your deeds anything. Indeed, Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
14. Qaalatil-A ‘raabu aamannaa qul lam tu’minoo wa laakin qoolooo aslamnaa wa lamma yadkhulil eemaanu fee quloobikum wa in tutee’ul laaha wa Rasoolahoo laa yalitkum min a’maalikum shai’aa; innal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem
15. إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الصَّادِقُونَ
Innamā Al-Mu’uminūna Al-LadhīnaĀmanū Bil-Lahi Wa Rasūlihi Thumma Lam Yartābū Wa Jāhadū Bi’amwālihim Wa ‘Anfusihim Sabīli Al-Lahi ‘Ūlā’ika Humu Aş-Şādiqūna
49:15  Only the believers (are) those who believe in Allah and His Messenger, then (do) not doubt but strive with their wealth and their lives in (the) way (of) Allah. Those [they] (are) the truthful.”
15. Innamal muu’minoonal lazeena aamanoo billaahi wa Rasoolihee summa lam yartaaboo wa jaahadoo biamwaalihim wa anfusihim fee sabeelil laah; ulaaaika humus saadiqoon
16. قُلْ أَتُعَلِّمُونَ اللَّهَ بِدِينِكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
Qul ‘Atu`allimūna Al-Laha Bidīnikum Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu  As-Samāwāti Wa Mā  Al-‘Arđi Wa Allāhu Bikulli Shay’in `Alīmun
49:16  Say, “Will you acquaint Allah with your religion while Allah knows what (is) in the heavens and what (is) in the earth. And Allah of every thing (is) All-Knower.”
16. Qul atu’allimoonal laaha bideenikum wallaahu ya’lamu maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ard; wallaahu bikulli shai’in ‘Aleem
17. يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا ۖ قُلْ لَا تَمُنُّوا عَلَيَّ إِسْلَامَكُمْ ۖ بَلِ اللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَاكُمْ لِلْإِيمَانِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Yamunnūna `Alayka An Aslamū Qul  Tamunnū `Alayya Islāmakum Bali Al-Lahu Yamunnu `Alaykum An Hadākum Lil’īmāniIn Kuntum Şādiqīna
49:17  They consider (it) a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say, “(Do) not consider a favor on me your Islam. Nay, Allah has conferred a favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you are truthful.
17. Yamunnoona ‘alaika an aslamoo qul laa tamunnoo ‘alaiya Islaamakum balillaahu yamunnu ‘alaikum an hadaakum lil eemaani in kuntum saadiqeen
18. إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
Inna Al-Laha Ya`lamu Ghayba As-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arđi Wa Allāhu Başīrun Bimā Ta`malūna
49:18  Indeed, Allah knows (the) unseen (of) the heavens and the earth. And Allah (is) All-Seer of what you do.”
18. Innal laaha ya’lamu ghaibas samaawaati wal ard; wallaahu baseerum bimaa ta’maloon (section 2)
